Worst service ever. I made a huge blunder believing the fraud hathway rep and gave up my airtel connection

My internet is disconnecting, hanging up. Having to work from home with a defective connection is disgusting. I have given several complaints. Not a single person has come to fix the problem or even had any culture or decency to call and solve the problem. Hathway does not have a single phone number where customer can get any help. They have a dummy customer care number. Such a shameless company - collecting money from defective connections. They have thousand numbers for new connection and bill collection. For customers complaints and repair services - they don't have a single phone number. Only fraud companies do this.

9 days and no one has contacted me - i will not pay my bill for defective connection. I have stated in several emails to hathway that i want my connection disconnected on 15th august 2020. I will not pay my bill after 16th august 2020.

I request everyone to look up the internet before taking a hathway connect - so many horrible reviews about hathway service and refund of deposit. You will be lucky if you get it - that deposit refund is swallowed by the company.

    Refund process

    I have applied for a new gtpl broadband connection request on 06/03/2020 and make full payment online to gtpl.

    After 5 days service person said connection is not possible in my area.

    So i have applied for refund request at [protected]@gtpl.net on 17/03/2020

    As per gtpl rules, i have to wait for 45day for a refund.

    After 45day i don't get any refund

    I have tried to...

    Hathway broadband customer service agent was not helpful at all and she was not interested to help hence she transferred somewhere without my permission and disconnected while i was requesting don't do that. Please terminate her from the job. She's useless for customer service. Please audit please audit that call.

      I bought a gtpl broadband connection 2 months back. I already had a wifi router and it was during lockdown so there was no need for them to come and install. But after i changed the router and i needed to install it again, i coukd not do it myself - and i have registered multiple complaints and requests for them to come and install it, even was ready to pay for it. But they have not even responded since a month and a half.

        I stopped using hathway broadband way back in 2017, but i keep getting constantly bombarded with the promotional messages and calls from hathway agents on my personal number since. I want it to be stopped as soon as possible. It is too much fristrating. I have earlier also requested and registered my complaint, but in vain.

          I have terminated hathway broadband services 2 years ago but they are sending me sms literally everyday about their broadband offers. I called the customer care representative number that was provided in the sms, the representative spoke to me in a rude and arrogant manner.

          Sending an advertisement or promotional sms everyday is madness. Just stop sending those useless sms, not just to me but to everyone.

            I had requested for hathway broadband connection! They came and did the installation but it's been 2 days my internet has not been activated! It was supposed to get activated in 2 hours! The technician ignores my calls and cuts the calls! I've called customer care service 5 times and they haven't solved the issue!

              Please remove me from your advertisement subscriber list. I don't want to receive any promotional message from your company. I haven't had a hathway connection since 2014, but still keep getting this annoying promotional message every single day for the past 6 years.

                I am facing still picture and black screen issues on my set top box from 3 days and every single day i am complain to them regarding the issue but the customer representative is only forwading the conpalaint and not resolving the issue.                     I have been facing internet issues over 3 months in hathway and therefore have discontinued using hathway internet and want to disconnect all connections from my flat. However no one is responding to my calls or the number comes invalid and always the service request get resolved in an hour without anyone contacting me. Please disconnect everything from my flat or I'll take all router and modem for personal use to another city while moving out.

                      I am facing loss everyday due to no internet connectivity since 1 august 2020. The technician that came for giving a new connection to our neighbour ended up damaging the fibre net cable. Withhout informing us they went away on calling one of them i came to know about the situation.
                      Since that day inspite of registering a complaint with them no solution is yet provided.

                      Its already been over 4 days and there is no solution to my problem.

                          I am a hathway customer for almost 2.3 months.
                          Due to covid 19 we are working from home. Since i am using broadband the network was not good in my room where i use my desktop.

                          I thought to go for dual core of hathway and called the marketing person of the hathway. He promised that switching over dual core will ensure that the range of broad band will be high and you can do your office work easily. The marketing person told that don't disconnect your previous hathway connection untill you check and confirm that the dual core is working fine.

                          On july 3 they gave the dual core and connected it.in my desktop room i am not getting any signal of hathway and the technical team told that dual core will not have range. I contacted my marketing person he told that you can disconnect it and we will refund the entire amount rs. 6772

                          I disconnected the connection and the dual core modem was handover but i am not getting any proper response from them on my refund amount. I am planning to consumer court on the same before that i thought to share here

                            My account no [protected] i paid the amount inr 3056 and reciept no. R[protected] on 9th july, 2020. The connection was not made. I asked for the refund. It's been more than 30 days and i have not received the refund. I want my refund as soon as possible. I have sent numerous mails to them even to their nodal team, but they always say that they are working on this and then there's no response from them. They gave me an incorrect information that the area was feasible and collected the money from me.

                              I have paid 2562 for a new hathway connection as they said will give new connection within 2 hours, then they have delayed 2 more days for giving a connection so i have decided to cancel the order and asked them to provide a refund of my money, they said ok and since 4 days crossed they are not giving my money back not even responding calls and mails

                                  I am unable to browse internet since 1 week... And since then i am trying to contact your customer care service... And it is the rudest customer service I have ever seen... It take Literally 20 min to talk to them... And all they answer is we will look into it and resolve it as soon as possible... This is no joke what i am listening since 5 days... And You people say we are connecting you to higher executive and put me on hold for 20 min and then just cut my call... They don't even give me proper reason why i am not able to browse internet...
                                  I then call the person who gave me a connection... And he literally answers me as wrong number... Wow great customer service... I am unable to work since 1 week... And you are behaving so careless
                                  I AM FED UP with your service... If i am not getting a reply within 24 hours... I am officially going to file a complaint.. i have all the proofs of your customer care service people holding my calls to not answering me to Disconnecting my call on my face... I legally going to file a cheating complaint on your company and all your sales person...
                                  GET BACT TO ME AS SOON AS POSSIBLE..

                                    I am gtpl customer and on daily basis i am facing issue with speed and when i raise ticket they close it and issue still thr. Now my internet was down since 7 days and make atlest 50 calls to cust care sent multiple emails and also visited office but still issue is not resolved. I have asked for refund so they refused that we will not provide you the refund. I request you to take some action on it.

                                      Hi, since lockdown am not in bangalore so i am not recharging my connection. This information has been shared to them telephonically more than 15 times.in a day more than. 5-6 calls from different numbers and repeated messages and mails with offers are being provided. Am not in the location and why should i recharge.
                                      Post this kind of harassment i wont keep hathway as my service provider.
