As per new refund rules railway is dedcting te clerkage charges of Rs 60 on waitlist tickets being cancelled prior to the scheduled train even for second sitting class.
But I want to raise complaint against IRCTC that for E-ticket in case of waitlist they are deducting clerkage charge even when auto cancelling of your ticket.
IRCTC is taking service charges while booking the tickets and deducting clerkage charges even when auto cancelling our waitlist tickets.
I am not able to understand that why IRCTC is cancelling my waitlist ticket in auto and also deducting the clerkage charges at same time.

They are veg meal at 100rs and egg at 120 and chicken meal at 150 . They are also serving water bottle without cooling at 20 rs ( irctc water bottle). If we are asking they are shouting and also they are not supplying even water bottle at needy times

    I have been trying for last 4 days to book train ticket from bikaner to delhi .
    But it seems like the website of irctc is nothing but a cruel joke to the passengers.
    Every single site in world can be opened, except IRCTC .
    Why dont you shut down this utter stupid piece of crap .
    Let the agents keep on looting people freely, as it is already going on .

      I came to chalakudy railway station to drop my sister on 8th Aug 2016. Since it was night time around 3-4 am, I thought of staying there until my sister leaves. It was for Malabar express and the train was late for 2 hours that day. I checked in net and came to chalakudi station when the train reached Irinjalakuda.Since the train was coming to the first platform and its almost reached, I thought of having a tea near the ticket counter. At that time one guy named Niju (he himself told me his name as Niju, Station master was also there with him) asked me the ticket. I told that I didn't entered platform.But he put me a fine of 260 rs for not taking platform ticket. Actually there was an issue happened between me and the parking people in Chalakudy station. I was not knowing that it was a revenge, but after coming outside the parking area people told about the fine what I have given...Indian Railway is not suppose to be for doing revenge...I need my money back and need to give a warning for doing such illegal activity.

        Dear Sir/Madam, I (Hemant Kumar) had booked a ticket from ANVT to PNBE journey date 10-Aug-2016, but the train got late by 12 hours. The train started on[protected]:15 Hrs while I had filed the TDR on 11-Aug-2016 06:38:10 HRS. The status of TDR showing CR Repudiate. I was waiting for the train but the train got late so much so I have filled the TDR little late. Please help me on this asap. As per rule total amount of ticket should be refunded if the train gets late more than 3 hours.           I raised complaint in IRCTC and the complaint was ssigned aticket ID [IRCTC #3868723] but no reply is given

          Please specify why I got no refund for cancellation of ticket against PNR Number: [protected] .As the ticket was booked on 16Th Aug 2016 for journey on 18 Th Aug 2016. In no case a tatkal ticket can be booked before 2 days of date of journey. so I thought it to be normal ticket. i spoke to IRCTC customer Care executive they say it's a long train . And time of tatkal should be calculated from day of origin station. Tatkal ticket cancellation rules say 24 hours before date of journey and not the time from origin station. These information are no where written in tatkal ticket cancellation rules. The rules must specify these things. When I am getting harrased I am knowing these things.

          For error in system from your end why should Customer be penalised.

          Please refund cancellation amount, if required escalate the issue or I shall take up matter with legal court.

              I had booked 9 train tickets of puri jagannath express on 5th august and canceled them on that day. though i had received the cancellation sms on my phone same day, i have not get back my money yet now.
              i made payment through SBI Debit card.
              Please tell me when and how can i get my money back soon? And give me Diraction How to receive the refund from irctc?

                When travelling from Kochuveli to Bangalore on the 21st Aug.2016 the following was noticed.
                1.The compartments were very old and pathetic.
                2.The toilets were already stinking from the starting point.
                3.The curtains in the coach were badly torn.
                4.The Air conditioning was being switched off at night.
                5.Only one plug point for charging mobile phones in each section of 6 passengers.
                6.The dustbins were damaged and in poor condition.
                After paying high charges for a berth in the 2nd AC coach one would expect much better facilities from the Railways. Hope there is a marked improvement in the quality of the coaches operating in the southern sector after this complaint.

                  I was traveling from Nagpur to Pune in Azad hind express 12130 on 15-Aug-2016 PNR no. [protected] and in morning pantry car tea vendor sold me about tea of 10 rs instead of 7 rs. When I asked him to return me the 3rs change he arrogantly said it costs rs10 and said go and complaint wherever you want to. Pune station was about to come and I was in hurry to get my luggage out so I didn't complain about this matter immediately to any TC also I was traveling with my family and did not want any kind of trouble at that time. Its not about the matter of 3rs, its the matter of attitude of that pantry vendors have and they don't even fear of complaints.

                      I booked a tatkal ticket using E-wallet option. There was a failed transaction in my account with E-wallet but the amount was not refunded. I could not see anything in the refund status and there is not e-mail confirmation on what happened to the money.

                      They agreed that there was no intimation from payment gateway regarding the failure and so they could not do the automated refund. now I received the amount back to my account. But it is really bad to see this kind of explanation from IRCTC and very poor testing happened in payment gateway and no security for money.

                        The tdr filed against pnr number [protected] with reason party partially confirmed/waitlisted and waitlisted passengers did not travel.
                        As i recieved the information to file tdr by calling at irctc helpline no.[protected],
                        I filed tdr as on 06 july, 2016 at 20:53:46 but they had not said me to collect non travel certificate against wl/rac passenger, as i have no any such kind of information how could i get to know this all process.
                        I am a simple user belongs to a middle class family. the amount may be small to you but this is really big for me.
                        Is there my only mistake to book ticket online and pay more service charges, and in return i have to tolerate for refund. when i bpooked the ticket you should send this with the ticket at my email, so i can get all the information at proper time, even you did not send me any information when i file tdr.
                        I am requesting you please reopen my case for refund. i will very much thanksfull to you

                          Hello i m deep before i booked my seat in train number 12217 sampark kranti express kochiveli kerala to chandigarh i have three complaint on this train frst one is bcz now raining session to much rain in south side but this train window mirror not properly closing downside have space then all rain water coming inside second is this train inside roof no good no clean rat rounding inside train no good bed third is washroom no neat and clean...

                          Please see below mail and it is almost seven months, i am yet to get refund for untraveled journey ticket from irctc, despite of mail.

                          Dear customer,


                          Your tdr requested against pnr no.[protected] has been forwarded to northern railway (Nr) on 03-feb-2016. Irctc not received refund from northern railway (Nr). Once refund is received from northern railway (Nr) the same will be credited back to your account.

                          Your complaint further referred to northern railway (Nr) through e-mail id "[protected]@claims. Indianrail.gov.in".

                          Please note that the decision about the repudiation/ rejection or amount of refund has been taken by the concerned zonal railways as per extant refund rules of indian railways and not by irctc.

                          Inconvenience caused is deeply regretted

                              Its great to see indian railways has progressed a lot. I travelled in rabti sagar pnr[protected] from erode to chennai on friday 12th august coach b1 seat no 34, 35, 38.. Then i requested tte for other place, he gave us b2 57, 58, 59. I requested for blankets and pillows, the coach attender was rude and he didn't provide us. I explained everything to him, yet no response. My kids slept without pillows and blankets. I kindly need a explanation for what has happened. Please look into the matter. Thanks.

                                  On 15.8.2016, i online cancelled pnr [protected], its refund not yet credited in my bank a/c. Irctc claim to have issued refund instructions to its payment gateway. Further, irctc not interested to look into this issue, where and how refund is still missing in network of irctc?? I have repeatedly contacted helpdesk - customer care irctc online & every time they say that refund claim has been sent to its payment gateway. I m senior citizen. Pl help me & to ensure credit of refund in my a/c soonest.

                                    There is no price chart available in the coaches, for which the passengers are not getting the correct price for items by caterers providing food, water, snacks. Some examples are:

                                    water bottle is charged for rs.20/- (instead of rs.15/-)
                                    tea is charged for rs.10/- (instead of rs.7/-)
                                    frooti charges for rs.20/-(instead of rs.15/-)
                                    veg meals are provided for rs.120/-

                                    hence it is earnestly requested to provide the price chart in each & every coach & as it was done in the stations kiosks.

                                      I had asked for boiled veg food, the caterer took order thrice and in the end at 10:00 pm, refused to serve such meals and made me go hungry.
                                      I am still in the train, it is 8:00 am and no tea is served.
                                      These new caterers are not properly trained and can not maintain quality service in such premium trains also.
                                      The flush in the right side toilet is also not working, this implies poor maintainance.
                                      Kindly take necessary actions, as we are loosing faith in the quality of your services
                                      Indian Railway Catering & Tourism Corporation [IRCTC] customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
                                      I'm complaining about the OTP not received by my docomo or aircel cell no. during the mobile verification step of new registration. Please solve this issue asap. It is a matter of pride for our Indian railway as people are facing the trouble.
