I had placed an order for cake & bouquet to be delivered at Kodaikanal on 24 Apr 22 vide order No 1730644 but it was not delivered at all. I was asked to pay additional Rs 100 for the delivery, which I paid very promptly too but still the order was not delivered.
I must have tried the customer care number so many times but there was no response at all. I left many messages also but again no response.
It has spoiled the moment and the faith in the company.
Nobody even bothered to call up or update the status. Also no refund has been initiated.

Cake was not delivered and the customer support is saying I need to pay extra delivery charge as my place is far from the actual delivery area. But you never mentioned this while doing the payment and this is like cheating. Why didn't you tell that I will be charged extra for delivery while ordering the cake.

I placed an order for same day delivery in Sundargarh on the 16th of April.
The order was accepted and I paid the full amount of 515 rupees. A few hours later, I received a Razorpay link from them asking for an extra 100 rupees because it was outside of their standard delivery zone which I paid.

The cake still did not get delivered and I received no communication from them.

The next morning, I again contacted them via chat (because that seems to be the only option - Clearly they are scammers). They said the order was not delivered because it was a "non-service order". What the hell does that even mean?

I attach the screenshots of our conversation. (Note I am using my friend's name in the conversation since the billing address had her name).

Guess what, NO REFUNDS or COUPONS received it!! Seems to be an elaborate scheme to scam people, accept orders from non-deliverable regions and not pay them back. Trap them into ordering again and no way to get the money back directly.

IndiaCakes are classic example of scam in India. I had ordered a cake, there was no response from them. After 2 days I tried chasing them, they responded that they can't deliver to that address, neither will they refund the money since they have no refund policy .
They said they will send a coupon code.
This is a classic example where vendors block customers money.
I told if they couldn't deliver, they should not have deducted the money at the first place. Neither are they delivering the cake, nor are they refunding the amount. If they can't deliver to my required addresses, what am I supposed to do with coupon code?

Order num 1730350 was not delivered, even after extra payment m I want my refund

Today i ordered a cake from this site but didn't received.They do not attend call after 7pm. I want full refund.

They are fraudsters, taking money frm the ppl in the name of online cake delivery, they charge high again dey send link for more payment and don't deliver, Never order from their site, they don't exist, liars and cheaters, strict should be take against them.

This whole company including all the people in customer service are a bunch of fraudsters. I booked my order on 8th April, 2022 for delivery on 9th april, 2022 in Kalahandi, Odisha but these people made no delivery. I was not even intimated the status of my order. The customer care never answers, and no reply to my emails were given. Whenever they did pick up, the customer service was absolutely horrendous. They disconnected my phone multiple times whenever I asked for a refund. At last they gave me a [censored] coupon saying this is all I will get and I will have to use the coupon in one go. They have frauded me and kept my hard earned money. I don't want the coupon because you don't deliver in the first place. I read their FAQs and found out that they guarantee delivery on the specified date but they failed to do so and now these bunch of sickening people won't return back the money. My order ID is 1729852. Wonder how these people sleep at night and how this company is still running and no action has been taken against them by the government.

Ordered a cake and was told it would be delivered by 9 pm and when contacted them the next day, was told that the order was not possible to deliver. got no refund from their side

Don't deliver cake don't intimate and always refund as coupon code which is not useful as the cake never gets delivered

Good day I have Ordered cake and flowers via online and paid online total sum of Rs 2005 on 03/04/2022 including delivery charges. The delivery supposed to be in 04/04/2022. The company changed some extra amount for as soon as possible delivery and extra delivery charges as well . But the products has not been delivered till 05/04/2022 4pm . Contacted customer care via given number[protected] many times . They simply abusing and disconnecting call when I asking for updates . I feel it’s a online scam company which not delivering products and cheating the customers . Many online reviews says it’s a fraudulent company too. Kindly take a proper action to stop this company to continue to do the Bussiness and compensate my loss of money and time as well. These are fraudsters. They take your money and do not deliver. After your order is placed,
They write back saying they need more money for delivery bcz the order is far away. When you ask them to cancel your order, they cancel it but do not refund your money. I have made a cyber complaint against them. Please be careful of this website. Do not order from here

This so called India cake website is fraud.

I have ordered one cake from this company and initially they have not responded after taking money and after some time they ask for the more money to deliver your order saying your order is far and after all they did not deliver order and gave you a coupon instead that also of lesser amount.

And next time i have ordered they have deducted some amount and rest of the amount they do not worry to return .

Fraud, Fraud, Fraud Be aware...

The most irresponsible people and company I have come accross till date.
The very first time I placed order from here.
There is no order confirmation mail sent to us, no notification, no updates, nothing.
We are in a confusion that the order is placed or not, since the amount got debited.
We sent the ma and the next morning we receive a reply that order is on hold since you need to pay more 250 as delivery charges, since the address is far off.
Why the hell they did not ask for the same while making the payment during the process of placing the order.
We asked can we cancel the order, they said you will not receive refund, you will get it in our app for next use.
We paid as we didn't want it in the Wallet.
After that there was no mail, no notification, no updates, nothing related to the order.
We called the customer executive, she told that you have placed the order you have to call and ask or live chat with us, we won't provide any tracking or notification.
I read the reviews in Play Store, evry individual has written that their order didn't get delivered, took extra charges by send mail after the payment was made, customer executive was not picking up the call.
Some people also wrote as fraudsters to them, of course we pay and if we are not informed what is happening, our order won't get delivered, we will calm it as fraud.
They do not pick up calm after 7 in the evening.
When asked when will our order get delivered, they say till 7 pm in the evening.
This is very serious concern.
Action is required against them.

This is in reference to the order 1729163 placed on 28.03 .22 at India Cakes website. The website showed no delivery charge for the normal delivery but later demanded Rs. 250 for the same. Customers should be pre informed about the charges rather than intimating it after receiving the money. I cancelled the order and even emailed the concern to them on the same day but have not received any response or my refund. I don't want the coupon as I am not satisfied with the services. The chatbot and helpdesk are even not helping me out. When I call the customer care they just disconnect the calls and on reconnecting they mention the reason as technical error. Pathetic service. I want my refund. Even the website also says free delivery charges PAN India.

On 2nd February 2022 was my son's birthday. I wanted to give him a surprise by sending a cake to him.

I am staying in Mumbai and my family is in Kerala, Palakkad dist, Shoranur village. I searched in the website for any online cake shop to get a cake delivered to them as a surprise on same day. I found Indiacakescom and I give the pincode to confirm the delivery and they confirmed it and I selected one cake for Rs.545/- and I got a discount of 10% i.e. Rs.54.50 the balance amount of Rs.490.50 was paid by me through Bhim app. Within an hour I got a message that I have to pay Rs.250/- again then I called the executive they said you have ordered only half kg. cake, and free delivery was applicable only if I ordered 1 Kg. cake for delivery. To have my half kg cake delivered, I paid Rs.250/- additional.

In the night till 7.30 p.m. the cake was not delivered and after contacting the consumer executive they said NOBODY IS THERE FOR DELIVERY THE ORDER SO WE CANCEL THE ORDER AND THEY HAVE SEND ME A COUPON WHICH WAS VALID FOR 1 YEAR"

I asked the Executive if you can't deliver then why you confirmed my order, It mentally disturbed me because I told my son that I had ordered a cake online and you will get it soon but it did not arrive? Now the Cake shop say to me that I will get a coupon from them and it valid for 1 year. I SAID THE EXECUTIVE MY FAMILY IS IN SHORANUR AND NEXT TIME ALSO I ORDERED TO SHORANUR ONLY WHERE IS YOU CAN'T DELIVERY THE CAKE SO PLEASE RETURN MY MONEY"

Till date they are not returned my money and on 18th March 2022 I contacted them they said they already sent me a coupon code but It is not received in my mail and I asked them to resend it and they resend it but it was not opening .

I ordered cake 21/03/2022 which is supposed to not yet delivered. Till 6.50 I was continuously contacting customer care. They told I will get before 7 pm. But I didn't received anything. The support desk closes at 7 pm. No response after that.

I ordered cake from IndiaCakes Website but the cake was never delivered to the address. I sent multiple emails but there is no response and there is no refund. I ordered Cake on March 6th and the Amount I paid was 523.95. Next Day I got an email asking for more 250 as the Delivery center is far. I paid that amount as well but they never delivered the cake. Attached is the screenshot for the same.

This complaint mail is regarding Online order No.1728460,

The date of order placed was 15.03.2022 and the delivery date was 16.03.2022 for 1 kg cake delivery of the said item to Mahagama - Jharkhand.
The purpose of the order was the marriage anniversary of my sister which was on 16.03.2022 through the portal INDIA CAKES (www.indiacakes.com) and I have also made payment of Rs.1301/- (Rs.1151 (Cake Price) + Rs.150(extra deliver fee)) towards the purchase of cake through google pay.

I had waited the whole day on 16.03.2022 hoping that my sister would receive the cake, but to my shock, the cake was not delivered and there was no intimation from INDIA CAKES about the failure from their end. Due to the whole scene, there was a very big embarrassment that I had to face and the anxiety that I had to go through as there was a party and guests waiting for the cake.

And when I tried to reach their customer care, I got to know that they close their lines by 7 PM IST, so I had dropped them a mail regarding the whole issue and had asked them for a complete refund.

But the next morning Date: 17.03.2022 the delivery boy had brought the cake in the morning, and I had asked my sister not to accept the delivery from them.

When I contacted their number[protected], their customer care not only refused the refund but also disconnected my call very unprofessionally, this is how a customer is treated at their end.

I would like to highlight over here the whole mental trauma, the anticipation the anxiety, and mainly the embarrassment that I had to be through, and now I get to know that there is no refund from INDIA CAKES.

Please be aware of this online portal while placing any order to avoid all that I have been through.
