Hi,
I received a mail stating the charging from ICICI Bank if I don't maintain my MAB. I have several issues/doubts/questions regarding the same-
1) My ICICI Bank Account was created in November of 2015, and it was my salary account. During that time, it was stated that I would not have to maintain any MAB for my account (it was a Zero Balance Account). But recently, I have been getting emails from ICICI Bank stating that I will have to maintain my MAB; otherwise, I will be charged for the same
2) I have not been maintaining my MAB for years now, then why am I suddenly being harassed for the same? This is reaching a tipping point wherein I will be now forced to end my more than 5 years of relationship with ICICI Bank. I had called the customer care today morning (which again takes a lot of good fortune to get hold of) and the executive was asking me to go to my nearest branch during the pandemic in order to get this issue resolved
3) Previously, I have been harassed by deducting INR. 826 as Demat charges for which I was again directed to go to my nearest branch! It has become a joke at this point when all other corporations are doing everything online. I am sorry to say my trust and fondness for ICICI is slowly evaporating, if at all left
It goes without saying that I need this resolved ASAP failing which I will be permanently leaving the services of the bank and will go to one of its many competitors where customer service is still existent and customers are treated as being more than just a means to make money!
