I am using smart card for railway ticket bookings, i am happy with it. But just wanted to report one issue which i have faced twice due to faulty atvm machine in malad east. I booked a ticket and money got deducted but no ticket was printed. Also the machine did not show any error. This is not acceptable as there is no way of getting the money back. There should be some option to reclaim the money as its a waste of time and money both due to the faulty machines.
Indian Railways customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
Sir, I got cancelled my ticket PNR No [protected] on 29/05/17. Refund type was electronic. But till date my money is not refunded. Please do the needful.

    Sir.
    I have boarded from nagpur station to ahmedabad in howrah ahmedabad exp. 12834.in 2nd ac. I noticed that the condition of coach is worst and the very strong bad smell observed in both side toiled, when i asked to coach attendent for cleaning schedule of toilet, then he told me that the cleaning is done just now, but we were not satisfied on. His answer after seeing current situation of toilet... We strongly disappointed by the coach condition and hygine... Its not worth for money that we paid for 2 tier ac..

      Happened to go 2katra station on25th instant. Toilets condition horrible. Two were out of order&closed. The other'two, one for ladies and other for gents was so stinking and floor filled with water. One has to lift his/her garments to enter toilet. No tap was working. One lady started to vomit. When i brought this thing in knowledge of station superintendent. I requested him to see personaly the condition. Got a similar stinking reply. Go to modi. Only he can clean it.
      Horrible answer from the officer.

        Sir, i am working in kerala state electricity board limited as senior superintendent at electrical section chittari. I'm traveling to my work place from my home and back thrice every month.
        Yesterday i boarded maveli express from kanhangad to cherthala. At kannur, one tte, mr p meena, came and asked for ticket. I said i had online ticket. Then he asked me id proof. I shew him my e aadhar downloaded in my digi locker from the uidai website. He said it was not acceptable. Then i showed him the id received from my employer which has serial number and photo and signed by the chief engineer (Hrm) vaidyuthi bhavanam, thiruvananthapuram. He said it was not acceptable either and asked me to be ready with either passport or driving licence or epic etc and went to the other compartment. A little later he came back and asked me again the id. I began to show him the digital ids in my mobile saying that i had no other paper id except that i had shown him, to my surprise and shock, he screamed "you nonsense, i have not come to see your mobile" he poured a measure of invective upon me. He said people like me were travelling only to make disturbance to him. He went away. I saw my fellow passengers in the compartment started to see me as a fraud or impersonater. After a while, he came back and asked me rs 100 as fine for not having valid id and i said i had no reason to give him the fine since i hadn't done anything wrong. He again shouted at me, went away calling me names. I felt as if i were shrinking to nothingness. Others started to see me as a criminal. To regain my credibility, i began to explain them that this e aadhar was as valid as paper aadhar then a police officer, i remember his name as santhoshkumar, came and asked who was in s8 63. I said i was. He asked me whether i had id. I told him the entire story. He was a gentleman. He said he was not the authorised person to check the validity of it and he was directed to remove me from the train. Anyway, he offered to look into the matter and left. Others were still thinking that there was some severe crime on my part. After a long while, the police officer came and said un to me there was no problem and no need of any tension. He inquired to other senior ttes and they informed him both of my ids were valid.
        Sir, the mental and physical torture and agony i felt last night is inexplicable. I hadn't a blink of sleep. The entire way, i had been looked upon as a criminal and nobody spoke to me. I felt they were in discomfort due to my presence, all because of the ignorance and arrogance of that tte officer.
        Hence i most humbly request you to look into to the matter and take appropriate action against the officer so that no other passenger would have such a bitter and terrible experience in future as i had last night.

        I got a railway ticket from railway ticket counter 3A it was waiting.
        At the date of my journey 20.06.2017. TT did not allow me into ac coach. Rudly he told go to sleeper coach or home.
        I returned for home. 19046 bsb to st.
        I am student of ism dhanbad. I sent a parcel from Dhanbad to Vijayawada one month before. But the parcel not yet delivered by concerned persons even I informed to higher commercial authorities at Vijayawada junction.Even the authorities are reckless in responding to the problem.The parcel contains valuable items approximately worth of Rs. 60000/-.

          While traveling from mumbai to neemuch in train 22901, coach a1, seat no. 1 boarded from bandra terminus in mumbai on 24th june, 2017 at 23:25, around 6am on june 25, 2017, i realised that my black handbag is stolen [mostly around surat]. Bag consisted of original aadhar card, laminated copy of passport, power bank, mobile charger. Passenger name - mahesh agarwal. Apart from mine, there are more bags stolen of other passengers also in the night in a1.
          Next station is ratlam... Kindly take immediate mecessary action. Kindly contact on mobile no. [protected] in case any further details are required. Please keep us informed of any developments. Thank you.

            I am traveling in 12346 down saraighat exp.
            My pnr no. Is [protected]
            In saraighat exp. Coach no. S8 too many passengers are traveliing without reservation but general ticket but its a gathering situation created in this coach and in reserved sit are blocked the unreserved person we did not travel satisfactory.
            So why you should claimed sl rate if you are did not ensure travel satisfied are not by reserved passengers if you don't take immediate action then we should complain in consumer form...

              It is kind request you to please take action immediately at digha station, west bengal as digha is very famous tourist place. Here we noticed that there is no separate waiting room for passengers and the passengers who has ac tickets are also applicable for paid launge. So it heartly requested please make separate waiting hall for ac and non ac passengers both. Hope you will hear our request.

                Hi, i'm travelling from kalayan to coimbatore in train no.11013, the coach no. S9, 55. Ttr not available in this coach we are unable to know our rac status, and i saw some persons taking general ticket and getting berth in s9 with some fine paid.
                Where rac peoples are not getting their berth. What should we do to get berth,? Or does the rac allotment system is designed like this?/
                I like to know the exact procedure to get berth while in rac.

                People with general ticket are occuping berthe while others in RAC are still waiting for TTR to come. Why is Indian Railway allowing such irrresponsible people to serve under them?

                  Rail neer over rate sale of rs 18 at modular catering stall platform no4 tirupathi station. Mrp is rs 15, kindly told him refund to me and take action immediatly for no more people cheat by him. He is cheated daily to many people. Also you can check another stall, they also sale @rs 18. I told him why rs 18 he was replied cool water.

                    This is about a coolie in balasore (Bls) on platform no2 who looted me with 700/- for just packing my bike to mathura in parcel office and no one raised voice for it. He also took away my whole petrol from my bike's tank and told me to complain after i raised my voice. Please help me sir he just took 700/- for packing total of 2140+700 was my expense in sending my bike from balasore to mathura.

                      Iam a frequent traveller by indian railway south central. I used to travel by duranto express number 22204, which is expected to reach visakhapatnam by 6.30am, and we are getting messages to mobiles, expected reaching by 6.30am, even the train is far away from visakhapatnam at that time 6.30am, it reached visakhapatnam at 7.30am on 08/06/17, and 7.10am on 22/06/17. So kindly donot send such useless messages.
                      And today duranto express 22203 has reached secunderabad station at 7.30 am on 23/06/17, i recieved a message at 6.00am it will reach at 6.15am, at that time train has not reached even bhuvanagiri, how can indian railways will send such messages. Kindly do not send such messages if you are not in time.

                          Just got another announcement saying train will delayed by next half an hours more.
                          What kind of service it is in which we are paying and not getting services in time and also train will going to be delayed more and more.

                          Are we doing anything to resolve these kind of problems or just sitting and watching all passengers suffering.

                              On 20/06/2017, builty no - 093450, i have booked a parcel (Bike) from indore junction (Indb) to bilaspur (Bsp), they charged rs 2000 for parcel and issued builty for rs 1450 only. When i asked why you are charging excess money they give me following brackup -

                              Fess for parcel is 1450+1% of value of bike+charges for loading and unloading totals 2000 (For 1% of parcel value they told me that they will adjust the value to keep it minimum so that they get margin for their loading and unloading) no value of bike is asked or taken by me

                              When i inquired the price at bilaspur railway parcel counter they said 1450 is actual price and you have been charged excess price
                              So there is 2 issues
                              1. They have taken excess price of 550
                              2. And issued builty for 1450 only and taken rs 2000 from me

                              So this malpractice is going on in parcel counter of indore railway station, not only me but there may be thousands of innocent customers are being fooled by railway officials

                              I am including image of builty in this complaint for more information

                                On 21.06.2017 i was on plat form no.5 to board train no.12861. The location of compartments like a-1, s-1, gen etc. Are not displayed. The passengers were running from one side to other to locate their compartments.

                                Normally people travelling in passenger trains carry less luggage as they travel for short distances and people travelling on long distance trains carry more luggage. It is noticed that passenger trains are taking to platform no.1 and express trains are taken platform 4 & 5 to which there is no escalator or lift.

                                What a wonderful service!!

                                  Train no. 54056 from old delhi to moradabad passenger... On time screen it flashes 9:40 departure time but it 10:45 on move after that it takes 4-5 hours to reach moradabad but doesn't till 20:00... So who is the responsible for all this... World's worst journey ever i had! So many people managed their time for different works and also for further rural journey but with this train its impossible.

                                    I am travelling by punjab mail, train number - 12137. There are so many people without reservation in reservation coach. Coach is looking like general coach. Even t. T. Is not doing anything. Railway has made so many strict policies but still their employees are not taking it seriously. This is creating trouble to the passengers. Please see the issue.

                                      This is on behalf of sangeeta sharma and amita sharma who were travelling from habibganj to yeswantpur on[protected]. The ticket pnr number was [protected]. The ticket was booked from habibganj and after a few days i received a call from indian railways stating that habibganj is not a stop and the boarding should be from bhopal.
                                      Sir, when my mother and aunt got up in the train, they were troubled by the staff who said that the boarding was from nagpur. They had tickets and photo proofs which the tte refused to take into consideration.
                                      The ladies were in their old age and hence they suffered a lot due to the negligence of the indian railways. I hereby demand a compensation for all the trouble they went through and an unconditional apology with all the issues resolved.
                                      It would be very kind if you could do so.
