I have discontinued using my older number and am trying to update my new number.

However, every time I try to do this, it gives an error (Screenshot below). All my e-wallet money is on hold since I cannot receive the OTP on my current number.

I have tried contacting irctc over email at least 4 times in last one month but no response.

I have tried contacting irctc over phone on all three customer care numbers but no one answers/says all executives are busy, call later.

    I had booked two tickets from Aljn to. Amh on 28/12/2016 PNR NO.[protected] TRANS ID. [protected] . Due to some inconvenience train was cancelled on that day. Some day ago I mail to [protected]@irctc about the refundable of fee But till the date I haven't received any money I haven't seen such type of service from irctc near about 12_13 day have past
    So please refund my fare fee

      I had planned a trip to Mookambika on 30 Dec, 2016. As all my tickets were on waiting list, I cancelled the same.I have not received refund on the cancelled tickets in my bank account. These tickets were booked using my federal bank debit card using www.irctc.co.in website. The following tickets were cancelled

        Dear sir,

        I had booked a tatkal ticket with PNR # [protected] (Chhatisgarh Express) for travelling from bhopal to bilaspur on 16.12.2016. the train was late (more than 10 hours). After cheking The status of train at around 04:00 pm I had filed the TDR citing the reason that the train is late more than 03 hours and hence i shall not travel by this train my ticket amount shall be refunded in my account.
        Thereafter I received an email from Chief Commercial Manager/Refunds ([protected]@irctc.co.in) on 21.12.2016 stating that your refund has been repudiated without mentioning any reason.
        After that I had sent request regarding the refund for the same to [protected]@irctc.co.in vide email dtd. 27.12.2016, 03.01.2017 and 09.01.2017 to but neither did I receive my refund nor any reply from IRCTC.

        Hence it is requested to please help me in getting my refund as this is absolutely unethical and unprofessional behaviour of IRCTC for not refunding the money eventhough the train was running late for more than 10 hours.

          I have been trying to contact them through email and phone which gone in vein.

          Chennai Helpline works and they never pick the calls. This is worst response from the team.

            IRCTC — Complaints against irctc
            Respected Sir/Madam,

            I was booking a Rail sway ticket from using my net banking account, but I was not successful.
            After that I checked my account there were reduce my balance of RS. 4821/-
            I am trying to calling irctc's helpline number but there is no response.
            what should I do.

              Hello,

              I had booked ticket dated :[protected] Delhi to Akbarpur Kafiyat Express PNR NO.[protected]...and that too got cancelled, but since that period demonitisation (NOTEBANDI) was going on as directed by Indian Govt. so i was asked to fill the form of TDR and amount to be refunded back on my bank account ...not even me but all the fellow passengers who cancelled there tickets did the same ...but sadly i have not received the cancelled amount in my account till date ...im attaching all the applications, , , , forms and tickets which i have submitted while cancelling my tickets ...please go through the matter and refund the amount back on the account number as filled in the application.

                I have booked ticket in IRCTC website for Secunderabad to Bangalore City for 04th January, 2017 for train 22692 Rajadhani Express. On 4th of January The origianal schedule departure of train from secunderabad railway station is 18:50 but the actual departure is 1:00 AM on 5th January. The train is late for 6 hours. So i have filed a TDR on the 04th Evening itself and i have chosen other train to reach bangalore. They have sent me a mail on 09th January, 2017 stating that the refund amount of "1310" has been issued from concerned railway zone. But from the Amendment refund rules of indian railways Clause No.13(point no.13) it states that if a person is not travelled due to delay of train for more than 3 hours and if TDR is filed before Departure of train then full refund of fare including clerkage should be issued. Please help me. Please refund my full amount.

                  I Ngana Gongo and Manya Gongo booked 3 ticket from irctc application, but my ticket is not cut but my money is deducted from my account, and I paid Rs 2082 but my ticket is not booked nor message came.                     I booked a two ticket online on irctc for alahabad jn to darbhanga jn on 19th December. My journey date was 4th of january . but due to train running late for more then twenty hour so tried to cancel ticket on irctc but it was showing that its too late for this transaction..after that i filed tdr on 4th january evening time for which i got a mail on 9th january that where tdr status showing that CR Repudiate.kindly help me to get refund..

                    In train 16566 for 3 idly and one vada they are charging 60 rs.in station it is 40 rs only.i asked to show id card, they did show it.Morning time after Salem need to wait till kuppam to get breakfast from station.So we need to depend on food inside train.

                      My name is Debashish. I have booked sleeper class ticket in UTTAR S KRANTI (train no=12446) from SHMATA VD KATRA (SVDK) to NEW DELHI (NDLS), journey date = 08-dec-2016 which I cancelled online on 6-dec-16.
                      The refund status shown on website that the amount has been refunded but I didn't get the amount on my account yet. I checked my bank account details several times but no amount received. I have asked to contact HDFC Bank branch . They have told me that amount not received by Bank.
                      I am sending details, Please check it and revert me soon..

                        I have booked a ticket from habibganj to h. Nizamuddin on 26 nov 2016. Due to personal reasons i have cancelled the ticket on 02-dec-2016. The ticket has been cancelled successfully, and in the cancelled ticket option it is showing (Still) "sent to bank" but amount still not refunded back to the account. I have asked to contact ubi bank branch. They have told me that amount not received by bank.

                          My name is achiket singh. I booked my ticket on 20 aug 2016 in tatkal quota from varanasi jn (Bsb) to barh jn (Barh) in train no. 13050/asr hwh exp.
                          The train was running late for more than 3 hours so i filed tdr and i didn't travel on my ticket.

                              For online booking of railway tickets, i have use my sbi atm card no-[protected] on 03.01.2017 vide bil/[protected] but ticket was nt generated, so i wait for 1day but i was not received ticket after that i check all reveiws of irctc, that i know in that kind of situation it is refunded in 3-4days & i have to travel on 8.01.2017 ao again i book a ticket on 04.01.2017 & that time pnr is generated. But since 5days left but money is refunded of 1st transaction.

                              So kindly do the needfull to get back my money back without any deduction

                                This is an incident i would like to describe when i was travelling from delhi to bengaluru in Karnatak Samparkranti express.
                                i saw the food being thrown out on tracks from the train after the lunch was over.
                                i was asleep so went to pantry to get some food then i saw this.the worker threw about 50-70 packets in front of me.
                                as i was hungry i asked for one instead of throwing, paid for it. asked to save one for later till i finish the one i took.he instead threw all of them, it was feasible for him to throw all instead giving it to me.
                                i walked to the manager and asked why the food is being thrown, on which he said that they do not serve the same food in next meal.
                                i asked them why they dont distribute those packets to poors instead of throwing, he said that we are not supposed to do that.
                                so being a person who saw the food being thrown in a country where many people do not get a chance to have even single meal in a day, was very upsetting.
                                this is really a shame of wasting food for indian railway catering, as it was just an example of one train so we can imagine how much food is being wasted on a daily basis.
                                i would request you to please take this complaint seriously and stop this being done.
                                "MONEY IS OURS BUT THE RESOURCES ARE LESS"
                                this can be prevented in many ways..
                                - cooking the food on pre order basis.
                                - forwarding the left over food at next railway stations and collecting them and distributing to poors.
                                - i[censored] dont want to do the above you can distribute to passengers at half cost, they will be happy to have it.
                                and i am sure there will be a lot more sugesstions that you will get to use that left over food when u take this seriously.

                                please everyone this is really not good and should not be happeneing.
                                wasting food is a shame.please do something about this.

                                    Hi,

                                    I booked the train ticket (Pnr no [protected]) for the journey on mon jan 02 23:25:00 ist 2017.
                                    But my train was delayed more than +6hr and same info was announced at railway station as well.
                                    Also at the same time spot train info showing train may delayed 12+ hr. So i took another train and i filed tdr (For pnr no [protected]) before train departure at that station.

                                    But tdr status showing as below

                                    “reason for tdr registration failed: invalid tdr timestmap : delay “

                                    Reason for tdr rejection looks false. So please check and refund the money or do needful in this.

                                    In case if am wrong please let me know the reason.

                                    Rule is like “tdr to be filed within two hours of actual departure of the train in case of confirmed tickets”.
                                    In my scenario, its looks like system calculated the time based on scheduled departure time. But it should calculate departure time. One more info 2nd jan few trains are cancelled and so many trains got delayed (More then 20+ trains).

                                    So please do needful in this.

                                      My husband had booked on 07th oct’16 my ticket vide pnr number [protected] and on 03rd jan’16 vide pnr no.[protected] for train number 12658 and date of journey is 04.01.17 total of 5 persons and the departure time was 22:40

                                      On (04.01.17) when i reached the railway station around 10.15 pm with my family including 76 year old mother, 2sons and my husband. I saw the message that the train was rescheduled to 05.01.17 at 6.30 am.

                                      I was totally shocked and decided to book a ticket to return to chennai in some other train but we could not get any confirmed ticket. We have to return immediately because my son is studying in class xii had important class on that day and my husband had meeting in his office on 05.01.17, so we planned to return to chennai by bus. We had language problem to ask the auto wala after great difficulty we asked them to drop at ksrtc bus stand. When we reached around 11.00 and tried so many buses for tickets. Cash was another problem and finally we got one bus, the seats were not comfortable for senior citizen and she faced lot of problem in the bus.

                                      In this situation, we had faced lot of problem which could not be explained here. When we tried to to cancel the ticket it did not get cancelled it replied that we cannot cancel the ticket because the chart was prepared.

                                      In this modern world we have lot of advanced communication systems eventhough why it was not informed by irctc. I was totally feeling unsecured and afraid because of the incident which had happend 3 days before in bangalore.

                                      I have paid auto charges of rs.500/- to reach bus stand and for the bus fare from bangalore to chennai rs.3200/- (Rs.640/- per head)

                                      I request irctc to reimburse the amount of rs.3700/- and my ticket amount for both the pnr.

                                        I am a 63 year old senior citizen and despite the train (Garib Rath)having over 240 available seats and me giving lower birth as a preference on the Garib Rath train, I got a side upper confirmed seat.

                                        I booked an e ticket through the IRCTC application and this is the 2nd time that this is happening.

                                        Please consider the difficulty that people like me go through as senior citizens.
