I had registered a ticket to transfer my fiber internet connection to a new address on 27th July, 2020 with ticket number 50956. Today is 29th Aug, 2020. It has been 1 month and 2 days. GTPL has not transferred my connection yet. GTPL also closed this ticket number without transferring my connection. They also denied extending the validity of my plan due even after delay from their end. I have called GTPL Appellate Authority more than 5 times but Appellate Authority is also unable to fix my issue.

Expected Solution from GTPL Company:

Finish installation + activation of my fiber internet connection as soon as possible or before 29th Aug, 2020.

This delay of 1 month and 2 days was a mistake of GTPL company. So, add additional validity of 2 months in my current plan as delay was caused by the GTPL company.

    I booked hathway connection and cancelled it after 15 days as it was keep on getting delayed due to port issue.. I cancelled hathway broadband connection on july 21 2020. Still my amount is not refunded.. I reached out hathway customer care 4 times and they are saying amount will credited in 7 to 15 days.. But its been more than a month but still not credited in my account.. If i tried contacting the manager through messages but iam not getting proper response from them.. They are not replying for my messages

    So please look into this issue. Why it's causing delay.

      I got GTPL connection on March 2016 with a deposit of 800 for the setup up box. At the time of installation the operator told me 50% will be refunded on returning the box. they mentioned that on my subscriber card as well. Now, on 28 Aug 2020 when I went to them to return the set up box, they denied for the refund, instead they misbehaved with and threatened me on insisting for my refund. I contacted the customer service and they are saying we have no refund policy this.

        Hi,

        Please see attached screenshot for reference purpose.

        I have already informed over the phone calls and in mails that shifting to new location and doesn't want to extend, so disconnect the connection. However no response from hathway.
        Cycle/recharge was expired on 15th oct 2019 and we have shifted to new location on nov'2019. I have received more than 100 calls during this period in Oct'19 and informed customer care executive for the disconnection.

        I have waited for 15 days in oct'19 for Hathway executive to come and collect, no one came.

        I can't wait in a rented house for so long and hold the device for years to wait for your executive to come and collect.

        Its totally Hathway fault, they should have gone to the registered address for collecting the device on time.

        Its been almost 10-11 months since I shifted to different location and I am not responsible.

        I complained to stop commection and it was the failure of hathway support to stop connection irrespective of multiple reminders to stop connection and hathway send the legal notice to me now?. I had proofs of all emails in my mail box which i had requested to stop the connection. I am not ready to pay any amount. Moreover my connection was prepaid.

          My connection is currently closed as I left the town. I have submitted request for new plan. I tried contacting all the numbers available for customer care but none of them are picking call it is only available for TV connection but there is no customer care number for broadband connection. I was finally able to contact the customer care but the person disconnected the call without hearing complete details it happened multiple times. I registered my complaint on there app there also they closed it without contacting me. I am fed up of there service. I want to disconnect my service with them and return the router but they do not have single place to contact them.

            Dear sir,
            I want to tell you that i took connection from gtpl in patna in january and paid the installation charge rs 2400 to one of the employee/agent. After 7 months i shifted my house locally around 2.5 km from previous adreess. Then i requested them to transfer my connection as they said that will be done in 7-8 days. After that they are not responding the customer as it is well known you can check on google reviews i went to the head office of patna but they simply said that they can’t give connection because it is around 120 m far from the depo not possible to provide the connection after calling repeatedly and visting patna head office.
            Now i want you to focus on the issue that as i paid 2500 and still 3 months in advanced paid now around 50 days still left.
            If a company can’t provide service from one place to another in the range of 2.5 km and charging hefty amount of installation and they said during the installation that they will transfer the connection now they simply refused.
            I asked for the return atleast the advanced paid for 3 months they refused because i signed it.
            They are fooling the customers like this.
            Please take some strict action against them and set an example.

              Hi I Raj rani sharma, have Hathway WIFI connection since 2017. Now, since 2-3 months WIFI isn't working fine. We lodged complains so many times. But, noone turned up to resolve the issue.Otherside the complain is automatically closed without attending the issue.
              Recently lodged complained no: 23082020M476034, This is also got automatically closed, without attending the issue. We have paid the amount until Oct 2021.
              I request to take legal action against such company & get my money refund back.

                Hi..
                I made a complaint to hathway regarding no internet since 10 days.. But none of the customer care or the technical dept is bothered to look into the issue... All they say is we are looking and will solve the issue.. I have already paid the advance for 3 months... Nw more 2 months to go... This is very pathetic service from the hathway... Even the cust care executives are not professional on the call... This is purely against the ethics of cust care... I request all not to go with this company... Atleast i will not go with this kind of pathetic service provider...

                  Hi,

                  My Hathway acc no - [protected]

                  For 12 days, nothing at all has happened on my complaint.

                  I have made many calls to the helpdesk for this exact issue and each time explained them the problem in detail. I have raised requests-id 4 times.
                  3 requests-ids have been closed. The problem is not yet resolved and no explanation is ever given.

                  MY 4TH request id was "24082020M500712", which is still open for two days now.
                  The funny part is I cannot contact the helpdesk till the request is open. So, the only means to cumminate with hathway is also gone till the request id is open.
                  I am using this forum as a last resort.

                  My 1st request id was "17082020W336969". No action was taken and the request was simply closed that day.
                  My 2nd request was on 18-nov-2020. I had explained the entire problem in detail in that mail. Next day the request was closed. Not sure if someone even read that mail.
                  3rd time I called the helpdesk again and explained the entire problem in detail again. Helpdesk raised a request (request-id "23082020W479801") and told me that someone from the billing team will call me. But next day I simply received an SMS that my request has been closed. No one even bothered to call me.

                  I am explaining the problem again here :-

                  Each month I pay my bill and receive 235 GB each month. I am on the same plan for many years now.
                  The bill that I paid this month (on 8-Aug-2020) is exactly the same that I had been paying each month.

                  12 days ago, my speed suddenly dropped very low.

                  When I checked the selfcare portal, the "Data Usage" section was showing that I had only 35 GB of data allotted to me (instead of 235 GB that I receive each month).
                  The portal was showing that the data limit has been reached (whereas in reality, I had used only 35 GB of data. 200 GB of data should still be remaining).

                  Seems like someone accidently moved to a lower plan without evne consulting me.

                  On my 4th request, I had explicitly asked them to call me. So far no one has bothered to call me.

                  I asked them to call me so that I can explain them not to move me to my old plan now(which was an expansive plan) for the month of August.
                  The month of August is almost gone now and I don't want to move to my old plan for August. The only thing I will be doing is "paying a higher bill without using the services".
                  I want to move to my old plan from the month of September.

                  Please look into this and call me.

                  Hi team, just now I simply received an SMS that my 4th complaint has also be closed. The issue is not resolved and no one contacted me.

                  I just received a bill for the month of August from Hathway.

                  Hathway is charging me the full bill amount for the month of August (They gave me only 35GB but they are charging me the full bill amount of 235GB).

                  This is sick. I don't know what to say and whom to contact.

                  There is no bloody way to contact Hathway billing team. When I call the helpdesk, the helpdesk simply raises a complaint ticket (like they had done 4 times in the past month) and then the billing team simply closes the ticket the very next day.

                      This is Muthu suresh From Chennai Ac No :[protected] .I have internet problems for the last 5 days[protected] to[protected] still it is not resolved.

                      Thursday[protected] Afternoon I face internet connection problems. LOS light blink.
                      I received a call from the Service person contact no ([protected]) .He told don`t raise a complaint I will fix within 2 hour. Evening I called the service person he told I`m checking.At 8.30 PM again I called and he told me tomorrow morning It will be solved.

                      Friday[protected] Morning 10 am I called the Service person .He told me to raise the complaint within 1day I will solve. Friday 11am I raised the complaint ticket[protected]M431996) . and call customer care ([protected] ) .Customer support person told me it will be resolved within 3 hours.After 3 hour Again I called customer care .They told me it will be resolved within 3 hour.

                      At 5PM a service person ([protected]) called me and came to my home and checked and told me I was checking it would solve. After 1 hour I called to the service person ([protected]). He never pick my call.But in the model LOS (blinking is stopped) but PON (light is blink).

                      Saturday[protected] . I called to the customer care ( [protected] ) for disconnect my connection .They raised the ticket[protected]W460807) for disconnect the connection.

                      Monday[protected] I call the customer care ( [protected] ) .They told your ticket is closed .They asked me to raise new ticket but in my mobile ticket is on processing status.

                      Within 1 hour the sales person came and disconnect the connection.
                      Actual my plan expire date is 10-Sep-2020 but I disconnect the connection on 24-Aug-2020

                      I raised two tickets, from your side response very fast to disconnect the connection comparatively solve the problem of the first ticket raised. today ur service provider came to disconnect broadband connection, regretting your service.

                      I need refund money for 20 days

                        Why are guys bombarding us with annoying renewal-reminder pop ups whenever we visit any website. We are a prepaid subscribers and we have the right to decide if the service has to be renewed or not.

                        And because of your cavalier attitude of displaying all my confidential info such as account no, payment amount, date of renewal etc.. I'm unable to share my screen with my clients and customers.

                        Don't you guys know what data privacy and security means..??

                        Also why am I being bombarded with reminder calls to renew the account..?? Such an irritating customer service.

                          I have subscribed gtpl broadband (User id - bb[protected]). My registered mobile no is [protected],
                          Today gtpl technical person came to my home and he said that we are unable to give you broadband connection. Because of your gtpl tv cable operator is mr janibhai, x - 11 space, (Stb no - fcbdpktpr). I am very disappointed by this reply.
                          He also said that your tv cable operator is not allowed for wire configuration.

                          Do needful on urgent basis... Take action against the same.

                            I have recently shifted my place, just to another apartment in the same building and raised a request for shifting on 18 Aug 2020. And it's been told that to the maximum it takes 72hrs to address the request. On the other hand I followed up with customer care team regarding the update next day itself as it was urgent that I had to handover the key to landlord. And recieved an update that my area is feasible which was the update. Since then I'm hearing the same all the time. No proper update from customer service. And it is Aug 22 2020, more than 72hrs and no one has called me on the same and I'm in a position to handover the key to my landlord for next tenant. And still my device is in the previous apartment. Really embarrassed with Hathway service. Hathway should always keep up TAT promise or atleast give proper update so that will plan accordingly. I would kindly request you to check for the update and ASAP arrange technician for shifting.

                              Technical last 20 days not support to me. I am renew my plan with fibre connection but technical team is not done with his work ( fibre connection is still pending ). I called more than 50 times to technical team.

                                Hi team,

                                I have sent couple mails to Hathway support team to close my account & collect router from me.
                                Now I have moved to Hyderabad.
                                So no one has responded from Hathway team.

                                I tried multiple time to reach your support team & no one has taken care about account closing, but sending these annoyance messages.

                                In this way if your team is working then how can I reactivate /renew my account (A/C No : [protected]) again.

                                Hathway is worst network & support
                                I am getting messages to pay money (2499 /-) to pick up a router, this is really very bad support from Hathway.
                                To get your router back, why should I pay money to you ?
                                I was reminded many times to collect your device. That is your responsibility to collect.

                                    I was told that I will be given 6+6 months offer on internet with 75 MBPS with dual band router. But once the amount is paid they provided only 6+2 and the normal router and not the internet speed with they mentioned as part of offer.

                                      Hathway Internet providers are behaving irresponsibly and once paid money, in that time to not lifting phone calls or not giving any reply and connection also not giveng so guys becare full. Iam the live example.

                                        On 8th October i informed that i would be moving out so kindly come and collect the modem at the earliest. But no one ever connected with him from your team.

                                        I kept the device safely at one my friends place in the same locality. As my account is deactivated unable to contact customer care.
                                        Let me know how to close the account and return the device.
