Hi Team,

i am facing a big challenge with hathway broadband connection, its been 3 week since my internet is disconencting again and again.

3 days ago 2 technicians visited at my home, cheked and found my modem is having some issues and need to replace it.

Since then no one turned up to me with resolution.

Need your help on this.

    It's very irritating when you get daily at least 10 calls from Hathway broadband to renewal the internet service from one month. I have been telling to their customer service guys that,
    " I'm not going to renewal due to out of station and Current Covid'19 situation. I'm not gonna renewal for at least 3 months due to my absence at my working residence".

    I have told them more than 30 times. But their customer service act like they hear you but there is no use and unresponsive on regarding this spamming. Only due to this pathetic, senseless, most irritating customer service, I will make sure that, I will never ever take the Hathway broad band again.

    Whenever there is disruption in internet connection. On contacting them, their efforts are zero but in spamming calls, their efforts goes beyond their limits.

      I left the flat in Pune during lockdown and even when I got calls from customer care, I specified to cut the connection but still got continuous calls to recharge again and at that time no pickup of modem (device) was mentioned by the team. Now when I am not in Pune, I am getting calls for paying the fees for the modem. Please suggest as I have left the flat and city and even owner does not live there . Also it is not possible to return immediately because of Corona virus impact .

        Hi sir

        I have taken internet service for GTPL and I had taken 6 month plan for broadband connection, also for this they have charged advance.

        After this I am daily facing internet connection issue every alternate days my internet got disconnected I logged multiple complaint but there is no permanent solution.

        I feel they have charged without giving service.
        I request you to please take some action against this.

        I already tried to connect GTPL senior person manager but no content details getting from gtpl representative.

        I hope positive response from you

          I have paid around INR 3229 on 8th June 2020 towards prepayment for Hathway broadband connection for 3 months. Installation not done as I was about to occupy the residence only on 19th June. Currently I am in Coimbatore and I was about to relocate in June due to my official transfer. Unfortunately, I would like to relocate to Chennai due to Lockdown and other transportation issues.

          Hence, I have placed the request for cancellation of my broadband connection on 13th July and the customer care executive informed that it will take 15 days for processing. I called up the customer care again on 28th July to check the status and I was informed the refund process is not started.

          Besides, I am getting calls from Installation team daily for installation and I have been informing them that I have placed the request for cancellation and refund. Not sure the process being following when the refund request is placed .

          I would like to bring to your notice on this issue since I am not happy with the response time both on refund and updating the correction in the customer database.

          Can you please look into this and do the needful to process my refund immediately without any further delay.

              Hathway does not activate my internet service despite making complete payment for 6 months. My Hathway account no is [protected]. I have made 2 payments within a span of 15 days. First payment of Rs 425/- (for 1 month) on July 27th, 2020 and again Rs 2668/- (for 6 months) on August 10th, 2020 however there is no response from their end. The technician does not come nor the customer executive answers any of my queries. I have received multiple calls from different Hathway Broadband Hyderabad executives earlier to activate different plans. Their phone numbers are [protected], [protected], [protected]. It feels like they are running some kind of Scam/Fraud as they do not answer once the payment is done. I am not sure If your are aware of this but I completely feels that they are cheaters who are robbing customers hard earned money by making fake promises which they cannot deliver. If the connection cannot be given, I need total refund of the below as my account is not active and I cannot use it.

                I have placed an complaint on 8 Aug regarding my wifi being too slow since they have 72 hr policy understanding that I had called them on 11 aug which I understand is not 72 he yet however I work from home and I have lot of work which is pending due to this and i have spoken to 4 different customer service ppl and all they kept saying we will send we wll send .. and this is no the first time they did this recently when I relocated my house I had asked them to relocate my wifi as well which took abt again quite a lot of days . All they give is an monotonous answer

                  There is no internet connection. We are not able to use wifi as there is no network. We have already switched on and off multiple times but wifi is still not working. Please check this.

                    I have gtpl broadband with 40mbps plan at my home in ahmedabad, gujarat. But from last 15 days i am facing issues with connectivity of internet as the internet connectivity gets lost and then again comes back automatically after 10 mins and this happens multiple times during the day. Also the other issue which i am facing is the speed - even after taking 40 mbps plan - my speed is near 5-7mbps.

                    I registered 2 complaints and every time both the complaints were closed by gtpl team without even informing me. Still the issue is not resolved.

                    The customer care guys are very rude when they talk to their customers and everytime give the same answer - "humari technical team ne issue solve kar diya hia isliye humne yahan se aapke ticket ko close kar diya hia."

                    They do not even bother to call the customer to ask if the issue has been resolved or not.

                    During this time of corona we all are working from home an being in it industry i require high speed net connectivity but at the end i have to connect my mobile and do my work using mobile hotsopt.

                      My account number is [protected] and took a plan for 3 months subscription. After using of 1 month, i have raised a request to customer care that i don't want to use hathway service. Asked for refund but customer case has suggested me if you don't want to use our connection then no amount will be refunded to your account. So after 3 months if you will not recharge again, your account will automatically terminated. I have convinced with customer care but somehow after 3 months of my subscription they are again started messaging me if you'll not submit router then every month you need to pay off 200 rs amount for router rent but in initial time when i taken a plan of this. They clearly said that we are providing router free of cost if you will take a plan of 3 months.

                      Following are the concern need to be resolved
                      - router is free of cost with connection then why are they asking 200 rs rent for each month
                      - account is already terminated then it should not ask a single bucks
                      - i have already relocate to different city how we can communicate and process for turn of account

                        My broadband connection with the following details has not been working since march 2020:

                        I had placed lot of complaints through mails. After a lot of emails the engineer came to check the same but said that the line is a problem and the line goes through a commercial complex which will open only after lockdown that is after may tentatively. He asked me to put a complaint with customer care to provide an extension to the plan as it cannot be repaired before the lockdown, which i did multiple times. But the only reply i got from gtpl was, "cannot be extended".

                        So i had no internet till june end and im still fighting for my 2.5 months refund or extension.

                        There has been no resolution provided by gtpl till date.

                          I made a payment of around Rs2340 in April 2020, however the internet was not yet activated due to lock down. It was only on 8th June that a technician arrived and fixed it. It worked for 2 months and was deactivated on 1st August. The due date for renewal should be 8th September counting 4 months. I have been in touch with Sunil Chaugule and Dilshad Khan through emails and there has been poor response from their side. Mostly they got back using a template saying it is forwarded to the concerned department. Mr. Dilshad Khan got back on the 10th August asking to renew the account. I don'y understand t=why the account has been deactivated when it should be active. There has been no reprise from this apart from constant unnecessary email follow ups.

                            Hathway website says even sd stb provides stereo audio. But, i am receiving mono audio from my stb. This is panodic dvb c digital receiver (Stb) issued by hathway (Pune). I am using this since the last 1.5 years now, but audio quality is mono, called up customer service, but they said they have no idea if stereo mode is even available with hathway hd boxes in pune

                              I am a hathway broadband customer since last 12 years. I have always paid their bill online on time without fail. Since june i am facing frequent loss of internet connection. The net is gone for whole or half day. This happens every other day. I have repeatedly called the customer service. They open a complaint saying router is using high bandwidth it will fine till tomorrow and same thing happens. I have complained to their nodal officer 8 times, to their appellate officer 4 times and numerous times to the customer service. Now they are purposely hanging up the phone when i try to call them on their call center after listening to the complaint. Where i stay in mira road their branch office never picks up the phone. Even after facing so much harassment from their end, by bill was due on july 29. They kept calling me 10 days before every day messaging and asking me to pay the bill. I paid the bill, i pay quarterly thus i have paid for next 3 months and the amount is 1, 818 rupees. They have never followed up with serious action on my complaint, looted me off my money without providing any service. I have experienced a loss od 10k as i am working from home cause of these people. I request you to please provide me justice as these people think they are above everyone else. They won't refund my bill amount that is why i am registering the complaint here. I request you that my money is refunded and i dont want their sevice anymore. I have been through mental torture of calling them everyday and listening to my boss shout cause i was unable to do work. I hope i will get the help from you guys

                                The customer support ivr system is such that if a customer has raised an ticket they can't contact customer support anymore. And they sneakily close the existing tickets without any input from customer.

                                For example the image below:
                                1) they closed the existing ticket
                                2) when we call back they raise new ticketand again we won't be able to contact scustomer support.

                                    I had an old hathway internet connection at my home in 2015, which was discontinued after, as we were not using it. Last month i got hathway internet connection again, someone had called from hathway for setting up wifi password, i had asked that person to update my latest email id and contact number as i was not receiving any notification of payment or new connection. But till now i see that the new details are not updated in system. Also i have sent mails on email id "[protected]@hatway.net" asking for bill as i have to claim reimbursement from my office but i haven't received any reply with bill details.

                                      I have been user of Hathway broadband service in Chennai with account number [protected]. I have disconnected the service due to covid and relocated to home town and even the modem was collected back by representative in may. But, instead o[censored]pdating customer status. The service agents are calling me daily for 3 or 4 times for last 2 months and asking me to renew plan and even after my repeated responses no one updates there data sheet but blindly calling me back and sending out promotional messages & automated calls. Even, I have reached to customer support through toll free they said will update status and I will receive no further calls not nothing happened. I feel I have done mistake by opting hathway services. I'm fed up and raised a compliant to Hathway nodal officer in Chennai though mail but no response or action taken. I'm not sure why Hathway has mismanagement with no centralised tracking and data management plan.

                                      I feel employees do not know what they have to do while working for Hathway especially in Chennai location. can some one help me from Hathway neusense and teach them how to do business and deal with customer.

                                        We have installed gtpl in ahmedabad.
                                        Installation process very slow we can call may time after they install and activate...
                                        After 5-6 days internet not working.
                                        We can call toll free number and they told me temporary suspend because of payment related issue.
                                        We have payment receipt and invoice.
                                        We can call vendor to activate the can not support/ answer properly.
                                        Many time complaint but still plan deactivate.
