For the past 2 months Hathway broadband has had an issue where the youtube app will stop loading anything. I had raised a ticket for this and they axknol3that it SS a problem on their side but nothing has been done for over 2 months now. They keep closing my tickets saying issue is resolved without even checking with me.
Hathway customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

    I have complain about internet not working on 11th October and they have automatically closed complain that without visited or shorted our complaint. i have complaint again on 12th still no response from team. i am calling 3 times in a day on customer care and they are saying that your complaint is under process. but still no result found.

      Hi My Hathway customer no is [protected]. I am fed of Hathway issues and the internet speed and it really sucks up like anything. I have already changed my Internet service provider today 13th of Oct 2020 and I really want Hathway to Deactivate my service at the earliest. I tried to reach through customer care but it had never worked so please help me to terminate it at the earliest possible.

        Issue: frequent Disconnect and Low internet.
        follow up: multiple times.

        Reason: Faulty Modem
        Request: Open from august

        Impact:
        1.online School are interrupted (need to find alternatives)
        2. Work from home (job impact)(loss of reputation and risk of losing the job)

          I have took 100Mbps speed pack worth of Rs. 2124/- and Hathway activated 50Mbps pack worth Rs. 1766.46/- I paid Rs. 2124/- and there is no refund of Rs. 356/- While, I call to customer service number they keep me on hold for long time and they hangup the call. No response from any one of Hathway Broadband.

            Hi

            When I took Hathway broadband service they tell me that I have to purchase so I bought it by paying more than Rs 3500.

            Now on closure when I raised request 04102020M457865 to close the connection no body contacted back and request was automatically closed .

            Then I contacted the person who has installed the device to deactivate the account as bill was getting utilized and unnecessary amount was added in account.

            It's very irresponsive behaviour from Hathway. Now because I have to shift so I have taken modem with me.

            Don't know what to do?

            Hi Hathway,

            Even after asking to disconnect connection twice through their request portal via request Id attached, I am receiving bills for this month. I will not pay anything as I am not using your connection since last month 4th October 2020. I had already changed the city so please close my connection with Id [protected].

              I am so fed up with almost 15 to 20 calls everyday from hathway despite numerous requests. I am a depression patient and on the verge of .losing my job because i get non stop calls from hathway while i am on meeting due to which, i miss information being said during the meetings.

              I WILL BE FORCED TO FILE A LAWSUIT AGAINST YOU IF THIS DOESNT STOP.

                Hathway pre-legal team sending email for router

                Dear Sir / Madam,

                I am writing to you to raise an issue about Hathway Broadband Internet

                The issue that I have experienced was: I have requested to renew my Hathway Broadband connection on the 4th of October, they asked to make payment to initiate the process and the connection will be installed within 24 hours. After 24 hours I tried to connect with customer care but there is no option to contact them if you already booked a connection and if you will choose to speak to the support team for a new connection and ask them that you book a connection but it is not installed then they will not respond and you have to cut the call. My connection needs to be installed in Ghaziabad location and after a week they have forwarded my request to Delhi. Its been a week I cant followup with anyone on this issue and my connection is not installed.

                It occurred on 4/10/2020

                Hathway has to activate my connection today only and they have to pay me the amount I have paid to book for a new connection from another ISP.

                I look forward to your prompt response on this matter. I would like to keep a complete record of my case, so please reply back via this email account.

                  My internet connection is not working for last 8 days as on 12 Oct 2020, I raised complain on 5 Oct 2020, GTPL issue resolution time is 3 days. I am calling customer care daily morning and noon but getting same reply that your complain will be resolved today. I have sent emails to [protected]@gtpl.net too but getting same reply on email too that issue will be resolved ASAP. My complained id which I registered on 5 Oct 2020 is Ticket # 6956849. There is no way to escalate any issue further to seniors.

                    I want to complaint against Hathaway Broadband services. It is very awful experience of this internet. Their services are lousiest and pathetic. Even after so many complaints on customer care, nodal officer and appellate we only get hardly any responses. But they only send their promotional messages and apologization & didn't take any action to improvise the quality of their internet. It is so disappointing that even The Nodal Officer, Customer Care Services and Appellate are rascals. If they will not give a good service who will give us satisfactory service. I want back the whole year's refund. Due to the poor internet, the children are also facing too many problems in contacting the meeting, during Online classes and tests. Children are having a loss as their exams are also conducting online and they cannot attend their exams properly. For the children's education loss and business loss, I want 5 lakh rupees as loss compensation

                      When I use the connection it constantly gets connected and disconnect every 2 seconds and also speed gets blocked for every 2 seconds..

                      I am facing this issue since 3 days please resolve it as soon as possible...

                        Delete my hathway account

                        I deactivated my hathway account ([protected]) as I moved cities. The modem was collected before I left. Its been 3 months and I get calls everyday asking about renewal. I have raised requests to delete account on their customer care number[protected] and [protected]@hathway.net.
                        I still continue to receive calls. Blocking the caller doesn't help either as i have blocked 10 numbers of hathway and they call from different numbers...

                        I have disconnected my Hathway broadband in Laxmi Nagar, Delhi and shifted to Kolkata. Even 6 months later, I'm still getting innumerable calls every single day to renew my account, to take a new connection. I'm fed up and cannot take it anymore.

                          Threats and harassment

                          Was a customer 2 years ago. Terminated service and paid a cost of Rs. 2500+Rs. 100 for the modem and was on a prepaid connection. Have received 35 emails threatening and harassing from 'Hathway Pre Legal Team'. Contacted everyone including the Appellate Authority with proof of credit card statement and emails from Chennai Help Desk confirming my obligations, that the amount has been paid but received no acknowledgement except further threatening...

                            I recharged my Hathway broadband account on[protected] through BHIM upi transaction for Rs.755. The amount got debited from my bank account but while checking my hathway account is shows inactive status only. I check with bank about the status of my payment, they confirmed that the payment was already credited to Hathway a/c. I raised the service request in Hathway app and received a mail from [protected]@hathway.net that my payment was received by them and my account is activated. But as said in their mail my account was not activated till now even after 19 days from the payment received by hathway. I have send my mails to [protected]@hathway.net, tn.[protected]@hathway.net and [protected]@hathway.net but no one is able to resolve this issue. Final mail i received from tn.[protected]@hathway.net was they are still coordinating with Mumbai team to resolve this issue. So Please check and activate my account. My account no:[protected], Hathway transaction ID :[protected], UPI Transaction ID :[protected], Amount - Rs.755, Date:[protected] Time: 06.39 pm. I have attached relevant documents for your reference.

                              I had recharged my Hathway account on 22nd July 2020
                              My Plan 8 MBPS for 4500/-
                              As i was old customer but not used the Broadband services for around 3 years but still i had the wired connection with modem at home. Still they took more than a week to provide me the broadband Services. I thought it is fine as it was due to Covid-19 . Then my Internet started as 2 fellow from Hathway visited my home and did all necessary changes.

                              After their changes internet was working but immediately after couple of hours i was not able to use the internet services. but I thought as it was new connection is would happen but it happened regulary

                              After the complaint the technician used to visit my home and do all required changes and checks, the internet used to start working, but after couple of hours same problem exists was not able to use the Internet Services. This is happening since start but now i cannot leave my hard-earned-money

                              Desirable Resolution for my Complaint:-
                              1) Uninterrupted Internet Services (Request of Repair)
                              2) Request for Refund of my money

                                Pathetic service by Hathway. Customer support person is attending the call from the road side. Hear vehicle noises and unable to talk properly. When I asked about that, the technician disconnected the call. To escalate this issue I called Nodal office chennai. Called 3 times and nobody attended the call. Hathway is the worst!!!

                                  Hi,

                                  One of the worst ever service operations in Boradband connectivity.. I have raised a ticket for my Internet is not working on 07.10.2020 & still the ticket is open. They dont have an courtsey to callback customer & acknowledge the complaint. In my modem all the lights are on still my WiFi is not working, really one of the paethatic services i have came across..
