        I had booked two ac chair car tickets from travel from ludhiana to saharanpur in train no.14682. On 19/3/16, day of the travel, when we reached railway station at 5 am, we came to know that this train whose scheduled departure time is 5-25am, shall depart now at 12-30pm.
        We came back to our house & at 6am submitted for online cancellation of the ticket.Now irct is telling that as per its rule book, this ticket can not be cancelled. Why should customers suffer for the fault of the railways ?
        We want refund of the booking amount.

          I have tried to book 3 times a ticket at irctc online portal. But all ti, es the transiction has been failed. But two times amount has been deducted from my account. Ihave tried to call irctc coustmers they have didnt listen about my problem they just did some dramas and cut my call i have all recordings in my phone i m a travell agent i want a proper action against them. I have so many coustmer whos are suffring from irctc. I would like to take actions agaiinst them.
          I need your support for fighting against the goverment currpted.
          I m also going to publish this news in paper please reply me as soon as possible.

            I'm travelling in gorakhdham express, boarding from Delhi, till gorakhpur, the plug point provided in AC 2 is not working, which is indeed wrong, as in the case of emergency of person goes out of battery they don't have a point to plug in their phones. Please take care of this issue.

              I have booked an e-ticket in emergency quota from allahabad jn (Ald) to anand vihar trm (Anvt) whose travel date was 07-dec-2015, pnr no. Was [protected] in train no./ name- 22409/anvt garib rath.

              When i reached station to catch train at midnight 01:00am then i came to know that the coach has not been added in which berth had allotted to me. Same day at 21:40 i filed tdr but in select tdr reason i didn't find the exact reason which i faced so i selected reason randomly and filed tdr but still didn't get refund after 3 months.

                I took Kerala Sampark Kranti on 14th March 2016, had booked 2AC Seat No 44, it was one of the horrible and worst experience. The coach was very old with all the parts all over the place, rivets were out of grove, AC wasn't working, fasteners out of sockets, ugly was rooms, ugly pillows and blankets, bed sheets, COCKROACH in entire coach (Check Pic). The entire coach was moving lateral even at low speeds. in case of accident that coach would be the first to rip and flip off the track.

                I paid 2700 INR for Tatkal ticket from MAJN to PNVL which almost equal to flight ticket. At least place a good AC coaches

                  This is to bring into your notice the sale of Mineral Water Bottles at Rs 20 (i.e Rs 5 above MRP) inside the train as well as on the platform( Vijaywada station). On inquiring the sales man, he said that he needs to pay fixed quotas to various railway personnel. I am not sure whether this information is true or not but, it requires proper investigation as it is happening in the presence of TTEs in train and Station Master at Railway station.

                        On 15/3/2016 I have traveled by above train vide ticket PNR NO. [protected], and the dinner served was of very poor quality as well as cold. The chapati served was not worth at all and had to just dine with rice only. The chicken was also not of any standard.

                        traveled in Aug kranti rajdhani express on 15/3/2016 vide ticket PNR no. [protected] and the quality of food was below standard and cold as well.
                        traveled from Surat to Bangaluru vid ticket PNR no. [protected].
                        The food served was the worst i have ever tasted. I donit think a beggar would eat such food. and the charge taken was superb. The dal served was nothing but just a colored water and the chapati needed to be chewed by an animal with big teeth. and when i visited the chicken it was stinking and cockroaches were sitting on food, the cooks wearing dirty clothes and no cleanliness, not hygine at all.

                        the boggy was of three tier a/c but it was stinking and the it was old boggy manfuatured of 2008 and the sponge on the birth was as good as wood, bathroom was stinking, I dont think that the bathroom was every renovated after the manufacturing of coach.

                              Today on 16th March I tried to book my ticket from Gomti Express(train number 12419) going from Kanpur(CNB) to New Delhi (NDLS). It took all my details (name, age, birth preference, my cell no. etc) and then I made payment of total fare of Rs. 192.90 (170 rs. fair + 22.70 rs. service tax) from citi bank debit card. Payment was done, my account was debited with total fare but My ticket did not got booked . Now what should I do? Several times I called on Customer care number but no body responded. Please refund the total amount in my citi bank a/c. I am here providing my IRCTC Refrence number.

                              I'm happy that IRCTC took the action within a day and total amount 192.90 got refunded (and yes 10 rs. irctc charge and 1.45 rs swachh bharat cess is deductd but thats ok ) back in my a/c. Thanks ministry of railways and kudos to irctc.

                                I got a call just now from a personal mobile number [protected] claiming to be from IRCTC and asking details like card number, expiry date and CVV code..I do not think that IRCTC needs "personal card sensitive details" for verifying. IRCTC...Is it you??? If yes then I want a reply here..otherwise I think you know that you should raise a complaint for this kind of attempt.

                                  Dear Sir/Ma'am.
                                  My friend, Nitin Sachdeva booked e-ticket from IRCTC for Karnataka Express, from New Delhi to Manmad, Date Of Journey was 21-02-16. He got a message from IRCTC at 5:30 PM on journey date, that the train got cancelled. Same status was reflecting at NTES website. (Screenshots of message available with complainant).

                                  As per IRCTC rules when train get cancelled on administrative ground passenger is liable for refund and concerned passenger get refund automatically on his registered account associated with IRCTC login ID.
                                  Details of passenger and ticket details are as under:

                                  PNR:[protected], TRAIN:12628, DOJ:21-02-16, 3A, NDLS-MMR, Dep:21:15,
                                  NITIN SACHDEVA+1, B3 30, B3 32,

                                  But no refund done by IRCTC even after about 23 days of cancellation of train, i.e. till date. Despite frequent reminders to them.

                                  Request you to pls take necessary action in this regard so that I get my refund ASAP.

                                    Dear Sir,

                                    My train 12918 [PNR [protected]] was cancelled at source station on date 22/02/16 for scheduled departure date 23/02/16 due to Jat agitation. Cancellation status was displayed over irctc portal and I had cancelled the ticket on 22/02/16 via irctc.

                                    Recently, I checked the refund status and came to know that train was re-scheduled and my cancellation request was aborted due to irctc portal failure.

                                    I also contacted customer service around 26-28 feb, and was advised to wait since train was cancelled.

                                    On 10/03, through email/telephone conversations with irctc, I was informed that refund will not be given since train was re-scheduled and no cancellation request was available in system

                                    To support my arguments, I am attaching train cancellation notification for date 22/02.

                                    I have following questions:

                                    1. Since train was cancelled at any point of time, as per railway rules I should get my refund back automatically.

                                    2. No notification was given regarding rescheduling of train.


                                    I had already gone through inconvenience due to train cancellation on 23/02, I request you to address my complaint with some positive resolution.

                                      Hello Sir, I were book Online Train Tkt Ahmedabad to Surat. Total 3 Tket ( 2 Audlt + 1 Child) total amount was 282 INR but i have cancle due to plan change but i refunded only 80 INR only according to there mail.

                                      I don't Know why and how. Accourding to there Rule they have refunded me 200 INR Near About.

                                        I had canceled the tickets on February 18, 2016 for Gujarat Mail to and fro (PNR number [protected] and [protected]) and was promised a refund within 72 hours. But till March 14, 2016, the refund process is not initiated despite sending the mails to the concerned authority. Always a system generated mail is sent with the new ticket ID. Kindly assist.
