On 26-Aug, made a payment for three months in advance of Rs 2525 for internet services.
However, due to inconsistent services, wanted to cancel the payment and discontinue hathway services. Hence raised the request on 27-Sep, following is the request no.[protected]W311800.
However, neither received any response nor refund from Hathway team.
Furthermore, when I contacted the service center was told that would not received the remaining amount as refund.
Kindly help me recover the amount paid in advance.
Had launched multiple complaints for betterment of services but the network never improves

    I keep receiving unwanted calls regarding renewing my account with Hathway Broadband. I have already terminated my connection many months ago, but receive between 2-3 calls from them every day.

        I have a Hathway connection from Jan-19, Account No.[protected]. After Jul-19 I am not
        Using the Hathway above said connection. And then I like activate the same connection I call
        The people they are installing a new connection No.[protected] I was using from Mar-2020
        I asking for the old connection number but they are providing a new connection.

        So I made a complaint to close the new account and activate the old connection. After that
        They are activated the old connection. I recharged Rs.565/- on[protected], and Rs.[protected] Still Internet connection is not working. I called several times and made a online
        Complain about the connection but there is no action.

        So pls I need my two months recharge amount refund.

        Pls do the needful as soon as possible.

        and sort out the Internet propblem, now it’s working. But my Aug-20 payment refund is

          I am a customer of Hathway broadband who has been complaining about frequent disconnection and slow speed sine the time of subscribing to the service. Complaints are closed but there is absolutely no improvement.

          I am paying for 25mbps of speed but till date it does not go above 3 to 6 Mbps most of the time it's below 1 Mbps.

          My current complaint of 15 sept on the same topic has not been resolved till date. No communication at all from Hathway.               Hi
              I have requested for a new fiber net connection but copper wire connection was given with account number [protected].
              Since I don't want copper wire connection and also the speed is dead slow and not usable so I wanted to cancel the connection.

              I requested the same but customer care guys are saying we will not refund money.

              This is very unprofessional.

                      I took a connection in August, however the speed falls exponentially after 4m radius. doesn't even cover my half house. I have raised a ticket many times, however, no proper action has ever been taken. I just want a refund for the remaining days of my subscription.

                      Topping everything, they ask me to buy a booster/mesh-router, which is extremely uncalled for, as I paid for a wifi that'd cover my entire house.!

                        I have taken the gtpl broadband connection 3 months back of 40mbps speed but neither i get 40mbps speed nor do i get a connection for 24hrs. Every two days, the connection gets off and i have to use mobile data after having wifi at house. No response from customer care and nor do they pick the call. They have also taken money for fiber optic but they never provided us with a fibre optic cable too. Whenever we ask for the disconnect issue they answer one thing only that someone has cut their wires.

                                I am facing continuously problem with internet connection and also complaints too many times in gtpl customer support and also send them email to solve my issue. but they are not taking any actions on it.

                                I have been facing this issue since last 4-5 months and every alternate day my internet connection gone.

                                Whenever I talking with customer support they told me they will resolve and after resolve my issue next again my internet connection was gone. so every month I have register complaint 10-12 times.

                                If you guys don't solve my issue then please uninstall your broadband setup from my premises, I don't want this kind of setup. I already waste my money and time for this connection as well as calls, With this email I am just waiting for your positive response and positive support for this kind of issues

                                Again facing the same problem. I have called customer service and they told me they were working on my area for a permanent solution but I can't see any solution done. Since last week I am facing the same problem again.

                                So please uninstall your broadband setup from my premises, I don't want this kind of setup. I already waste my money and time on this connection as well as calls.

                                  I am writing to you to raise an issue about: broadband internet

                                  The issue that i have experienced was: my account number is [protected]
                                  I recharged rupees 236 to change my plan from 707 to 943 after calling the customer care. But they did not change my plan and gave 100gb addon. I had contacted the customer care more than 20 times for this issue but my issue is not solved till now. My plan is going to end tomorrow and i have to recharge pls give my 236 back so that i will change my plan this time.
                                  Today the billing team called me and told that your plan is going to end and reacharge now.
                                  I explained the above issue to them and they asked me to pay rupees 724 and told me they eill give the 943 plan. So i too recharged 724 but even this time they lied me. Only the 707 plan was activated this time too.
                                  I didn't expect this!!!

                                  It occurred on: 28/08/2020

                                  Hathway must refund my 253 back or else change my plan to 943 plan

                                  I look forward to your prompt response on this matter. I would like to keep a complete record of my case, so please reply back via this email account.

                                    I am a consumer of hathway wi-fi services for a long time. My account

                                    I request you to discontinue the service and refund my recharge amount.
                                    Since the recharge was done in the month of august 2020, till february 2021. I want you to return the money in proportion to the 7 months. The
                                    Recharge amount was paid for the speed of 50 mbps and despite that i receive speed in kbs (Both
                                    Download and uploading, even normal browsing become tough at times).

                                    I have repeatedly complained about the service, that the internet is
                                    Extremely poor since last 2-3 months. A lot of times customer care
                                    Informed me a technician would visit us to check the connectivity
                                    Issue. Despite that, no one visited or even cared to check it. My
                                    Father even visited the hathway office in noida sector 10 and even
                                    Then internet issues are not going away. We are extremely tired of it. The internet service has caused mental agony to me as internet stopped when it was required the most. I even could not perform my best in a job interview due to internet issues and have lost marks in my course as well because we were required to present virtually. Their internet is putting my career at stake.

                                    The internet is being used for household purposes, not even commercial purposes. Internet is that bad that the other person gets irritated on the video call. We require to attend meetings, classes, participate in competitions (We pay for participation) etc. And there is not a day when we don't get bothered by this internet service. Also, it
                                    Is my right to discontinue the service and claim the payment
                                    Back on the pretext of mental agony, bad service and not resolving the issue despite repeated complaints. Kindly refund my money and discontue the service.

                                      By profession i am a software engineer and during this covid time to be able to get my office work done it is very important to have a consistent internet connection. But still i was cooperating with this company in terms of far from consistent service but from last 21 days my internet connection is not working and i have been calling them so many times for solving my issue but they have done nothing so far. So after figuring out the quality of service i figured i will not recharge my connection once it gets over and so i didn't recharge. Once the account became inactive they started calling me everyday for doing a recharge and i told will recharge only after you guys fix my issue. They denied fixing my connection if i don't recharge it. Again i received a call from customer care they told me please recharge we will fix your connection in 5 mins after too many requests from them i fell for it and again recharged it. Once the recharge was done again i stopped getting any calls from them whatsoever. I have sent a email to all available email ids of hathway for the resolution. Being not sure about what else i can do i landed up here to write this complaint.

                                        I have requested to terminate my broadband connection since 29th August 2020. Still they have not provided any resolution. I need to vacate my place and hence want to submit router and wanted refund for it. Also I have made recharge for 3 months and I have used it for 8 days only after that my broadband connection has stopped working. Because of the delay in resolution I have opted for other broadband connection hence want to terminate this connection. But their customer service is not responding. I'm taking follow up on daily basis
