Sub: unauthorised transaction through my debit card no: [protected]
This refers to my online complaint lodged vide complaint no: hbl=[protected] and hbl=[protected] on september 17, 2018 for unauthorized transaction done from my debit card no: [protected] connecting to my savings account no. [protected].
In this regard, i would like to inform you that while i was travelling to chicago for my business trip on september 17, 2018 and was boarding flight emirates ek501 from chatrapati shivaji maharaj international airport, terminal 2, mumbai, i received a sms on my registered mobile number as under:
“thank you for using debit card ending 8891 for rs.17785.36 in valencia at h&m0378 on[protected]:03:40:48 avl bal: rs 1165.54”
Copy of my cardholder dispute form is enclosed herewith for your ready reference and record which i have already submitted to address given of said form.
On receipt of this message, i was shocked and surprised to see such transaction which debited the huge amount from my account no: [protected] as my debit card was in my possession at all times and i was busy with boarding formalities and had not done any such transaction. I received call from hdfc bank confirming the transaction and i immediately reverted them in denial and also asked them to block my debit card to ensure any further loss.
I hereby declare and confirm that aforesaid transaction is not done by me and is unauthorized. I request you to credit the said amount immediately to my account. Further, also request you to investigate that how such transaction was executed when my debit card was intact with me and password, cvv details or card details were never shared with anyone.
Requesting you to ensure action is taken timely to avoid any further loss and trauma to me. Hope your esteemed organization will help me to recover my hard-earned money at earliest.

Updated by NinadRaut If required, I can submit my air ticket reflectg such transaction is impossible when I am boarding flight.
