I had booked my household parcel 4 bags from gondia to pune on 22.06.2017. I got the sms of loading the a parcel on 11040 dtd 23.06.2017. However after that still parcel is not reached to pune. Tracking of pwb [protected] shows it is "loaded on train". I am worried as i am trying to contact both gondia and pune parcel office and not getting any support.

    Sir my train no 17226 i have booked my ticket from giddalur to vijayawada on 28 jun 17 but the train was so late and running status have not been received online and the doors for ac coach r not opened. So i faced so many problems at my journey with my childrens and my family so pls update the current status of train running status and provide always doors open at station.

      Today while traveling in tr no. 18239 from korba to nagpur at coach no. S2 (65, 67, 68) 3 to 4 drunk people refuce to give the berth places and missbehave. Furious is they were talking about if we cut you and through somewere no one knows this is chattisghar.
      Still ppl are missbehaving & i m feelings what will happen next.
      Plz have some quick actions.

Me true collar pe such huo o mo.           Sir,

          I ( N Elangovan, Mobile No:[protected], Age 54 ) intended to travel on 26 Jun 2017 through Ernakulum Bangalore ( Intercity express). My son was checking for a Tatkal availability and he booked a ticket on 25 Jun 2017 at 11 AM through IRCTCI mobile app which was a waiting list unfortunately.
          I received a message from DM-IRCTCI promptly at 25 Jun 2017 1t 11.23 Am that
          PNR:[protected] Train:12678 DOJ[protected]S, CBE-SBC Dep 12:50 Elangovan N RLWL117 fare 155, SC:0.0+PG+INS
          Neither my son nor I am aware that e waiting list is not authorized ticket to travel it get cancelled automatically after the third day and Railways will refund the amount his account.
          Due to our ignorance I have travelled with the SMS and I have paid penalty as a ticketless traveler.
          Today I received a SMS from DM-IRCTCI at 27 Jun 2017 1t 13.45 Pm that
          PNR:[protected] ticket cancelled amt 95 will be refunded in your account within three days . Please check your account /instruments from which this tkt was booked.
          I highly appreciate the prompt service by IRCTCI

          When the ticket was booked on Tatkal service a day before actual journey the money was deducted ( Rs 155/-. when the refund was done after four days is Rs. 95/ after deduction of cancellation charges.
          I have paid Rs 430 (Fare ( Rs 180/ towards fair (the unreserved open ticket is Rs 150/) + excess Fare Rs 250).
          I was travelling in the unreserved compartment and the TTE levied the excess fare from at Tirupur Station.
          My question to Indian Railways and authorities is
          1. if the booking tool is updated with the logic of not booking a ticket when the user is trying to book the ticket on Tatkal service and the status is waiting list above the specified limit to deny the booking rather than entertaining the user and leading to all complications thereafter.
          2. Railways and authorities if made the system to generate the SMS about the ticket cancellation yesterday one hour before the departure of the train rather than today then I could have averted a ticket less travel and the humiliation what I faced in front of the co passengers.
          3. If Railways and authorities made any additional intimation about the e-waiting list (waiting list shall be treated as passenger travelling without ticket) on the initial SMS would have averted all the complications.
          4. If the eticket is invalid why the cancellation SMS messages is triggered on 27 Jun 2017. It should have before the commencement of the journey or on the same day of the booking 25 Jun 2017(since the booking was Tatkal in nature)
          The IRCTCI and its authorities vision and mission is a fair service then you may think of improving the system.
          Suggest you to publish the eTicket rules and regulations on the Railway premises promptly can improve the service better.
          Hope the automated SMS messages are part of the service and its charges also inclusive of the booking & cancellation charges levied from the passengers.
          Logically Money is deducted on 25 Jun 2017 at 11:23 Am for the e booking ticket.
          Ticket cancellation intimation is updated to the user after the journey date ie 27 Jun 2017 at 13:45.
          Railways collected Rs 155/- for the invalid ticket from the moment it was booked and collected penalty Rs 430 for the same journey and trying to refund after 04 days. I just want to know in the entire transactions my money Rs 585/- was with Railways authorities from the time when I paid the penalty.
          Logically the ticket is cancelled on 27 Jun 2016 (per SMS update) for which the penalty is levied on 26 Jun 2017 even the Indian Railways and its authorities not bothered to update the passenger about the etaicket waiting list invalidity through the basic mode of SMS which they communicated in both the cases.
          On the second SMS it is evident (Please check your account /instruments from which this tkt was booked) the system and the authority is aware that the first party who booked the ticket is not travelling and the SMS what they communicate is partial.
          Due to Railway authorities system flaw I have been humiliated as a ticketless traveler by the TTE and paid penalty. I have attached the excess fair ticket for your ready reference.
          I request you to do a justification with due diligence and modify the system immediate so that passengers suffering in future can be avoided.

          suggestions

          1. Ewait list ticket should be considered as a unreserved open ticket.
          2. If Indian railways want to treat the ewaitlist ticket as a null and void then they should update about the cancellation well before the commencement of the journey through SMS.
          3. The booking tool should be updated with the logic of not booking a ticket when the user is trying to book the ticket on Tatkal service and the status is waiting list above the specified limit to deny the booking rather than entertaining the user and leading to all complications thereafter.
          4. If Railways authorities updated the additional intimation about the e-waiting list (e-waiting list shall be treated as passenger travelling without ticket if found in train) on the initial SMS can avert all the complications.
          5. Indian Railways and authorities should have update the system to generate the SMS about the ticket validity immediate or the cancellation intimation at least an hour before the departure of the train could avert a ticket less travel of a customer.
          6. If Railways & authorities treat the e-wait list ticket as a invalid one then why the cancellation SMS messages is getting triggered a day after the journey. It clearly indicates a foul play here on the system. Cancellation should have been before the commencement of the journey or on the same day of the booking (if the booking is Tatkal in nature)
          7. The fare levied ( Rs180) is higher than the normal open (unreserved) ticket (Rs 150) having no valid reason.
          8. The excess fare (Rs250 In my case) levied by the TTE on the invalid e-waitlist is purely due to the flaw of the Railway ticket booking system and the authorities who intentionally kept the customer in dark.
          9. Indian Railways has many laurels if they pay attention on few issues which are recursive one like e-wait list can better the experience of the travel.
          10. I request the authorities to refund the excess fare levied and amend the flaws in the booking system along with publishing the basic regulations of the e ticket booking on all the Raiway premises. Low priced guides lines on e booking also can be retailed at your booking counter out let to bring in more awareness to the customers.

                Ref: excess fare charged in pnr no.[protected] tickets for mumbai from howrah for dated 28/07/17 in train no 12262 duranto express.

                Dear sir,

                I purchased a tickets as above paying a sum of rs. 7700/-.. While the system in the internet shows that the charges should have been rs. 2665/- for 2 person in general and rs. 1875/- in senior citizen. The total of which should be rs. 7155/-. I therefore found that your system has rs. 545/- excess.

Sir please find my mobile quickly. Please make enquiry from coach attendent i m sure he has stole my mobile beacuse there was no other in that coach when he stole my mobile.                     Dear sir,

                    My bag was lost on train in jhansi station. During the travel, bag contains laptop - (Make model-hp, elitebook2570, s. No - cnu307bddc), laptop charger, vodafone safety identity card and driving licence. This incident happened on dated 25th of june'17 and time is at 00:15 during my approved leave to attend the family function.

                    I booked the ticket 19666/intercity express from gandhinagar jaipur to mahoba with pnr-[protected] but train has been canceled/or route diverted from gandhinagarjaipur due to gurjar's people were on strike for demanding of reservation in civil services so i changed the other option to reach at destination.

                    I planned to travel by bus from jaipur to agra and then caught the train from agra to mahoba on dated 24th of june' 17 with the train number 12190/ mahakoshal express on general compartment due to unavailability​ of reservation.
                    So during the travel when the train has reached at jhansi station and during the halted of period i was talking someone for seat to me and then after i got noticed where the bag was kept but bag didn't shown and it was lost. I tried to search bag and those people who were drop down at station but disappointed hands.
                    Then i registered the complaint with the grp police station jhansi.
                    Please do the needful on this..

                      I booked a berth in westcoast superfast express from tirur (Tir) to mangaluru cntrl (Maq)
                      And my berth was given to some another person without my consent and the ttr told me to take that person's seat.. When i complained to him he told me to adjust with what you are given and no alternate solution was provided. Iam not at all satisfied with this attitude of the official because i truly believe that indian railways treats the people in a good manner. And seeing this aptitude its really hurting

                        Sir, i have booked a ticket from new tinsukia to new delhi by train no. 12423 in 3ac and due to some reasons i preponed my date of journey. so i tried to cancel it through reservation counter but rejected by the concerned staff and i was told go through TDR cancellation as per order by railway board circulation no. 59.ii. hence i had cancelled my ticket on dated 22/01/2017. sir i have contacted so many times regarding the refund amount but they always assured me to get the amount very soon. i will be very thankful to you if you kindly consider upon my poor request.                             I have booked a steel box from ddn to arrange on 10 th june 2017 (Lt no-698890). They booked my luggage & on arrival to arrange, i came to know that parcel office is no more in ara,. They told me to go & check at danapur, patna, & rajendranagar. I went there but luggage was not there & officials are talking rudely & not entertaining the consumers problem.                               Hi team,

                              My family luggage got stolen at new delhi station on 12 june, 2017 at 3am from waiting room.
                              Cash, tickets, atm cards, mobile everything is lost. My brother went to file a complaint to railway police, grp, delhi police but no one were ready to help and lodged a fir.
                              Railway police constable mr yadav who was on duty was more concerned to help the thief. It seems that they all are involved.
                              My family had to board back punjab mail train at 05.30am for mumbai but they didn't have cash and tickets. I called on 138 for help they said to fill up the memo which tc carries with him and assured no penalty will be charged for lost ticket.
                              But even after explaining the entire scenario he charged us 2500k for tickets.
                              We also had 3 time convo with the thief on the stolen mobile and requested him to return our documents. He was in waiting room and grp could've easily trace him through cctv or call records.
                              I was asked to call on various no [protected], 182, 138 etc and got a reference id[protected].
                              I was advised to lodge complaint at kalyan stn grp. Now kalyan grp is asking us to get the status of complaint by contacting delhi police.
                              How can we get the status of fir without having any contact no. Moreover they will be least interested in entertaining us.
                              This is so disappointing and sad state of affairs by indian railway.
                              I've also tweeted this issue to railway ministry but all in vain.

                              We 15 people traveling by train no 18519 (Visakhapatnam to LTT).We all will get down at LTT.It is almost 25 hours journey .For such a long journey train pantry facility not provided.how people will get morning breakfast ? Lunch ? Dinner? Any other needs ? Please do the needful .

                                I am using smart card for railway ticket bookings, i am happy with it. But just wanted to report one issue which i have faced twice due to faulty atvm machine in malad east. I booked a ticket and money got deducted but no ticket was printed. Also the machine did not show any error. This is not acceptable as there is no way of getting the money back. There should be some option to reclaim the money as its a waste of time and money both due to the faulty machines.
                                Indian Railways customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
                                Sir, I got cancelled my ticket PNR No [protected] on 29/05/17. Refund type was electronic. But till date my money is not refunded. Please do the needful.

                                  I have boarded from nagpur station to ahmedabad in howrah ahmedabad exp. 12834.in 2nd ac. I noticed that the condition of coach is worst and the very strong bad smell observed in both side toiled, when i asked to coach attendent for cleaning schedule of toilet, then he told me that the cleaning is done just now, but we were not satisfied on. His answer after seeing current situation of toilet... We strongly disappointed by the coach condition and hygine... Its not worth for money that we paid for 2 tier ac..

                                    Happened to go 2katra station on25th instant. Toilets condition horrible. Two were out of order&closed. The other'two, one for ladies and other for gents was so stinking and floor filled with water. One has to lift his/her garments to enter toilet. No tap was working. One lady started to vomit. When i brought this thing in knowledge of station superintendent. I requested him to see personaly the condition. Got a similar stinking reply. Go to modi. Only he can clean it.
                                    Horrible answer from the officer.

                                      Sir, i am working in kerala state electricity board limited as senior superintendent at electrical section chittari. I'm traveling to my work place from my home and back thrice every month.
                                      Yesterday i boarded maveli express from kanhangad to cherthala. At kannur, one tte, mr p meena, came and asked for ticket. I said i had online ticket. Then he asked me id proof. I shew him my e aadhar downloaded in my digi locker from the uidai website. He said it was not acceptable. Then i showed him the id received from my employer which has serial number and photo and signed by the chief engineer (Hrm) vaidyuthi bhavanam, thiruvananthapuram. He said it was not acceptable either and asked me to be ready with either passport or driving licence or epic etc and went to the other compartment. A little later he came back and asked me again the id. I began to show him the digital ids in my mobile saying that i had no other paper id except that i had shown him, to my surprise and shock, he screamed "you nonsense, i have not come to see your mobile" he poured a measure of invective upon me. He said people like me were travelling only to make disturbance to him. He went away. I saw my fellow passengers in the compartment started to see me as a fraud or impersonater. After a while, he came back and asked me rs 100 as fine for not having valid id and i said i had no reason to give him the fine since i hadn't done anything wrong. He again shouted at me, went away calling me names. I felt as if i were shrinking to nothingness. Others started to see me as a criminal. To regain my credibility, i began to explain them that this e aadhar was as valid as paper aadhar then a police officer, i remember his name as santhoshkumar, came and asked who was in s8 63. I said i was. He asked me whether i had id. I told him the entire story. He was a gentleman. He said he was not the authorised person to check the validity of it and he was directed to remove me from the train. Anyway, he offered to look into the matter and left. Others were still thinking that there was some severe crime on my part. After a long while, the police officer came and said un to me there was no problem and no need of any tension. He inquired to other senior ttes and they informed him both of my ids were valid.
                                      Sir, the mental and physical torture and agony i felt last night is inexplicable. I hadn't a blink of sleep. The entire way, i had been looked upon as a criminal and nobody spoke to me. I felt they were in discomfort due to my presence, all because of the ignorance and arrogance of that tte officer.
                                      Hence i most humbly request you to look into to the matter and take appropriate action against the officer so that no other passenger would have such a bitter and terrible experience in future as i had last night.

                                      I got a railway ticket from railway ticket counter 3A it was waiting.
                                      At the date of my journey 20.06.2017. TT did not allow me into ac coach. Rudly he told go to sleeper coach or home.
                                      I returned for home. 19046 bsb to st.
                                      I am student of ism dhanbad. I sent a parcel from Dhanbad to Vijayawada one month before. But the parcel not yet delivered by concerned persons even I informed to higher commercial authorities at Vijayawada junction.Even the authorities are reckless in responding to the problem.The parcel contains valuable items approximately worth of Rs. 60000/-.

                                        While traveling from mumbai to neemuch in train 22901, coach a1, seat no. 1 boarded from bandra terminus in mumbai on 24th june, 2017 at 23:25, around 6am on june 25, 2017, i realised that my black handbag is stolen [mostly around surat]. Bag consisted of original aadhar card, laminated copy of passport, power bank, mobile charger. Passenger name - mahesh agarwal. Apart from mine, there are more bags stolen of other passengers also in the night in a1.
