I wanted to book tatkal ticket from my personal id, as soon as i logged it to book, there is an error popping up saying only 2 tickets permitted per ip address. Just then i had logged in, how will i book the tickets within 2 mins? It was really required for me because i m travelling with a small baby. I m really disappointed with this.
I tried created another log in id but it is taking so long to receive the otp to verify the account.

    Tried to book a train booking for the 8/13/2016.

    There has been no booking from the same pc or ip address.

    Whereas while booking a ticket it shows an error message of

    "you are permitted to book only 2 tatkal tickets between 10am to 12pm per ip address".

    Actually speaking no bookings have been made from this id.

    Hence tried to use a different system and a different id, the plight is the same.

    Why this bias? Either discard internet tatkal bookings totally and communicate the same to the public in advance so that necessary arrangements can be made.

        Dear sir/madam,

        I had booked ticket from chennai to thanjavur with doj on 14th august 2016 with second sitting. Pnr no - [protected]. I cancelled the ticket on 11 august 2016 as it is not confirmed. The refund amount is less than the originally booked amount. It shows some clerk-age charge of rs.60 is deducted.

        For wl ticket in second sitting, the clerk age charge is rs. 30. Excess of rs.30 has been deducted. Please refund the excessively deducted amount.

          Dear sir / mam,

          I am trying to book tatkal tickets from my personal irctc id, but error is coming which says "you are permitted only 2 transactions between 8 am to 10 am per ip address/user id"

          Surprisingly the error statement is completely wrong as i have not booked 2 tickets between 8 to 10 even not within a week.

          This is happening for all the users which i have discussed with. Kindly resolve at the earliest as this causes panic to the genuine users.

            I'm traveling in this Indore Amritsar express 19325
            Plz check the attached video! Atleast train your attendants to manage the linens properly! These dirty blankets are never ever dry cleaned this is what he told, also u can't just dump all these on the dirty floor! All my co passengers were also stunned! What standard is Indian Railways maintaining. Atleast when we pay we expect some services too! Really a shame
            Plz take a strict action against it

              I had booked an i/ticket through irctc portal on 31.7.2016for going to katra on 5.8.2016 & return on 8.8.2016, both the ticket were wait listed (my user-id is account_) pnr no. [protected] for 5.8.16 & [protected] for 8.8.16.in normal course of time the i/tickets are send through courier within 12 hours and its reaches the person within 24 hours.in my case also i got two message from irctc confirming that my tickets have been dispatched through "overnite courier" vide track nos [protected] & [protected]. but inspite of repeated persuasion and follow-up till 4.8.16 the tickets were not delivered,. on website it was showing "out for delivery" "but could not be delivered due to rain". here it is worth to mention that my house is just 3 km away from the local hub "okhla" of the courier company. it was very odd situation for me. i tries to contact irctc help line to sort out the matter and advise how can i travel if the tickets are not delivered before the outward journey date. but no proper reply was provided. at last at about 21.00hrs on 4.8.2016 the courier man came and delivered the tickets. here i want to know why this abnormal delay was taken place, who was responsible. there must be some system that in the case of non delivery of i/ticket the passenger can get a confirmation sms, (can be on specific request) so that at least he can perform the journey.

                I am regular customer of irctc and i used to book tickets for me and my husband frequently.
                Though we have never ever misused the irctc websites and have been a long time user to book my travel tickets without causing any misconduct, my account was suspended. I have been informed by irctc customer care that i should use different account with different mob number and email id. So then we started using my husband's account. But same thing happened with his account also. Then we tried with new mobile number and email id then with my brother's mob no and email id. Now all 4 accounts are suspended. It is really frustrating.. Without doing any fraud activity / misuse and without giving any notice our accounts are getting blocked. Also i was not informer that what fraud activity happened with all these 4 accounts. Also i realized that it is happening for my users.In a way it is helping irctc to stop fraud activities, but it is affecting genuine users also. Now i don't have different mobile number to register again and i don't want to do that because i lost hope in that. Please help me resolve this issue.

                    This is to inform you that i did not receive any kind senior citizen concession on my ticket booked from patna to bokaro steel city for 23rd aug, 2016 which i booked on 09th aug, 2016. (Pnr no.-[protected]). Total cost of the ticket amounted to rs.980 without any concessions
                    Kindly look into the matter and provide the refund asap as per irctc senior citizen concession norms.

                      (2) after preparation of charts, the user shall have to file online tdr for claiming refund. Irctc forward the case to concerned zonal railway on the basis of customer request through edr and enhance coaching refund system. The refund case will be decided by railways. The tdr can be filed by the same user who books the ticket. After receipt of the refund amount from railway, it shall be credited only in the same account through which booking was made through opted payment gateway. If by any reason you are unable to file tdr through website please mail to [protected]@irctc.Co.In. User can check tdr/refund status through tdr history. All refund will be process as per extent railway refund rules. Please refer refund rules here.
                      (3) any refund amount will be credited only in the same account through booking was made by user. Customer is advised not to close that account so that refund amount will be credited back.
                      For change of boarding station & change in name customer can now approach the nearest railway reservation office with electronic reservation slip print out and photo identity proof mentioned in the electronic reservation slip at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure of train as per existing railway rules.
                      Once you have cancelled your ticket, the fresh details and changes made by you will be available on the cancelled e-tickets history (As a link to site). The refund amount due to you after cancellation will be credited back to the same account which you had used for booking the ticket.

                          Hello sir, i have booked my ticket for new delhi to patna for date of journey 4/11/2016.In this ticket the fare of my 7 years son has been deducted but in the ticket the booking status is shown as no seat/birth avaialble whreas till date there is wait list ticket is available on sites.
                          As at the time of booking there are seats available hence requested to look into the matter and arrange to provide seat/birth as per norms.

                            Am shocked at the service of the railway officers who are not able to refund my money. Sir, its been a year since I filed my TDR. Me and my family were going to attend a function in patiala date 10 may 2015. The train "AMRITSAR EXPRESS" PNR. NO [protected] was scheduled at 4:30 am but because of some reasons it was 3-4 hours late, so we did not board the train and filed the TDR- REF.no EKT[protected] and Transaction no. [protected]. Its been a year and I want you to refund my money as soon as possible. I have called the office n number of times but to no avail.
                            I called the office and they rejected my appeal to refund my money. They are saying that we boarded the train and if not they want me to show them the proof that we went to patiala with some other conveyance but sir we did not go to patiala to attend the function. Sir, how can I give a proof of something that actually did not happened.
                            I want you to look in this matter immediately as it's been almost a year.
                            Sir please help a honest yet indignant person to get the money back.

                              I have booked two tickets from IRCTC.money was deducted but ticket not booked.I have mailed to IRCTC.subsequently I have received a mail from IRCTC that the money has been transferedto my account.I have checked my account and found that there is no such refund.Transaction no [protected], [protected], date 3/8/2016.train no 12393.amount 1003.

                                Quality of food is too bad and contacted with the restaurant personnel ...they told us that they made it in that day but after tasting it is dam sure it was previouse cooking. As a result no customers were there for lunch...at first we could not guess that why no one is there... ultimately we cant eat the lunch and at last loss of money...so I request not to do next time and dont cheat anyone like that tasteful food are there...thanks

                                    Visited the food outlet Food Express at Surat station platform no.1. The cashier Sunil Kumar charged me extra amount than that printed on the menu. I am enclosing the retail invoice and also photograph of the menu. They are not updating the menu prices and cheating the public. People will always order by looking at the prices of the printed menu as many people are running on tight budget. It is their responsibility to keep the menu updated.
                                    Indian Railway Catering & Tourism Corporation [IRCTC] customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
                                    Please close my id as it has been suspended thanks as I am not able to use my mobile for new registration.

                                      I am Sambhu Nath Adhikari, have an irctc account (sam_adin) and usually whenever I/we wish to travel I had booked my railway ticket from irctc. I had booked three tickets on june for october 2016. Now from last month I saw that I account is suspended due to "Use of autofill Scripts or Enormous hitting on site". I dont know their error message and for what it is raise. Then I am asking several times to let me know the exact reason behind this. They told me to open a new account with new mobile number and new email account. This is very funny that it is not necessary to someone have more than one mobile. I heard that so many people having this problem. So as a consumer I want know what is going on behind this?
