On 17th april 2018, my son and mother where supposed to travel to mangalore for which ticket was booked, by mistake they got into a different train and alighted in majestic. The ticket collector/checker near the exit gate fined them rs 620 though they explained the situation and also had the valid ticket for the same day,.
They travelled from yeshavantpur to majestic and had a valid ticket from yeshavantpur to puttur

    Dear Sir,
    My mobile is lost/stolen in running train no. 19580 from my reserved seat in S9, seat no. 29. I had gone to Jaipur for official work and from thereon I was travelling from Jaipur (Rajasthan) to Botad(Gujarat) in sleeper coach reserved compartment. I started my journey from Jaipur on 27th April, 2018 and reached Botad on 28th April, 2018. I met with an unfortunate event, whereby my mobile got lost / stolen at abu road railway station (Rajasthan). I had gone to sleep by around 11 pm. When train was approaching Abu road, I woke up and found that my mobile is missing/lost/stolen.(in early morning hours of 28th April, 2018). I immediately approached my co-passengers in the coach and asked them if they had seen my mobile. Post discussions with them, I came to know that an unknown and suspicious person was seen some time back in the same coach with suspicious activities. Mobile of another co-passenger was also lost/stolen around same time. It is unfortunate to learn that the safety of the passengers are at risk, including their belongings in such a reputed railway organisation.

    None of the railway personnel were found in the train. In the morning, I then approached the Guard, who advised me to report the matter at Botad Railway station. He himself did not gave any FIR copies, etc. Some railway personnel came at around 10 am for general inspection of the entire boogie, to whom this matter was also reported. I then approached the GRP (railway police) staff at Botad Railway station who were very co-operative, but they said this matter does not come in their jurisdiction. I however have submitted a letter to them as well and they said they will forward the same to Abu Road GRP. Since I was not provided with any acknowledgement, I decided to sent a registered post AD as well to Abu Road Railway station (Rajasthan).

    I strongly urge and request GRP staff(Abu Road) to look into the matter and help me find my mobile. As stated, Model no. Samsung Edge S7 Edge (IMEI [protected] and [protected]) with dual sim cards. Sim 1 – Reliance Jio(Mumbai circle) – [protected], SIM 2 – Vodafone (Mumbai Circle) [protected] has been lost/stolen at Abu Road Railway station. I stay in Mumbai and hence it would not be practical to travel to Abu Road personally again. I had a return train from Botad to Mumbai on 28th April, 2018 at around 10 pm. I decided to go back to Mumbai, so that I can obtain duplicate / another SIM Card of Vodafone. I had blocked SIM card of Vodafone only ([protected]) and will obtain a duplicate / another SIM shortly. I have not blocked my another SIM (SIM 2 in that mobile -, which is Reliance Jio number [protected]), in case it would help track my mobile/SIM.

    I have bought a new SIM card of Vodafone and would be reachable on the new number ([protected]) from 30th April, 2018.My alternate contact number is [protected]. (which is brother’s mobile number).
    Attached herewith copy of the Mobile bill, snapshots of mobile box ( 3 sides), railway ticket copy which will help to expedite the process.Please help in getting my mobile back. I stay with my family at above mentioned address and my alternate mobile number is [protected]. My email address is amit.[protected]@gmail.com

      I have booked tatkal ticket from ahmedabad to muzaffarpur, pnr no was not generated and in transaction history it was showing transaction id:[protected], i called irctc, they said your ticket is not booked, you will receive refund in 5-7 days.
      I booked another ticket, thinking this ticket is not booked, but next day as chart prepared i got sms saying my 1 seat is confirmed and one is waitlist (Partial confirmation).
      I filed tdr selecting reason as partial ticket confirm, now its showing cr registered from more than a week, when i will receive my refund.

        Sir,
        I was using paytm for booking tickets through irctc on 28/04/2018 and doing reservation for four tickets of second sitting from bareilly to ghaziabad in train intercity express (14315) for journey date 29/04/2018 but the transaction i was doing of rs. 407.20 through paytm wallet and paytm upi using my bob account failed due to some fault at the irctc website and no tickets got booked while the amount of money amounting to rs. 407.20/- was however debited. I got refund of 131 rs. Which was my paytm wallet balance but the remaining amount of 276.20 rs. Debied through paytm booking id - [protected] from my bob account - [protected] was still not refunded. Further details i am sending you in a screenshot.
        I had been waiting for a while to get refund but now itz beyond waiting and i still had not get any refund in any of my account or wallet.

        So please look into the matter with irctc, paaytm and bob bank and do the refund to my respective account as soon as you can.

            I have tried for irctc railway booking and the captcha column filling up seems to be complicated and the column is not provided,. Instead red bus advertisement complicated matters.               Yesterday my parents started their journey in this train (Vivek maq express_22851) from salem to mangalore under a reserved sleeper class ticket. I have got a list of complaints against this train & railways.
              1) the coach is not maintained cleanly (Dirty smelling)
              2) no water in the toilets on the 2nd day of journey
              3) no ttr has come to check the ticket or talk about the issues
              4) in reserved class coach, other unreserved youngsters have occupied the seats, still no question against them from any staff/officials
              My question is:
              If reserved passengers are facing these many problems, would they prefer to travel by it again??
              Where the hell had been the staff/officials/ttrs? Why none of them were available to even check on tickets??
              It is very frustrating to hear my parents (Both are senior citizens) talk on the inconvenience they faced through the journey.

                We had booked train 22678 ktym to ypr which was suppose to reach at ypr @4:15am on 28 april and we had booked another train 12079 ypr to dvg @6am on 28 april. We had a booking for 21 people for above trains. Due to a huge delay in train 22678 to reach ypr we missed our train 12079. This mistake was not from our part, the tt was also informed about the same delay and our booking details still he did not do anything on that matter. After all this we had to go in some other local train 11022, in which we didn't get seats and also we were exhausted by the long journey of standing for so many hours, we had to travel as if we didn't have any bookings. We were all suppose to reach for my brothers engagement in morning 11am but everything got delayed because the first train didn't reach on time at the right place. Its a huge mistake from railways part for not serving their citizens properly, even after paying so much and booking so much in advance we had to face this, we had 2 senior citizens who were falling in between our journey, we were not suppose to go in a local train, when we had pre bookings. We need strict action in this matter as we had suffered a lot in this journey and we need something to be done on this matter.

                  I have cancelled my train ticket and i am waiting for refund.but they are saying that my money has been refunded, and i mailed them regarding this but didnot even got proper reply from them.even i called the customer care executives and they are speaking in hindi which i dont understand.they didnot even asked my train details like pnr number, ticket id, date of journey.please help us in getting my amount back sir/madam..

                    My pnr is [protected] (Travelling from tapri to jhansi in kalinga utkal exprss), i had asked 10 different cater boys for rail neer, but they are giving some local water bottle at rupees 20. And if you ask them ' why' they clearly says, " hm itne me hi denge lena h to lo. Irctc its a humble request from travellers, that make some strict rule against your catering service, these catering contractor or cater boys,

                      This is ridiculous. I was prompted with the message that you are not permitted to book more than 2 tickets using same ip address between 10am to 12.

                      I couldn't understand why i'm getting such a # message, when i was trying to book tickets with my system connected to mobile hotspot. And from past 5days i'haven't book any tickets.

                      To resolve the ip issue, i disconnected the internet connection from mobile hotspot and reconnected to my broadband with ethernet cable.
                      Still i was prompted the same message.

                      Simply can't understand whats is going on with irctc and their system.

                      Whoever want to fraud in ticket booking are still successfully doing. And people with genuine reasons are simply unable to book. It was urgent for me to book tickets. Now it's already over.

                      How will i get the tickets??

                      Very frustrating,,!!!

                        I am traveling in Rajdhani express from Bangalore to Bhopal. It's 10 pm in the night and the dinner has not been served yet, we are dying in hunger here. When I asked the staff, he said very rudely that you are not the only one, there are others as well

                        I have never seen this happening before, food used to get settled by 9 pm max. please look into the issue.

                        Hi,
                        Am wearing his complain to get some attention on the problem faced by thousands of people travelling in rajdhani express. Once the journey is coming to an end, catering stay comes and asks for the tip, they ask tip in commanding tone as if you are forced to give the tip. Tip is given when you like the service and are very happy with the hospitality. However, here, the food is bad, when you ask some questions like why is the food coming late, staff gives very rude answers, like one staff member told me that we are human beings, it takes time to serve. I completely understand that it may take time as the staff members might be less in number, however, how much time? There has to be a limit. I boarded the train at 8pm from bangalore and the dinner came at 10.15pm. There were childrens in the train and sadly they started crying because of hunger. One of the reason people travel in rajdhani is because in current world both the parent who's and they do not have time to prepare food for travel. They are playing a lot for food and on top of that food depress not get served on time. While i was about to get down, the staff member came and asked for tip, one of the fellow traveler who was sitting right in front of me was very generous and he gave inr 100 and said that it's from all o[censored]s (People from that isle), he took the money and still asked money from other isle members. It's not just this time, it happens every time and they argue if you do not give. I have seen that the ladies travelling alone gets afraid and give the amount as they think that not giving money can lead them in trouble.

                        I understand it is people responsibility as well to help the system by not giving the tip. However, it is easier said than done. You need to be in that situation to feel it. I urge irctc and government to take appropriate action. May be putting a notice in each compartment that giving tip is not recommended would help. The staff members are creating an aweful picture of our country with their behavior and it must be stopped.

                          My name is raju bhamkar. I had trying to book tatkal ticket on 25th march 2018 but ticket not booked and amount of 423.57rs deducted from my bank account. I choose payment mode atom visa (Bharat qr), payment had successful but pnr (Ticket) not generated.

                          One month had passed but not received any refund amount in my bank account. Their customer support is very bad no proper replies no respect for customers.
                          No positive mail and refund received from irctc but lot of ticket id received which are totaly waste. They are wasted my time to mail them and call their support team.

                                We were travelling in 16032 train. Unfortunately my daughter had left her bag in train. One co passenger found it banded over to tte. He deposited it in jhansi station. Very next day i collected the bag except cash (3300rs). It was deposited in jhansi station. As per their suggestion i applied for refund in ncr allahabad through speed post dt on 13/3/18 attaching all required documents. Till date cash not refund.in between i submitted complain in irctc.in spite of several regular follow up they are not taken any step so that issue could be stopped. Pnr no [protected]. Coach no b2. Birth no42, 43, 45. My humble request to you pls. Varify the case and do needful action. Thanks.

                                  We had booked e-ticket for outward journey from mysore city jn to hubli city jn on 18.04.2018 in ac-3. It was in waiting list 4.

                                  On 18.4.18, i went to railway station by a taxi and boarded the train only to be told by tte later that the e-ticket has not been confirmed and that i should ger down and buy a general ticket and travel, if at all i wanted to travel. He expressed his inability to help me out in any other way. When i asked about the refund of my e-ticket amount, i was told that the ticket will automatically get cancelled and that the refund will be credited to the account from which payment was initiated.

                                  But till date, amount is not credited to the account.

                                  The pnr no was [protected], trn-17301, doj -18.04.2018, mys-ubl dep22.30 fare rs.465. Manjunath, wl 10, moved to wl-4 by dt of journey.

                                  Please resolve the issue and get my redund.

                                  Overcharging morw than the price list on snacks and biscuits on Platform 8 VISAKHAPATNAM.STALL NUMBER-C8 NEW3.
                                  Even in this advance socity we r still facing delay in trains that to 3:45min. No communication to the travelar. After coming to station we have to wait and no proper service give for that.

                                  You should be ashamed to be one of our mode of transport.

                                    I booked railway ticketing in irctc online transaction. I got a mail from irctc thay are refund amount of rs 1160 from zkpy bank pg but i could not get the bank.
                                    This is the mail from irctc

                                    Date of cancellation of e-ticket/date of failure of e-ticket booking:22 april 2018
                                    Refund processing date:23-apr-2018
                                    Refund amount:1160

                                      I booked tatkal ticket on 25th april for journey date of 26th april from mumbai to amritsar. Pnr is [protected]. I got a confirmed ticket.in evening when i checked into the pnr it was this ticket is released. I didnt get any cancellation message from irctc. And not even refund. This happened without my notice. If i would have got into train directly and then came to know i dont have seat booking, what would i have done in the middle of the journey. I demand for the justice and refund. Ticket charged me rs.3230 for ac 2 tier.

                                      any update on my complaint?? i need my refund as soon as possible. the ticket was released in evening and booking was done in morning. they should have provided me alternate accommodation. but neither accommodation nor any cancellation message. and no refund also. pls look into it.

                                        Dear all,
                                        I was not travelled on date 01/04/2018, train n.-22419, pnr n.-[protected], because train was delayed by more than 4hour, so i was filed the tdr at tdr filing date: 02-apr-2018 00:55:45 hrs.
                                        But irctc not refund my money and cancelled my request wrong reason given by irctc that, as per chart passenger was travelled, this is totally wrong.
