I have taken a membership subscription from the h t now from one week my hocker not deliver my news paper he is asking me to collect the paper from his shop only and he is refusing to deliver the same pl shift my member ship to another Hocker's. No.258504 which was debited to my savings a/c with corporation bank, fort branch, mumbai - 400 023 on 03.08.17 towards annual subscription of newspaper hindustan times and to my repeated enquiry till date i have not received 12 coupons.. I will appreciate your quick response

      Respected Sir,
      I enrolled my daughter to your Faridabad centre for class 9 maths. At the time of enrollment in the month of February they quoted the amount of Rs.23604/- to be paid in one go. They did not suggest the option of EMI which my daughter came to know during her classes at the centre.They forced me to pay the entire amount stating that enrolment is done only when the entire payment is made.

      On 23rd the centre head asked all the students to fetch few more students to participate in the maths tambola game which would yield prizes like a iphone, speaker and other gifts. But when she refused to come over they insisted that it was compulsory.
      On 26th April some comments were made towards her school maths teacher and her dance coach. Considering the fact that Mr.Gagandeep is a teacher himself he fails to show some sincerity and respect to fellow teachers. This topic struck my daughter very badly as she understands the value and effort put by someone who is a teacher.

      Here are few incidents which convince me strongly to ask for a refund as I cannot let her do things against her will. I know that many students also go to study mate but that does not mean that she would enjoy the environment as same as they do. Before also when I had asked them for a refund they asked me to convince my daughter which I profusely did but how long can I go about convincing her ???

      I request you to please refund the remaining amount after deducting as per your Terms and Conditions and I hope my concerns will be answered as soon as possible.

      Looking forward for a quick and immediate response in terms of refund of my amount.

        Hi,

        This is S.M.Sharma from Delhi. These guys had also taken money from us for renewal of susbcription but have never given the coupons.

        We have complained via Phone and email to customer relations desk of the hindustan times but they are not responding.

        The money was taken by them end of 2015 and the delivery of the coupons/paper has been pending since 1.5 years now.

        If anyone is reading this from hindustan times please help, others please suggest ways to make our voices heard.

          This is to bring to your notice that my subscription for Hindustan Times newspaper has still not been renewed so far and my subscription is due for renewal in the month of April. You people have troubled me a lot this time with your harassing services. I have issue a cheque to your executive on 12th March for Rs. 899/- and still it has not been presented in the bank. When will I be receiving coupons.

          All this started in the month of January when I issued a cheque for renewal but it bounced due to insufficient funds as you people take one month of processing time. Thereafter I spoke to Sonia in your customer care and she told me that I cannot make online payment since there is a different criteria and cited cheque bounce as the reason. She further told me that executive is not available for cheque collection and I can handover the cheque to my vendor who delivers newspaper. So, I did the same and issued a cheque in the month of February (7th of the month)

          Again I got a call from your executive on 12th March saying that the cheque was too old and vendor deposited the same in the company very late so I have to issue a new cheque. Finally I issued a cheque on the same date for Rs 899/-. Once more on 19th March I received a call from one of your executive saying that my cheque has bounced and he wants to return the cheque to me and I will have to issue a new cheque. He asked me the address mentioning that he will come and never called back or visited. I have checked my bank account statement and there is no update regarding cheque bounce. Your cheque collection executives are non sense and dumb people who have incomplete information and harass the customer.

          I think that have you people taken an oath to trouble me to the maximum extent possible. I want to know the status of my subscription via mail or call by competent person at the earliest failing which I will discontinue with the newspaper because I am fed up with you people and your poor and harassing services.

            I m janak a pandya residing at 1002, parswa shreyas, carter road no. 9, borivali-east, mumbai-400066.

            I have made annual subscription by cheque of rs. 799 & same was debited on 10 th march.

            I received coupon for the same on 25th march. However, unfortunately coupons are misplaced at my house & so i could not hand over to my news paper vendor.

            I now request u to kindly issue duplicate coupons or cancel my subscription & refund the amt.

            Pl do the needful at the earliest.

              I and my father deposited rs.12000/- and rs. 10, 000/- as fdr fix eposited on 1.4.1997 and duke date was 1.4.1998. Since then today 19 years are over company is not refunding our money which we saved hardly.
              This complaint is forward to company law board, ministry of corporate affairs

              Company law board is helping for refunding the fdrs.

                Hi,

                I had subscribe for 1yr in July 16 by paying Rs760/- & till 2nd April hv got the newspaper. But now vendor is saying that I need to pay Rs30/month as handling charges otherwise he will not deliver the newspaper.
                On other side about 2-3months back I got call from HT customer care that I am. It reqd to pay any handlingcahrge.

                Pl confirm what actually the reality is & how u will ensure that my annual subscription is honoured without any disturbance.

                  On 12.03.2017 I had issued State Bank of India cheque no. 264102 dated 12.03.2017 for subscribing for Hindustan Times newspaper for twelve months. Form No.[protected] dated 13th March 2017.

                  I have received 12 months coupons by speed post today on 30th March 2017.

                  Please note that I had not received Hindustan Times newspaper in months of February 2017 and March, 2017.

                  Coupond contain note, which say, "Please handover this coupon to your vendor after receiving Hindustan Times for the month". Because every coupon is due on 16th day of month, the coupons for 12 months shall be:
                  From "Due on 16-May-2017" [ for supply of Hindustan newspaper from 15th April to 16th May of 2017] to "Due on 16-April -2018" [ for supply of Hindustan newspaper from 15th March to 16th April of 2018].

                  You have issued Two incorrect coupons "Due on 16-March-2017"[ for supply of Hindustan newspaper from 15th February to 16th March of 2017] and "Due on 16-April -2017" [ for supply of Hindustan newspaper from 15th March to 16th April of 2017]. These coupons cannot be used, because the period had already lapsed and I have not received Hindustan Times newspaper.

                  How can you issue backdated coupons for months for which I had not received Hindustan Times news paper. It amounts to fraud and cheating consumer.

                  Please collect these two coupons issued for wrong period. Please note that on 12.03.2017 I had issued State Bank of India cheque no. 264102 dated 12.03.2017 for subscribing for Hindustan Times newspaper for twelve months and this cheque was deposited by you on 22.03.2017 and you stated in Email dated 22.03.2017 that the coupons will be delivered as per the time frame i.e within 21 working days post cheque realization. This means the coupons were to be received by 15th April 2017. How can you issue me coupons for supply of Hindustan Times in the period 16th Feb to 15 April 2017 ?

                  I have received valid coupons of 10 months only and you shall issue remaining two months coupons "Due on 16-March-2018"[ for supply of Hindustan newspaper from 15th February to 16th March of 2018] and "Due on 16-April -2018" [ for supply of Hindustan newspaper from 15th March to 16th April of 2018].

                  Please collect wrongly issued two coupons and issue Two coupons for correct months as stated above.

                    15 more days, Is this a joke?

                    What the hell is going on?

                    If I try calling your customer care, they are least bothered, they hung up on the customers face or make an excuse I will investigate and callback in exactly 30 mins.

                    30 HOURS LATER: I callback, same excuse with another agent.

                    30 HOURS LATER: Agents doesn't know to use their phone, they don't even realise, call has been answered, after hearing all their personal crap, amongst themselves, for 3 mins while the customer is still waiting for the agent to say Hello, dear customer, how may I help you. They hang up without giving a call opening.

                    After giving up trying to call you, if I email you, 15 MORE DAYS...

                    I HAVE OTHER THINGS TO DO IN MY LIFE. RATHER WRITING AND TRYING TO CONTACT YOU EVERYDAY.

                    MARCH 8, 2017 WAS WHEN I MADE AN ONLINE PAYMENT.

                    Looks like I will to have to advertise about this incident in a better newspaper.

                    If I want to cancel the subscription now, because of your incompetency and your attitude of not bothering about customers, how soon will I get my refund???

                    15 days or 150 days???

                    I need to talk to someone in-charge, a superior. Please call me on my registered mobile number or give me an email address to write to.

                      I renewed my subscription for hindustan times on 18-02-17. But I have still not received the coupons. Now when I am calling the customer care they are saying that my mobile number is not registered and the form number which I am telling is not registered with them.
                      I face this problem during every renewal. As soon as the subscription comes to an end your agent comes to collect the cheque very well on time. I think collecting money is the only thing which you people do very well.

                      It is a very mental harrassment by the vendor . As he is the sole vendor in this area as it seems to me . My Father is a seniour citizen and reads newspaper on daily basis .                       I had made the payment of Rs.499 by cheque against serial no. HH 7715339. I haven't received any coupon s yet and customer care is not answering my calls.
                      As till date it has been more than 20years we have been reading this eestemed newspaper .                         I am resident of Noida mobile no- 874****862, email ID- diwakar.bhel.[protected]@gmail.com and let me describe the details in chronological order in brief :-
                        1. I had constantly got call for coupon subscription from HT around 8-10 times for subscribing for coupon before issuing of cheque.
                        2. I issued cheques in Dec-16 to HT times representative and cheques of Rs 899 & Rs 599 cleared on 04/01/17 & 16/01/17 respectively.
                        3. I had received an SMS on 16/01/17 for delivery of HT subscription coupons by BSA courier. (Tracking no- RA3231752)
                        4. Then, I called HT customer service again. This time it was told to me that coupon was sent early hence it has been recalled from courier and will again be sent soon after January-17 i.e. during 1st week of February-17.
                        5. I called again around mid-Feb to HT CS as coupons were not yet received. This time they told me as courier agency (BSA courier) could not deliver your coupons and they will send it through rider within a week.

                        As described above, I have been following up for coupons for last three months & last time I called customer care on 02/03/17. This time, i have been given coupons nos. by HT executive as 17R0005527 & 17R0014522 for english & hindi newspaper respectively. The HT CS executive told me that they had dispatched coupons to the area in charge Mr. Sunil Choudhary (contrary to sending it through rider as earlier promised) & he will give it to the vendor. Vendor could not able to get from Mr Sunil Choudhary whose contact no was not shared with me for unknown reasons. My news paper vendor Mr Suresh, told me that I should have given cheques to him directly not to the HT representative as they are fooling customers, however he ensured that he will try again to get my coupon from HT area in charge.

                        It is also a noticeable fact that I have not got any single call from either from HT or any courier agency till date to inquire whether I have received coupons or not. Ironically, I got several call from HT for subscription until i issued cheques.

                          I have an annual payment plan for HT+Mint starting Dec 2016. Recently the delivery has been irregular. Yesterday papers came late only after sending an SMS. Today no paper has been delivered. Vendors phone and SMS gave no response. Phone nO provided by HT Subs ([protected]) neither recd the call nor attended to SMS. This is bad and needs to be attended ASAP. Otherwise my money paid for a full year is not giving me the promised newspapers.

                            The newspaper was not given for last 4 to 5 days. My subscription is wef may 2016 to april with 2 months bonus upto June 2017. Please direct the distributer to supply the newspaper. As it very important for all o[censored]s to read read the newspaper regarding new vacancy coming out for jobs. So please see to the problem. Its very important for us to read newspaper.

                                  This is rajkumar sharma having office at, "professional associates" shop no. 34, sai dham society, hanuman nagar, kandivali east mumbai 400101.
                                  I say that i had obtain your subcription coupon 43744759 in the month of march, 2016 and recived the sms confirmation on dated 23.03.2016 and my free gift was sent through couirer awb no. [protected].

                                  I further say that since then i have not recived my coupon and that came into the result that my vendor had stop my services and i have not recived my paper since last six month.

                                  I further say that with this regard i spoke to one of your ht head i guess supervisor having cell no. [protected], i don't no his name he never disclosed about this same even i asked about lot. He assured me that my problem will be resolve as of my i dont know that how you gyus are resloving problem and that almost my year subcribtion going to over but you can't find my detail.
                                  I feel very asshmed that yesterday i recived msg from your sever about renewl pf subcription.

                                  Today i am filling this written complaint beacuse no budy is piking my call.
                                  Please suggest me what to do or else i should approch the consumer forum.

                                    My friend lives in hyderabad she told me about the unfavourable behaviour of the members of society in which she lives her dog has given birth to 7 puppies and the building members are creating issues giving them warnings to shift them on road just because they are stray dogs and they had done an attempt to killed the dog but somehow dog escaped she is in critical condition they had filed FIR against them but no legal action has been taken

                                      My newpaper vendor has charged us for the month of Jan’17 stating that our yearly subscription is over. He told us, he will stop delivering the newspaper to us if do not pay him.

                                        I am living in a society flat at jal vayu towers sector 56 gurgaon. I have been reading your paper ht for the last 30 years. Your vendor has started charging labour charges rs.20/- p. M. Which i protested and not paid and he has stopped supplying paper at my flat. From that day onwards. There are 1000 flats in our society andi am launching a protest and boycotting your paper. I complained to you earlier but of no avail. Please start supply of paper at actual cost to residents at the earliest in order to stop protest.

                                        Please arrange to start supply at the earliest or I will switch over to Times of India paper.This I will have to admit mornings are different from the last 15 days...
                                        Newspaper vendor was demanding for a coupon... Although we have already given him the coupon... And he was uttering rubbish to me... This is not the way to talk with someone... Some action should be taken towards him so that from next time he'll be in his limits ..!
