Dear Sir, I, Ms.Chinu would like submit a complaint against IRCTC for deduct Rs.11.25 extra from my bank account. To Be more specific, I had booked two railway e-tickets of Transaction ID-[protected], PNR Number-[protected], on 3rd Jan 201r by online ticket booking on www.irctc.co.in with my username chinu_2979. .I have had used sbi online payment gateway for payment of the booked tickets.They have deducted Ticket Charge: 260.0 Service Charge: 11.24 Total: 271.24 Then the 5-jan-2015 when I checked online banking account statement which says that irctc has deducted Rs.11.25 more for some kind of commission twice. They didn't noticed me anything before and they didn't mail me of why they have charged me when I had already made the payments of booked tickets.     INDIAN RAILWAYS USUALLY DONT CARE FOR AN INDIVIDUALS TIME . TRAIN NO: 12303, POORVA EXPRESS, TRAVELLING FROM HOWRAH TO NEW DELHI DATED 09/01/2015 GOT DELAYED BY 16-17 HOURS . IS WAS REALLY INCONVENIENT AND MOST OF OUR PLANS GOT CANCELLED DUE TO THIS IRRESPONSIVENESS OF RAILWAY AUTHORITIES . THEY SHOULD ATLEAST CARE TO INFORM THE PASSENGERS ABOUT THE REASON FOR THE DELAY .

      I had booked 3rd AC ticket for two persons (PNR No. [protected]) to travel from Delhi to Ajmer by Train No. 12414 (DOJ: 06.01.2015 at 0425 hours). However on reaching the station I found that the train was more than 3 hours late (actually 5 hours). As my father-in-law had expired at Ajmer I made alternative arrangement to travel by bus and filed online TDR on 06.01.2015 at 0351 hours I.e. well before departure of train. But I have received message that Rs 750 are being refunded out of Rs 1500 i.e. 50% amount only whereas I am entitled for full refund as per rules notified by Railways under the category of "train late for more than 3 hours and passengers not traveled".         I have booked a ticket on 21-Nov-2014 for travel on 13-Jan-2015 with PNR no [protected]. However, my plans changed and I cancelled the ticket. During booking, the ticket ticket is in WL40. As per the rules, I have to get refund after deducting only nominal charges. But as per the mail received from IRCTC after cancellation, I will be receiving only INR 315 as refund. Please do the needful.

          Hi, I had filled a TDR for PNR [protected] . The reason for filing TDR was "Train Late More Than Three Hours and Passenger Not Travelled". I had filled the TDR well before the train actual departure from the boarding station(Train departed more than 7 hrs late from the source station itself). I got the refund but only 50% which is not as per the refund rules. I should have been refunded the 100% amount. Please refund the full amount. Thanks, Mohit Mittal [protected]@gmail.com

            Dear Sir/M'am, We had e-ticket for 26th December'14 from CST (Chattrapati Shivaji Terminus) to Jabalpur & Pipariya for 12 adults & one child (10 years old) in Kolkatta Mail scheduled to depart at 21.25hrs. The train was cancelled without any prior information or message from IRCTC. We co incidently learnt about the cancellation at 17.00hrs had to make alternate arrangements. We faced a lot of inconveninence to make alternate arrangements at the last minute and incurred unreasonable expense. We were going for a vacation and did not know about the TDR procedure. On inquiring for refund after return we were informed that the they cannot refund the money as TDR was not filed. Why do the consumer need to file a TDR for the train that was cancelled by Railways without any information. Our PNR numbers are [protected], [protected].               I was traveling in train number 22812 on 4-1-2015 under pnr number [protected]. Around 11:00pm I went to my friends bogey B2 to meet him. We were in the junction of B2-B3 bogeys when a caterer very impolitely shouted at us to go away. When we asked for reason he threatened to frame us and said he would further ensure that we are fined and de-boarded if we continue to stand there. I along with my 2 other friends am very disappointed from this uncivilized behavior in an honored train such as Rajdhani. The name of the caterer is Rajesh Sharma(as he told). I am further sending his photo as attachment. I had mailed this complaint to [protected]@irctc.com and even tried the customer care helpline but I recieved no response.

                Sir, due to non submission of TDR within stipulated time, IRCTC is not paying the amount paid by me for booking ticket from Howrah to Dhanbad. Sir, actually train was cancelled and hence I could not travel on that train. what fault in my part for cancellation of train. Due to cancellation of train I was faced lot of difficulties. Then why not Railway be fined. Instead of non-submission of TDR in time IRCTC denied to return money to me.. Moreover, it is to state that Railway staff on duty at Howrah Station enquiry counter told me that in case of e-ticket the money will be returned to payees account. As such, penalizing me is not justified from the part of IRCTC/Railway. I request you sir, to instruct the concerned to return me amount paid by me for booking ticket and advise Railway / IRCTC to be more customer friendly. Thanking you Achintya Bera

                  I have booked a ticket with IRCTC Transaction Id- [protected] and PNR No-[protected] Train No-12238 From-JAT(Jammu Tawi) To JRC (Jalandhar Cantt) for 31-Dec-2014 on 29-Dec-2014. Train got late by more than of six hour so we have to make another arrangement for traveling to jalandhar. Where i have applied for the refund on the next day, but IRCTC officer has made CR Repudiate without checking the facts, these officers careless approach is defaming the IRCTC. Please look into the matter and get my refund processed.

                      I have already file a TDR of single passenger but now have to file TDR for all the three passengers and also changing the reason of filing TDR. The reason is that train is running late more than 8 hours from the boarding station that is from gwalior PNR no. [protected].

                        We had confirmed Sleeper tickets from AGRA to Hyderabad in AP express on 23 Dec 2014. But train has been delayed by 24 hours late. I cancelled my travel plan and filed TDR. TDR has been refunded on 30 dec but refunded amount is less ( only 50% of actual amount). Ideally it should be 100% amount refund.                           I filed 2 TDR for two tickets below: Transaction ID: [protected] and [protected]. However, reason for not refunding given is Invalid TDR Timestmap : DELAY which is not acceptable as I filed these TDR's on same day before departure of train which was delayed for more than 8 hours Please refund my hard earned money.

                            Dear Sir/Madam I had booked Tatkal ticket from Durg to Vadodra on 9th January 2015 but can't get the confirmed seat of 10th January 2015 . As per the IRCTC rules if the e-ticket doesn't confirmed it get automatically cancelled and money refunded in account of customer.                                 Today i have a booked a ticket in tatkal at Chennai- Howrah (Coramondal Express) 12842 and my all the transaction was completed and even the amount Rs.851 has been deducted from my account (transaction number-[protected]) and then at the time of printing the ticket they showed that "Error all the tickets were finished". I have done this payment through SBI so please let me know how can my amount will be refunded to my account.

                                    Dear Sir/Madam I had booked Tatkal ticket from Durg to Vadodra on 17th December 2014 but can't get the confirmed seat of 19th December 2014 . As per the IRCTC rules if the e-ticket doesn't confirmed it get automatically cancelled and money refunded in account of customer within 48 hours. My ticket didn't confirmed on 19th December 2014, I wait for 1 week if money is refunded in account but after one month still can't get any message of refund.                                         Dear Sir, Today i faced so many difficulty in booking tatkal ticket from my system. when i entered the station codes from lucknow(lko) to ludhiana(ldh), it reflected the tatkal status for booking and when i clicked for the available tickets it then reflected this..."You are permitted only 2 Tatkal Tickets between 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM per IP Address"...now what should i understand by this...m using my own personal computer and this was my first tatkal ticket of the day and also of the month...so why showing this...and then when i reserved ticket from my personal mobile, i got one confirmed but the ticket i wanted that is in 3AC, i could not get it...plz see in to this problem and award solution to it.

                                        This is regarding my experience regarding tatkal ticket booking through irctc.co.in. It seems the site is intentionally down during the initial 10-15 min after 10:00 AM. I have tried continuously for last 1 week and got the same message, "Error: unable to reach the site". I asked my different friends to try and all were with different Internet connection and were getting the message. After the 15 min means after 10:15 AM the site runs perfectly. If you are not able to manage the load then you should try to resolve it immediately.
                                        Form last one week while i am trying to book Tatakal ticket at sharp 10 AM, I am getting error" This service is not reachabe please try after some time" which is spoiling the summer vacation.
                                        Let me know when this error or will be resoled. I am going to file RTI gainst this major issue.
                                        Expecting the resolution as soon as possible..
