To: Dear respected Minister of Railways - Sri Suresh Prabhu, To: Dear respected Minister of State of Railways - Sri Manoj Sinha... Hi, I am Sanjay Kumar. On 1/Dec/2014, I booked a ticket from irctc site where the travel date was 26/Dec/2014. The transaction ID is [protected] and PNR is [protected]. At the last moment (around 3 hours before departure time of the train), it was updated on the trainenquiry.com that this train got cancelled. It was very inconvenience to me & my family but we could not able to do anything and my plan got changed. Now, considering that as the train has got cancelled and as I had booked this ticket from irctc site, I assumed that the refund would be automatic and would be credited in my a/c. Today when I checked my a/c, I found that there is no such credit. Then I contacted irctc customer care. There, I was informed that even the train got cancelled I should had either cancelled this ticket or should had filed TDR for the same within 3 days of the scheduled departure of the train. I would like to ask few questions from both of you - • I would like to know that why not the refund should be automatically transferred to the corresponding a/c in case train is cancelled and ticket booking is done via irctc site? • I would like to know that why I should initiate for ticket cancellation or TDR if there is no use of that ticket once the train got cancelled? • I would like to know that why not the refund should be automated even there is no fault of passenger in cancelling the train? • I would like to know why there is restriction of filing TDR within 3 days in case train is getting cancelled. Please note that passenger already have a lot of inconvenience when any train got cancelled. And it further frustrates the passenger by putting so much unwanted rules & regulations for refund. And that too without any proactive information sharing from Indian Railways side. Looking forward for your response here. Regards Sanjay Kumar

    I have booked a tkt form Tirupathi to Annavaram for travel on[protected]. The PNR No was [protected] for 4 tkts. However upto the departure no tkt was confirmed. The tkts were in Wait List. However at the last moment one tkt was moved to RAC. We have cancelled the tkt on 13.12.2014 it self. We have filed TDR also. On verification from the site it was noticed that, C R was registered for passenger 1 and cancelled for passenger 2. passengers 3 and 4 was as booked. We have not yet received the refund amt.       Dear Sir/M'am, This is with reference to the cancellation of Kolkatta mail which was scheduled to depart at 21.25 from CST (Chattrapati Shivaji Terminus), Mumbai on 26th December'14. The train was cancelled without any prior intimation or information. On 26th December'14 at 17.00 hrs we co-incidently discovered about the cancellation of the train and in tremendous pressure had to hunt for alternate arrangements as our booking was for 13 persons and 4 kids below 5 years. Our PNR numbers are as follows & photos attached for your reference - 1. [protected] - CSTM to Jabalpur 2. [protected] - CSTM to Pipariya 3. [protected] - CSTM to Jabalpur We were going on a vacation and hence had to pay a unreasonable price for alternate bookings. We waited for the refund to reflect in our account but even after 15 days it did not reflect hence, we checked with railway inquiry about refund, we were denied since we did not file a TDR for the cancellation. The train was cancelled by Indian Railways, we were the ones who faced the hurdles and again we are asked to file a TDR??? I fail to understand for what reason???         Dear Sir/Mam : I filed a TDR against my ticket with PNR number [protected] on 30th December. Since then it is showing the status as "CR registered". i dont know what does it mean. Also i am not getting any update regarding that. It is clearly written that TDR issue will be solved in next 10 days after filong TDR. Kindly Solve it asap and refund my money.

          I was trying to book Tatkal ticket from Pune to Bina on 15 Jan 2015 at around 10 AM, but everytime IRCTC server showed the error "You are permitted only 2 Tatkal tickets between 10 AM to 12 PM per IP address". I have not booked even a single ticket even in the last one month, but still it is showing the error. Even at around 10:01 AM waiting list reached upto 50, as a result couldnt get any ticket. I am pissed off by the services of IRCTC. Please fix this error asap.

            Dear Sir, We were traveling in 3AC from Ujjain to Jabalpur on 24/12/2014. A vendor carrying mineral water and cold drinks was selling indide the 3AC compartment. We purchased 2 fruit juice packs and one bottle of mineral water from the vendor. The prices on all these packs were deliberately removed by the vendor and he charged INR5.00 more than MRP for each item we bought. When I complained, he told us that his shop in inside the Ujjain station platform. I mentioned this to Railway station master at Ujjain but his staff was totally non-cooperative in registering the complain. Our train was about to depart but they wanted me to go insude their office to make a written complaint. I requested them to come along with me near to the 3AC coach but they refused. I have booked ticket with my ICICI debit card and select the option of CITI bank payment gateway. Now in my IRCTC account it is showing that amount is refumded to CITI bank.               Passengers are compelled to take biscuits with tea, is it made mandatory by railway to purchase biscuits also with tea? As staff serving tea charge Rs 10 ( Rs 7 for tea and rs3 for biscuits) on denying to purchase of biscuits staff denied to give tea and also miss behave, I faced this situation every time providing details for recent one PNR NO- [protected] Date of travel[protected] Train No- 12569 Train Name- JYG ANVT G RATH. I am next travel on[protected] and hope would not face such situation again, expecting to circulate by IRCTC/RAIL BOARD REGARDS passengers services and charges for different services.

                yesterday i register my irctc account but i delete my otp by mistake, which was sent to my mobile. It was important to verify. I didn't delete my email otp but delete the otp message on my mobile no. I don't know the password and i am first time user.                     Dear sir, We had book train ticket through irctc vide PNR No - [protected] for 6 person booking My father 67 year old my self, my wife and my three children. The booking amount was Rs 1587 and taxes extra. We are waiting for travel from Nagpur to Champa from Gondwana express. That day we are comes from hydrabad to nagpur early morning at 9:00am and observed that gondvana express is near about 12 hour late.Hence we takes normal ticket from Nagpur window vide ticket no Y 11490376 & Y11490377 from nagpur to champa and paid penalty in Train no 1129 ( Ajad hind express). We have already lost naer about 2500 Rs as penalty. for travelling from nagpur to champa. What is rule of indian railway that his train was late by 19 hours and we have suffed lot by travelling by another train ajad hind expess and paid penalty and you are not paying my full amount which is filed TDR on 31.12.2014. Hence you are requested to paid my full amounrt as we are not travell any person from gonvana express on that train was near about 18 to 19 hour late.                       Dear Sir, This is to inform you that with reference to refund against PNR Number [protected] an amount of Rs. "200" (i.e only 50% refund) was confirmed by the concerned zonal railway office.However, you may be informed that I had CNF tickets [PNR Number [protected]] for my travel to Ahmedabad from Surat on 24 Dec, 2014. Since this particular weekly train [Surat to Mahuva/Bhavnagar SF Express] was delayed (till 14:20 hours unconfirmed), we had to cancel this ticket. Then we had to manage our travel to Ahmedabad with unreserved ticket. We were very disappointed by the railway station management that morning.I will appreciate that the concerned zonal railway office honours me Full Refund of the CNF ticket booking amount of Rs.400 for the PNR Number [protected].                         I want to say that I booked a ticket for Renukoot to Umbala travelled date[protected] but due to late coming of train and wrong information of exp. arrival time I missed this train. After coming at home I have filed TDR against this ticket on same day but there was no refund on this ticket till now so I am requesting you to look into this matter and Refund as soon as possible. I have continued my journey on next day by same train.
                        I am attaching both PNR No, Tx Id and Id proof for this matter.

                          During the festival times, all the transactions are failing, It must be because of corruption by some IRCTC officials, railways officials, and ticket brokers...I ask for independent inquiry in this issue. I am going to write directly to Prime Minister and Rail minister, If proper inquiry is not conducted..Here, Railway Ticket bookings have become most corrupted one, benefiting above said groups..

                            Dear Sir, I, Ms.Chinu would like submit a complaint against IRCTC for deduct Rs.11.25 extra from my bank account. To Be more specific, I had booked two railway e-tickets of Transaction ID-[protected], PNR Number-[protected], on 3rd Jan 201r by online ticket booking on www.irctc.co.in with my username chinu_2979. .I have had used sbi online payment gateway for payment of the booked tickets.They have deducted Ticket Charge: 260.0 Service Charge: 11.24 Total: 271.24 Then the 5-jan-2015 when I checked online banking account statement which says that irctc has deducted Rs.11.25 more for some kind of commission twice. They didn't noticed me anything before and they didn't mail me of why they have charged me when I had already made the payments of booked tickets.                               INDIAN RAILWAYS USUALLY DONT CARE FOR AN INDIVIDUALS TIME . TRAIN NO: 12303, POORVA EXPRESS, TRAVELLING FROM HOWRAH TO NEW DELHI DATED 09/01/2015 GOT DELAYED BY 16-17 HOURS . IS WAS REALLY INCONVENIENT AND MOST OF OUR PLANS GOT CANCELLED DUE TO THIS IRRESPONSIVENESS OF RAILWAY AUTHORITIES . THEY SHOULD ATLEAST CARE TO INFORM THE PASSENGERS ABOUT THE REASON FOR THE DELAY .

                                I had booked 3rd AC ticket for two persons (PNR No. [protected]) to travel from Delhi to Ajmer by Train No. 12414 (DOJ: 06.01.2015 at 0425 hours). However on reaching the station I found that the train was more than 3 hours late (actually 5 hours). As my father-in-law had expired at Ajmer I made alternative arrangement to travel by bus and filed online TDR on 06.01.2015 at 0351 hours I.e. well before departure of train. But I have received message that Rs 750 are being refunded out of Rs 1500 i.e. 50% amount only whereas I am entitled for full refund as per rules notified by Railways under the category of "train late for more than 3 hours and passengers not traveled".                                   I have booked a ticket on 21-Nov-2014 for travel on 13-Jan-2015 with PNR no [protected]. However, my plans changed and I cancelled the ticket. During booking, the ticket ticket is in WL40. As per the rules, I have to get refund after deducting only nominal charges. But as per the mail received from IRCTC after cancellation, I will be receiving only INR 315 as refund. Please do the needful.

                                    Hi, I had filled a TDR for PNR [protected] . The reason for filing TDR was "Train Late More Than Three Hours and Passenger Not Travelled". I had filled the TDR well before the train actual departure from the boarding station(Train departed more than 7 hrs late from the source station itself). I got the refund but only 50% which is not as per the refund rules. I should have been refunded the 100% amount. Please refund the full amount. Thanks, Mohit Mittal [protected]@gmail.com

                                      Dear Sir/M'am, We had e-ticket for 26th December'14 from CST (Chattrapati Shivaji Terminus) to Jabalpur & Pipariya for 12 adults & one child (10 years old) in Kolkatta Mail scheduled to depart at 21.25hrs. The train was cancelled without any prior information or message from IRCTC. We co incidently learnt about the cancellation at 17.00hrs had to make alternate arrangements. We faced a lot of inconveninence to make alternate arrangements at the last minute and incurred unreasonable expense. We were going for a vacation and did not know about the TDR procedure. On inquiring for refund after return we were informed that the they cannot refund the money as TDR was not filed. Why do the consumer need to file a TDR for the train that was cancelled by Railways without any information. Our PNR numbers are [protected], [protected].                                         I was traveling in train number 22812 on 4-1-2015 under pnr number [protected]. Around 11:00pm I went to my friends bogey B2 to meet him. We were in the junction of B2-B3 bogeys when a caterer very impolitely shouted at us to go away. When we asked for reason he threatened to frame us and said he would further ensure that we are fined and de-boarded if we continue to stand there. I along with my 2 other friends am very disappointed from this uncivilized behavior in an honored train such as Rajdhani. The name of the caterer is Rajesh Sharma(as he told). I am further sending his photo as attachment. I had mailed this complaint to [protected]@irctc.com and even tried the customer care helpline but I recieved no response.
