Me and my wife have a joint account (Ending with xxxxx6629) with icici bank (No.5, 80 feet road, 7th block, koramangala, bengaluru, karnataka 560095). This account has been opened for recurring deposit and sold to us mentioning that it is a zero balance account.

On 1st october 2017, i have deposited some amount of money but within seconds rs.26000 has been deducted from the account mentioning various mab charges + gst starting from september 2012. Further i had a discussion with icici customer care, they mentioned that i have not maintained minimum balance hence they have deducted the charges. After the discussion they told that they will reverse me 3 latest charges and they have authority to do only 3 and i need to contact home branch for the further reversal. When i visited home branch, they asked me to maintain the balance for 6 months to consider any reversal.

As per the rbi guidelines (Rbi/2014-15/308 dbr. Dir. Bc. No.47/13.03.00/2014-15, ref no. Dbod. Dir. Bc. 53/13.10.00/2002-03) and the terms and conditions mentioned in icici website (Attached the screen shot of the policies) states that
"with effect from april 1, 2015:in the event of non-maintenance of minimum mab, the bank will notify the customer by sms/e-mail/ letter etc. That in the event of the minimum balance not being restored in the account in the subsequent month, non-maintenance of mab charges will be applicable.
In case the customer has not maintained mab for any consecutive month, non-maintenance of mab charges shall be applicable for all consecutive months. The bank will notify the customer in the initial month only in case of non-maintenance of mab in consecutive months. It will be the responsibility of the customer to have a valid e-mail id, mobile number and address updated with the bank at all times, failing which, customer may not receive the notification (S)."

So below are the two ways bank need to inform me about the non-maintenance of minimum balance before deducting any mab charges.

1. The bank will notify the customer by sms/e-mail/ letter etc. If minimum balance not being restored in the account.
2. The bank will notify the customer in the initial month in case of non-maintenance of mab

Icici bank failed two do the both options till 30th september 2017 and deducted me a lump sum amount within a day. During the discussion with the branch manager, i came to know that they failed to follow any rules and they are not able to provide any valid justifications/evidences on the deduction of the charges. The bank is violating the rbi guidelines and the terms and conditions mentioned in icici website and exploiting the customers.

Recently I moved to UK but did not update UK's mobile number to receive OTP. All the OTPs goes to registered mobile number.
Could you please let me know how can I receive OTP in my UK number?

    My order on 27-9-17 payment not converted in EMI yet plz solve the problems

    About 3 weeks before I have applied for credit card.Till not received.I have received the meseges like The credit card has been sent via Blu dart courier. But after that aroound 1 day have passed. message shown consignee not available but not a single call. then call to customer care then told address not proper so that talk to bank.
    I m using my credit card however my out standing amount is 0 n still bank has charged penalty on my card. Whenever bank has issued me card that time there was no yearly charged that was wrong commitment from the bank employee. I will not pay any charges at all.

      Hi,
      I have an icici credit card: [protected] and have paid a total outstanding of 25994/- on 3rd october 2017.
      The information is not updated in cibil which is further hampering my cibil score and i am unable to apply for any kind of loans due to this.
      I even asked and registered a complaint on their website and still no reply.

      @ICICI Please provide a no-dues certificate if the cibil update would take time.

            My credit card number is [protected]

            On 6th october 2017, i received an sms from ad - icicib that the refund amount of inr 10764.91 is credited back to your credit card from amazon sellers services. The balance in the credit before the amount to be credited was 1, 13, 429.82 instead of 1, 24, 194.73, that what my balance should be on the credit card.

            But today morning recharged my mobile with inr 549 and found the balance to be 1, 12, 880.82. I thought it will be credited but later today 7 october 2017 in afternoon received sms citing that inr 10764.91 has been converted into emi on 6th october 2017. I was shocked as the credit card statement is generated on 8th of every month.

            Secondly, i called up the call center he tells me to wait for two days. After two days my credit statement will be generated. Please credit the amount and bring the balance beyond 1, 22, 000 out of 1, 28, 00 credit. That's what i understand the meaning of credit.

            Refunded not credited back to the credit card but instead emi is levied and on the other hand, another credit card is on the way and even there share the pin of it before the credit card is delivered.

              To day i visited icici tilaknagar chembur mumbai branch for change of address with the following document bank passbook. Postpaid mobile latest bill. Which are approved by govt of india. The concerned person told to manager in turn replied the proofs submitted are not acceptable and i can tell my son who is working in bkc treasury branch to raise a complaint. I never referred my son for this matter. They have some prejudice which my son clarified earlier in this matter. Really i know icici service is worst. For my son's sake having account. The mode of reply is harsh by the manager make me to quit the bank. The same person replied one customer previous to me dont disturb. This matter will be raised to ombudsman and the details if the id proof will be referred to finance department. Fir clarification

                  The worst services have ever receive from you. The credit card services are not worth it, last year only they give me credit card but they didnt give me the pin yet i have not use that card from when i had received it but than also you are charging some amount with loads of interest which actually very disappointed.

                    Hi team,

                    I would like to know the status of the service request #[protected].

                    I am briefing the issue one more time for better understanding and record keeping purpose.

                    Background : -

                    On 1st oct 2017 @ 9:01am (As per entry gate cctv footage) i had been to gopalan sports center, basavana nagar, hoodi, bengaluru - 48, to participate in the sportzify "clash of titans" corporate badminton tourney. I was there in the premises till 6:00pm of the evening, though the tourney got over around 4pm as i was practicing table tennis over there. Cctv footage of the sports center confirms my physical presence in premises.

                    Issue statement :-

                    # 1 : while i was taking part in the event, someone had stolen my icici bank debit card on 01-oct 2017 and managed withdraw cash from my account of rs. 40, 000.00 @ 5:45pm and rs. 10, 000.00 @ 5:46pm. I had raised a complaint disputing these transactions as unauthorized as these were neither done by me nor with my knowledge. Also i did not share my atm pin with anyone else till date. Being a responsible and long term customer to icici (More than 11 years with my best knowledge) i am very well aware of the policies that pin and passwords should never be shared with anyone and i adhere to that.

                    # 2 : they even managed to de-register my registered mobile number from the account for which i had received an sms alert on same dat2 @ 6:03pm, the same was carried out without my knowledge as well. As per the customer care people the phone number updated was - "[protected]" which belongs to just dial. Not sure how could one register such a number which belongs to no one. Also wondering why the system didn't verify the number before getting updated on the records/account.

                    # 3 : i reached home that day around 7:00pm and realized from the sms alert that my mobile number got de-registered, i suspected as something went wrong as it was not done by me and understood the loss of rs. 50000.00 which was withdrawn from my account. Immediately without any delay i had raised a dispute with customer care team and requested them to block my account in all means to stop further damage, sr #[protected] for reference.

                    # 4 : while i was trying to understand the process in this case on what and all i need to pursue, i was told by the customer care executive to reach the bank as the first thing and
                    A. Raise a request to change mobile number to receive further communications.
                    B. Submit the proof of presence in the premises, postpaid phone bill copy and if registered fir for the incident/fraud took place whatever were available.
                    C. Fill and submit the customer dispute form.

                    Since the next day was 2nd oct and bank holiday i was asked to visit the branch on 3rd oct morning and submit the proofs. As suggested i was at my account home branch - "icici bank, 27th main, hsr layout, bangalore -102" by 9:30am and explained the whole story one more time and submitted the proofs. That time i told them that i was in touch with mahadevapura police station (Incident took place in that ps limits) and in the process of getting the fir copy, upon receiving same shall submit it. They didn't ask for any further details.

                    # 5 : while i was trying to understand from the customer care executive while raising the complaint on what means he could access my account and was there any other actions performed by him and all to check audit trail, i was told by the executive that necessary investigation would take place in next 15 days of time i will be informed based on the report. Even i asked them atm details since it was a atm withdrawals. They informed that it was from icici bank, 496 salarpuria house, cmh road, indira nagar, bangalore - 38.

                    My concerns :-

                    # 1 : please note my email was in tact in the account as i received the sr for blocking the account, however i didn't receive any email communication regarding the complaint raised - sr #[protected] till date, may i know why?

                    # 2 : from the customer care and branch people got to know on 4th oct that request was closed on 03-oct only, however i had no clue on the same on what resolution or justification the request was closed, may i know why i was not contacted prior to closing the complaint whether i was satisfied with the justification?

                    # 3 : when customer complains that the transactions were fraudulent and unauthorized, what kind of investigation was done from your end apart from closing the request as pin-based secure transaction. Please note even i was aware that they logged in to the atm through pin and my complaint was the same on what means as i had never met or seen the person.

                    # 4 : how could someone update the mobile number in the account to some number that to another organization customer care number, which is not ideal to receive any otp's. Why the system didn't validate the number whether it was valid or not by sending otp which is icici bank regular practice?

                    # 5 : when i requested for what all actions were performed why the same was not shared with customer? I am not asking for anyone else, i am asking for details from my own account and being a privilege customer its my right to get the details.

                    Please note i was not the only victim one more person lost his debit card i (Axis bank) in the same premises and his atm pin got re-generated prior to withdrawing 50k from his account. Moreover the same culprit had done the similar fraud in hyderabad from stolen icici & axis bank atms.

                    Using the cctv cameras we could identify the person and handed over the proofs to the police with reference to fir # "0523/2017" on 04/10/2017 @ mahadevapura ps, whitefield sub division, bengaluru city.

                    Attaching the mail alerts that i have received from icici bank on the translations for reference.

                    Appreciate your help in addressing the fraud and answering my concerns.

                      I had a credit card of icici which i stopped using 10 years back and no outstanding was there. Just now since last two months i started receiving a flood of calls from the following two numbers for outstanding dues.
                      [protected] – ms raj, [protected] – mr. Dhanraaj
                      I stopped taking their calls as they did not listen and rather redialling again and again i. E. Approx. 70 calls a day. I talked to them too and they said pay half of the dues else we will call to your relatives, friends etc. Further, they called at my husband’s office and their colleagues. It was so embarrassing and humiliating. I have been receiving calls from my friends, relatives, and my husband is also receiving calls from his friends and office that icici bank is looking for your wife for dues. We have been under dead stress since past week. So out of stress and to stop the calls, i said to above agents that i will pay half of dues i. E. I think a total of principal amount but they do not have even details of the transaction and they denied to furnish that too. Just to release stress i agreed but since then too, i am feeling stressed and humiliated. So i searched in internet and found some clause of rbi which is stated below.
                      Now, i just like to know where to complain and how to resort this matter.
                      As per point 6.3 (C) of rbi/[protected]/32, dbod. Fsd. Bc.17 / 24.01.011/ 2007-08 dated july 2, 2007, banks /nbfcs / their agents should not resort to intimidation or harassment of any kind, either verbal or physical, against any person in their debt collection efforts, including acts intended to humiliate publicly or intrude the privacy of the credit card holders’ family members, referees and friends, making threatening and anonymous calls or making false and misleading representations.

                        Hi mam there was a fraud with my acc. On 5th oct where somebody has withdrawn rs. 10000.00 from my acc via cash withdraw. The best part is that the card is with me in pune maharashtra and the atm withdrawal happened in kolkatta. Now your icici people are least helpful and they want me to wait for 7 days to get my money i don't have a single money with me. The only request is please expedite the process and i need the money asap. Icici is really a pain at wrong place

This is really ridiculous, you never emailed me on mail and now this charge is unacceptable... Please return my money... I am really disappointed. I do not want any justification from you... I ask many times to him have u payment due. He said yes and i accept his talk but after three months icici recovery boy comes home for recovery that time im not home but i paid fully due amount with charges but now caard is not working due to black listed at that time im getting call from icici recovery team to pay the bill but im not getting any statement so how can i pay i also complain many times u also can check on costumer care. I just give him as being human and also my friend.

                            Im not complaint im just saying can u do the unblock the card and working again

                              Dear sir, i am using ur bank credit card from last 10 years. My credit card no is [protected]. I have paid all the dues on time from last 10 years & in last 10 years, no delay payment is given by me. The credit card expiry date was of sep 2017. Till date, i have not received the new credit card (Renew).
                              I am also using the credit card of hdfc bank ltd & my credit limit is rs.7.5 lacks at their. The credit card from hdfc bank ltd was also expired in the month of augest 2017 but they have given me the card (Renewal) in one month advance.
                              This is the service quality of hdfc bank ltd & this is the comarison between hdfc bank ltd & you.

Verification done by icici but loan amount and intrest percentage not discussed with the user and amount sent to me without any information. It's been a month since i debited 349/- amount from same the icici debit card after receiving a mail regarding free killer watch scheme on payment of shipping charge only & immediately received an email from killers jeans like this "dear nikita raut, thank you for your order from http://www.killerjeans.com. your no order no. 192370, ccavenue reference no.[protected] etc...”
                                      Even after a month there is no responses from them. Item is neither delivered nor any status of dispatch informed. I request you to kindly investigate in this matter. Please do the needful.

                                        Trans of inr 2100.00 rs using credit card ([protected]) is made at kargil shahid on 3oct 2017.

                                        As in know you need to ask customer for any transaction. But you did not ask why?

                                        How can you deduct without any information?/

                                        I do not have any knowledge of this transaction. Please reverse this amount as soon as possible.
