I wanted to open Basic Savings Bank Account, so i quickly landed to the page http://www.icicibank.com/Personal-Banking/account-deposit/basic-savings/index.pa...⇄
on 11/4/2016 i visited your two branches (IFSC CODE : ICIC0001035 and other IFSC CODE : ICIC0001314) for opening my basic savings account, the first branch (1035) just told that this basic saving do exist, and the secound said "opening this account is long process..." what does it actually mean ?
so they just told me that, i have to open regular saving in which i have MAB monthly, and in both branches, the executives actually don't anything about this basic saving account (poor product knowledge ).
and i got call from icici bank (no. +[protected] and i just told them open basic saving account, they agreed and said i cannot apply through online, they will fix an appointment and send one executive to my place, so he will open your basic acc . after 2 hours i got a call from mr srikant ((IFSC CODE : ICIC0001035), and he refused to open basic saving account, he said that that do not exist .
can you help me, do this basic saving exist or not .if not then why it is on your website and why that phone call executives agreed to open basic account .if it exist, then why they are refusing to open that account.
