Respected sir,
I have today booked my to and fro journey ac3 tickets by rajdhani express from ranchi to new delhi / vice versa vide forward journey pnr number [protected] and return journey ticket pnr number [protected].
As usual, i had applied for booking of lower berth consideration. To my surprise, while in both ticket on line booking, approx. 228 numbers berths initially were available for confirmation, but after my booking, i got middle berth for forward journey and side upper berth for return journey
I fail to understand - how this is possible while almost the entire train ac3 berths were fully available with its assured confirmation.
Probably, this is related to the software logics that is creating this situation. More so, i am a senior citizen and the booking software should automatically support for lower berth booking / confirmation. But what is happening, it is just the reverse, even on my specific request for lower berth.
I think, this needs to be set right.
I would request you to look into this issue and take corrective action on urgent basis in your system software to assure lower berth especially for a senior citizen.
