    Hi team,

    Recently, i had a train journey in second ac (2-tier) i. E. I didn't book a ticket, rather i took a general super fast train ticket and boarded the train as i didn't get time to get into a general compartment.

    However, i met the ttr (Ticket collection officer on board) and paid the challan/fee for the charges as i took different coach for the ticket i purchased, the ttr up on verification of my identity allotted a seat/berth to me.

    The problem/flaw is here:
    The ttr however allotted a seat/berth to me, but he didn't update it any where, in the sense the same/berth is still available on irctc website under current booking, the same has happened and a guy has booked the same seat/berth under current booking and boarded the train in the next station.
    He approached near my seat/berth and said that he booked the seat/berth under current booking.

    I was unaware of the situation and met the ttr (Here, the ttr has got exchanged and i met the new on boarded ttr), he took some time to cross verify and allotted a seat/berth to me. But, by the time he gave me a seat/berth, the time was late night.

    Request the irctc team to provide an app/link to the ttr's, so that they can update when they provide a challan against a seat/berth, and the irctc website will be in sync, so that this kind of incidents don't arise in future.

    I think this is a technical lag between irctc and the ttr's on train.
    Please provide a solution to this, as irctc is not giving the seat's/beth's for free of cost and they are taking some good amount of money apart from gst and surcharges.

    For your information, i took circar express from ndd and by the time, i reached bza, the above incident happened, and i have the challan which i paid, but that wont work in any sense here.

    Its a lag between irctc and ttr's. Here ttr's only get the paper printout of the irctc website status.

    Request to take some action and make train journey a happy journey.

      Two month has been passed, i am still waiting for payment. Why it is taking too much long time.

      Hello,
      I tried to book tickets b4 days back but have ended up in 3 failed transaction, resulting in deduction of 744.66 thrice on 2nd of Nov 2019.
      I have been noted of refund by IRCTC by email but recieved it only once and the transaction history shows that the amount of an the 3 haw been refunded.

            I had tried booking a ticket on IRCTC app using Google pay but the ticket was not booked when I tried contacting the IRCTC they said that they did not received the payment . I also contacted the Google pay they said they had initiated from their side to the IRCTC merchant bank i.e HDFC bank . I tried booking a ticket on 11 September but still no help and no money refunded even after raise a complaint stays .plz help me someone .

              I booked ticket through irctc mobile app.

              Cancelled it and applied for refund.

              Pnr no.is - [protected].

              The are saying they refunded my amount and refund date is 22 october 2019.

              But I havent receive any refund till date 05 november 2019.

              When I called they said contact bank.

              They have given me Transaction id -
              [protected].

              But by this id bank is unable to give any information.

              Plus, customer care official of IRCTC talks very rudely and in bad way

                I booked my tickets on 5th of nov, from kottayam to banaswadi. The tickets were booked for the 16th of nov. Although the money has been debited from my account, the tickets have not been confirmed yet, and they have shown "pending from bank end". I used google pay as mode of payment and received the confirmatory message regarding the transaction while no information regarding the tickets were received.

                  Hi support team,
                  I have booked the ticket from cstm to nanded dated 4th sept 2019, nandigram express.
                  Train got cancelled i filled tdr on 5th september. Tdr registered and approved but status showing as refund approved by officer, payment under process since oct but the amount was not refunded yet.

                      I am trying to book eticket on irctc website from 3 days in tatkal, firstly the website doesn't open and even if it opens and i put in my credentials of login, one way or the other it logs me out.
                      I went till the payment window, i entered my correct details still it said invalid and the system logged me out.
                      It is a harassment as people are trying to book tatkal tickets from 30 mins early wasting there time for nothing.

                            Tried booking a train ticket from irctc on 3-nov-2019 11 am.
                            Booking transaction id : [protected]
                            Used netbanking payment option and axis bank.
                            After entering the password & otp, the money (Rs. 1184.5) was deducted from my axis bank account but no ticket was issue in irctc. The status shown in irctc is "pending from bank end".

                            As per irctc, refunds are only triggered when the status is either "payment settled but ticket not booked" or "settlement failed and ticket not booked". For the status "pending from bank end" there is no refund triggered. Please help with this issue.

                              It was on 24/10/2019 i was traveling from kharagpur jn to njp jn via karmabhoomi express. The train was more than 3hours late and as per rules i filed a tdr against a family member of mine who couldn't travel due to the inconvenience. The tdr was rightly registered as i even call the irctc helpline to verify the same. And after getting into the train, i even informed the tc about the same and he marked it likewise. But now, irctc is mailing me by saying that the northern railways/frontier has repudiated our tdr as it was not claimed by the party. But i have every proof of the claim. The pnr along with the tdr complaint number as well as screenshots of the mail.

                                I booked below tickets today online using tatkal option. I was not aware of the refund rule of tatkal –confirm booking. I planned to book tickets for below family members.
                                1) ganesh sutar - self
                                2) anushree ganesh sutar - child
                                3) aarti ganesh sutar-spouse
                                Travel from mgr chennai central to hubbali
                                Date of travel : 2nd nov 2019
                                Pnr numbers.
                                1) [protected] — booked
                                2) [protected] — cancelled
                                Due to spouse leg issue i thougth i will get two lower seat in same compartment and one middle but i got two middle and one upper but it was not feasible for spouse due to leg issue she is unable to onboard on middle /upper seat. So i thought without refund knowledge to book another ticket and hopefully will get two lower and one middle but system again given me two middle and one upper anyways i have to cancel one out of these two duplicate tickets with same member same destination. Boarding from mgr chennai central to hubbali. But when i received email saying that i will not receive refund of another cancelled ticket then i shocked what system is build by irctc, i found system flaw here without provision of cancellation of duplicate ticket., system should not allow below either
                                1) if members are same they can’t seat at a time on two different seats
                                2) journey destination is same
                                And if i’m aware about tatkal - confirmed refund rules i would have never booked another ticket or if the system had been designed according to above two points mentioned it should discard me for booking same journey ticket for same people. Please note this point.

                                I would like to request to think about the flaws in the above (Two rules) in your system to save other people from financial loss due to this faulty system. And if possible please refund my whole payment for the set of duplicate tickets kindly, consider this valuable suggestion. I would like to cc to consumer complaint forum too here. If they can help me to get refund of my cancelled tickets i will definitely write to them.

Mdn: [protected] yesterday i was using imudra wallet in that i add my money 7000 rs after adding the money account in 2 minutes automatically i logged out from wallet then after i am unable to logged in my account i ask customer care for this problem they said your account is blocked for reason of blocking please send us a email, after that i send email regarding my problem in mail they replied only one sentence for my 4 mail (You will get your ticket booking amount refund in 7 working days)

                                  I have not booked any ticket yet my concern is on my imudra wallet they are not understanding this also they not reading mail properly.

                                  Please help me on this my money is stuck in imudra wallet.

                                  Same issue as posted by "soheb1805" on Nov 1, 2019. After I topped up iMudra Account using my credit card it was blocked for no known reason.

                                  Through chat and email communicated the issue but looks the support staff are very incompetent, knows nothing except some robotic responses.

                                  (1) They blocked my account and I am unable to login and they wants the statement, how can I get it (they do not sent it by post or email) ?

                                  (2) They want card details for the transaction, which one ? I sent the card of iMudra they says "this is not iMudra Card" . Is it not rubbish that they are unable to recognise iMudra Card which they sent to me and I am using in marchant outlets as well?

                                  Now I want my money back and close my account with such unprofessional service.

                                    I was travelling from delhi to chandigarh on my way and i brought tea and a water bottle the cost of them according to irctc guidelines are rs.7 and rs.15 respectively but the vendor sold me the both for rs.10 and rs.20 respectively it's not about the few rupees it's about the rules which if the government is not itself following. I want a strict action against them

                                      This is in reference to the refund amount to be paid for my cancelled ticket with PNR no. [protected] in Tejas Express for date 30th November 2019.I cancelled my ticket approximately 12 hours before the scheduled departure time.But the amount of refund showing is Rs 210.

                                      The entire ticket costs me Rs 2010.40 and the refund amount showing is very less.As per the policy for Tejas express (Lucknow-Delhi) the amount deducted should be 25 rupees per passenger.

                                        Rail implement otp for refund for agent. If agent mistake to type phone no. He can not get refund but he bound to pay the customer. Agent is simple a human being. Mistake can be happen any time. But no way to recover. If any agent misleading with any customer he should be punished. But but why all agent suffer for this.

                                        Why rail implement this type of rules for agent only. Where a man book ticket in irtctc web site he get cheaper than agent. Unemployment man are take agency from irctc. But now a days very much minimum ticket done by agency everybody buy ticket their own app.in this. Coz app will cheaper that agency.

                                        Agency is suffering from earn. No commission. No tatkal facility no incoming ticket facility. When agency open all ticket finished.

                                        Why rail provide agency, where rail not provide any commission?

                                        This is simply exploit for unemployment people,

                                        Agent give registration charge, annul charge, dongle charge. But no commission. It is dangerous when are more expensive then irctc own website.

                                        And now a days otp refund too much disgusting. Where rail auto cancel waiting ticket. Provide otp after 3 days. Why customer wait 3 days for refund? Where in irctc website when any cancel done refund automatically deposited in their account.

                                        Totally non professional, non helpful, shrued, non cooperative, confirmed seat given to his relative. Travelled 10 bogies to search for TT, and available TT not ready to help, need to find myself the one who is assigned. Mr. Prabhu request you to give this part to private players, atleast they are good at customer service.Thank you
