With reference to sb account number[protected] with icici kharagpur branch. I had submitted a level 1 complaint from the website. This account was opened with false promises of ffd interest and nothing of that sort has been provided. Further, i already have an existing account[protected] with the same bank branch, despite that this account was opened.
When i said to decrease mab of my existing accounts, they said that downgrading of accounts is not possible.in no other banks, this sort of things are done.
During opening of accounts, they agree to everything, we had requested them for family banking, but, they did not do the same either.
The bank executives are more interested in increasing mab of account balances which carry more balances, do fds (These fds are put to auto renew mode without asking permission of the customers), make sips (When customers ask for 12 month sip, they do it for unlimited) and push demat accounts to those customers who do not require the same.
The cash deposit machine installed does not work most of the time as it is full, there is no one to see and correct the same on time. Even when the bank is closed, the machine is in same position. There is only one cash counter in the bank branch, where all types of deposits are accepted including insurance and large deposits, here also some preferred and big customers are given preference. On 17.10.2019 i had to stand in line for half an hour from 2.15 to 2.45 to deposit cash. Even govt. Banks dont take that much of time. Peons are doing entries in insta banking and bank staffs responsible to help customers are sitting and passing time.
The customers do not get any benefit, their funds are blocked by unnecessary increase of mab. Despite being a 10 year old customer of the bank, this sort of fraud is done with us, wonder what they would do with common people.
I want to close the account[protected] immediately and transfer the funds to the existing account. Further, i also want the mab of all my accounts to reduce at the earliest, otherwise i would close all my accounts with immediate effect because i dont wish to continue with the bank which is not able to provide quality service, despite keeping all my funds here.
