I have applied for hathway 50 mbps broadband connection on september 15, 2020, and paid an advance rental of 3 months, total rs. 1767/- vide payu link shared by the sales team mr. Dharma rao (Ph: [protected]). I was assured that the services will be installed at my residence in 2 hrs.
Installation person (Ph: [protected]) called me on 16 september, 2020, one day after and visited my place. He said that the distance from the pop is long, and that i will not receive proper services. Immediately i have written mail and called customer service for cancellation of connection and refund of advance rental collected.
I have not received any reply and after follow up with mr dharma rao for two days, he finally shared with me the contact of one mr. Kiran (Ph: [protected]) on 18th sep, 2020.
When i called kiran, he connected me with mr. Raghavendra - technical incharge (Ph: [protected]), and raghavendra has sent the installation engineer again to my residence. Installation engineer (Ph: [protected]) again repeated the same statement that the pop is far and that i will not receive the proper connectivity. However, raghavendra kept on insisting that he will take care of the same and assured me proper services. Trusting him, i have allowed the team to install the service.
On 18th sep, 2020, services were installed, but today it is 19th sep, 2020, i am still unable to use the internet. When i call raghavendra, he keeps on informing that an engineer will come to my place and correct the connection, but no one has turned up.
My account billing started yday, but i have not started using services yet. I have raised service request no: 18092020m098687 on 18th sep, 2020, and till now no one contacted me to resolve the issue.
Hathway customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
