I booked a tatkal ticket on train no 22667 coimbatore exp with pnr no. [protected], with boarding station as nagercoil junction (Ncj), date of journey 3rd december 2017, time of departure 21:30.

My home town is in balaramapuram (Bram) which is almost 55 km from ncj. I usually boards 56313 (Tiruvananthapuram cental - nagercoil passenger) (Bram departure time 18:23, ncj arrival time 19:55) to reach ncj to board train no. 22667. On the day as usual, i took ticket from bram to ncj. But as the train hadn't arrived till 18:45, i checked train status in my mobile and it showed the train 56313 hadn't departed yet from the starting station trivandrum central. I also found another train 56315 (Thiruvananthapuram - nagercoil passenger) was still halting at nemom station, station just before bram.

While taking ticket, the staff hadn't informed me about the late running of trains. So i again reached the counter, informed details about the train i need to catch and inquired the cause of delay. I also inquired whether train 56315 will come soon or should i arrange other mode of transportation. But the staff's response was rude. He replied he haven't been informed about the reason for delay and told me to use some android app if i need to get any information. I requested him to contact nemom station and provide information, but he was reluctant to get information and started to shout on me.

When i rechecked train status for 56315, it showed the train departed nemom station by 18:49. On the hope the train won't be delayed in any other station, i boarded the train. But the train halted at the very next station, neyyatinkara (Nyy).

So i inquired staff's in nyy about the delay. The staff's there were very helping. They informed the train will depart only after 20:30. They also informed the delay was due to some work near kulitturai, a station yet to arrive, and it was already informed at every station about the delay. They were asking haven't i been informed about the delay while taking ticket.
There were many other passengers too in train 56315, who needed to board train 22667. And it was too late for us to arrange other mode of transport to reach ncj.

So the staff's there suggested us to take ticket and board train no. 16724 ananthapuri express, which was already running late and will reach nyy soon. They informed train 16724 will leave before train 56315 and if no delay occurs, the train will reach ncj before 21:30. They also called ncj station and informed about the situation and requested to delay train 22667 for few minutes, if in any case train 16724 got delayed.

The train left nyy by 20:11 and ran without any delays. The train reached near to ncj by 21:15. But the train was halted few kilometers before ncj in some deserted outer location. The train halted there for almost 20-25 mins and was taken into ncj station only by 21:46.
But by that time the train 22667 was long gone. It left station exactly at 21:30.

As it was important for me to report for work the very next day, i was forced to travel in general compartments. I had to take new tickets and to board multiple trains to reach erode. I couldn't even sleep for half an hour during the journey.

The bram station staff should have informed me about the delay when i was taking ticket. I could have arranged some other mode of transportation to reach ncj, if i was properly informed, at least when i made the inquiry.
And in ncj, train 16724 could have reached ncj before 21:25.

I request to take necessary steps to provide refund for ticket with pnr no. [protected], to provide proper compensations for the mental, physical and financial stress i had underwent and to take proper disciplinary action towards the staff in bram station for his irresponsible and rude actions.

Note: the name of bram staff is not known; but he is the only ticket counter staff i had seen there for more than a year. As of my knowledge he is the only staff over there.

    At present we r travelling by shalimar express
    Train no 18029 boggi no.17. We r having reservation tickets from kalyan to shegao
    I. But when we boarded at kalyan there were some passengers who were already seated in our reserved seat and refused to get up by telling we r having free journey and we can seat any where. My question is for how many days these people r eligible for free journey and whether there is no value for our reservation ticket.

    I am senior citizen travelling from shalimar express, train no 18029 with my wife from kalyan to shegao in no.17 today. We r having our reservation tickets. But some of the passenger who were already boarded refused to get up by telling they r having right for free journey and they can seat anywhere.
    My question is for how many days these people r allowed for free journey and whether our reservation tickets r having no value.

      Dear sir/ madam

      I am a regular passenger of the train kochuveli - amristsar sf express (Train no-12483).. But this train is always disappointing passengers including me because of its continuous late running every week.. This train is callled sf express, but it runs like super slow express... The main problem of super slow occurs between alwaye - thrisur route, thrisur_ shoranur route, where the train applies brakes for more than 20 minutes. This happens regularly every week. I dont know why this happens every time.. The main problem is it always give space to pass other local trains.

      It is very sad to say that the punctuality of the train is very poor... Kindly make necessary arrangements to solve the problem and appoint a driver with good caliber

        Dear sir

        Again i would like to submit the following for your kind consideration.

        This is not a tdr case.

        E ticket vide` pnr no [protected] was booked or 27 th aug boarding ex delhi 7 am.

        On 26 th aug afternoon on process of cancellation, msg on the screen : train cancelled. Refund is under process.; hence did not allow me to to go further processing on web screen.

        I did not travelled against the above pnr.

        On 28 th aug after understanding that the tarin restored, to be on safe side i applier for refund thru tdr.

        Today i have been to railway ministry and they directed me to irctc.

        Irctc confirmed that eastern rrly had rejected the refund claiming, ticket not submitted within 4 hrs of departure.

        It is a train cancellation and refund is automatic. Subsequent restoration does not affect me as i intended to cancel the ticket on 26 th aug around 12 noon,

        Pls arrange to refund the full amount at the earliest.

          Hlo myself nidhi bhan i was travelling with my daughter n mother in law on 13 nov from mumbai to jammu. We have booked 2 tyre tckt but they give us 3tyre. On the way i had lost gold n some cash tweeted on india n railway. Pathankot police said book ur complaint in jammu but jammu police refused to lodge a complaint and said there are lot of cases. There is no recovery till date. Please help me to search my belonging. Thanking u

            I have cancelled ticket no 41469374 pnr [protected]from kannur to ahmedabad (3rd ac) train no:p19259 date of journey 26.01.2018. (No of persons 5).

            This ticket was cancelled on 17.10.2017, 10.55 hrs. Thro debit card (Central bank of india). The refund amount of rs 7280/- is not yet refunded to my account even after more than 50 days.

            Please look into the matter urgently.

                Please find enclosed my letter dated 20.11.2017 through ecrly/r/ 2017/80184 and your reply vide letter no. Wpe/22/rti/hq.343/17, dated 20.11.2017 with regard to action taken against namala sanyasi rao (Provident fund no. Npsigo70425) recruited as assistant loco pilot with false medical certificate of physical fitness and later on became junior clerk and presently working in east coast railway, cao (Con), waltair division, visakhapatnam.

                Namala sanyasi rao having tendency of criminal conspiracy with much greed indulged in forgery and encroachment of land for constructing multi storey building situated at bhavani gardens, old iti junction, visakhapatnam resulting 2 firs filed by the vth town police station of visakhapatnam vide nos.493/2015, dated 19.11.2015 & 104/2016, dated 15.04.2016 under sections 417, 420, 468, 471 r/w. 34 ipc.in order to avoid arrest namala sanyasi rao had obtained 2 anticipatory bails from iv addl. District & sessions judge, visakhapatnam vide crl. M. P. 2510/2015, dated 14.12.2015 & crl. M. P. 1263/2016, dated 27.05.2016 (Copies enclosed).in first fir no.493/2015 forgery of documents have been proved by forensic laboratory, hyderabad and charge sheet filed in iiird metropolitan magistrate court, visakhapatnam vide c. C. No.196/2017, dated 03.04.2017 (Copies enclosed for information).

                I have received an information from the railway board, new delhi stating that, “gm (Vigilance)/ecor vide his letter no. Ecor/vi/ pers/comp./253/16/397 dtd.[protected] intimated that the allegations made against sri namala sanyasi rao has been investigated by vigilance department of south central railway on the reference made by central vigilance commission. The case has been inquired by vigilance department/ecor/bbs against namala sanyasi rao, junior clerk and based on the report, major penalty charge sheet (Sf-5) has been issued by dy. Cee/con/vskp vide letter no. E/con/nsr/d and a/2017/244 dated 01.11.2017”

                Because of too much greediness for money namala sanyasi rao had dared to join as asst. Loco pilot as the job is fetching more money than other similar posts despite his disability of having a disease of epilepsy by birth. He worked as asst. Loco pilot for 8 years is nothing but played deadly game with lakhs of commuters travelled by trains.
                The truth of his dangerous employment had come to knowledge of the family members when police questioned his occupation for filing fir for involving in the above mentioned forgery and criminal conspiracy cases.

                The above played deadly game is unwarranted and condemnable by each and every body as the commuters travelled by trains operated by the greedy epilepsy disease person for 8 years is horrible.in this connection, it should be made known to everybody that, such epilepsy disease greedy persons should not occupy very sensitive jobs involving security of public life.

                The related information sought under rti act, 2005 dated 20.11.2017 has not been supplied stating that the issue is not related to large public interest. This is the issue is connected with lakhs of commuters travelled by trains for 8 years. Hence, you are requested to supply the following information immediately.

                  Sir, i have reserved a ticket from new delhi to mathu. My pnr no-[protected], train no-12191 dated dec-01-2017. When i reached new delhi to boarding the
                  Train, suddenly i saw the display the board. The board is showing the train is going from nzm railway station. I catch the train in nzm to pay 300/ rupees.
                  Who is answerable for this mistake & why not railway inform the passenger.

                    I m abnish kumar ishwar made i tiket in train no.13043 pnr [protected] amount 655 DOJ 29.11.17 but ticket not confirmed till journey and cancelld automatically and on 30.11.17 recd a mssage rs.475 refunded in your account. And same amt. Returned. What is my fault why my 655 not refunded? If not confimed tkt or cancceled by me so less refund solve and refund my whole amount Other wise i go to consumer forum

                      Train no 12323 (Hwh anvt express) after leaving mugal sarai running very slowly & stooped several times. After leaving allahabad also train is running very slowing & continued stopping in several places. Train is late around two & half hours. The reason is unknown to me. Please look into the matter immediately so that the passenger can reach anvt in schedule time.

                        Dear Sir One bundle of herbal soap weighing 35 kgs was booked to Viskhapatnam on 28 Nov 2017. On 01 Dec 2017 it was known that item was not delivered at vishakhapatnam instead it was delivered at Patna. RR No Of the parcel is 271211. It is requested that parcel may be tracked at the earliest and delivered at Vishakapatnam.

                          I am ajay babu. I am working in indian air force. Due to fracture in my left hand i was going sick leave on 4th dec17. At 1900hr i have reached in the jodhur jn railway station. After that i have traveled in 12308 (S1/46) ju hawh sup exp from jodhpur to kanpur.
                          Sir, in between that time i have lost my arm force identy card. Sir please help regarding lost id card. My phone no.[protected] /[protected].

                            I, t. C. Gupta, board jammu mail (14034) from katra on 22-11-17 and lost my apple ipod some whare (At night) in between pathankot to delhi (Subzi mandi). I was on birth no. 30 and we have other 5 births (36, 38 + 3 more) in coach no a-3 (2nd ac) of said jammu mail. My ipod may have sliped from by jacket on my seat.                               Dear sir, please noted that the ticketless travel is very common in metro city like mumbai. I remember few years back tc raided few platforms in mumbai and they collected 13 crs.in few days. It is possible to have similar drive in mumbai. The problem is law abiding people have to bear the cost of ticket less travellers. Above all, where all the tc disappear, i have not seen a single tc in past 3 months. Are they paid for doing nothing, then why to hire them. The conditions are so pathetic that people has lost the faith in the adminstration. Can you please look into the same.

                                I am at amethi railway station right now. No any train is here till 5.00 am. When i ask for retiring room. Station master told that it’s key is not with me. When tte will come at morning he will provide you. All other rooms are locked. Only station master room is open.
                                I don’t know what the hell is this. He is not attending the passengers. Although he is dealing very politely. But i don’t know about the excuses.

                                  Right now my self and my wife traveling to ambala cantt fro raipur. We both are senior citizen but while on line booking we opted for lower bearth but we were allotted both upper bearth. My wife is unable to climb upper bearth. As one upper bearth will remain vacant and she has to on floor 2ac.
                                  We requested to coach conductor but all in vein. Money wasted and lot of stress and inconvenience.

                                    Since the rayalaseema train has been changed. Its causing inconvienience for the students and employees as hubli express departs early and no where we have a train in accordence to our timings and we ought to waot for 1.5 hrs. I request you to allot an other train for replacement of rayaleema, atleast for a short distance or atleast make begumpet as a stop for gulbarga express in evenings.
