Sir/madam

My train 12307 was on Wed Jan 04(Sheduled departure 20:10:00) was at Agra fort station. I came to know that the train would be late more than 3 hrs.
so I filed TDR against My PNR Number [protected] and PNR Number [protected](TDR filing time :Wed Jan 04 18:18:48 IST 2017, and Wed Jan 04 18:17:34 IST 2017 respectively) before sheduled and actual departure of the train . As per railway rule for train late more than 3hrs, I had applied TDR before sheduled and actual departure of train, but it is repudiated by the Chief Commercial Manager/Refunds with reason of '' Invalid TDR stamp: delay''. Actual train depature time was about Thr Jan 05 3:00:00 which is almost more than 7 hrs late at Agra cant station. It is totally injustice.
Indian Railway Catering & Tourism Corporation [IRCTC] customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
On[protected], train no.12295 was indefinitely late of its scheduled departure time. So the refund of ticket fare was requested against my e-ticket PNR No.[protected], Tr. No. [protected], from SBC to PPTA, class-2nd AC, Coach A3, Berth 33, CNF. For this the CR registered by the railway and displayed in my e-ticket. I postponed journey.

    Hi support team,
    I have booked a tatkal ticket from ALD
    To ANVT for Train No./Name: 22427/BHRIGU SF EXP on Date of Booking: 10-Dec-2016 and Date of Journey: 12-Dec-2016.
    For reason train delayed more than 3 hours and
    The passenger has not traveled, i filled the tdr
    For the same in irctc against my ticket and the
    Status was turned to cr registered, but the
    Amount was not refunded yet.
    I am not sure what else i might be missing to
    Get amount refunded. Please let me know what i
    Can do further or else you can drop a mail to [protected]@gmail.com

      I booked ticket in Train No.- 22824 from bokaro steel city(BKSC) to Bhubaneswar (BBS) on 28-Dec-2016. The train was more than 12 hrs late. On 27-Dec-2016, I filed TDR before actual departure yet not received the amount. When I checked my TDR status it was written as CR REPUDIATE. It is requested to look into the matter and clear the amount as soon as possible.

      The necessary details are as below,

        I have discontinued using my older number and am trying to update my new number.

        However, every time I try to do this, it gives an error (Screenshot below). All my e-wallet money is on hold since I cannot receive the OTP on my current number.

        I have tried contacting irctc over email at least 4 times in last one month but no response.

        I have tried contacting irctc over phone on all three customer care numbers but no one answers/says all executives are busy, call later.

          I had booked two tickets from Aljn to. Amh on 28/12/2016 PNR NO.[protected] TRANS ID. [protected] . Due to some inconvenience train was cancelled on that day. Some day ago I mail to [protected]@irctc about the refundable of fee But till the date I haven't received any money I haven't seen such type of service from irctc near about 12_13 day have past

              Dear sir,

              I had booked a tatkal ticket with PNR # [protected] (Chhatisgarh Express) for travelling from bhopal to bilaspur on 16.12.2016. the train was late (more than 10 hours). After cheking The status of train at around 04:00 pm I had filed the TDR citing the reason that the train is late more than 03 hours and hence i shall not travel by this train my ticket amount shall be refunded in my account.
              Thereafter I received an email from Chief Commercial Manager/Refunds ([protected]@irctc.co.in) on 21.12.2016 stating that your refund has been repudiated without mentioning any reason.
              After that I had sent request regarding the refund for the same to [protected]@irctc.co.in vide email dtd. 27.12.2016, 03.01.2017 and 09.01.2017 to but neither did I receive my refund nor any reply from IRCTC.

              Hence it is requested to please help me in getting my refund as this is absolutely unethical and unprofessional behaviour of IRCTC for not refunding the money eventhough the train was running late for more than 10 hours.

                I have been trying to contact them through email and phone which gone in vein.

                Chennai Helpline works and they never pick the calls. This is worst response from the team.

                  I was booking a Rail sway ticket from using my net banking account, but I was not successful.

                    I had booked ticket dated :[protected] Delhi to Akbarpur Kafiyat Express PNR NO.[protected]...and that too got cancelled, but since that period demonitisation (NOTEBANDI) was going on as directed by Indian Govt. so i was asked to fill the form of TDR and amount to be refunded back on my bank account ...not even me but all the fellow passengers who cancelled there tickets did the same ...but sadly i have not received the cancelled amount in my account till date ...im attaching all the applications, , , , forms and tickets which i have submitted while cancelling my tickets ...please go through the matter and refund the amount back on the account number as filled in the application.

                      I have booked ticket in IRCTC website for Secunderabad to Bangalore City for 04th January, 2017 for train 22692 Rajadhani Express. On 4th of January The origianal schedule departure of train from secunderabad railway station is 18:50 but the actual departure is 1:00 AM on 5th January. The train is late for 6 hours. So i have filed a TDR on the 04th Evening itself and i have chosen other train to reach bangalore. They have sent me a mail on 09th January, 2017 stating that the refund amount of "1310" has been issued from concerned railway zone. But from the Amendment refund rules of indian railways Clause No.13(point no.13) it states that if a person is not travelled due to delay of train for more than 3 hours and if TDR is filed before Departure of train then full refund of fare including clerkage should be issued. Please help me. Please refund my full amount.

                          I booked a two ticket online on irctc for alahabad jn to darbhanga jn on 19th December.                             Sir / Madam,

                            My name is Debashish. I have booked sleeper class ticket in UTTAR S KRANTI (train no=12446) from SHMATA VD KATRA (SVDK) to NEW DELHI (NDLS), journey date = 08-dec-2016 which I cancelled online on 6-dec-16.
                            The refund status shown on website that the amount has been refunded but I didn't get the amount on my account yet. I checked my bank account details several times but no amount received. I have asked to contact HDFC Bank branch . They have told me that amount not received by Bank.
                            I am sending details, Please check it and revert me soon..

                              I have booked a ticket from habibganj to h. Nizamuddin on 26 nov 2016. Due to personal reasons i have cancelled the ticket on 02-dec-2016. The ticket has been cancelled successfully, and in the cancelled ticket option it is showing (Still) "sent to bank" but amount still not refunded back to the account. I have asked to contact ubi bank branch. They have told me that amount not received by bank.

                                My name is achiket singh. I booked my ticket on 20 aug 2016 in tatkal quota from varanasi jn (Bsb) to barh jn (Barh) in train no. 13050/asr hwh exp.
                                The train was running late for more than 3 hours so i filed tdr and i didn't travel on my ticket.

                                    For online booking of railway tickets, i have use my sbi atm card no-[protected] on 03.01.2017 vide bil/[protected] but ticket was nt generated, so i wait for 1day but i was not received ticket after that i check all reveiws of irctc, that i know in that kind of situation it is refunded in 3-4days & i have to travel on 8.01.2017 ao again i book a ticket on 04.01.2017 & that time pnr is generated. But since 5days left but money is refunded of 1st transaction.

                                      This is an incident i would like to describe when i was travelling from delhi to bengaluru in Karnatak Samparkranti express.
                                      i saw the food being thrown out on tracks from the train after the lunch was over.
                                      i was asleep so went to pantry to get some food then i saw this.the worker threw about 50-70 packets in front of me.
                                      as i was hungry i asked for one instead of throwing, paid for it. asked to save one for later till i finish the one i took.he instead threw all of them, it was feasible for him to throw all instead giving it to me.
                                      i walked to the manager and asked why the food is being thrown, on which he said that they do not serve the same food in next meal.
                                      i asked them why they dont distribute those packets to poors instead of throwing, he said that we are not supposed to do that.
                                      so being a person who saw the food being thrown in a country where many people do not get a chance to have even single meal in a day, was very upsetting.
                                      this is really a shame of wasting food for indian railway catering, as it was just an example of one train so we can imagine how much food is being wasted on a daily basis.
                                      i would request you to please take this complaint seriously and stop this being done.
                                      "MONEY IS OURS BUT THE RESOURCES ARE LESS"
                                      this can be prevented in many ways..
                                      - cooking the food on pre order basis.
                                      - forwarding the left over food at next railway stations and collecting them and distributing to poors.
                                      - i[censored] dont want to do the above you can distribute to passengers at half cost, they will be happy to have it.
                                      and i am sure there will be a lot more sugesstions that you will get to use that left over food when u take this seriously.

                                      please everyone this is really not good and should not be happeneing.
                                      wasting food is a shame.please do something about this.
