Transaction id is [protected] from icici bank saying transaction was successful but irctc has not issued the tickets. my ticket was booked today morning for ahmedabad from dadar but tickets haven't been booked or issued but irctc has deducted monet through icici bank transaction id is [protected]. please help and let me know whether tickets have been booked or not or refund will be issued and by when??

When i was booking my first ticket of the day in tatkal, an error message showed up which said that only two tatkal bookings are allowed between 10-12 per ip adress...how could that be ???? it was my first booking of the day...how can i exceed the limit without even booking one?

        Respected sir,
        I tried to book a ticket on 3rd june 2016 for a journey from quilon to ottapalam station with irctc's official app - 'irctc connect'. unfortunately during the transaction process some error occurred and the booking couldnt be completed. but an amount of rs.597 was debitted from my father's account. when i tried to get the train no. from the app i was shocked to know that its not even in the failed transaction list. the txn no of the transaction is:[protected]. please do something to initiate the refund process.

          Hello i booked 3 tickets with pnr: [protected] from bandra to unjha on 7/7/16 morning... after sometime i cancelled my tickets due to change in plan.. according to policy 180rs cancellation charges has been deducted, that is ok... but i haven't received the remaining refund yet infact i got the message on 8/7/16 that you have received a refund of rs795 but today when i checked the balance i haven't received any refund yet. what pathetic service, i want my refund of 795 back asap... and more worse is customer service, they don't even pick up the call.. i wasted my balance... irctc will never improve their services... irctc sucks... mentally frustrated..

            Respected sir,
            I had booked a ticked through your online app and the confirmation message that i had received says that my both the tickets were confirmed. but when we arrived at the station we came to know that one ticket was confirmed whereas the other ticket is on waiting list. i have my family with me and tbis kind of harrasment is no way negligible. for the reference the message received is being attached below too. now the matter is to be noted that i was bewcharged for those tickets which were confirmed according to the message received, but on actual ground i have to suffer the discomfort of tavelling even after doing a journey of 80 kms to malda. this is simply the peak of misguidence and for this the price is being paid by us. i simply ask the concerned authority to answer me against this situation and also for the troubles that i and my family is bearing right now we ask for the compensation for the misguidence that was being done from your end. below is the msg that i had received. we hope to have impartial outcome from your point regarding this unfortunate case that happened to us.

              Hey i want to complaint against the railway travel agent because of that the normal people were not make ticket online or by reservation counter the give to railway the commission that's why the normal people were not be able to book there ticket at home because of the travel agent these are bull people so i think that we must have to complaint against the travel agent and take a strict decision about him and give no seats to them only the normal people were able to book there ticket by himself or by the reservation counter

                Hi,

                I have recently filed a tdr against pnr number [protected] as i had booked 4 tickets in thetrain number 12840 and 2 of the tickets got confirmed while the 2 of them were under waitlist. However, i have received a reply from irctc stating that there would be 0 refund.

                Here are the details of the tdr claimed:

                1. Scheduled arrival of the train at the boarding station was 5:35 pm on 18th jun' 16

                2. 2 of the tickets got confirmed after the chart was prepared at around 2:00 pm on 18th jun' 16

                3. I had filed the tdr at 2:31 pm on 18th jun' 16 with the reason :

                "party partially confirmed/waitlisted and all passengers did not travel."

                Therefore, i should be receiving the complete refund as per the rules mentioned on the irctc website. Also, i have talked to irctc customer care twice and i have also sent a copy of this mail to the following id: [protected]@irctc.Co.In but there has been no response from either of them since 10 days.

                Note: though the train started at 11:45 pm on 17th june' 16; the status of the train on the irctc website stated that the chart has not been prepared till 2:00 pm on 18th june' 16.

                  On 12th june 2016 while travelling from new hasimara station to guwahati by train no 15657 bed rolls were not provided to 7 o[censored]s. pnr no [protected] & [protected] coach no b-1 seat nos. 2, 5, 6, 31, 32, 59, 60. coach was also not clean. matter was referred to mr tete (tte in the coach). written complaint was lodged. please take stringent action on the erring persons.

                    Recently my brother came over to our house from his work place via train. and i got to know that he bought a bottle of jal neer. he told me that he has bought it in rs 20 while its mrp was rs 15. then i got to know where ever you buy this you have to pay the price more than printed. this can be proved to be major scam if it is done. and i think the concerned authority should look into is as soon as possible

                      i have filled a tdr for my train running more thasn tree hours late on 17 june 2016 ...the dtails are below
                      from mugalsarai to new jalpaiguri, 2 ticket of amount rs 950.00

                      it still showing cr registered .

                      it have been shown in irctc website that all tdr refunds will be done within one week
                      but till 29 july 2016 no refund made

                      its the most worst and irritating behaviour of our govt working system

                      is this not a crime ??? to cheat for some money

                      yes irctc and railway must be punished for fine !!!

                        Coaches of the trains are not maintaing in time. about the leakege it was reported to tt orally, but no action hasbeen taken place the food menu is not available with the waiters and they are imposing more money than the menu
                        They are imposing rs 8 for cofees and all tea
                        They do not serve required items along with the meals orderd. (water, curd)

                        Please check it through a vigilance enquiry

                          Dear Sir / Madam
                          I have been trying to approach IRCTC through to customer care service since a couple of months but am not able to get a resolution to my issue.
                          Though I have never ever misused the irctc websites and have been a long time user to book my travel tickets without causing any misconduct, my account was suspended
                          I was told that I will need to register using a different Mobile and Email. I dont have any other mobile
                          So does that mean I am not allowed to travel via Indian Railways hence forth without doing anything wrong?
                          I have not been also told what Fraud was done so that I could fight it.
                          No Doubt irctc is doing good by trying to stop frauds from misusing and making ticketing smooth
                          But is there no mechanism to separate the actual frauds from the genuine travelers like me?
                          Request your help on the issue at the earliest.

                            Booked ticket via irctc web for journey date 26th june 2016. the train late by more than 3 hours and therfore i didnt not board that train and filed a tdr even before the arrival of the train. its been more than 10 days i am checking the status if the tdr filed and it shows that cr registered. i dont know what does that mean. will irctc refund the money or not or how long i have to wait for it. as per the advise it should not done with the passengers if there is no fault from there side. though it happens only in india.

                            Kindly look into this matter for the refund date as soon as possible.

                              I just now booked a ticket through irctc website. the details of the tickets are as below :

                              Date of journey : 30-sep-2016 from : dli to : jmp
                              Boarding at : dli date of boarding : 30-sep-2016 reservation upto : jmp
                              Scheduled departure : 23:40 hrs

                              Passenger details

                              While booking the ticket, i selected the option "book only if at least two lower berths are allotted" as i have to travel with my old aged (64 years) mother and two small kids below one year of age.

                              Even after selecting the said option, the ticket booked is side upper and upper berth.

                              I contacted irctc customer care (no.[protected] and requested to check my requisition form filled by me at the time of booking the ticket.
                              The customer care executive confirmed the fact that i had selected the option "book only if at least two lower berths are allotted".
                              It was further added by customer care executive that since all the three berths were not confirmed, the option 'to continue in the absence of lower berths' was not given to me and tickets were booked directly.

                              It is not at all acceptable. this is purely fault on part of irctc and hence, why i should bear the cancellation charges, as i cannot travel with upper and side upper berths.

                              This is the system flaw intentionally maintained by IRCTC, so that they may get more money from customer in form of Cancellation charges.

                                I booked my and my wife's ticket from indore to pune on 8 july 2016 which was under rac. the pnr number for the same is [protected] and total fare rs. 1490/-. i cancelled my wife's ticket on 4 july 2016 having same pnr where i got the refund of rs. 620/- however when i cancelled my ticket having same pnr on 5 july 2016 i got the refund of rs. 740/- i may mentioned that both tickets were booked under senior citizen quota. i fail to understand that how i got less amount when i cancelled the ticket one day earlier.
                                Even refund of rs. 495/- on pnr no [protected] (confirmed ticket) cancelled on 4 july 2016 before 24 hours of leaving the train was less. (total fare for two persons being rs.1490/-)

                                Pl solve the complaint.

                                    This is mohammed,

                                    Yesterday i went to nampally Railway Station Hyderabad to book tickets along with my grand mother, i stood quietly in the queue for my turn untill this lady who issues the ticket refused to give me tickets and literally asked me to leave...

                                    I explained her that I'm with my grandmother who is sitting on the chair right behind me and that I'm standing in the line for her, this lady told me to come in this line after 60 years when i become a senior citizen.

                                    I started making a video of her and she said you can go and complain the commissioner but Nothin will happen to me and then she closed the counter... Later she called the security to get me out of there, but i didn't leave.

                                    She was constantly rude to evryone, including other senior citizens, calling them dumb and slow.

                                    I have a video to proof all of this.
                                    I want a strict action to be taken against this woman.
