My wife has an account with icici bank burari delhi. We purchased an old car and financed the same with other bank. For the finance formality, we were supposed to give two blank cheques to the financier and when we checked we were left with one cheque only, we checked the icici website link https://www.icicibank.com/service-charges/common-service-charges.page where it was mentioned that you can get loose cheque leaves issued (5 no.) at rs.25 each leaves, we visited the bank and they refused the same to us, we told them our urgency and they asked us to visit the manager, we requested the same to him and he started inquiring that where we have taken the loan from and what is the interest rate etc, finally he said that due to diwali we have the shortage and you can visit any other branch and request them. It was really very discouraging but we thought lets go by procedure then, we requested the cheque book by net banking on 26th october 2019, and we got the message that your cheque book is sent through courier bookmypacket.com and they gave us the reference number too, when we checked online on 29 oct 2019 we came to know that our cheque book is out for delivery but since then there is no delivery till 31st oct 2019 morning 10.30 am. We visited the bank again and we were again refused for loose cheques due to which delivery of our car was postponed again. When we asked the bank persons to give us the courier company address, bank people said that they are going to send and email to the courier company and once they will reply only then we can say that when you will get the cheque book. It is really harassing the way bank is behaving with us, also they have no control over the courier company and i felt that they themselves our helpless. Poor service by icici bank and pity on their customers. We might charged for the parking by the car selling company, we only had a request for loose cheques but since 26 oct 2019 we have running to get it. Till now at 6.00 pm we have not received the cheque book.
