This better be the last time I am facing this inconvenience.

Out of this two failed transactions, one debited a sum of 331 Rs from my card even though the transaction failed and it is still not refunded.

In the past couple of months, I have continuously met with several such failed transactions while booking in UZHAVAN EXPRESS which is between MS to KMU, back and forth.

I have got several failed transactions out of which, three transactions debited an amount of 'RS 331' from my card. Every part of the transaction went smoothly but finally the transaction turned out to be FAILED. BUT THE AMOUNT GOT DEBITED. The problem definitely didnt arise from my card, I used several different cards from several different banks.

I got back 331 Rs for first transaction within some acceptable no of days. As any Indian would do, I forgave them.

But the second time while booking the same thing happened. Every part of the transaction went smoothly but finally the transaction turned out to be FAILED. BUT THE AMOUNT GOT DEBITED. The refund got so delayed that I sent a email to Irctc customer care email id, requesting them to address it. But I didn't get any proper help.
After one and half months, I got back 331 Rs.

Again on 25 April 2018, While booking through the same train, the same thing happened.
An amount of 331 was debited during the transaction but the transaction got failed.
After waiting for nearly 10 days, I report this to you.

I have to inform to you that I am a very experienced user in online transactions. Hence the problem is not from my side. I have booked several tickets through IRCTC before, I was always satisfied with it. All this started only in the last couple of months.
These problems are turning out to be frustrating and problematic.

IRCTC should sort these issues out immediately.

    We the passengers of train no 13331 from dhanbad to patna are suffering huge problems during journey by this train. One ac not working and on stoppage that only ac also not working. The train halted more than one hour at barhiya stn. And all the passengers including children and ladies were boiled due to heat at barhiya stn. We lodged complain in complain book with tte on train. The train is intercity express and it takes more than 10 hours in place of six hours. There are only few train between dhanbad and patna. So please look into the matter and comply these problems.

      I have booked an e ticket on 28/4/2018rain no12632 tirunelveli to tambaram.. I chnaged my tour programe and cancelled the ticket on28/4/2018 the same day... I pay the amount from my iob account.
      When i go through irctc web about my refund it shows the refund done on 1/5/2018. But the amount not credited to my bank account

        I had tried booking tickets was wasnt successful due to some error. But the ticket amount was deducted from my account twice after 8 hours o[censored]nsuccessful booking.. The amount of deduction is rs 3180. Need a refund. Have also mailed to [protected]@irctc, but no reply yet. Need a quick redressal.
        No ticket booked yet payment deducted twice.
        I have attached proofs for better understanding.

          The train named LLT Faizabad Express train number being 22103 was scheduled to arrive at bhusawal station at 8.30 pm which was late n was rescheduled to arrive at 21.50 n the same was displayed on platform no.6 and in no time the train came on platform no.4 around 11.15 without the announcement being made. The epic moment is still the train details are displayed on platform no.6. N the announcement was being done for the advertising agencies these tours those products 🙄😐😓 its very disappointing n the sound was also too low to be audible.
          It's a request to all those who travel to n from to bhusawal to be aware n hv a seat between the platform 4 n 6.

            Sir, i tried to book a railway ticket on 16.4.18. As per their specifications i submitted all my data's necessary for booking. My account was debited by rs 190/ but ticket could not be booked due to some technical difficulties at their end. They intimated that the amount will be refunded. But as on 08.05.2018 the amount hasn't been reversed to my account.

              Dear sir/madam, i had booked a ticket from dli to bth journey date 27-apr-2018, but the train got late from more than 20 hours. I had filed the tdr on the same day at 27-apr-2018 11:29:15 hrs. The status of tdr showing tdr repudiate. Please help full refund in my account urgentlly.                 the amount debited rs 735 was debited twice as it showed server error while making payment but a sms came to my mobile that 735 has been debited even ticket was not booked then too.

                So i request you sir will make immediate actions to look after it.

                  I have cancelled two tickets on 28th April 2018, the tickets has been cancelled but money has not yet been refunded.

                  The ticket was booked between Howrah to Chennai.

                  It has been more than 9 days still money has not been refunded.
                  I tried contacting irctc but there was no response from their side.

                      Sir,
                      I have booked a window ticket [pnr no.[protected]] from ahmedabad to nagpur for date 7/5/18 [train no. 12833]which was a waiting ticket. This train runs at 00.15 a. M. And chart was prepared at 8.00 p. M. After seeing that ticket has not being confirmed we didnt board the train as ticket was waiting.
                      On next morning when i went for cancellation and refund the counter person refused to cancel.

                      Reservation counter closes at 8.00 p. M. And so it was possible to cancel the ticket next morniing only.

                      I booked Tatkal Ticket from Chennai to Thirissur on 27th Apr 2018 and cancelled on the same day due to status waiting list. I have still not received the refund to my current bank account which i had used for booking the ticket.

                      Kindly help to get my refund to my bank account.

                          I booked a ticket from bza to chennai mas on 5-5-2018 but it was in waiting list and chart also prepared and ticket was not confirmed and i bought a general ticket from ticket counter in vijayawada railway station and i joined in general bhogi as per general ticket and next day i got the email from irctc your ticket was cancelled due to waiting list refund charges 230rs will be credited into your bank account upto now i didn't get any credit from irctc
                          Please help me to refund my money from irctc

                              Staff here in rail yatri sampath niwas in kolkata r not giving rooms or bed as they have an excuse that it's not vacant but asking them again nd again they ask for 100 rupees extra nd provide u th room. The 100 rupees they take is illegal but the way they say it's not vacant everytime is humiliating nd making people fool. Kindly look into th matter asap

                                On 26th april 2018 i booked round-trip tickets from ndls to ald and vice versa via my rupay card with transaction id: [protected] and [protected] respectively. Rs. 450 was deducted from each transaction of my account but due to transaction failure ticket didn't get booked. It's been more than 10 days the refunded amount has not been credited to my account yet.

                                  I was travelling by gitanjali exp. (12860) from howrah to tatanagar. Coach no. S6. Seat no.4. Pnr no.: [protected]. The date of journey was 6/5/18. It was written irctc. J k ghosh on the red t-shirt of the vendors
                                  All the above items are found selling by irctc vendor higher than the printed mrp price. When i asked the reason and opted to buy it as per printed mrp rate, they refused to sell it to me. This is unethical. On one side railway irctc administration is propagating to get cooperation from passengers to end the corruption and on the other side, this type o[censored]nethical corrupted business by irctc vendor is openly evident. The system is there but complaint book is missing. The common passenger is scared to lodge a complaint because he may not want to be individually identified and be the victim of harassment by the group for the long journey. The passengers have no other alternative but to buy those items at a higher price because no other food was available and they have to travel a long journey with those vendor persons. The group was adamant and desperate. Seems they are empowered by a strong leadership of muscle power. This may please be stopped. There should be a system of surprise checking by the railway authority.

                                    I have booked a ticket on irctc using payubiz gateway using my citi bank credit card and later cancelled it. On irctc portal its showing money has been refunded back to payummp but the refunded money has not been credited back to my account.

                                      I made a ticket booking on 28th april 2018 in betwa express through irctc. The ticket didn't get booked and the amount was deducted. The amount was rs. 385. But at the time of transaction pay u money deducted money from my bank a/c. Later i found my ticket was not booked and irctc showed that the ticket was not booked because they did not get any response from pay u money. That money also not refunded in my a/c also. So please take some initiative to arrange a refund for my not booked ticket.. And the ticket was not booked. The email id used was [protected]@gmail.com and the mobile number was [protected]

                                        This is very bad experience with itctc, there is no information provided about the train late coming, also when enquired no body knows the train status of 04403 and i have been waiting since 5 o clock in the morning and i got to know that the train has not yet started from source, this something that putting passengers in trouble
                                        Also there no updation showing on onlinee portal.
                                        Please look into this issue and do the needful
