I was trying to book a ticket today. I logged in first time before 10.00 AM successfully. But around 9:50 AM I logged out and tried to log in to the irctc. But I got a message that I cannot log in as my account got deactivated.

Just want to ask IRCTC the following.

1) May I know the reason for this ?
2) What mistake did I do can you tell me ? I have been using my account for last 5 years.

I want to give one suggestion to irct:

Please don't do this kind of activities and play the emotion of a common man without any reason.

Kindly activate my account immediately.

Hello Sir,

I have seen some corruption going on at railway Mumbai center window.It would be great if you verify and open them up in thru your established media channel.
They are taking extra charge from all passanger.8 rs. ticket 2rs. is never given back except passanger insist.

some time they ask for more money as well like for long journey train.It was costing 100 rs.asked to give 111/- rs.

i have contacted railway people however does not seem to be great response.

It would be great if you people can take up this activity and help to reduce corruption at govt. places.

hope your response i can see through your newspaper.

Railway — Railway

We common people are now fed upwith the railway timings. The number of trains have increased but there are limited number of platforms, which is causing late and delays.

out of 20 times I travel in railway 16 times train doesn't depart on time and all the 20 times it arrives late which creates lots of problem. Please if you want to increase number of trains than please increase number of trains.
Shramjivi Express 2391 will start from Rajgeer station from Bihar & it is always late in Patna which is around 50 km, so it is late on all station till new delhi. Same train when start from New Delhi to Rajgeer it always on time. It means there is no problem in weather it is the problem of operation.

    Hi,

    I booked the train tickets on 18th Jun 2013 for Barauni to Howrah.
    The ticket's PNR# is [protected] and TDR was filed on 23rd June 2013, as the train was running late for more than 9 hours.
    I called up IRCTC and they are saying IRCTC has no role in deciding the refund. On receipt of refund amount from the Railways, it is credited to the account of the customer.
    I need my money back soon as its already too late.

    Why there is no direct train From PUNE to SAHARSA for past 20 years?
    Pepole travelling from Pune/Mumbai to Saharsa & near by region so much difficulties in reaching their native place.For a journey which should take only 1.5 day, it takes almost 3 days to reach there. Its a sheer wastage of time & energy. Every railway minister does only for his/her state and neglect the important decisions, everytime they keep playing politics & politics. The Railway govt. must stop the politics and do the needful.

    Indian Railways — Money not returned

    I have been chasing with Indian Railways to get my refund of the journey which i have not made as train was late by more that 7 hours.
    Please refer the attached history.
    TDR was filled on 15the January 2010 but my money is still not refunded and now nobody is bothering to
    reply.
    Please help

    Dear Customer, Sorry for the inconvenience.Kindly note that your refund case of PNR No.[protected] has been forwarded to CCM/NR Railway on 20-Jan-2010 .We have already issued Reminders on 28-May-2010 to concerned railway to chase up the case.But despite reminders refund is yet to be received from the concerned railway.Now we have sent another reminder on 10-July-2010 with all the papers pertaining to your refund case to concerned railway to chase up the cases. As soon as refund, if any, received it will be credited to your card account.

    Indian Railway — Train not available

    I Subhamoy Banerjee buy a e-ticket PNR no [protected] (3AC) fm. Kharagpur to Puri by Kalingautkal Train. But that tn is not belonging at Kharagpur last a few months.
    I cant avail that train. Pl. arrange to return my money ( Rs/ 472).
    me too.have the same problem...IRCTC...very poor answer from IRCTC care...!!!

      I Am Purchase Ticket In lokyamanya Tilak terminus Dated 22.07.2013 Time 13.40 Train No 15017 Departure Date 29.07.2013 Train Departure Time Is 06.35. Pnr No is[protected] Ticket No 40713991. there Are 5 person name mention In This Ticket.
      Due To Some problem I m Not Traveled In The Same Date (29.07.2013). I m Cancelled The Ticket As Dated 29.07.2013 Time 09.15 The Reservation Cleark Says me this ticket can not be cancelled because of train is departure. but as per norms my ticket has to be cancelled 6 hours after departure.
      Sir Please Revert back me What I can Do. I want my Money After Deduction Government norms.

      Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Corporation — Amount of Rs. 5985.00 debited and ticket not booked

      I was charged Rs. 5985.00 for nothing. The IRCTC site gave me a
      message that there is a Communication Failure, while finalizing the reservation. Instead of alloting me an e-ticket they gave me a reference number (i.e.) [protected]. The message displayed was that, there was an error while booking the ticket and hence the money would be credited back to your account. This was done on March 19th 2008. My concern is that the money that they charged for NOTHING is not yet refunded.
      I hope IRCTC's online service is not for charging the customers without giving them what they opted for and MAKING money out of that.
      CITIZENS are PROUD of INDIAN RAILWAYS. This Kind of SERVICE is going to make us ASHAMED.

        I regularly book e tickets from I pad with my regd users name. KVRMurty. Some of the bookings failed in the last stage of booking and status shown is. Not booked. But when I verify my Refund status, the remark is. Settlement failed. Does that mean that I will not get back my money at all? Is Thera way out to claim the refund. There are many such instances, but it the first time I have noticed.

          sir,
          there is a growth of rush of general public with general tickets or no tickets on the reserved compartments of express trains specially on sleeper classes when the train passes through Bihar / Jharkhand regions. this does not only make the situation of reserved passengers uncomfortable also increases the chances of theft and any other unfair means on that trains or couches. which does not only endanger our private properties but also public properties. and the main thing is that no one is there to check them neither TTE nor the RPF / GRP personnel. on result of this they do whatever they want even they make the person stand who is having valid reserved ticket and occupy his seat or berth .
          sir the person with valid reserved ticket is paying full fare of the seat and reserve his/her seat for his / her convenience then why not railways is not looking after his / her convenience or comfort for which railways is taking extra money for reservation.
          sir please look into this matter. this is growing day by day . now they are entering in sleeper classes if this is not stopped they will start entering 3AC then 2AC classes also.

            SIR, MY WIFE SEEMA AGARWAL WAS TRAVELING IN TRAIN NO 13240 ON 23.05.2013 FROM MATHURA TO VARANASI ALONG WITH MY 3 CHILDREN AND ONE OF MY LADY RELATIVE THEIR PNR WAS[protected] &[protected] .THEY WERE TRAVELLING IN COACH NO B-2 THEIR SEAT NO.’S WERE 9,15,16,24,53. IN NIGHT AT ABOUT 11:30 TRAIN REACHED MATHURA JUNCTION . THERE T.T.E. MR.B.B. LAL WHOSE DOC NO. WAS 243 ALSO BOARDED . HE STARTED CHECKING THE TICKET AT 12:15. DURING WHICH HE MISBEHAVED WITH MY WIFE IN A VERY WORSE WAY.HE ALSO USED ABSURD WORDS & ABUSES THAT CAN'T BE QUOTED HERE. HE ASKED HIM TO VACANT MY DAUGHTER CONFIRM SEAT NO. 53 IN B-2 WITH WAS IN NAME OF MY DAUGHTER NAME SONIA AGARWAL. HE ALSO MISBEHAVED WITH MY CHILDREN & ATTENDANT, WHO WAS TRAVELING IN SLEEPER CLASS & HAS COME TO ADJUST HIS LUGGAGE IN COACH. SIR THE MOST SURPRISING PART WAS THAT T.T. MR.B.B. LAL SOLD OUT MY DAUGHTER SEAT NO. 53 TO SOMEONE OF VNS ,AFTER TAKING SOME AMOUNT FROM THE SAME.IT LOOKS HE WAS HEAVILY DRUNKS.THE WHOLE NIGHT THEY WERE DISTURBED & NOT ABLE TO SLEEP.             Indian Railway — corruption

            I LT COL ASHOK UKMAR RANGI had a valid ticket PNR NO.[protected] for travel by train no.2445 uttar sampark kranti pqwl/2 on 07 mar 10 to travel from ambala to udhampur. since as a govt servant i had to join my duties at udhampur on 08 mar10, ihad no option of cancelling my waitlisted 2 ticket as mentioned above. to board the train and get accomodation /birth on the train, i contacted TTE of the train whowas standing outside the coach alongwith another TTE( a sikh gentleman). he told me availability of the bith and endorsed A-1 31 on my ticket and told me to occupy the given birth. i entered the coach and found some body occupying that given birth no. 31. however the same tte came inside and allloted birth no. 6 in the SAME COACH. I OCCUPIED BIRTH NO. 6. AFTER SOME TIME BOTH TTE CAME TO MY BIRTH AND TTE WITH CHART ASKED ME SOME TIP AND I WAS SURPRISED AT HIS BEHAVIOUR AND RELUCTANTLY GAVE HIM RS 100/- WHICH HE TOOK AND KEPT IN HIS POCKET. PLEASE TAKE ACTION IN THIS REGARD TO AVOID HARASSMENT TO INDIAN RAILWAY TRAVELLER IN FUTURE.

            Indian Railway — Corruption

            Sir,
            This is to inform you that day by day the corruption in railway department is increasing and TT's are asking for extra pocket money for alloting seats. In kanpur Central there is one person in Current reservation counter Mr. B Goshwami who is so misbehaving peoples and using abuse words and never alloting any ticket to anyone. Only ignoring by saying excuses and alloting only those who are giving extra money. I have gone on 14/04/2010 to this person for current reservation to mumbai as one of my relative is expired and he had not given any seats either confirmed or waiting and instead of this he had alloted to another person by extra money. And along with this in the train also all the TT's are doing that the person who is giving extra highest money are getting seats and the waiting list and RAC ones are same. I kindly request you to take some action against this person immediately and also other TT's because now I am going to complaint in all the railway related government offices because now the corruption is to much in UP

            Hi i am ajay from thirunelveli .I am working as a software programmer in private company but i am very involved in social activities 10 days before when i was in my home town i herad one news i was very shocked .it is about the railway employee.His name is chinnappan and he is working as a points man at the station . But he is doing some immoral activities there however it will be consider as minor but which should also affect the public .that is solen of kerosene and oil regularly from the oil tanker which is staning in the railway station . Recently he was strucked by the police but he given d money and escape from the case .since long he is continuing this activity .If you see his property no employee will earn like that still his life end .I kindly request the people pls take a step to pervent the public things .because he is a public servant but his activity is like a thief .so pls take the the action against the culprit . and post your comand

            Indian Railway — Misbehaviour

            Respected Sir,

            This is Bhavesh Mali here for complaing for misbehaviour of railway staff named Deepak Logo at Adipur, Kutch, Gujarat - 370205 when I asked him for tickets from Adipur to Anand 3full tickets Rs.87/ticket = Rs.261/- + one half ticket for Rs.45/ticket = Rs.306/- (Rs.261/- + Rs. 45/- = Rs.306/-) for these all I gave him a note of rupees Five Hundred (Rs.500/-). He give me 90 rupees back & when I told him to return more Rs.104/- (Hundred Rupees) he told that he will give it after train gone. After the train gone I back to him & asked for hundred rupees. He repailed with so angry & he told me to wait for 5mintes. After that I was waited there for more 1 & 1/2 hours there. After that I again asked for my money then he started abusing me & refuesed to return money.

            I hearly request you to do something in my favour as early as possible.

              The Thivim Railway station in Bardez taluka of Goa has been an "A" category station on the Konkan Railway network for years. However, for some unknown reasons, there is just 1 night train to Mumbai with a scheduled halt at this station, that is the 10112 Konkan Kanya. On the entire Konkan Railway line, all "A" category stations have numerous halts. Besides, all night trains halt at "A" category stations. For instance, all night trains to Mumbai or for that matter almost all trains halt at the other "A"category stations like Udupi and Madgaon. However, for some illogical reasons, the Railway Board does not allocate halts at Thivim. The monsoon may been a slack season. However, post October, it is a normal trend to see long waiting lists for the 10112 Konkan Kanya at Thivim, being the only night train to Mumbai. Post October, it is a normal trend to see 500-600 passengers with reserved tickets entering compartments at this station. What kind of politics is this?? Why is a station earning handsome revenue left with just 1 night train. There are another 2 night trains to Mumbai, namely the 12134 MAJN-CSTM Sup Express and 12620 Matsyagandha Express. Now these 2 trains halt at all "A" category stations, except Thivim off course. Additionally, these trains halt at some lesser known "B" grade stations as well. If you check the list of train halts on the Konkan Railway, almost all "B" grade stations have more trains halting on their platforms than Thivim. I understand, on paper the Railway Board is supposed to allocate halts such that everyone benefits. Why is Thivim just left out here? It is a shame with such few halts at its platform, yet the station has a tag of "A". Politics is the biggest industry in the INdia and influences all aspects of life in India. The reason for few train halts at Thivim can be attributed to politics. It only means that our Goan politicians do not have any control over the railway activity in the state. I will not be surprised if within the next few weeks or months, the authorities downgrade Thivim to a "B" or "D" category station as this will ensure no one questions the very few halts at this station. To tell you a fact, I do not expect anything better in the weeks or months to come

              Indian Railways — Halting train held on non-platform line

              Dear sir(s),
              I am a regular commuter between Vejendla and Vijayawada stations. I use to travel by Trai No. 439 Tirupati - Guntur Passenger to reach Vejendla Railway Station. The train is scheduled to reach Vejendla at 02.36 a.m. It is scheduled to have a crossing with an non-halting express train at Vejendla Railway Station 5 days a week. Platform is located at mainline at this railway station. Looplines doesnot have platforms.

              Onduty station master at Vejendla Railway station frequently takes the passenger on nonplatform (loop) lines to give line clear to Express train on main line. The area between loop lines is filled with grass and bushes, where movement of harmful insects and snakes is routine. In addition, there are no lighting arrangements provided. I am facing lot of inconvenience in nights to get down there and to reach mainline (High-level) platform by crossing railway track as there is no foot over bridge.

              The issue was taken manytimes to the notice of Station Superindent. But, there is no response.

              As the railways have to provide minumum amenities to the passengers at railway stations, and they fail to do so, I would like to fail a case in consumer forum againt the Station Superindent/Vejendla and Section Controller/Guntur for the inconvenience caused to me.

              Indian Railway — deny halt for express trains

              The Kuttippuram unit of the Train Passengers Association requesting a stop for Kannur-Yeswanthpur express for a long time and the railway authorities announced a stop for the train on 2007 July. But till date the stop is not implemented. Our inquires reveled that the private bus operates try to deny the allotted stop. Becausemore than 20 bus operating from bangalore to kuttippuram and neighboring places.
              If the train halts at Kuttipuram, it will benefit those in Malappuram and Thrissur. Passengers from Bangalore to Guruvayur and season ticket holders commuting to Kozhikode and Kannur side will benefit. Now the Kuttippuram Railway station upgrade to B class and all other stations standing this category had a stop for this train. Considering ticket revenue Kuttippuram is thethe leading station between Shornoor and Calicut.

              Indian Railways — inadequate system

              My PNR Number is [protected] Train No. & Name: 12310/RJPB date of journey 9-Jan 2011. Train planned to be departed from new delhi 16:30 on 10th Jan 2011.

              It is a delay of 1 day.

              No body is informing passengers about status of train and it may get cancel as well.

              It is a loss of whole 1 day of my life.

              My passengers may have important and urgent plans for next days.

              What are the compensation plans for it?

              Why 4th largest railway network not taking responsibility for circumstances and covering remedy actions?

                Dear Sir/Madam

                I have booked a 3AC and a sleeper ticket for two person on 1-5-2013 in the train 12987. The date of journey was[protected]. The train was cancelled
                for that day. I have filed TDR for both of these tickets and my TDR for the sleeper ticket was approved.

                On the other hand TDR for the 3AC ticket has not been approved so far, its been 2 months now, I have filed the TDR on 03-May-2013.
                When I check the status on the irctc web site Refund under process and the refund date is not available. Following are the journey details again:

                Railways — TDR not approved

                I had my train on 8-1-2010 i.e. BHOPAL EXPRESS(2155). I had booked it for three people and amounts to Rs.896/- (was an e-ticket).
                But due to weather conditions,the train was running late on that day for more than two hours. And due to some urgency boarded another train.
                The next day only i filed a TDR complaint to refund my money back.And after five months i got a reply that -> "According to the records ,the passenger had travelled on tickets and the TDR has been regretted".

                NOW WHAT SHOULD I DO??? WE were in some other train and how can they say that.IF they want to chack they can check our names in GT EXPRESS by which we travelled on that day.

                  date[protected] my daughter with 3 kids was going to varanasi from nautanwa 18202 Durg nautanwa express. train is on 2 no. platform but there is no walk over (fly over) so we have to cross the train line and is very difficult for ladies to get over the tain.

                    I was travelling in Chennai mail yesterday night. in the sleep i heard slapping sound. i got up to saw the ttr slapping a boy (slapping his face so hard), who was sleeping on berth which was just above mine.
                    i felt very bad .the sight was so pathetic. i asked the shameless ttr "whats the matter" and "why you are hitting him" he replied "i will kill this boy" nothing else.! the boy might have traveled without ticket..nothing else he might have done as he was sleeping from the station itself. if at all, he is traveling with out a ticket..i don't think the ttr have the right to beat a boy like that. What are we supposed to do when something like wise happens in the future.I am just scared that this might happen to me or my brothers..so to be safe,,is there any NGOs that take care of these stuffs..if yes, pls give me their helpline..

                      I want to file a complaint against the Indian Railways,i very often travel in the Uttar Sampark Kranti, Train no. 15035, time- 16:00, A/c CC from Delhi (DLI) to Kashipur (KPV), Uttrakhand. This time however, when i travelled on the 27-06-13, C3 Coach, the train arrived late at the station, around 15:58, it departed from the Delhi Station at 16:20, which is twenty minutes later. Although the sweepers had good twenty minutes to mop and clean the coaches, no one appeared on the scene, all the passengers travelled in the dirty C3, where i was sitting as well, but i assume that the entire train was not even broomed. When i talked to the TTE, Mr. J. P. Yadav failed to provide me with an appropriate answer.
                      I really felt disappointed and so did my co-passengers.
                      Kindly register my complaint and do the needful.

                      Indian Railway — train coaches

                      sir,

                      # The train that runs from Jhansi to banda has to deattach some of the coaches in Mahoba.

                      # The coaches are send to Khajarao.

                      # This causes a great harm to the passengers.

                      # As some of the passengers are not the regular traveller and so they do not know about the de-attachment of the coaches.

                      # And when the train starts moving they come to that they are moving in the wrong direction.

                      # So in panic most of them try to get down from the moving train.

                      # This causes them a great harm.Some break their LEGS,HANDS,HEAD etc.

                      #And this happens every day.

                      So i request you to stop de-attachment of coaches from the train.

                      #coachs to Khajarao should be permanently attached to the engine covering the distance to KHAJARAO.

                      Personal — very dirty toilet in a/c coach

                      Dear Sir,
                      I travel on 16th October from haz: nizamudhin to kuttippuram (Kerala state) on a/c 3 tier. When I enter the train I complaint to the staff to arrange clean the toilette. They told me cleaning staffs are on the train they will come to clean at the next station. After few stations no one came to clean. And next the station I direct complaint to TTE he visit my coach and he angry to one the staff (he arrange pillow, blanket to passenger) the staff told him the toilette also cleaned. But TTE not satisfied his answer and he agree to me the next station in boppal should be cleaned. And I send message to the station master. But unfortunately up to the kuttippuram station no one come to clean. Then I write a complaint on your register book in guard room. Still I didn’t get any reply if the complaint any one read or hide?
                      I would like to know what action railway take against my request.

                      My name is kiran chugh. i was travelling last week in train no. 2288, Kochuveli express. this train run from Dehradun To trivandrum. its almost 3500 Km long journey.
                      I was quiet surprise that there was no pantry car in that whole train. because you always expect that there should be a pantry car. in such along journey train.

                      even if we want to drink a water. we had to wait 6 hours for the next station to come. there were kids, old people travelling in the train. & it was really a painful journey for all o[censored]s. there was only 1 Ac compratment in the whole train. & it was fully messy like anything. even the railway staffs who take care of people in AC compartment. was hungry & thirsty.

                      its my humble Request to you just add an pantry car compartment to this train ASAP.
                      we will be really thankful to you.Just imagine if you were travelling with your family members. & if you dont get water & food how you will feel.You will get the answer.

                      Hope when next time i travel i will get the pantry car in this train. dont ignore this suggestion. i have full faith on my railway jury menmber. Thanks And GOD bless you all.

                      What is the use of complaining. I had similar experience on Mewar Exp from Udaipur to Delhi. The TTE does not care and was busy giving away berths for cash at Udaipur station. The AC staff said it is not their department. Railway ministers fly business class and don't have to use the dirty toilets and so they don't care. No one cares. It is hopeless and there is no hope for railways or India. It will remain a dirty backward third world country unless we get honest politicians who care.

                          They were told that it will be sent in same day when I travel.

                          I had to travel to Jalandhar Cant same day and hence I checked with jalandhar cant parcel office bike not yet sent

                          i booked a parcel on 5th may 2008 (P-023671)at jolarpettai junction.parcel has to be delivered to visakhapatnam.

                            I had booked two general quota sleeper class etickets from my IRCTC account on[protected] from Visakhapatnam to Bangalore (SBC). The date of journey is[protected] with PNR number [protected] of train number 12510. The two tickets were wait listed and no seat or berth were allotted and no passenger traveled on that ticket. I booked the ticket on my Union Bank debit card account. The railway authorities at Visakhapatnam station told me that the ticket fare amount will be refunded to my debit card account. I checked for that refund till[protected] then filed a TDR for refund of ticket fare (Rs.920) on[protected]. They approved the TDR with reference number ekt[protected] and refunded one ticket fare only(Rs.460) on[protected]. Now what I have to do to get the remaining ticket fare? How can I approach the concerned authorities to get that fare?

                            There seems no option, once i did not travelled and asked for refund. But they responded that amount cannot be refunded as the passenger has been travelled. I tried lot and also sent them proofs that i did not travelled that day but all in vain.

                              Hi I have booked tatkal ticket from banalore to secunderabad(kachiguda)

                              I have given my driving license as proof whilebooking and when TTr asked i have shown the color laminated DL and TTR asked for original which i not usally carry in my wallet.

                              He demanded to original ID card....I had shown PANCARD,CREDIT CARD,LICENSE ,VOTERID, COMPANY ID out of which company ID and credit card are originals.

                              He did not accept any prrof and demanded to have original DL only....also he was rude towards passengers.

                                As an indian I requested the indian railway to give a smart card which is using to take ticket without queue but they didn't have it and instead of that appointing a staff to give ticket from that machine there by made similar queue as the other ticket counters. So i request you to take action against indian railway to not giving the smart card, which is to be given to, public. And one more thing that they made number of such machine which are not using also. To save our national wealth and trust in democracy i request you to take immediate action.

                                  I being a handicapped person was having my confirmed ticket from abu road station to bandra terminus of train no 19028 vivek express on 11/06/2013 with seat no 65-66 in couch no s3. On the day i reach station at 8.45am and the train was scheduled to arrive at 9.15 and which arrived at 9.20. There was indicator on platform no 1 with couch position of the train so i moved to the couch no s3 with my wife and children. Train which was about to come on platform no 1 came on plait form no 2 and there were no announcement before arrival of vivek express announcement was done after the train arrived which made it difficult for me to go back to stair case and go on plait form no 2 with my family and luggage and even there were no coli available at that time so i jump the rail line to board the train with my luggage i made my wife and children with 1 luggage to board the train and when i tried to board the train with other luggage the train started moving and moved around 25-30 meter from where it was standing and stopped after 25-30 meter because of the shout by me and my wife. Even in my whole journey the ticket collector didn't come to check the ticket which made it difficult to make a complain in the train. For this agony, mental trouma, physical harressment i keep railway department liable and want a claim of the said amount.

                                  Dear sir
                                  I am very sorry to write how rail tte do their duty. I was coming to lucknow on the night of 3.11.09& 4.11.09 by 4512 nauchandi express. I boarded at moradabad. My pnr no-[protected] coach s-5 birth no-63 date of journey 03.11.09. When i reached to my seat i found my seat was already occupied. I requested the person to vacate the seat so that i could sleep but the person was so arrogant and perhaps drunken misbehaved with me. I had to share my seat with him. I asked tte on duty to ask that person to vacate my seat. But tte on duty did not took any interest this made that person more arrogant he used bad words. Tte listened but did not do any thing. That person travelled on my seat upto bareilly. Where another person came to my seat and sat on my birth upto lucknow. Tte were only interested in making money from those persons who were suffering without reservation. Sir i request the concerned authority to do proper inquiry and take appropiate action. I suffer great mental trauma your action will give a soothing effect and believe that system is not rotten

                                    Dear Sir / Madam,

                                    It is very unfortunate to inform you that i got my Railway ticket booked in UDZ-ADI Express ( Train # 19943 ) in 2A.C Coach.This Train leaves from Udaipur to Ahmedabad every evening at 17:45 Hrs , but this journey of mine turned to be the most horrible , Pathetic and painful journey of my life . Since the Air Condition of the Coach was fully ineffective because of which not only me rather all the passengers of the coach suffered badly . In fact after 45 minutes of the journey ( at around 6:30 Pm ) I verbally complained to the T.C Mr.Suresh Joshi about this problem but he expressed that he is helpless in this issue and he suggested to contact Mr.S.B.Parmar the technical attendant of the coach , accordingly i and other passengers spoke to Mr.Parmar But we found that even he was of no help , he kept of fooling us OR may Be he was correct at his place , he said that since we are travelling on meter gauge line therefore the AC will Be effective only if the train gets a good speed and indicated that he will put on the A.C only after the train crosses Zawar Railway station , he also said that the A.C will be kept off from 9:15Pm to 10:15 Pm Because during this time the train crosses through an area where Railway track work is in progress for Broad Gauge , finally when i lost my patience to resist the pain which was becoming unbearable as i had to attend lot of meetings on 6th June at Ahmedabad for which i needed a good sleep on prior night. At last when situation got out of my control ( at 10:30 Pm ) i finally asked our Coach T.C Mr.Suresh Joshi ( who was sleeping in his compartment without any concern of his Coach passengers ) whether any berth is vacant in any of the sleeper coach , he indicated that berth # 8 must be vacant in S-2 , immediately i moved in S-2 and got berth # 44 as vacant berth , but even that place was not comfortable place for me but any how i spent my night in full sweating condition and with most disturbed sleep , next day in Ahmedabad my official meetings were not at all productive As i could not sleep throughout the night . Not only this I went to Ahmedabad Railway station on 6th June night and got a chance to meet Mr.Trivedi in Commercial department of Ahmedabad railway station , here Mr.Trivedi admitted that his boss Mr.Venugopal has already received a complaint today morning and they are going to take serious action against the concerned authorities , but i personally feel that this action will not cool me and will not fulfill my loss .Now i fully blame Indian Railways for this pathetic and painful night of my life and raise a question to them that why don't they abandon either this meter gauge train or A.C Coach of this train which will always be ineffective as long as this is meter gauge line and in this way lot of other passengers will keep suffering but Indian Railways will keep making money out of this , Second option which comes in my mind is that Railway should voluntarily inform the passengers ( at the time they book tickets for A.C Coach ) about the critical condition of A.C Coach .
                                    Now Since i have brought this Issue to the right department accordingly i am not only looking for refund rather a healthy compensation which will be a real justice not only to me rather to the entire passengers who travelled in A.C coach that night . I also request you to look at that written complaint which was interestingly lodged by some children ( aged around 12-15 yrs ) about the same issues and lot of other issues which nobody expects in A.C Coach and also those children have taken signatures of almost all the passengers who were travelling in this Coach and i am also one of them who has signed on that complaint letter. Once again i humbly request you to take strong action against Indian Railways and against their responsible authorities and also a heavy compensation should be paid in lieu of this severe pain suffered by me. For your records I am attaching my Railway ticket on which i have taken written explanation of Technical Attendant of our A.C Coach Mr.Shanti Bhai Parmar , Also i asked our TC Mr.Suresh Joshi to give it in written but he refused to do so , i think he was scared that he will lose his job.

                                    Indian Railways — no A C

                                    Dear Sir ,
                                    My parents and I were travelling by Vaigai Express from madurai to Chennai on 5 . 12 . 2009 by 3rd A C Sleeper. A short while after the train started , the A C gave way and the passengers had to spend the rest of the journey in the heat. It is very unfortunate that middle class citizens of this country who are paying through their noses for these services have to face such inefficiency and inconvenience. I hope the railways will look into such issues more seriously in the future.

                                      Indian Railways — Non receipt of luggage

                                      I have booked house hold goods from SSA station for ASN rly station on 23 Sep 10 as I am working in IAF and presently posted to 763 SU. Till date the luggage is not received at ASN and no body can say any where about of my luggage. With out house hold luggage my day to day life is measurable. Please do the needful and my humble request to Railway authority to look after this mater though its a negligible task for them but they should understand the problem as well as inconvenience of customers.

                                      Indian Railways — Non receipt of Motorcycle

                                      I have booked motorcycle CT 100 Registration no. UP 85 N4831 from mathura city railway station on 2/3/2011 to Ambala Cantt.against receipt D337646. According to officials at mathura they have loaded it in Jhelum express same day for Ambala cantt. So it has to reach Ambala (UMB) on 3/3/2011. I have visited ambala station 4 times from then and have received no satisfactory response from them as to where the bike is. I have to travel from chandigarh to ambala just to check whether they have traced the bike or not. neither they are giving any of their contact nos. Pl help to trace the bike
