By profession i am a software engineer and during this covid time to be able to get my office work done it is very important to have a consistent internet connection. But still i was cooperating with this company in terms of far from consistent service but from last 21 days my internet connection is not working and i have been calling them so many times for solving my issue but they have done nothing so far. So after figuring out the quality of service i figured i will not recharge my connection once it gets over and so i didn't recharge. Once the account became inactive they started calling me everyday for doing a recharge and i told will recharge only after you guys fix my issue. They denied fixing my connection if i don't recharge it. Again i received a call from customer care they told me please recharge we will fix your connection in 5 mins after too many requests from them i fell for it and again recharged it. Once the recharge was done again i stopped getting any calls from them whatsoever. I have sent a email to all available email ids of hathway for the resolution. Being not sure about what else i can do i landed up here to write this complaint.

    I have requested to terminate my broadband connection since 29th August 2020. Still they have not provided any resolution. I need to vacate my place and hence want to submit router and wanted refund for it. Also I have made recharge for 3 months and I have used it for 8 days only after that my broadband connection has stopped working. Because of the delay in resolution I have opted for other broadband connection hence want to terminate this connection. But their customer service is not responding. I'm taking follow up on daily basis

      My account no. Is [protected]... I was using hathway connection in 2019
      And relocated to new location.. After relocation i have stopped using
      Hathway connection as it was not there in my area and it got
      Deactivated. And handed modem to the hathway team

      Since last so many days i was getting lot of calls from hathway sales
      Team.. They told me that now hathway is feasible in my new location
      I. E. Patels green park yapral hyderabad.. They have confirmed me
      Through whatsapp and phone and told me that if it is not feasible than
      My money will be refunded..

      Based on their inputs, i recharged my account with rs.425 on
      29.08.2020.. After 1-2 days i got a call from hathway technician that
      Hathway internet connection is not feasible in my
      Location.. Unnecessarily your sales team (Her name is divya and no. Is
      [protected]) has troubled me lot when there is nofeasibility in my
      Location and now for refund she is not picking my call also.. Divya is
      Telling lies just to fulfill the targets and provided the worst
      Support..

      I want my refund of rs.425 in the same bank account from where it got
      Debited.. Refund the money as soon as possible and without troubling me
      Anymore.

      Complaint still not resolved.
      It has taken very long time for refund for installation in non feasible area.. Written mails and complaint to hathway 4-5 times.. But it seems they don't want to solve it.. They are closing complaint without any resolution.. Worst support they have provided...

        deactivate and unsubscribe my hathway account -1187260539

        Dear hathway customer service,
        I've been receiving messages and calls from hathway daily to pay the amount and get promotional gb of data. I have closed my account in july 2020 and suddenly i am receiving messages now on broadband. This is so annoying. I requested and told all of your customer service people about that i'm not using hathway anymore but it seems they didn't take any actions further. It's been more than 4 months since...

          Previously i was using the hathway broadband in hyderabad almost a year back. Then moved out of hyderabad and settled in bangalore. Since then the hathway has not been recharged or it is in deactivate mode. 2 days back i got a call from the customer care telling me that your account is not recharged for a long time so i have to pay 400/- to deactivate my hathaway account. They told me to pay via a link which will they provide and pay via upi or paytm or anything else. Are there really charges for deactivation of account?

            Dear sir / madam,

            I am writing to you to raise an issue about: broadband internet

            The issue that i have experienced was: i was approached on one sales rep of hathway broadband on 3rd sep 2020 and advised 200 mbps plan is available in my locality (As raju nagar, kukatpally hyderabad). I have made the payment for new subscription. After few hours installation team visited my place and confirmed that 200 mbps plan is not yet available in my locality. I felt i was cheated by sales and tried to reach where i got some nasty response. I have raise a complaint on 4th sep 2020 regarding refund but this was not resolved till date.

            It occurred on: 3/09/2020

            I want my money refunded!

            I look forward to your prompt response on this matter. I would like to keep a complete record of my case, so please reply back via this email account.

              Hey, me and my friends we all are stuck in our hometown and due to covid, but before the connection got disconnected, i mailed the hathway (Pune) almost 4-5 time (In june), to remove my connection but they didn't and also whenever i got a call, i mentioned them to remove connection and take ur router back but everytime they say kk but no further procedure and now hathway message me that pay money or return router when all my flatmates are at our hometown not in pune otherwise they do legal procedures, i have all the mail's as proof

                I bought 40mbps plan for 6 month,
                And after 2 month my speed is max 0.06mbps.

                Have complained about it, but no satisfied solution and they closed the complain without even asking me.

                Such a worst customer care team they have.

                  Its been 1 month up now our internet broadband connection is not working. Provider is hathway cable and datacom limited. Two times their technical person visited our campus and went back without fixing the issue. We daily call to their customer care, but we didnt get any solution yet. Again september 15th we raised a ticket, today is 25th they could not fix the issue till now.

                  We request hathway to fix the issue in this week itself or else we request hathway to refund the amount we paid[protected] for 6 months. Transaction id: [protected], amount: 7852.00.

                  Kindly understand the issue and please provide the solution as the earliest.

                  07-10-2020 The Technical team configured the connection as dhcp with new wifi modem. Now Static ip is unable to use it but internet is working. They suggested to go for a load balancer/firewall to enable static ip and port forward. I wonder how the same setup worked last 2 years. Any how the internet connection is working now.

                  September 1st onwards our broadband connection is down. Two times the technical person visited our campus and rectified but it worked only two hours. 25th September we raised a complained again but no one attended the issue and there is no response from Hathway. Again 30th September we raised a new complaint, but til today there is no support provided from Hathway. Everyday we are calling to the customer care, its 35 days up now the line is down.

                  We request Hathway to refund the amount which we paid for 6 months advance. Please provide the refund.

                  Still the issue is not fixed. Once they made it ready in one hour its gone down again. We are unable to contact Hathway technical back end team directly.

                    Hi, my hathway broadband account number is [protected] which has not been in use since april 2020.
                    I have made the service request of disconnecting the broadband connection twice but haven't recieved any confirmation.
                    I keep getting texts and calls to recharge the connection from random numbers.
                    I need my services to be discontinued and all communications via texts and calls to be stopped.

                      I am facing frequent network interruption issue from past 20 days. Even upon calling customer service daily hasn't resolved my issue. Their technicians never visit. Customer care hung up on me when asked for their supervisor. I asked them either to resolve issue or to refund my money but no go. They are ready to disconnect my connection with no refund. I had dropped an email to grievences team as well 3 weeks back but haven't got even an acknowledgment email. I am out of options now.

                        Hi,
                        I have disconnected my hathway broadband and the agent has collected back the router as well.
                        Its been more than 2 months but still each and every day i am getting 4 to 5 calls to renew the account and 4 to 5 messages for the renewal.
                        I have been telling the same reason to each and every person from hathway customer team that i have disconnected and router has been returned. They say they will update in the system, but no action has been taken.
                        1. I have registered complaints via hathway home page but no action taken.
                        2. Have called to pathetic customer number and gave complaint, they say they will update but no action has been taken.
                        3. Have mailed to hathway helpdesk, but no action has been taken.
                        4. Security deposit of rs.400 also not refunded back.

                          I am trying to correct my name on hathway account and have the bills resent. My name is prashanth unni but it was misspelled as prashant unni. After trying to get in touch with hathway and correct this it took 2 weeks after multiple follow ups. And now they have changed the name to prashanth bunni. Really!!! Are they so dumb and uneducated bunch of people. Am going from pillar and post again to have this corrected to prashanth unni.
                          Please have this corrected to prashanth unni and resend last 3 months bill with new corrected name.

                              Hello

                              I took the GTPL internet connection on a date 7th of September 2020 installation done in a date 10th or a 11th September. From that day to up till i am getting only 1 or 2 Mbps internet speed. I took the internet connection as per job requirements but now m facing internet issue if this same thing will happen i might lose my job. I already did complain about speed issue but no action has been taken from GTPL. My complain ID 6673889. Please help me with this.

                                  We have paid the amount for the connection as discussed with executive devraj - nizampet. Committed speed is 100mbps and connected 1 mbps after payment,
                                  Not even responding to calls/responding to messages regarding the commitment.

                                  A verbal commitment that was in call conversation has been recorded, don't why these hathway is recruiting this kind of executive.

                                  Fraud and fake commitments.

                                  The worst branch is nizampet and pragati nagar.

                                    1. Though we are paying in advance for recharge, recharge gets expired, then we have to call local services provider. This is not happening at 1st time, this is problem of every month of every customer in area.

                                      The services provided by hathway is absolutely zero and they are making money by cheating customers. We have taken new connection with rs.2600 for 3 months. Right from the day till today the speed is only 5 to 30 mbps instead of 100 mbps as per commitment provided by hathway. The requests are closed without providing resolution to customers and consultating of customer. I would request people not to buy this hathway connection, this is fraud company. We have asked for refund but they are not ready to refund.
