This is in reference of an erroneous transaction done by me. I am an axis bank account holder, on 3rd may 2019 i was supposed to transfer inr 80000 to icici account no[protected] in the name of ritu ohri but by mistake the amount was transferred to account no[protected] in the name of sandeep himalayan both residents of panchkula & zirakpur respectively. The accounts of both of them was in icici zirakpur branch.

As it was late in the evening when the transaction was done, the next day i went to axis bank branch in saket, delhi and gave a request letter to reverse the same transaction (Copy attached). As per axis bank staff they submitted the request same day and amount of inr 80000 was put on hold in the account of mr sandeep himalayan in icici bank which was later verified by me when i visited icici branch personally.

I used to call everyday to icici customer care to which they said it will take max 45 days to reverse the transaction and i wasn't given any complaint number nor any resolution as they said i didn't had an account with their bank. I also visited the bank branch is delhi and haldwani to which i was told max 45 days money will be reversed in my account.

In between i spoke to mr pradeep in the icici branch in zirakpur through a reference of a common friend, to which i was told he will take care of the issue but no resolution was given to me.

In the month of june i specially visited to zirakpur branch to find out the issue. The staff in the branch mr sohan told me that they are not able to get in touch with mr sandeep himalayan as his number in his account details is not reachable. I was given his numbers so that i also keep following up.

70 days later - again finally on 11th july 2019, i again visited the branch this time to get it resolved anyhow. I was told that the customer of the branch mr sandeep himalayan was not reachable on his number and also the staff tried reaching his residential address where they found noone and they are not staying at the mentioned address. To which mr sohan said he has returned the complaint to his corporate office and they will reverse the transaction in next 45 days.

Finally sitting for sometime in the branch, i took the address of mr sandeep himalayan and visited his house which was hardly 2 kms and 5 mins from the branch. To my astonishment i found that the entire family lived there. I met his mother, i sat for sometime in their house and she gave me the current active number of mr sandeep. This clearly showed that staff of the branch didnt made any effort to find the whereabouts of their branch customer to resolve my complaint.

After speaking to mr sandeep over the phone, he assured me to give the letter required by the branch that this money didnt belong to him and it can be reversed. He gave the letter to the branch on 16th july 2017. Its been 33 days since then, till now i have not received my money of inr 80000.

Its been 106 days since the complaint was given and the account was put on hold for inr 80000. Even after regular follow ups and visiting the branch, the issue has not been resolved.

I have few questions for the authorities of icici bank -
1. Is there any specified time limit of time for the issue to be resolved. It was mentioned 45 days. Firstly after submitting my complaint on 4th may i was told 45 days, then after branch finding no whereabouts of mr sandeep they said in 45 days money will be reversed.
2. I can actually see and feel no effort was made from branch end to find the whereabouts of mr sandeep, which i had to personally do. This was duty of the bank which was not performed as it should have been.
3. This payment was due to ms ritu and was delayed long from banks end. I had to bear a lot of cost to borrow this money and pay her which has even spoiled the relationship. Who will compensate??
4. I have travelled to zirakpur twice, visited delhi where i submitted my complaint. Who wil compensate??
5. The mental harassment to get back my money since 3 and half months. Who will compensate??

Looking for a resolution as early as possible.

Rupees 413 is deducted twice from my account stating "etsrtn charges"..please advise why is this happening multiple times in the same month??

    I hav submitted my pan card photocopy with icici bank cooch behar branch on 4th august with an application for removal of debit freeze and updation of my account from minor to major. I have been to the bank for almost 10-12 times.. Each time i visit the branch, the deputy manager incharge keep saying that the records have been sent to the headoffice in hyderabad. Till now there is no response recieved. Its still not infreezed. Does it really takes this much time to just unfreeze an account. Visiting bank for 15 days isnt that easy for someone. I have got many more works to do throughout the day. Hope the bank gets to know about it. And my account gets unfreeze soon.

    There is a monthly deduction of INR 29.50 happens from my account. I am not sure what this is for as I never subscribed for this. If I have subscribed then I need an evidence of this otherwise I need the complete deducted amount from my account since day 1.

      From long time, i'm not receiving the otp for any online transactions. I contacted thrice the bank they advise me to check with my telecom service provider. I checked there and there are not any blockage from there side.
      I'm living in bahrain. The customer service advised me to visit the branch. How can i visit? Icici fails to resolve my issue and still i'm failed to do any transaction online except internet banking which i don't like to use.

        This is sumit burman from kolkata. My registered mobile no. Is [protected]. I have one loan whose emi gets deducted every month from my salary account which is in your bank. This month it has already got deducted. But suddenly last day i. E. On 16th august, 2019 an ecs charge of rs.472 had been deducted from my account which was not supposed to deduct. Please look at the matter and resolve it as soon as possible. Looking for your sincere cooperation.

            I have came for change in my name as it has space in between like phani kiran which should be changed to phanikiran. I have taken a pan card with me which is a valid prrof. Such a stupid branch it asks me for another proof. Pan card is the one which i have given at the time of submission and these guys give me reason that how i would know that is that you. Then if that is the case my pan card will have my photo. Can't they know this. Such a lame excuse to change name if it is not my primary branch...

              Sir i am ajay so/o ram dulare. I had need of loan but due to some problems my file had reject.
              After some times received a male that loan is sension and i have to pay emi but how is possible that without any physical verification bank will b provide loan. It is totally fraud.
              It isfraudd by bank and loan agent.
              They have used my documents with bank employee.
              I have not get any type of loan.
              . It is totally scam

                  This is the third time i am raising the complaint for the same issue of ecs charges where, as i received my money in transaction for some important work the bank doesn't even text message me and on top of that the bank takes my money for ecs charges for month of june where i had already closed the ecs from icici undri branch, this bank os is a liar and a thief as i was promised previously by an advisor that i won't be charged again for ecs then what is this? I want my whole rs. 2500 revised to my account.

                    My wife is working in icici bank kolkata, 6 months passed after applying transfer request on marriage ground but she still not get transfer to mumbai where i work.

                    Branch head daily used to torture and mentally harras her.
                    Branch head finally told her yesterday that i will make sure that u will not get transfer and you will die here, i will spoil your life.
                    This is not good, it's a crime.
                    Kindly help me in the matter.

                      I tried debiting ₹10k from a local punjab & sind bank using my icici debit card on 12 aug, 2019. The machine didn't provided money but i got money deduction message from icici. I submitted service request to the company, visited a local icici branch, called customer service representative, but still not get refund. Please refund my money. Thank you

                        Am an icici bank customer. From january onwards some amount is deduct from my account like ecsrtnchg charged 413 rupees. I don't know what the charges ecsrtnchg... They the bank hit the charges without my knowledge and without any confirmation email or sms or any phone call. Please explain what the charge it is. This type direction is not good please return my charged amount.

                          icici card blocked for online transactions

                          I am using icici bank debit card for the past one
                          Year. One week before, i used my card for online purchase and i entered 3d secure pin wrong 3 times.
                          I got a message saying that my card is blocked from 3d secure online transaction and asked me to contact customer. But, when i tried to call customer care no., every time only ivr ply on. Please help me to unblock my debit card for online transaction....

                          I was using credit card of icici bank before 3 years but when i when i received unauthorized charges on my card in december 2016 then on 29 dec 2016, i requested customer care to close my account. I paid all my balance dues & closed my account & destroyed the credit card.
                          In april 2019, i received a mail containing bill of rs. 29.50, even after too many mails communication, i didn't received any positive response. Then i visited to icici branch in noida & got my credit card number as well. They suggested me to pay rs. 30 in branch & later on request to close the account.
                          Now i am getting a bill of rs.118. (The outstanding id due to cash payment at bank). No help received from bank & customer care as well. Now i have paid all outstanding amount but these all were unauthorized. No-one in branch told me that penalty will be lived for cash payment. Totally disappointed with services with icici bank credit cards.

                              dr tran for funding iwish a/c

                              I opened iwish deposit account, and i am seeing the 5000rs transferred to someother deposit account dr tran, what the hectic, how its happening without my knowledge. 5000rs my two weeks salary... This is insane... I didnt expect this from icici bank.. I am using icici account for past 7 years. Now i am frustrated to close the account a/c[protected]. Please someone solve my problem... I am not a rich guy to fund everyone. This is unlawful...

                              I ordered a phone online for 25, 999 on 18th july using icici credit card & cancelled immediately. The amount for the same has been refunded on 19th july. But in my current statement icici charged rs 750+135 gst as late payment saying they wont consider refund as a payment & they asking i should have paid 25, 999 again to avoid late payment fee, how on the world is this fair? This is literally shocking from icici. If you are not cancelling the late payment fees, i have write this to banking ombudsman & all other legal way possible.

                              You have given [protected]@icicibank.com as mail address it doesn't seems right. I googled & mailed to both [protected]@icicibank.com and [protected]@icicibank.com but both failed stating incorrect mail address.

                                I have been deducted an amount of 1, 899.00 on 08 aug 2019 with the details mentioning: wpp-sr[protected]new policy. From my icici bank account

                                I have not authorized, neither am aware of any such approvals for the deduction.

                                Utter crap of icici bank to do such activities without my consent.
                                Revert the money back to my account at the earliest.

                                  I have applied for credit card and also got mail that my card been approved. But due to some wrong number update i was unable to receive any call or sms about my credit card status. So when contacted customer cared they provided tracking details of blue dart courier. When visited blue dard they said card has been sent back to new delhi,, so request is to re dispatch the credit card delivery again.. My mobile number is [protected]. Card num is [protected]

                                    Noticed that there is renewal deduction of rs 1899 in the month of june'19. When i looked at last year statement 2018 found that there is subscription charges for oneassit levied. This is joint account and primary account holder is my wife. Since we never requested icici for oneassist subscription and there deduction of 1899 for subscription as well as renewal. This account is not in use so we didn't notice deduction.
