Dear Team,

My name is Mayank Verma. I booked ticket from irctc with the pnr number [protected]. After the chart preparation out of three passenger one passenger was in RAC and other 2 WL.Than i contacted to your customer care number they told that the WL passenger will not be able to travel.So i filled TDR before the schedule departure of train from my boarding station MGS.

After 3 days i contacted to the irctc customer care regarding the TDR filled they told that the TDR has been rejected.I asked the reason that why it has been rejected they told that in case of partially confirmed ticket, TDR has to filled within 72 hrs after the train reached the destination.

I think my money is wasted.Your customer care are saying that you have obtained non traveling certificate from TTE.But ask to those passenger who are travelling in the train .The TTE are saying that they do not issue any kind of such certificate.

So please help me whether how can i receive my payment.

    I have booked 2 e-ticket on 19th may on tatkal quota but the ticket got cancelled due to non confirmation and the irctc site is showing my amount have been refunded but still I have not received the refund amount in my account.plz sir look into matter and do the needful for betterment.I am providing the detail of transactions for your perusal.

      Dear sir,
      We had to go to dehradun to attend my cousin's marriage. So, i had booked 02 tickets thru my irctc account joshi_pk1 on train 12205 nanda devi express of 23-feb-2016 from ndls to ddn dep 23:50 hrs (Pnr [protected]).

      But at 19:52 hrs on 23-feb-2016 (Few hours before train dep), i got a sms from
      "dm-irsmsa"
      "train no 12205 has been cancelled due to unavoidable circumstances.Inconvenience caused to passengers is deeply regretted"

      So, we could not go to attend the marriage in the family.

      On[protected], i wrote a mail to [protected]@irctc.Co.In with copy to [protected]@irctc.Co.In for refund of my booking amount. My email was assigned ticket id [irctc #2955332].

      But on 7th may 2016, i got an email from
      [protected]@irctc. Co. On
      "the tdr filed against pnr number [protected] with reason train cancelled has been repudiated by the chief commercial manager/refunds nr due to reason, train not cancelled/diverted at boarding and/or reserved upto station."

      I request you to kindly look into the matter. As we were forced to cancel our program due to sms just few hours before train dep from -
      "dm-irsmsa"
      "train no 12205 has been cancelled due to unavoidable circumstances.Inconvenience caused to passengers is deeply regretted"

      I also wrote a mail to the railway minister mr. Suresh prabhu regarding this issue but got no reply from his side.

        I have booked tatkal ticket through irctc website, unfortunatley my journey plan has changed, so i could not use this ticket and not made journey through train
        Regarding this i filed tdr through irtctc. But when filing tdr, i have entered reason wrongly... As coach damaged by mistake. So i want to cancel the tdr, which i filed for wrong reason

          I tried to book tatkal ticket on 28.05.2016 through IRCTC website for journey from Chennai to Hyderabad by Hyderabad Express.
          At 10.00 AM I found the availability as 38 Nos. When I tried to make the payment availability was 22 Nos.
          My banking transaction was successful but the ticket did not get booked. I got the error message as " We are experiencing network delays. After one hour we will let you know if the transaction was put through successfully.
          Twice I attempted and I got the same message.Amount of Rs.1410.8 got debited twice from my account.
          When I tried to book once again within five minutes of the earlier transaction, the status of availability changed to WL38.
          I feel something fishy about the booking process for tatkal tickets

            I have tried to booking a railway tatkal ticket in the irctc site on 27/05/2016 journey was from vadodara jn (Brc) to mumbai central (Bct) on 28/05/2016 by train no train no./name: 12934/karnavati exp the amount rs 1475.80 (In new delhi at irctc 12027) has deducted from my hdfc a/c [protected] but there is no ticket show in the list of booked history.               Tdr reference no - [protected]
              Pnr no - [protected]
              Reason - train late more than three hours and passenger not travelled
              I have filed tdr on 27 september 2015 with irctc. But refund not credited in my account.
              I have followed up with irctc but got only one reply i. E. "request forworded to indian railway and we will refund once confirmed railway."

              Irctc cheating with me as i can see this incident history has been deleted from their record as wel.
              Please take a strict action on it.

                I booked my ticket from anand vihar, delhi to varanasi, train no.- 22408 on 22/5/2016 (Travel date 13/6/2016).. At the time of booking site was showing 415 vacant seats, but after confirmation i was given ub, mb, sl.. For whom are lower births reserved... I have two kids with me.. How to manage.. Very poor management.In the initial attempt in manduadih express 34 seats were vacant, i pressed the option of "book only if two lower births are alloted". After filling everything they showed "your requirement is not met" so i cancelled my ticket. Again in garib rath same thing happened.. One has to return to the destination so has to accept, so i confirmed my reservation in 22408.. Thinking that at least one lower birth will be alloted. But??? What is the use.. Time of 14-15 hrs.. With 2 kids.. Such difficult seats.. Irctc has made a joke of it. Last thing left what they want is to settle with tt... But everytime.. Booking tickets is a big headache..

                  I was booking an online tatkal ticket(on IRCTC) for a journey from Secunderabad to New Delhi. I entered all the details on IRCTC portal. Also, the tickets were showing available. But after entering all details and clicking on Pay button at the last moment, it(IRCTC) did not book my ticket.
                  I thought there was some technical error, I tried again, and it was still showing Tatkal tickets available. I filled all details and then atlast, same happened as before. Now, I tried for Premium Tatkal booking. I had to book the ticket because of emergency, I agreed to pay more than double the amount of ticket(premium tatkal ticket is dynamic and fare of ticket increases). And this time in first attempt the ticket was booked. it means that there is some issue with the IRCTC Tatkal ticket booking.
                  The ticket fare of premium Tatkal increases with respect to demand, that is, the number of people booking the ticket. So, with the above IRCTC Tatkal booking issue, we can estimate that the IRCTC is not simply allowing the Tatkal Tickets to be booked so that more and more people go for premium tatkal and fare of that increase and IRCTC make more money. I really believe, It is also something like IRCTC is booking Railway tickets in Black then.
                  Its really impossible to book a Tatkal Ticket on IRCTC. It happened not once but two times.
                  Second time it happened when I was booking a ticket for a return jouney(New Delhi to secunderabad). and this time too, same issue occurred.
                  This is my grievance. Hope, i get justice...Please contact for any information on tickets that i was booking.

                    Irctc doing fraudulent activities, because by provision and rules of irctc before 48hrs of departure of scheduled time, cancellation charges for confirmed ticket to sleeper class is rs.60 per passenger, but that fraud irctc deducted rs.120/passenger to me. For to verify my details pnr no.[protected] and cancellation id is [protected]. I have cancelled my ticket on 25/05/2016 22:34:42 hrs but my departure date is 28/05/2016 22:20:00.

                        Status at the time of booking: w/l
                        Status after preparation of chart : not confirmed
                        Amount charged : rs.102.90 (Including service charge of rs.22.90)
                        Amount refunded : rs.20.00
                        Ticket type : e-ticket

                        It may be clarified on what basis rs. 20/- is refunded against the ticket charge of rs.80.00 of a wait listed ticket which was not confirmed after preparation of chart.
                        Indian Railway Catering & Tourism Corporation [IRCTC] customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
                        This is unfair trade practice. Railways must refund entire amount including service charge and bank charge in case of waitlisted ticket not confirmed on chart preparation as well as when a train is cancelled.

                        Taking this further, even interest becomes payable on the paid amount since most tickets are booked several days (or months) in advance of travel.

                          I booked a ticket ([protected]) Transaction ID [protected] from CLT to TVC on[protected] and the status was CKWL.

                          The amount deducted from my account was 792 Rs and ticket cost was 770 Rs., and the ticket didn't get confirmed after chart preparation, but i received a mail saying that 650 Rs.will be refunded. But nowhere in indian railway and irctc sites its mentioned that 120 Rs. will be deducted if ticket gets auto cancelled.
                          120 Rs is deducted on base of what??? You are already taken service charge, and i didnt get any ticket. Still u are deducting 120 rupees for a ticket, is something like robbery !!!. People didn't except this from Indian railway and its subsidiary organization IRCTC

                            but now rac ticket is not confirmed till date.

                              On May 24, 2016, I tried to reserve a 2-AC ticket on train number 12685 Chennai-Mangalore Express through irctc.co.in website. Made payment via net banking but the transaction on IRCTC website shows as having failed. Checked with the bank who confirmed that the payment was made successfully

                                I have travelled in train 12441 bsp-ndls rajdhani from bilaspur to new delhi on 23.05.16 with pnr no. [protected] in class 3a. I wanted to complain with regard to the following point:

                                1. Evening snacks was not served until asked. It was said that i was sleeping and so my share was given away. After serving the snacks, some items were not given which had to be got after repeated requests.

                                1. At dinner the paneer dish served was not properly stored so was rotten. When complained no notice was taken. Even after repeated request to replace the dish, was simply ignored.

                                The catering is with doon's catering services. Kindly note the above complaints.

                                  I have called 5 times to IRCTC Delhi call center regarding Overcharges on my booked ticket like the fare on Indian Railway web & Erail web even on 139 its 1055/- per person but when i have booked the ticked i have seen they have charges 2010/- per person, after talking with care people they have given me excuse its some kind of dynamic charge, i have spoke with 5 person all have disconnected the call saying that transferring to senior officer, Still my question is same what is the meaning of Dynamic Fare & why they have not mentioned this on Indian Railway web & Erail web even on 139, when i have booked the ticket there was 550 available seats i understand that the Dynamic charge is applied when there is few or low availability for seat so how can they put any such charges & without informing or mentioning this info on there websites.

                                  I am totally disappointed with the service our IRCTC Customer Care they don't have any value of consumer we are just like some kind of Garbage or product just used for taking money in there account nothing else...

                                  with this quote i am attaching snapshot were any one can clearly see nothing mentioned related to dynamic fare on Indian Railway web & Erail web...

                                  Stil saying that this is not as per standard rule you are just taking double fare in the name of Dynamic fare where there is no shortage of seats at the time of booking...

                                    I have booked a ticket for 5 passengers from bsb to ddn on 28 nov 2015, doj-29 nov 2015, pnr - [protected]. At 10.30 pm, i received a message as attached that chart is prepared, out of this 1 ticket was confirmed, 1 was rac and other 3 were wl. So after arranging other mode to travel, i logged in and tried to cancel the ticket, it did not allow to cancel, so i filed tdr for it at 12.47am, 29 nov 2015. The departure time of the train was 8.30 am in the morning on 29 nov 2015. So this means i filed the tdr almost around 7 hours before the actual time of departure. The reason mentioned is very clear in the screen shot from login account specifying 'passenger not travelled due to ticket in rac after chart preparation' along with date an and time.
                                    Now when i tried to follow up with irctc they said please wait for 90 days. Now its more than 5 months, but the status of that tdr was 'cr registered' only.
                                    When i tweeted on twitter on 17 may 2016, the they changed the status to cr repudiated.
                                    The most interesting part is when i cross checked the status of my pnr on website suggested by one of my friend i found the status as attached in 3rd screen shot attached.
                                    The refund claim reason mentioned here is 'train running late by more than 3 hours... ' and the repudiation reason is mentioned as 'train was not running late and tdr not filed within right time slot...' which is absolutely wrong as it can be verified by the details i have provided from my login account.
                                    Now who will tell me the exact reason why my request has been rejected??
                                    I want genuine reason and since i have done everything as per process i am absolutely eligible for it. And by manipulating the reason mentioned by me and then rejecting my request itself shows that there is flaw in the irctc system. All the time i followed up i have this many ticket ids - irctc 2653180, 2822255, [protected], 3393091, 2591695 etc

                                        While booking tatkal ticket from koderma to lucknow in the train no. 13151 when i was about to make payment through internet banking, the screen showed 'insufficient merchant information' and reservation is denied. When i again login to irctc it said you have already logged in and if you continue previous one will be cancelled. There is no option but to continue login and then all 178 seats in 13151 booked and i have done reservation in gangasutlej train.
