It is sad to acknowledge you that i lost an amount of 3100 indian rupees while booking ticket through your online portal
Being unable to be notified of any action in the process.
I was trying to reserve ticket from kasaragod to banglore central.
Furthur to this i was notified of being charged rs. 3100 for the same, unfortunately i didnt recieve any confirmation of booking the seats.

Correction in the money lost

As far as now
Rs.3465
I was booking ticket from jind jn to ndls by irctc site . Transaction completed and money worth Rs1037 is also deducted from the account but not got the seat reserved and no pnr is given, it showed no seats available.
My transaction id is IRCTC txn#[protected].
Return my money as soon as possible .

    Since last one year, i'm facing a great problem in sign in of irctc. I put the accurate captcha, but it showing incorrect captcha. Some times site opens, but on clicking a menu, it immediately logs out.
    Why should we pay a descent money on booking ticket as service tax to irctc? The site mal functions maximum times, then why government is not looking after it. Prices are increasing, but service is becoming poorer day by day.

      We are traveling in B2 compartment of golden temple mail with pnr no [protected] .the door near to our seats cant automatically close wen left open which is leading to inefficient cooling of the compartment as well as bad smell from toilet side persisting in our compartment.

      Kindly pay attention and resolve this issue as soon as possible.

          Last week i was traveling to dehradun from ndls ddn shatabdi on 18-oct-2016 the train was around 40 mins late. Today that is 25 oct 2016 i'm traveling to jalandhar from ndls amritsar shatabdi and it is 40 mins late again.
          What is the use of declaring of speeding up the shatabdi's speed if still you can't provide the services online time. Why are the prices being hiked for?
          If the shatabdis have to be late by 40-50 mins why are prices being increased if you can't manage things well you there's no point of increasing prices and fooling the customers.

              I have booked two tickets i. E 3 passenger in train 12328/upasana express
              On 22 july 2016 in tatakal in sleeper class from dehradun to lucknow. But train is late more than 3 hours from dehradun on 23 july 2016.

              So i submit tdr for both the tickets and passengers have not travelled on 23 july 2016. I have not get any refund.

                Hi,

                I have cancelled 3 tickets which are cost of 1170 before 25+ days of journey.
                And cancellation fee it took around 360.
                One bad thing being a govt company why irctc is charging high cancellation fee.

                Am expecting less cancellation fee as resolution because we middle class or poor people will prefer ictc because of less fares, but when government itself deducting huge amount of money as cancellation fee we are loosing trust towards govt.

                And also observered krishi kalyan cess, swatch bharat cess are applicable on all purchases. If government can explain what are they doing what that money in detail.

                  I was booked a ticket from BBS to ROU for date 07/10/2016, on the day of booking my ticket status was W/L65. After that I got a message RC-26 status on 04th Oct 2016 . But on the day of journey ie 7th oct 2016 I haven't received any confirmation message from irctc site about my ticket status. for this reason I was missed my train and faced lots of problem. As a women and in festival time it is very sad that I got train due to this negligence from irctc site.

                  It had gone 3 month but my amount is not credited in my Account. My PNR Number [protected] for reason"Train Late More Than Three Hours and Passenger Not Traveled.", and the Reference No for this is :[protected] so kindly requested to you credited it by the same as soon as possible.

                      Myself (Ronnie Brooks Chatterjee) and my wife (Dipasree Chatterjee) held a confirmed ticket with berth no.15 & 16 and coach no. B1 reservation in 3AC Train No. 13006 date of journey 04/10/2016 from Amritsar to Howrah. The train was scheduled to leave at 6:45 pm from Amritsar Station and we arrived at Amritsar Station at 3:15 pm. With no prior information suddenly, at 5:45 pm several announcements were made in the station that the train is cancelled for passengers holding tickets for 4th Oct, 2016 for Amritsar Howrah Mail. Passengers were requested to cancel their tickets and make other alternatives for travel. We formed a que with other passengers for refund of our fare.. when we reached the counter we were told e-ticket holders will get automatic refund into their bank accounts..counter ticket passengers were refunded full fare in cash at Amrtisar Station Counter. We were helped with no other information and there was no proper assistance from Amritsar Station inquiry. With high tension, mental agony we were forced into several inconvenient situations. At this point, we were in severe jeopardy and had no idea how with our heavy luggage and family will head back home to Howrah.

                      Since we returned, we constantly called customer care at IRCTC and was told the full refund of fare will be made to our bank account within 90 days. At this point I have no other alternative, but to email you with all my information and request you to kindly refund my full fare Rs.3766/- to my bank account immediately. It is not fair and total injustice that one group of passengers will get instant refund of fare since they booked from counter and the online customers (like me) will have to wait indefinitely with no proper time frame.

                      All information is provided below in my e-ticket, for your full investigation in my favour. Kindly refund my full fare to my bank account.

                        This complaint is based on feedback from my my wife, who was travelling from Delhi to Chandigarh via Shatabdi express (12005) on 23 Oct'16..
                        The feedback she gave was to the worst ever heard by me, and pics she shared are evidence of the true pathetic condition of railways, even in the luxury trains like of Shatabdi..

                        The coach C1 had nearly non working LCD screens, the snacks served (Kachori) was hard enough to tighten the loosen screws of the tray table at the seats, sandwich was at least two days old &smelly and top of it, no one was ready in the train to accept the poor feedback... Should that be typically 'non-empathetic' attitude or what... I don't know.. But for sure, this surge pricing system has no benefit to the railways customers... Would Northern Railways be willing to act on this.. or provide suitable compensation...

                        I leave it to the forum and management of the Indian railways...

                          THERE ARE UNAUTHORIZED VENDORS IN THIS TRAIN wearing RAILWAY CATERING UNIFORM. They board the train at pun station.
                          They are duping the passengers by selling poor quality and unhygienic food in the name of railway .

                            Hi,

                            My IRCTC online account got deactivated as I was not using it regularly. Recently I tried to access my account and failed as it is deactive. I tried to create a new account but failed again as IRCTC is not allowing to register again with the same mobile number. My concern here is once an account is deactive IRCTC should allow to recreate a new account with same number or alteast reactivate the same old account if customer comes back. When contacted IRCTC, they simply asked me to register with some other mobile number. Now Iam not ready to take a new mobile connection for IRCTC. Complaint no. registered IRCTC #4191396

                              I have booked ticket on 26 Oct from Chennai Egmore to Trivandrum Central. But the ticket not booked as it showed error in booking. But the money has been deducted from my bank account. I tried to book the same ticket again after sometime and same happened. Please arrange to refund the total amount of Rs.1965.86 (Rs. 982.93+982.93) in same account.

                                I want to travel in 11463 from surendranagar to vadodara on 21/10/2016. so i open my irctc account and i was showing timing and availability of sit for this train. i saw there was no sit available in 3A in general quota. so i reserved sit in tatkal quota. There was showing 23 sit available in tatkal quota. so i booked sit in tatkal. But after some hours i again check availability of sits. I am wonder there was showing me 57 sits available in general quota. so i simply request you to take some action on this issue. And also i want my extra charge of tatkal quota. If irctc will not take any reaction than i have to. I attached one pic showing that charting done. see my screen shot timings and train timings.

                                  Last 4 month IRCTC harassing me against PNR-[protected] where travel cancel due to"Train Late More Than Three Hours and Passenger Not Traveled.", and i file TDR. During this period i call many times to Eastern(Phone:[protected] and IRCTC (Ph[protected]/[protected] but not refund my amount.I also drop many mail to [protected]@ecr.railnet.gov.in, [protected]@irctc.co.in, & [protected]@irctc.co.in and many other concern persons about this but he telling your TDR is under process but as per railway refund rule TDR resolve date is maximum 90 days.

                                  So kindly requested to you resolve it as soon as possible.

                                      I have tried to book three tickets for the same trains on the same dates for my parents in a hope that i will get lower berth seats. But unfortunately, even though they had 50 seats available, i did not get even one lower berth seat. This is really unfair. At least there should be an option for to give tickets if preferred berth is not available or system should inform earlier that preferred berth is not available. Now i have incurred a loss of 700 bucks just for trying lower berth.

                                        Very strange to see that I have booked my mothers Rail ticket ( IRCTC ) multiple times over the last 2 years and in-spite she being Senior Citizen lady passenger, shez always been allotted SU Side Upper.
                                        Now this time again she is travelling alone & i have booked the following and same allotment-
                                        [protected] Sealdah to NDelhi / PNR [protected]
                                        [protected] NDelhi to Howrah / PNR [protected]

                                        Requesting the authority to look into the matter and allot a lower seat.

                                        I forget my user name my mobile is [protected] and my mail id is ([protected]@yahoo.in)

                                        what I do for recover my IRCTC id

                                        I try to create a new id but site is given error (This no is already registered ) please provide the solution
                                        I have cancelled a ticket on 5th of october 2016 in 3AC in mewar express with PNR [protected]. I recieved a messege stating 'Your Tkt Cancelled. PNR,
                                        [protected], Amt 1030 will be refunded in your account.' But it's been 15th of October now and I have not received my money back . kindly resolve this issue please.
