    I was trying to book a tatkal ticket today through my irctc account. Everytime I logged in I was taken to the intermediate page of the Next Generation e ticketing system. Everytime I clicked on Proceed for Booking, the page could not load, even after 11 am on different browsers. However when I tried the same from my friend's place, with my id, I was not taken to the Next generation system. Instead I was directly taken to the familiar Plan My Travel page and was successfully able to book the ticket, received pnr, sms as well as email. However when I try to log in from my own laptop, I'm again taken to the Intermediate page and the problem persists. This is awful as I can't even cancel/print the ticket from my id. I have tried calling the IRCT Customer Care several times on both the Toll free no. as well as the Mobile no. but either its too busy for the last 2 hours or the call can't be completed. I expected the Next Generation e ticketing system to be faster, but forget booking tatkal ticket I can't even view my new booked history. What kind of a shoddy system is this.

    I have forgot my password, i have reset my password using forgot password option, after that i am unable to login in Next Generation E-ticketing, but i can login another things like update profile (i think it is old system ), is there any one to help me ''prathap.[protected]@gmail.com''

      Hi IRCTC Support, I had an irctc account with userID (gaurjimmy) using my email ID ([protected]@gmail.com). A while back I tried logging in the account to get some tickets booked it showed the userID or the password is invalid (which clearly was the same I'd been using previously). Anyway, I tried using the "forgot password" option to retrieve my password and turns out the answer to my security question was also wrong. I clearly remember my password and the security answer but somehow your system is rejecting them. Now, if I try to create a new account it doesn't allow me because I can't use my mobile number again ([protected]). Please help me in this regard. I've been having a lot of problem with IRCTC lately.         sir i have booked my tickect for 12/06/14 on 8/06/14 from new delhi to secunderabad in Ap exp...soon pnr no was also generated on my mobile no:[protected]...but unfortunately i have deleted my pnr no...when i logged in my irctc account to get pnr number it was showing that there is no booking history and also rs 596 was also deducted from my account...plz solve my pblm as soon as possible...

                      dear sir, now days lot of people use vaireous software for fast booking in tatkal online reservation system, There is lot of fake ids on IRCTC. these people use fake ids in sell in Black ticket in doulbe prize. lot of people wait in long que at Railway reservation counter but there is no respone for a single customer. i am sufferd lot of time by this heavy problum. please do something to stop all these type false purchase by fake irctc ids holder.                                   i booked a ticket from MAS TO NDLS in rajdhani..train time is 6.10 but untill 4.40 the chart is not prepared.. i called customer care they said the chart may prepare before 15 to 30 minutes also...how it can be tolerable..? in case the ticket is not confirmed, Those who are traveling with ladies, kids, and old person after reaching station ..how they will manage?..try to make some solution...

                                    I booked two tickets from Ludhiana to Chandigarh(PNR : [protected], train number :12242 and date of travel :[protected]. Despite advanced online booking (second seating -2S), we got D6 as our coach. Arriving at station we found out that D6 was actually a general coach (they put a sheet of paper on the general coach with writing D6). The 2S compartments in that train are only up to D5. What is the use of booking in advance if we are getting to sit in general compartment. The public there refused to get up saying that it was a general compartment. There was no TC to resolve the issue. Moreover, I got seat number 102 in the booking message by IRCTC, BUT THERE IS NO SEAT NUMBER 102 IN THE TRAIN'S GENERAL COMPARTMENT. As a result we had to travel standing all the way to Chandigarh. I want full refund for my tickets (Rs 172)and compensation for all this hassle.
