Hi, This regarding Misbehavior of TT to lady senior citizen for corruption. My Mom name Sumitra Goni was traveling from Bangalore to Alnavar in Rani chanamma exp on date 6th Dec 2014. I have book the online Tatkal ticket and mentioned ID proof as Adhar, However Mom due to hurry Mom got ORIGINAL VOTER ID CARD for proof. TT called Annop abused for not having Adhar and mentally harassed till midnight 3 o clock and try to drag her out of the train. Also called railway police on the issue but they left without any comment. When I try to convenience him over phone he abused me with vulgar words and challenged me that how your mom will reach Alnavar. As per the Law Passenger can carry any original ID proof. Kindly take up this issue and suspend the TT. We talk about women safety but in this scenario I don’t see any safety or respect given to our government SERVENTS. Ticket Details.       Greetings, I filed a TDR on 29th May 2012 and after repeatedly mailing them they are giving following reply: Dear Customer, With Reference to your PNR No:[protected], we regret to inform you that refund is not admissible as informed by Railways through their letter no : CSE050612V03299 and the reason being : 'Claim can’t be finalized as old Records NOT available' In case you require any further assistance, please mail us at [protected]@irctc.co.in With regards, TDR TEAM This is not a single case. I have made some more TDRs in the same year ie., 2012 and still I am waiting for the refund amount. I have the documents which showed I didnot travelled on those trains but Indian Railways didnot reply those letters which were continuously forwarded by IRCTC. The TDRs applied are as follows: S# Transaction Id. PNR Number. TDR Entry Date 1 [protected] [protected] 30-Oct-2012 2 [protected] [protected] 29-May-2012 3 [protected] [protected] 22-Jul-2012 4 [protected] [protected] 11-Oct-2012 I wrote a mail to a greivance cell but they forwarded the same to concern people but no action till date.         Recently we visited Tirupati Temple by train and on our return trip we came by Train Name: 'Vivek MAQ Express' Train No: 22851 Class: Sleeper. But to our shock, the coach was already full with Youths and People of Northern States, they were occupying the whole reserved compartment although they did not have any reserved or general tickets. There was no TTR or Railway Crews to pour our grievances. Showing our reserved tickets we managed to get two sleeper seats for our 7 members. The students and boys around 80 numbers were inside the single reserved sleeper coach and they didnot even respond to reserved passengers. This as raised an important question as to whether we should reserve railway tickets for our journey or we may choose bus or other mode of transport ? Usually on recent various train trips, no TTR was seen in our entire journey time. The youths were sitting all over the coach, particularly near the entrance of the toilet which made embarassing for women in the compartment. The ladies inside the compartment were not able to attend natures call due to the presence of boys so near to the toilet throughout the journey. In Future, TTRs should be recruited at the earliest to avoid loss of revenue occuring due to prevalance of passengers without tickets. The Railway authorities should ensure that every passenger getting down from a train has a ticket.

          Dear Sir, I had booked tickets for travel to visakhapatnam. Trains were cancelled because of the Hudhud cyclone.We took alternate transport and reached visakhapatnam. I was not able to cancel the tickets due to unavailability of internet in that area. I sent an email to IRCTC to cancel the tickets and refund the amount. i received confirmation email saying that the email is forwarded for further action. But since then have received no reply.I also called the customer care number several times. They said refund would happen by end of October. I called them again in 1st week of November. They say it would take more time. i would hereby request irctc to please review the below details and refund the amount at the earliest.               While coming from New Delhi Railway station train was being late by approx 5hrs. While journey it is also late, expecting arrival to Howrah station arround 10:30 p.m. I have to go to Chinsurah from Howrah station I don't know whether it will be possible for me to go to home by today.

                Hi, I booked a ticket from Dhanbad to New Delhi my PNR number is [protected], DOJ 9th Nov. Out of two tickets only one was confirmed after chart preparation so I filed a TDR for waiting list ticket. I filed TDR two hours prior to the Journey and the IRCTC system allowed me to do that without giving any warning message. Now I received email from them "With reference to refund against PNR Number [protected] with reason After Charting No Room Provided., it is advised that Railway has introduced Enhanced Coaching Refund System (ECRS), through which e- ticket refund cases against which TDRs are filed are directly registered and transferred to the concerned Chief Commercial Manager/Refunds. Your refund was dealt and regretted by Chief Commercial Manager/Refunds NR under case No. [protected] with reason, Failed to collect TDR/TTE Certificate/GC .". I have two complaints 1) I lost INR1800 without even traveling. 2) If I was following a wrong procedure why I was not given a warning and why system didn't give me an error message. Whenever we try to print a ticket it is clearly mentioned that any un-confirmed ticket won't be considered valid. So how IRCTC don't refund my money. This is the way system of this country loot people. They keep a grey area so that they can make a illegal money. Thanks Pranay

                  I have booked a rail ticket for four passengers in Rameswaram - Okha Express from Katpadi to Manmad and status on Booking is Waiting List to all the four passengers. Two hours prior to the departure of the train chart was finalised and I received a mail regarding the status of my ticket, in which first two passengers in the ticket got confimed and remaining two passengers stood wait listed. Immediately I have filed a TDR for cancellation of two waitlisted passengers. In this connection, I have obtained a written confirmation from the TTE stating that partly waitlisted passengers not travelled in the train on 28/06/2014. Then TTE collected in difference rail fare due to rivision for tow confirmed passengers only and the receipt of the same is also sent to IRCTC. But till date my refund is not made. When ever I send a mail to IRCTC they will simply reply that my request has been sent to south west railway and the request is pending for process. But the South Western Railway confirms that till date IRCTC has not sent the confirmation Certificate received from the TTE stating that partly waitlisted passengers never travelled, which I have sent the Original Certificate to IRCTC. Please help me to get my refund at the earliest.

                    I have Booked a ticket from IRCTC.(PNR number [protected]) the train got delayed by 12 hrs so I filed a TDR for Refund of ticket. Its Been more than a year but I did not receive a single rupee. IRCTC citing the reason that as per letter "DER060214V33306" 'As per chart, passenger has travelled' I have provided the alternate ticket with which i travelled but after that no response from IRCTC.                     Railway rule for cancellation has changed recently. TDR(request for cancellation) must be filed before the departure of train from boarding station if its late by more than 3 hours. Its a weird change but it is true.                     I Cancelled the one online ticket after chart Prepared.So that time cancellation was not possible so I Filled the TDR to refund the amount..


                    Now More than 3 months(more than 95 days) is gone, but i did not get the refund amount.

                      Our PNR No is [protected], we travelled on 25 Oct from Bareilly to New Delhi on12235 / DBRG NDLS RAJEXP. And here the staff was very very rude and totally unprofessional. I wanted to register a complaint and asked for the complaint book at around Hapur, but the same was not provided. I have to remind the attendant Mr Arvind Pandey ( photo attached) 4-5 times and he didnot get me that. Than some guy ( without name tag) who identified himself as Alam came with the attendant and said the complaint feedbook book will not be provided as the train is about to reach the designation. The worst ta hing about the attitude is the way they were talking, so arrogant that anything they do, will go unnoticed and that me being a female they could easily ( man-) handle. These two guys are a disgrace to the railways and should be trained ( they seem beyond training) or sacked before they commit some serious crime. Also at new delhi station they blocked the way and the passengers have to wait before they could alight with their stuff. My specific complaint is 1. Food Quality very bad ( rotten & stale food served) 2. Complaint book not provided even after repeated request 3. The manager in-charge didnot feel the need to visit even though the message for specifically conveyed to him 4. The attitude and behaviour of Arvind Pandey & Alam ( their photos are attached), they looked and behaved like criminals, blocking the way for all the passengers. 5. Staff to display their name at all times.

                        1. This is in regards to PNR#[protected] and transaction ID[protected] travel date was on 16th november. There were 2 passengers 1st passenger was confirmed and second passenger was on waiting which did not get confirmed. First passenger did ask the ticket checker in train for non travelling certificate but he failed to provide that, stating indian railways does not provide any sort of certificate like this for the tickets booked through IRCTC portal. 2. We did file the TDR on same day i.e. on 16.11.2014 at 12 O' Clock in the noon within 2 hours of the departure of the train no 12142 from Patna Jn and then called on your customer care number. executive told me just mark an email to [protected]@irctc.co.in and keep [protected]@irctc.co.in in cc and after that I got system generated massage. 3. The TDR filled was repudiated by the Railways, stating failed to collect TDR/TTE certificate/GC. 4. We booked another ticket under tatkal facility for the passenger whose ticket remained wait listed on 17th Nov. for travel on 18th Nov. PNR no [protected] and transaction ID[protected] . That is simply a proof of that passenger 2 was not travelling with that train. I understand irctc have policies of non travelling certificate but what could be done at that time if TC was denied to provide that. 5. I have filed TDR within 2 hours of actual departure time of train that is 11. 14am and I sent an email to you at 12.42 of same date from the same email id I have that email in my inbox which is clearly showing that I filed tdr and passenger 1 requested to TC for the non traveling certificate which was denied by him. 6.All customer care numbers getting not reachable. I have sent email with attachment but didnt get reply. 7. My Irctc Id is "abhi_fanaa" in which all booking details that can be used as a proof and the genuineness of the complaint. I am expecting a positive response on this please do the needful as soon as possible. Thanking you Regards Shruti prakash

                                I was allowed to board the train and given a confirm seat; BUT none was able to clarify WHY the system showed my booking status to Wait List PQWL after CNF? I was told that If it is CNF then dial 139 and confirm back and board the train and u will get confirm seat. However they were not sure why system did this goo[censored]p.
                                I shudder to think if system would have done wait listing and would have triggered same status to all nodes then I would not have got a confirmed seat for sure. Thankfully the failsafe on irctc server worked this time.
                                Can u plz sort such anamolies in ur systems??

                                  I have booked an Online Ticket through the IRCTC Official website Dated 29th October 2014 (PNR no.[protected]. Due to Waiting List the ticket didn't get Confirmed. As according to the Official procedure the Refund should have reflected in my Bank A/C after few days, but it didn't happen. So it is requested to take further action in response of my complaint as soon as possible.Thanking You

                                    On 03/12/14 I had tried to book a ticket in train no.19611 from REWARI to FARIDKOT for 07/12/14 in SL class the transaction suspended but the amount Rs.361.24 was debited to my Ac.No.[protected]. Which is wrong so kindly credit my Ac. With the same amount immediately.thanks. Rakesh Malhotra ([protected]).

                                      My name is KIRTI . We were traveling from Secundrabad to Lucknow on Dt : 28/11/2014, by Train no : 12590 . PNR no :[protected], Ticket no : A35347408, A35347409 & A35347410, Coach S9, to attend my brothers wedding at Lucknow . I was sitting on seat no : SU32, suddenly the window came down on my right hand on dt : 29/112014 at around 10 am the pain was very severe, and had swelling on the right hand below the little finger . once i reached lucknow on 29/11/14, i went to doctor, he said to go for Xray, he confirmed that there was a hair line fracture and i had to put POP ( Plaster of Paris ) for 3 weeks . I had to attend wedding with a fractured hand due to the poor maintenance of railways . i am also doing my D Pharmacy in Hyderabad . My children are studying, and my husband has to leave office for 3 weeks and look after me .We had to Under go lot of pain, stress. I request the concerned authority to compensate for the loss due to poor maintenance / negligence of your staff . Kindly do the needful .                                         I have cancelled my 2 online train ticket on 24-Nov-2014 but I got refunded amount for only 1 ticket. But for second ticket also it is showing status as refund which is wrong status. I checked my Citi bank debit card transaction which is showing only single refunded amount 1170.
