I am using an Amazon pay icici card, and for the last month, I earned more than 10000 rewards points.
The customer support kept saying different issues everytime.
Initially they said that this is a backend issue which will be resolved in 3 days.
Then they said Amazon has put this on hold.
Finally they said that as the reward points are over 10000, they put the reward points on hold for an investigation if the card has been used for business purposes and this would take 10 business days and after that I will get the balance in my account.
First of all this is not mentioned anywhere in any document. Even if I agree that this is a policy, the problem is even after waiting for 10 days, I have not received the balance.
The bank's customer support is awful and a waste of time. I always felt Icici bank was one of the best banks in the country, but honestly this is one of the worst experiences I have had with a bank.
