I moved from Chennai to Bangalore. A month before my billing cycle, I called customer support, and through IVRS registered my request to terminate my connection. There was no response from them, no ticket number was registered. I registered again through IVRS, sent a support email for termination, no response. Once my billing cycle came to an end (Oct 22nd 2020) I started getting calls from them to pay my renewal, which I did not want, as I wanted to terminate.
I raised this issue everytime I got a call from Hathway, and no one terminated my connection. I had to move from Chennai in the month end, and no one came to pick up my device and playbox. I even called a sales guy in Chennai to inform him to ask his folks to take away the device but no one came. Alas, I had to move without handing over the device as I didn't have any other choice.
Now I am in a new city, with a new ISP but every day I get 3 to 4 calls, again and again, asking me to renew my account! I am fed up explaining my issues
As a consumer, I have paid all my bills on time. I have almost blocked 10 to 15 new numbers from which they call me every day!!
I am tired of this torture and would like to take some kind of legal action or do something to end this!
