I am travelling in ladies compartment from dhaulpur to jaipur in train number 19665 and the compartment is full of male passengers.. When i asked one of the give me a place to sit because it's a ladies compartment then that person denied me to do that... Instead of providing me seat he started fighting with me... Such a shameful behavior of a male person towards a woman in india...in india, we are focusing on women empowerment and this incident shows that how poor mentality we have where male person are proudly sitting in ladies compartment and arguing with them... Sham on...

    Sir this incident take place in january 2018 tc of ghatkopar station had caught me on platform bridge just i was crossing from east to west and because public bridge was in underconstruction. He grab me from my back colar like theif and trear me like i had done murder or something and take me to office where he punch me in my stomache and slap me because i just told her that i m not having ticket and fine me double sir as we dont know any rules related to railway so railway can treat any how??? Sir which law is this that u cannot cross east to west u need ticket?? Sir i request u to take some step realted to this plz i request u plz sir

      For cancellation of your ticket, please log in to your account, select the pnr you wish to cancel and cancel your ticket online. Cancellation of your e-ticket is possible only on the website www.irctc.co.in, and is not possible on prs counters.

      Cancellation of e-tickets

      (1) e-ticket can be cancelled online till preparation of charts (Which is normally 4 to 6 hours before the scheduled departure of the train from the originating stations. (For trains starting up to 12 noon the chart preparation is usually done on the previous night) or 4 hours before the scheduled departure of boarding the train in case of confirmed ticket or 30 minutes before the scheduled departure of boarding the train in case of rac/wl whichever is earlier. If by any reason you are unable to cancel your ticket on the website till the time of charting please mail to [protected]@irctc.co.in. User can check their refund status online by clicking "refund status" link after logging in. All refund will be processed as per extent railway refund rules. Please refer refund rules here.

      (2) after preparation of charts, the user shall have to file online tdr for claiming refund. Irctc forward the case to concerned zonal railway on the basis of customer request through edr and enhance coaching refund system. The refund case will be decided by railways. The tdr can be filed by the same user who books the ticket. After receipt of the refund amount from railway, it shall be credited only in the same account through which booking was made through opted payment gateway. If by any reason you are unable to file tdr through website please mail to [protected]@irctc.co.in. User can check tdr/refund status through tdr history. All refund will be process as per extent railway refund rules. Please refer refund rules here.

      (3) any refund amount will be credited only in the same account through booking was made by user. Customer is advised not to close that account so that refund amount will be credited back.

      Now user can change boarding station from irctc's website. To change boarding station please log into irctc website then go to book ticket history page then select the pnr and choose new boarding station.

      For change in name customer can now approach the nearest railway reservation office with electronic reservation slip print out and photo identity proof mentioned in the electronic reservation slip at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure of train as per existing railway rules.

      Once you have cancelled your ticket, the fresh details and changes made by you will be available on the cancelled e-tickets history (As a link to site). The refund amount due to you after cancellation will be credited back to the same account which you had used for booking the ticket.

      Please refer trailing mail i need your help that on 22-apr-2018 i booked the ticket from sangrur to jaipur with pnr no [protected] for journey dated 11-may-2018 with return journey booking with pnr no [protected] from jaipur to ambala cantt for journey dated 13-may-2018.

        Dear sir,
        On sunday morning i went to makronia railway station comes under sagar district madhya pradesh to book tatkal ticket but at ticket counter i was told on sunday we do not create tatkal ticket, for the first time i have heared that tatkal ticket will not be created on sunday. Is this information is true? Really tatkal ticket counter is closed on certain day? If answer is no then could you please look into this matter, i found this matter suspicious there and felt cheated. Could you please let me know what action should any citizen should take if get in this situation again?

            I have been really embarrassed by indian railways service... I mean for really what the heck?
            F* punctuality
            I wanted to travel to pune junction from danapur junction (Scheduled time for danapur - pune super fast train is 10:55 pm but train leaved the station 2 minutes early.. At 10:53pm. I couldn't catch the train just for minutes,,, i even called gaurd who was there in train to stop the train he ignored...
            Then after trained leaved station, i tried to open indian railways official site & for god's sake (It did even got open)... I almost lost control over mind... The fu* services of indian railways...

              I have booked two e-tickets through irctc website. E-ticket booked on 28.2.2018 bearing pnr no [protected] for bsb-kyn for travel on 4.5.2018 has cancelled on 26.04.2018 for which the refund amount of rs.3470 has not been received so yet.

                Dear sir,
                I am ramanand sagar, had to travel from barddhaman junction to guwahati on train 07149 secunderabad guwahati special (Pnr number: [protected]). But train was late, it's scheduled departure time was 12:52 and the estimated arrival/departure time was 17:59/18:00. I reached the station (Barddhaman junction) by 17:30 but train had already departed from the station before 17:25. The train running status and booked ticket proofs are attached herewith.

                Please, reply and try to resolve the problem.

                  Lost a black lenovo laptop bag which had a laptop and some bedsheets and blanket in it on possibly secunderabad railway station or in konark express on 5th may 11:30 to 4pm.
                  I'm not sure if i lost it in the konark express or on platform no.10 or the prepaid ac waiting hall there. Had a coolie carry the luggage and hence didn't realize a bag was missing. Please help me out. I'm a student and the laptop is very important to me.

                      I have been travelling from kerala to chennai with my parents in mangalore express (12686) train had to be reached by 8.30 but it has not reached till 2.00pm still on the way if railway should atleast provide some food and water no facility available they take all the money they required waste.. If there is any issue in train delay there should be should be message so that we can arrange some food as railway authorities so not provide any facility kindly do some action against the same or keep some system to keep people update about the delay so that we could be well prepared 1 or 2hour is also ok but a train reaching at 8.30 am is reaching at 4.30pm is this not an issue are the railway authority sleeping kindly take some feedback

                        Dear sir/ma'am,
                        This is with due respect to the the gorakhpur reservation counter staff i come to you with my grievance/night mare my family had to face in cancelling the waiting list ticket (Which is not yet confirmed) for train gorakhpur exp:, 12591, pnr: [protected] which will depart from gorakhpur station tomorrow morning[protected] at 6:35 am (Now delayed by 15 hrs). Unfortunately we got no support from any reservation booking counter staff in gorakhpur (Gorakh shala booking center), who mis guided us stating that we can cancel it even from remote centers in delhi. As we were getting late and had a train to catch, we believed him and headed to delhi and then we were told that we need to do it from gorakhpur only. This has been a very painful experience for us. I hope you understand and kindly advise us on the same. Also, this is a waiting list ticket, and we had a family of 4 people with 1 kid and 2 senior people who couldn't afford to travel without confirmation. We had produced the original tickets at both the stations.

                        The train is also delayed by 15 hours and we also tried to get the refund from stations like lucknow, nagpur, balarshah, anant vihar and h nizzamudin but unfortunately we didn't receive the refund.

                        Since this is a waiting list ticket, i hope you will understand our grievance and help us recieve the refund of rs 8480/-

                        I have also filed tdr for refund via [protected]@irctc.co.in. I also currently have the original ticket handy in case you would like me to post it to you for your reference.

                          I am register user of irctc and mostly book ticket for konkan railway, nowdays i realized problem of online booking with irctc app and website also. If i am already logged in system through me out and make logout, and all booking also gone which are available in tatkal. These due to influence of agents and it's a major issue. Common people never get service due to such issues. I request you to take serious action against it. Stop influence of agaents. I also have screenshot of my login where system showing server error. Then how agents get the all tickets? Please respond.

                            On the platform no. 1, male reservation waiting hall, there is a female looking like south indian creating problems for all other passengers and fighting with them. When i went to rpf office on platform no-1, they send me to grp and from grp office i have got the same response. Finally no buddy came to help us by taking excuse that they have no female officer with them. It's very shamefull that the capital station of bihar has not a single female officer on duty. This event happened on 5th may 2018, at 3.30pm. And given contact no. Outside the rpf office of their superior officer is also not valid, i. E [protected]

                              My PNR NO.[protected] and No.[protected].(Train No.19302 & 19301-Indore Yeshwanthpur Express).
                              Even after paying high charges for tickets in a.c. the coaches, was not cleaned from the beginning of the station itself. Even after registering the complaint to the Railway helpline they did not take any action. Even water was not available at toilet. Rawailways should improve their existing service better than concentrating on new coaches. 3rd class service in first class coaches.

                                Travelled in 2 tier AC from Chennai to Coimbatore on the 1st May 2018.

                                Seat no. 9 of A2 coach was torn already. Didn't realise that the berth is full of bed bugs.

                                Struggled the whole night without sleep until 3 a.m., to finally realise that the cause was bed bugs.

                                Finally sought help from the TTE who promptly gave me an alternative berth in the next coach.

                                But this is poor maintenance issue from railways.

                                  I have tried to book a ticket on tatkal on 27.04.2018 for having a journey on 28.04.2018 for three passengers for which a sum of rs.1250 was deducted from my bank account and the same was not yet refunded. My transaction id-[protected].
                                  Why this type of mistakes frequently heppening.
                                  Last time also two cancelled tickets not refunded. But after submitting a complaint it was credited after 20 days.
                                  Please avoid such a delay in crediting the amount.

                                  I further inform that Tatkal Ticket was not booked and due to delay payment process by Mobiquick agent payment was failed. But the amount was deducted from my bank account on 27.04.2018.

                                    I had a premium tatkal booking under pnr [protected] dated 29/01/2018 and i booked my luggage in the same train under rr no 832021. My goods have not been received here. The doon express reached howrah late in the evening on 1st may. As the luggage van was outside the platform and the same was not opened. For the last 2 days i have been calling at the railway office at howrah but i have not received the goods.

                                      I was working indian ralway. North central railway. Under senior section engineer/ signal/juhi, kanpur.in the post of sse/signal/gmc.
                                      I was retired on 30/04/2014.

                                        The indian railway is a group of thief. They totally working on stealing poor people money. They are providing most ugly services.in congress period it was good. But bjp totally spoiling this services. Indian railway is the most bad services in world. They cut off my money, but didn't book ticket. And they don't even return my money still now. Even after i called in railway helpline so many time. 139. But they didn't respond.
