I was trying to cancel an e-ticket (Booked from merta rd jn to ernakulam, boarding at ahmedabad) since yesterday evening for pnr no. [protected] because the passengers are not traveling. However, i had difficulty in getting login into my account, maybe due to the recent changes in the website of irctc. Finally, i managed to file a tdr today morning at 9.30am, but the train is bound to reach ahmedabad at 12.30pm. I was surprised to see the reason of "login problems/connectivity problems" missing from the reason for cancelling e-ticket for filing tdr. I remember availing tdr in 2015 when a similar incident happened and the reason like "login problems/connectivity problems" was available in the website for filing tdr.
This is just to bring in the notice of irctc that i had to file tdr morning due to slow website and login problems probably because of the recent changes made in the site, but i had to select a different reason that "all passengers not traveling".
Indian Railway Catering & Tourism Corporation [IRCTC] customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
