I have disconnected my Hathway broadband in Indirapuram . i have deposited modem Even * months later, I'm still getting innumerable calls every single day to renew my account, to take a new connection. I'm fed up and cannot take it anymore...

    My name is Anshuman Pathak and I am from Varanasi Uttar Pradesh. Pincode 221002.
    As this is work from home time, I also thought to get a ISP connection. There are not plenty of options available in my city. So I thought to go with GTPL, as it was offering decent plan for decent price.
    On 13th of September, I contacted local guy who is a sale staff of gtpl ISP connection. I paid him 6000rs and he did my registration and he told that it'll take around 12-13days to setup connection at my place. I paid him, and I got email and sms on mobile from [protected]@gtpl.net in which there was recipet of my payment. After 2 days I got my user ID through SMS.
    Now cut to after 13 days, when I called him he was not answering my calls, after 3-4 tries, he answered and said that he will come tomorrow for wiring then he never came.
    Then I contacted gtpl and after several emails and tweets, they said that connection at my place is feasible, that it can't be done.and they said to apply for refund. And for refund I had to email them which I did.
    From that day till today I contacted gtpl via twitter email and through call. All they say to wait for 24hrs but they don't do anything. It's been more than 1 months. Now they ignore my emails.

      Hi I'm an existing Hathway Braodband internet user with id: [protected] and I have opted for 6 months subscription and paid for rest of the months and my internet was available since 10 days and after multiple follow ups the issue is not fixed and they closed my service request as resolved with out fixing it.

        I bought Hathway's broadband plan 7 days ago with full payment for 6 months, Rs4248. The internet connection hasn;t worked properly even on one day. I raised several complaints on the customer care but they didn't resolve the issue and either cut the call or marked the service request closed without solving the issue.

        THIS IS THE WORST BROADBAND COMPANY EVER, THEY LOOT THIER CUSTOMERS BY TAKING ADVANCE PAYMENT AND NOT PROVIDING ANY SERVICES.

          I wish to terminate my hathway broadband account. I have sent multiple emails to their support ID [protected]@hathway.net but no response. Have also tried calling their helpline #[protected] but just get to listen to the options and recorded message but not able to get any of their CS executive on the call to speak to them. It has been a frustrating experience.

          Pls advise.

            Dear Team,

            My Name is Mahesh, I requested for a new connection on 14.10.2020 through your website, after that i received a call from Ms.Mounika ([protected]) from sales team and she asked the location to verify whether hathway is providing the service or not...I shared my location and address through Whatsapp to her. She again called me and told that Hathway is providing service near by our residence..Then she asked me to provide the details to create a account, account was created([protected]) and today, the installation guy called me and informed that we are not giving service to your address due to cable is not available in your area.

            I am trying to reach Mounika, but she is not accepting my call, She is not responding my Messages also..

            One of Hathway Employee his name is Raju ([protected]) he spoken with me in the morning (17.10.2020)and told me that he will sort out the issue and call me back by evening, but unfortunately i haven't received the call from him and also his is not accepting my calls yet...

            I request the team to give the connection or reimburse the amount ASAP.

            I request the consumer court to punish them, they are cheating the customers.. They are not responding the calls, once payment transfer to their account...

            I hope the consumer court will solve the issue ASAP..

              Hello Sir / Madam,

              I am really fedup of asking procedures on how to terminate my Hathway Broad Band Connection at Bangalore. As I am permanently shifting to Madurai, where Hathway service is not available.

              I have called Hathway Helpdesk multiple times and It is giving automatic voice to confirm the termination of broadband connection. And I have confirmed the termination in the call and the voice said you will get a request number immediately and people will contact you on the procedures how to terminate the broadband connection. But no one has contacted so far and I did not receive any request number for terminating through call in helpdesk.

              I am really wondering and fed up last 2 weeks to get a response from Hathway. But no one cares. Is there any one can please help me.

                I was promised with a data quota of 1000 gb and a speed of 50 mbps while i was taking a plan of hathway... But shortly after i paid my money for pack renewal my quota decreased from 1400 gb to 20 gb..
                I didnt use 1200 gb of it and it was all vanished.. I really demand to be given 1000 gb because 20 will be in no way be sufficient for me for a month... I demand for an immediate response.. Or else ill proceed legally

                  I'm a resident of Hyderabad, Telangana. I have applied for a new connection with GTPL Hyderabad, I paid 3200/- for a 50Mbps plan for 6 months. The GTPL sales person Naresh Nemali (+91-[protected]) approached me personally at my residence saying they are launching broadband service which is more advanced than the competitor and they would complete installation with activation within 48 hours from payment. Upon their assurance of 48 hours setup process I have paid them 3200 through Google Pay (Payment attached) on 8th Oct 2020 to Venkat Yadav (+91-[protected] - who interacted with me on Naresh's behalf as he is on personal emergency) a colleague of Naresh Nemali who are sales guys for GTPL Hyderabad.

                  Since then it has been 10 days and neither the company executives nor its customer care are giving relevant answers, the sales guy Naresh Nemali is not answering my calls or messages and blocked my phone number. Venkat Yadav earlier gave me his manager's phone number to express my grievance. I called Devender Reddy (+91-[protected]), the Manager for the above 2 sales guys and explained him it has been almost 1 week and nobody is responding nor providing connection. Manager used to he is personally looking at the issue and will be done in couple of hours. From then I had to call him again and again as he didn't give any specific answer. He was fooling me around for 3 days and making me call every 2-3 hours saying I will get it done you call me after 2 hours. He repeated the same thing for 3 days taking advantage of my need for internet and that I've already made full payment.

                  As nothing is working out, I have asked them to refund my amount so that I can take other provider's connection. Naresh was reluctant to refund as it he would lose his sales incentive if I get refund, to avoid that conversation he blocked my phone number. I somehow, convinced manager Devender for refund and he took my cancelled cheque saying he will initiate refund process immediately. He sent him the cheque through whastapp and since then he stopped responding. He didn't give me an acknowledgement that refund is initiated, but asked to call him back in 2 hours again to confirm if they started refund process. I have asked sales guy for payment receipt, they used to say they will send in 2 mins over whatsapp but never sent me one.

                  I'm IT Professional working from home and they lack of providing network on time escalated my absence at work. I'm facing problems at my work place. I would like to report this careless and fraud nature of GTPL technicians, manager and sales executives and demand an immediate full refund.
                  I have attached relevant docs and screenshots for reference.

                      Hi All, I have subscribed for hathway broadband connection on 04 october 2020 by paying Rs- 607 for 1 month. Everyday I was getting update from customer care executive and the person who has taken money that connection will be established by EOD. I think they do not know the meaning of EOD. Finally on 7th october they gave me Cable after after following up with them but till 10th EOD They did not install modem. So, I have decided to cancel subscription and made Cancellation request through customer care executive. I thought of checking this thing with the person who has taken money but he has switched off his mobile. I have the receipt of payment which I maid. So, I really need your help in order to get my subscription amount back from them. Kindly call me back if you need any information. They have activated pre-paid plan without my knowledge .                       I have received some fraud calls from someone after posting this ..they say they are from hathway customer care and asking for my debit card details for refund..pls beware..and take some strict action .that's why i am solving this ..otherwise i still received calls

                        Ac number [protected], every week there is an problem with Hathway when we registered a complaint there's no resolution, they don't pick up calls, respond to email,[protected] some guy who handles Chembur branch, but he has no audacity to pick up call and answer.

                        He's number is on website of Hathway chembur. Sunil chaugle, the nodal officer no one is helping out.

                        We need a resolution on this.

                          I'm a Hathway broadband customer for last 5 years. And during this period I mostly had issues with internet speed and they were often resolved. But since 21st September I'm having connectivity issues. Whenever I switch modem and WiFi off from main switch I lose internet connectivity, then I've to spend 30 minutes on call with customer support, where they promise prompt service but it actually takes about 10-12 hours to restore the internet. This cycle repeats. Neither their customer support nor their technical team provide any permanent fix.Their customer support is highly inept.

                          So far I've raised about 10 tickets but no permanent solution is offered. I'm without internet every alternate day. And I pay 3056 rupees quarterly. Apart from monetary loss, their service is causing me mental torture and loss of productivity.

                          Now even after this there is no permanent fix to the problem, I'll be forced to approach consumer court.

                            Hi, My Modem Adaptor has stopped working since 4 days. SLA was 24 hours which is already breached. There is no response from Hathway Technical Team. Everytime i called up Hathway custome care, I am just hearing that their technical team will get back to me. I can neither escalate this ticket to supervisor/manage nor can have conversation with them. So, there is no way, i can get something on my issue. I am already on Loss of Pay.
                            Customer Care Representative are rude and useless people. They never know what is happening with your ticket. When asked about connecting with supervisor, they gives rubbish excuses.
                            Even last time, I raised ticket on 5th and 6th Oct, it was closed before resolving issue. Hathway has started giving pathetic service now.

                              My account number is [protected]. I have paid Rs 2831/- for starting a new Hathway broadband connection on 5th October 2020. The service guy could not set up the hathway cable in our society for 3 days so I cancelled the service on 8th October 2020. I still have not received my refund back of Rs. 2831/- which I had done through my credit card. It has been more than a week now.This is very frustrating!!!

                                  I was very happy with the service, but with shifting my house i couldn't transfer the connection
                                  But calling and spaming made me hate this company from the core

                                    I have disconnected the hathway broadband because of relocating to different part of chennai. I have called to customer care to stop the service but daily twice i'm getting call from hathway stating that we're providing offer please do recharge. How to stop this call? Do i need to come to your capital office and give you a written statement? As per your guidelines i reached customer care and informed to stop the service. What else expecting from consumer?
