On 24th of aug 2015, sunday icici representative came to my home to collect auto debit change form. I requested to change auto debit for lbche[protected] from indian overseas bank account to icici nre account to make the emi transfer process smoother. I have signed all the mandate forms that the representative told me. Also i provided blank security cheque to him.
So for the month of sep 2015, i expected the auto debit to happen from my icici nre account. But the icici loan branch representatives requested me to authorize the emi deduction from my icici nre account and also promised that the auto debit will be enabled for the next emi month.
As every emi due date passes, the icici representative would call and request me to authorize the debit from my icici nre account through email and promised that the mandate will be effective next month. This continued for three months and hence the bounce happened for those months (Aug15, sep15, and oct15)
Sumathi along with sivaram were the people who are contacting me on this issue on behalf of icici. As i was requested to authorize for the month of nov 2015 also, i strongly objected to it and asked what had happened to my mandate form and the blank security cheques. I was really worried about the blank security cheques being misused and asked for the same to the representatives who called me in the months of nov 2015 and dec 2015.
Only then the representative (Sumathi) informed me about the missed column to be filled in the mandate form which i was totally unaware of till the month of oct 2015.
It’s very obvious that i did not receive any proper response from the icici representatives on this issue and i was kept in dark about the blank cheques. This was the reason for which i withheld the authorization of emi for the month of nov 15 and dec 15.
After the promise from the bank representative that the issue would be resolved and the blank cheques are safe in the hands of the branch official, i have authorized emi properly from the month of jan 2016, by when a new problem raised.
When i authorized emi for the month of jan 2016, overdue charges and cheque bounce charges which happened due to the mandate issue was debited from my emi. I have raised this issue with sumathi and she had promised that it would be adjusted in the ensuing month's emi. And she adjusted the overdue charges in the feb 2016 emi.I have asked for these charges to be waived off as this happened due to the mandate form issue. But sumathi has been dodging me for more than two months on this issue. Also i have requested her to change the auto debit account to my old indian overseas bank account. She has not responded appropriately for this as well. As you can see that the issue is open for more than two months without any resolution and there is no sincere effort from the bank to solve this issue.
And on 2nd april 2016 sumathi has replied in watsapp saying that overdue charges of rs.2000 and cheque bounce charges of rs.1137 will be reversed which is contradicting her previous watsapp communication which reads a reversal of rs.2500 of overdue charges and rs.1137 of cheque bounce charges on 15th march 2016 for which i have objected already and requested to reconsider and resolve the reversal issue asap. I have been continuously on calls and messages with her for the past two months to resolve this issue. I didn't expect this kind of response from icici bank and this much time to resolve this issue.

    Dear Sir,
    My name is sandeep, i have opned a salary zero balane account in cyber greens city gurgaon branch.my account number is[protected], there are seven thousand rupees in my account since last one year, but now i have check my balance, there are only four thosand some rupees.these charges deducted as smab charges + s.tax, my account is for salary account as zero balace, then why icici deduct this money, i have deposit this to do very hard work, but the icici have easily deduct this amount without any information.now i want to credit my deducted money in my account back

      R u guys running a bank.. or dis is some kind of joke going on.. today I withdraw a amount of 5000 at 3:11pm from the ICICI atm ashok vihar phase 3 gurgaon and at 3:22 pm I received a message with 15000 withdrawl from my account.. this money is really precious for me as I was saving this for my moms operation from last 3 months.. now who will compensate me for this amount.. I am going to the consumer court as I am really irritate with the service of ICICI bank.. also going to print this news in news paper to make people aware of this disgusting service of you guys.. I want an immediate action and reply for this matter.

      Dear ICICI Bank team,

      I did the biggest mistake of my life by taking your Credit card. These guys have been harassing me an my parents from days for the payment and that too after making the payment. That too for a pity amount of 5000/-
      I don't understand, Till me its fine I'm an adult and can understand your concern but why did you involved my parent s for the same. This is just one forum where I am complaining, I will sue you guys in the Consumer Court. This is not the way to handle the customer, specially Ms. Sonu from your team. What does she think of herself, Teach you team some manners first and then come back to us begging for money. Even after doing the payment in your DU branch your representative came at my door step and misbehave with my parents. This is unacceptable and I want a strict action against it.

      I would not like to continue with you guys and live this life of harassment. Please discontinue my card and have a happy life.

      No response from you guys even after sending you a mail. It's so easy for you guys to say we regret the inconvenience caused, Infact we should write this. We regret to be associated to your bank and even after raising a complaint at Consumer court nobody responded. I am so sure that I won't be paying even a single penny post this.           In my credit card statement from 24-jan-2016 to 23-feb-2016.

          I was having previous balance displayed 17493.36 which got neutralized with the payment of 17493.36 and new purchases was worth of 51921.29, for which minimum amount due was 2600/- with a due date of 13/03/2016. I paid 3000/- on 10/03/2016.

          Now in the statement from 24-feb-2016 to 23-mar-2016.

          Icici is now asking me to pay interest for that 3000/- also which i've deposited in previous month and charging me interest on the complete amount of 51921.29/-.

          Also, when i saw the issue i called up 3 times to icici customer care and surprisingly there team was incapable of providing me a clear answer of those extra charges, instead they shared with me an interest calculation sheet.

          When i followed the same with a senior executive in customer service department with the name of mr naresh, he was unable to give me a proper answer while i was discussing the interest calculation sheet with him.

          I asked him a few logical questions which he was not willing to answer as he knew its a mistake of icici.

          I thought of compiling a complete story and sending it to the complaint department then i got a reply from mr indrasena reddy, customer service manager who instead of bringing transparency in the extra charges tried to scare me of the extra charges which will be piled on me if i won't timely pay to icici.

          That's a clear unethical behavior of icici overcharging customers and when asked not able to provide clear explanation instead avoiding communication with the customer as they know most of the client don't even check their statements thoroughly so icici is trying to levy unnecessary charges.

          I got this credit card a few months back and in past few months they have charged excess of 5000/- from me. Now lets say icici fool just 1% of indians (I.E. 125 lacs people) with these extra charges, they are earning 6250 cr and then they proudly show their numbers at quarter or year end displaying their growth or success via fooling their customers and passing the profits to fii share holders.

          Trust me on this i am not putting this complaint because you are over charging me for 1664.76/- but because i've got unprofessional response from your teams and you've lost a loyal customer.

          I've blocked my card and there won't be any further transactions happening from my side and i'll pay to icici what i am liable to pay i.E. 42220.62/- not a paisa more, as i've already paid 10000/- to icici yesterday.

          You guys do hell of a in-operations.

            I have applied for ICICI bank credit card in Nov 2015. Due to some reasons, I was out of station and after that I shifted my home. So, Credit card was not delivered to me and was returned back.

            On 10th Jan 2016, I received mail that my credit card was blocked due to undelivered.

            But after that every month I am receiving payment reminder mails and monthly statements.

            I wanted to raise the complaint directly to ICICI bank but for that Account number is needed and that I don't have.

            So, Kindly help to forward the issue to ICICI officials, so that things can be settled.

              Dear sir,

              I am salary account in icici bank holder after i changed the company my salary account changed but several times i visited to icici yahalanka branch bu no information regarding smab charges regarding my account even i done pradanmanthari scheam from icici only and for lpg gas subsidy also i am very old customer still they updated as salary account only and without any infromation thay deducted total 4000/- as smab charges for middel class people it matters most plz give me justice and do the reversal of my valuable amount.

              ICICI Bank Customer cupport not at all called me and updated personally visited near by branches no proper response from them now compaint has been closed with out intimation they dont care any body need to next level of esculation for stupid things we get calls not for the SMAB charges deducting not even single means of communication done by the bank even visited several times to the branch no body told that time also .

              i am a customer for ICICi bank for 10 long years i got last 8 years my salary account is not creadited to ICICi bu still it is reflecting as salary account i was doing the transaction narmally suddenly when i check my account showing NIL balance bank pepole not intimated through SMS nor MAIL nor Call for stupid things i will get calls from ICICI for SMAB charges not even intimation even is physically visited the branch offices

                My name is harshal doshi. I am a customer of icici bank from last two years. I have my salary account in icici bank.

                Last month, i was offered a coral credit card from icici bank. Since i have my salary account in icici bank, i was offered a completely free credit card. I was told that there would not be any joining as well as yearly charges. It was offered absolutely free.

                Now i have received a bill of 572.50 rs saying that these are my joining fees.
                As a customer i feel cheated and unhappy. Being this big brand it does not suit icici bank to cheat its customers just for selling its products. Thus i'm not paying any joining fees or any other charges and i want my card absolutely free (No charges) as i was told.

                I'm expecting icici bank to consider my complaint and respond to it.

                  Dear sir/madam,

                  Recent days me and my relatives are getting frequent calls from icici bank saying i have pending payment in icici bank from 2008, which is 100% not true. I have closed my icici credit card in 2008 giving cheque to bank in 2008. The harassment has caused me problems in my personal relationships with my family. I have been asking them to send me all the details they have, but they abused me and they're not ready to send any details. I have recorded the calls, and i am taking that aganist the customer care executive from icici bank mr babu. I don't have any details my credit card with me which i closed in 2008, so please let me know what i am suppose to do.

                  I have also received calls from the exactly same numbers. The Person told me he is Nagendra babu. He says I have an outstanding amount from 2006-07. This is farce and absolutely not true. I doubt if Nagendra Babu is from ICICI at all to start with. Then the numbers kept changing. This is harrassment.

                  The same guys had called my father and used threatening language. HOW CAN THEY CALL MY FATHER"S NUMBER AND BEHAVE THIS WAY ?? I think we have a call recorded from them.

                  Can we approach the Police for harrassment ? If this was US, these people would have been in jail by now.

                  Right from 2016 there r complaints on Mr. Nagendra Babu calling and harrassing people. What all are the actions you have taken against him. Today on 11/08/2018, the same guy called me and used all bad words. This really shows how ICICI is an organisation .

                    I called icici bank credit card customer service on friday april 8th 2016 at 10:08 am & i spoke to lady who's name i don't remember. I wanted to know the principal outstanding on the personal loan that i had availed on my credit card as i was planning to pre close it. First of all when i got connected to her, she was talking to someone next to her may be her friend or may be someone not paying attention on her system that the call has hit her. Later she gave her greeting and started talking to me. I told her that i wanted to know the principal outstanding on the personal loan that i had availed on my credit card as i was planning to pre close it. Not listening carefully she gave me the emi amount that i have to pay as per statement. I again repeated my statement clearly stating that i wanted to know the principal outstanding amount on the personal loan that i had availed on my credit card. She again gave me same answer in a slightly rude was stating sir please listen carefully and gave the same info which is the emi amount i need to pay. I clarified to her again as to what information i wanted and when she understood what information i wanted, she put me on hold for such a long time and never came back. I called the same number again and got connected to another customer service associate who gave me correct info and i also told that associate to listen to the hold music which the previous rep has still kept me on, not bothering to come back with the correct answer. I ended the call with the second associate but the first rep still did not come back on the phone to talk to me. I also explained this to the second associate i spoke to. She confirmed that she could hear the hold music about the first associate. I am really very angry with such a horrible service provided to me. I want strict action taken against her. She could not understand english and on top of that was rude and then kept me on hold for ever and never came back and so i had to end the call. I would want a call back on this as to why i was treated in this way and until i don't get a call from icici regarding this will keeping posting the same complaint wherever i can and also go to consumer court. I also work in a call center and so i know how to tackle such associates. Requesting you to please call me and explain why such poor customer service was provided to me and why does the bank have such associates in their department who are not interested in the job they are doing.

                      Hi,
                      I have a credit card with icici bank, on 25th december 2016 there was a fraudulent transaction on my credit card, rs 13000 have been spent on my credit card (Online transaction to vodafone), the credit card was with me all the time this fraud happened, i also got a call from icici that there is a fraudulent activity taking place on your card and that they are blocking the card, i gave them a green signal to block my card, after which i checked my i mobile app, which had no traces of such transaction so i became relaxed and carried on with my work.
                      After a few days when i opened my account online, i happened to see this fraud transaction, i immediately called in the customer care and informed them what happened, they told me that at this time (10.00 pm or 11.00 pm) the disputes settlement team was not available, and asked me to call in the morning, i called icici bank in the morning after spending 1-1.30 hours to get through the call center and the disputes team, finally they raised a service request(Complaint number) number (Sr[protected] and sr[protected], i was asked to give a copy of fir to icici bank along with one disputes form. I spent like 4 days to get the fir but the same was not registered in the police station as the police did not accept to raise a fir, so i brought a written application from the cyber cell signed by the dcp and also an application with the stamp of the local police station, i went to the nearest branch (Kalyani nagar, pune), they asked me to approach the credit card department at soma house, bhandarkar road, pune, maharashta, so i approached them and submitted my documents, as the person responsible (Area disputes manager) was on a holiday, i gave these documents to another person taking the number of the person responsible, the next day i called in to inquire and was happy to know that the person had submitted my documents to the responsible person, but when i called the responsible person i was astonished to see that this person was not at all interested to solve my case and talked to me in a rude manner, i informed him that i was recording the call but he continued to talk rudely .
                      Now few days after i get an email stating that the "investigation is in favour of the merchant", i inquired further and they said they will need a letter from my company hr or muster details that i was in office that day, i kept my company authorities in loop and asked icici bank to reply on the email so the genuinety of this case can be justified and the hr would give me such a letter, i am following up for 3 days now (5, 6, 7th april) but i have not received any response in this case.
                      I am very frustrated with this matter, i see no co operation from icici bank to resolve the disputes of customers. The delay in responses and the rude behaviour of the employees is a great concern as this is very frustrating .

                        I had applied for personal loan with ICICI Bank, i submitted my document but aftr that there was no response from anyone (even the concerned person who i submitted my documents to). All of a sudden i recieved a verification call and thats when the concerned person called me and said my loan has been pre sanctioned. After requesting her she gave me my application number #65996743. When i checked the loan status it showed REJECTED. I have no idea why it was rejected. The concerned person is not answering my calls. I'm able to get through customer service to know why it was rejected. This is not how you treat your customers. I need to know the reason for my rejection so i can work on it for my future needs. I did not expect this behaviour from such a reputed brand.                           Hi am Amit Rao (Mob No- [protected]) and as this is with ref. to my telecom with Sneha Jadhav (ICICI Bank - Mob No [protected]) dated[protected] regarding issuing of ICICI credit card of mine and thereafter I’ve provided my documents i.e. my Feb’16 salary slip, Pan card and Driving licence on the said e-mail id i.e [protected]@gmail.com.

                          As told by her that I will receive a ICICI kit and a mail from ICICI Bank which would contain the details and benefits of the credit card. I would like to inform you that as on date I’ve not received any details as such.

                          Since[protected] evening i'm trying to get in touch with her on the given mobile no [protected], the mobile is ringing but nobody is picking up the call. I've also mailed her but no respond

                            Hi, i am having bank account in icici bank at vashi, maharashtra.

                            I was just checking my bank statement and got the shock
                            Because my account has been debited by smab charges
                            Nov15+stax65.25= deducted amount-515.25 i don't have any mail

                              I had availed ICICI credit card PL during 2015. While explaining the same, the pre-closure penalty charges was not disclosed and no agreement being sent to know the missing info about the loans terms and condition. The customercare person discussed this via phone and processed the amount within 3 days. Now I did inquired about the pre-closure of the same and I was shocked that pre-closure penalty of 3% which comes around 5k extra for me to close it out. Please advise.

                                I have some due with my credit card. Due to some personal problem iam not able to pay my emi on time. But iam not activated auto debit service after this they make auto debit and debited amount from my icici bank saving account. And blcked my card as per icici bank rules.When iam talk on customer care they siad contact rohini branch for this solution to backend team.But how can this possible when iam not activated auto debit service for credit card after they debit amount from my account.

                                  I am a HNI customer of ICICI Wealth Management. I receive my salary into savings account. I hold credit card from the same bank. I have kept more than ten fixed deposits.

                                  I owe the bank absolutely nothing. There is a standing instruction to take the full amount outstanding from my savings account.

                                  There is no reason - logical or otherwise - to slap a lien or lein - that too without informing me by phone or email or letter directly or through my dedicated relationship manager.

                                  This is a wealth management branch - I have a so called dedicated relationship manager - who gives a damn about any of these things. She simply reads what is there on the screen and relays what others tell her.

                                  I have made arrangements to issue a show cause notice to ICICI. I also wanted to make the public aware malpractices of the bank. Hence the complaint.

                                    Hi icici team,

                                    Your company representatives came to my company to open my salary account and offered me range of benefits. One of them was metro debit card for which one time joining fees was told as 300 inr to which i agreed and applied for with. Now i came to know from my friend that there is an annual fees of 300 inr as well on the card which i found on the website also which was hidden from me.

                                    I called by all your channels but no one is able to cancel the request although there is no intimation on my email and phone that the card has been applied. This really strange behaviour from a reputed bank.

                                    On complaining online on consumer complaints my card has been cancelled and refunded but inr 100 was deducted for the card which has not been refunded. Urge you to refund the same as well into my account.

                                      I am sending a mail for complaints and grievance for home loans. Not sure about sending this mail to right person or not. If it is not right then please forward this mail to the concerned department as this is a very serious matter.

                                      Myself rohit agnihotri (Mob: 954****580) and my ex-colleague deepak singh (Mob: 999****900) both have applied for home loan from icici bank and our home loans numbers are lbdel[protected] and lbdel[protected] respectively. Our home is in construction period for 3 years terms in sector 102, haryana

                                      We both have taken loans from one of your icici home loan representative mr. Arjun tyagi (Mob: [protected]). I am sending this mail specially about complaints of arjun tyagi who works under mr. Gaurav amrit (Icici sales manager).

                                      I personally told him that i need a loan for 12 lacs only and deepak personally told him that he need a loan for 13 lacs only and we will pay the processing accordingly and as per the affordable government housing scheme in haryana there is a 0.25% processing fees instead of 0.50% plus government taxes like 14.5% and mr arjun also committed for the same. But he approved our home loan for the amount of 15 lacs 30 thousand which he told us despite of our instructions and we both still awaiting for our welcome letter.

                                      As per statement given by him about processing fees we given him two cheques for rupees 4000 individually.

                                      Few days later he came back to us for final agreement before disbursement and he returned both of cheques of rupees 4000 individually and said that he will take 4000 per person in cash mode for processing fees as he told us that he will deposit the appropriate amount in icici bank for processing fees after loan disbursement. We were not aware of that paying processing fees in correct mode.

                                      Along with other documents, bba and cash, he also have taken 5 blank cheques with our signatures due to your some mandatory process which we were not aware of that. We both have also duly signed auto debit form for pre interest emi deductions.

                                      We both got our first disbursement in cheque mode in the amount of rs.2, 29, 149 individually as per demand letter given by our housing project in-charge person.
                                      Our main important concern is related to processing fees and your complicated procedure which given us a hell of frustration and your representative arjun tyagi is not responding since last 15 days. So we contacted mr. Gaurav amrit who convinced us that he will settle a meeting with all o[censored]s along with arjun tyagi but meeting is still not yet conduct.

                                      Now its very clear to you that we both have given 8000 rupees in cash to mr. Arjun tyagi after that my account is debited by 1752 rupees on 26 feb, 2016 from my cheque and deepak singh account is debited by 1852 rupees on 26 feb, 2016 from his cheque which we both have given to mr. Arjun tyagi.

                                      Later we realised then we both have make stop payment on rest of cheques which we have given to mr. Arjun tyagi.

                                      What the hell is the procedure to taking money in cash then debited by cheque and then again debited through auto debit mode.

                                      Icici bank doesnot understand that people is on the best treasures of the success of a company. Once you make an entry, you will be astonished by an amazing fact that icici bank does not expect its employee to serve its customers. One should not wonder that icici bank gets the largest number of complaints against fraud, cheating money, etc.

                                      Check the consumer forum website of the government of india about the number of complaints against this bank. Icici banks executives/employees false commitment and cheating/looting money in some illegal way which genuine customers can not understand shows a unprofessional attitude.

                                      Now its very clear that gaurav and arjun both invloved in this cheating business, i asked gaurav to bring arjun infront o[censored]s in rohini branch office but response was negative and gaurav is pretending that he was waiting for us for meeting on monday. Mr. Arjun tyaagi is avoiding us and now we need to handle mr. Gaurav amrit personally in office on some other day.


                                      Only 8000 rupees for two persons get looted from us and was told that this is a processing fees, i am hardly fighting for 4000 rupees myself and deepak singh is fighting for his 4000 rupees only. We have taken loans in the terms of lakhs not in thousand, are you guys incredibly forcing us to waive these 8000 looted money. I will fight till my last soul until i did not get my money back.

                                        This is swaroop kanwar, holding an icici saving b/a :[protected]. My complaint is related to the minimum account balance charges, that bank has debited from my account without even notifying their policy changes, if any.

                                        Icici bank is simply debiting amount from my account without any prior information. I think icici bank is not even following the guidelines mentioned by rbi. Previously minimum account balance for my account was 1000/-rs but they made changes in their minimum average balance policy and its charges without sharing any prior notification. Bank is simply doing fraud with its unaware customers.

                                        Earlier mab charge was very less but suddenly bank raised it highly without notifying.

                                        Please find the below details for all the transactions made by bank. I tried to get in touch with the bank on their helpline but they said that they can't do anything about this:

                                        While opening a demat account with ICICI, i was told that a savings account would also have to be opened, no information on minimum balance was provided. Since it was not my primary salary account, i never maintained the amount and when i finally started using the account for my salary credit, all balance MABs started being deducted without any information to me. it has been to the tune of 7000/- Rs. so far. How can the bank deduct such a big amount without informing the account holder of such a clause. More so when the account was inactive for over a year and a half. So, if i had not reactivated the account. I would have owed the bank in Lakhs in a decade.
