On october 16th, 2017 around 12:30 am ist, i received 4 text messages to my registered mobile number from icici stating that a total amount of rs 40400 has been debited from my account. I got panicked and i decided to check my account balance via online banking facility. To my shock, i realised it was indeed true and a total amount of rs 40400 was debited from my account within a space of few minutes. I immediately tried to reach icici customer services, but to my suprise i iearnt that there were no services provided beyond 6 pm ist.
I waited till that morning (Oct 16th) to have my complaint (Sr[protected] registered. I was asked to provide some mandatory documents and other personal details.in addition to this, i was also asked to raise a complaint with the police department.
On reaching out to the concerned police department, i was ordered to get the footage of the atm center from where the money was debited. They were adamant that they wouldn’t proceed further with my complaint without the footage. I then reached out icici pallikaranai (Kancheepuram district) branch to get the footage, but i was informed that to get the fir copy from the police department. I was made a scapegoat and was kicked to and fro between the icici bank and the police department without any developments. I made multiple followups without any update or improvements.
Finally on oct 27th, i got a call from icici investigation team that they have sent the footage to the respective pallikaranai branch. Unfortunately the video sent wasn’t working and i asked the investigation team to resend the footage. The resent footage wasn’t also working and i was asked to contact the investigation team for further details. I wasn’t properly directed in any of the steps causing me mental stress. On monday, oct 30, i was informed that the video footage was working and was asked to vist the branch.
It has been more than 2 weeks and i am yet to get the response. Moreover i was not able to celebrate diwali due to this mental stress. I have totally lost my fatih in icici who seems to self claim that they provide the best security services in india.
Moreover i also came across various fraudulent complaints with icici. They are zero percent customer friendly and they are not caring towards any of the user complaints.

Complaint marked as Resolved I have followed the customer care and bank officer. ICICI INVESTIGATION team contacted me. I verified the footage and raised police compliant. Within 7th day amount refunded by bank without any notification. I received normal text message as amount credited. Later on received a amount refunded message
