Dear sir/Madam,
I. Randhir kumar booked a train ticket for 2 people on 16/12/2011 (PNR no:[protected] and Transaction id: [protected]) to journey from Haridwar to Patna on 25/01/2012. But, we could not travel because after chart preparation one ticket in RAC and another one is W/L -.1 So, both of passenger was not travelled Hence I lodged a TDR dated 25/01/2012 with the reference no ekt [protected] to the Indian Railways. The current TDR Status shows "forwarded to railway". The total no of days elapsed from filing date to today has been more than three months.
I would be highly obliged if you please look into the matter and take necessary steps so that I may receive my due amount as soon as possible.

Good luck with your refund. When I was in India, I lost mi tickets and I went thru hell in order to get a refund. Number one I needed all kinds of number codes listed on the ticket, the cart I was to traveling in, the train number, my destination and etc. etc. You only get your refund at the end of your journey, thats what happened in my case. I also had to scam the Bureau of Tourism because they were refusing to help me out on the original scam that cause me to lose my tickets in the first place, which was to direct me by a man in uniform to an outside tourist office so I could lose my, first class tickets and be sold probably to somebody on a waiting list. Once I showed my tickets to that person, he found out how many I ahd, what type, and which train. He contacted hi contact inside the train station, indicating "NO SHOWS" and voila, I was out in the cold - see you.

I have traveled on dated 18.06.2008 by train no 2654 from Chandigarh to New Delhi . my ticket was reserved from Chandigarh to Kota originally which was canceled by me at New Delhi railway station through TDR NO 814258 dated 18.06.2008 at 14: 30 hrs. because of route diversion of train due to Gurjar Riots. I have send an application for refund of difference Fare along with TDR through Registered POST on 09.07.2008.Even after 90 days when I did not get refund . I reapplied again through registered post on dated 07.10.2008 but still today i could not get the Refunds till date 21.11.2008.
Kindly try to help me to get Refund as soon as possible

I am really thankful to the authority who has replied to my complaint on the sub Non receipt of complaint book / clarification about increased fare and non providing of edible for a particular time in New Delhi- Guwahati rajdhani express 2456 .

So far I failed to receive any repy from the responsible persons managing the IRCTC and still as per information gathered from my colleagues the tren of cutting the items even lunch/ brekfast / non washing o[censored]sed cups / even not changing of the papers used in the serving trays have been continuing in the New Delhi-Guwahati rajdhani and GHY to New Delhi rajdhani and no remedial actions are being taken . No check on the serving staff.

Now it seems Hon'ble Railway Minister and other responsible authorities who are issuing the instructions are being either thrown by the next authorities or no body want to touch grass-root since passing the bills of cartering of rajdhani is being done very carefully in a planned manners.
Hwever I shall be grateful if some surprise check in done when the Rajdhani Express touching from New Jalpaiguri to Guwahait and from Kanpur to New Delhi to see the truthfullness of the services.
I shall be thankful if the reply is given to me.

My PNR No. is [protected]. Train was late more than 18 hours on journey date so passenger not travelled. I file TDR on 29.12.2010 and railway refunded Rs. 593/- on 04.01.2011.

Because train late more than 3 hours so a full amount of Rs. 1189/- should be refunded by railway instead of Rs. 593/-

I write several times to [protected]@irctc.co.in and [protected]@irctc.co.in but nothing changed yet.
My name is Lenoy Paul ([protected]) and I need your help in raising a concern with IRCTC I had booked a ticket to travel on 27Aug 10 through IRCTC website from Mumbai to Nagpur Train 2101/JNANESWARI DELX Transaction ID: [protected] PNR No : [protected] total fare Total Fare : Rs 1931.00 however this train was delayed by 7.5 hrs had my travel plans were cancelled.I raised a TDR on 28th Aug and i was give a refund of Rs 965 as per railway rules if your train is delayed for more than 3 hrs a passanger is entittled for complete refund .I have been following up with them however they have not given me a suitable respones request you to please help me with this.

I have booked 3 birth from Lucknow to Ahmedabad in 3 AC wide PNR No-[protected] out of which only 2 birth was confirm & 1 was in wait list, Keeping in view that waitlisted ticket booked through IRCTC was automatically cancelled I have purchased 1 waitlist ticket from Railway counter on which my third passenger was traveled.
When I file the TDR for reimbursement of IRCTC ticket my request is rejected by IRCTC. I just request that I have pay ticket price twice for same journey so that one ticket should be cancelled & that price should reimburse to me.

I want to say that when TTE is suppose to give TDR certificate to passenger in such cases then why he is not given to me even I show him both the ticket for same passenger.
Kindly took the matter since passenger (consumer) is suffering in above case.

    Dear Sir,

    I would like to say that on 15th April I purchsed physical handicapp ticket No: 87264538 dt. 15/04/12 from jaipur to Jodhpur in Indore Intercity express & waited for the train to come. The train was 15 minutes from its arriving time at jaipur station of 14.45. Now according to the railways the physical handicap coach should be in the front as well at the back of the train near gaurd coach. But on that day only a single coach was there & that too in the front. We & some of the physical handicap friends went to the front & when we reached the coach I was astonished to see that maximum GRP staff & railways staff carrying their card of NWREU in their pockets & captured the physical handicap coach. When we went to them & asked them to give the seat to the physical handicap persons they refused saying that why should they give the seat to the physical handicap peoples.

    Now when we got down & complained the GRP ASI Mr. MS Meena about this he started shouting on us & using abusive language He told us to go & speak with the station master it is none of my business. I just wanted to know that why does the railway higher authorities say that they are giving good facilites to the senior citizens, physical handicaps & the patients. Why the railways higher authorities not looking to these....? Why are they seeing all this when they are knowing the facts...? Why does anybody senior go & see these coaches at the time of the arrival of the trains.

    Even I was surprised that a GRP ASI Mr. MS Meena replying in such a manner & speaking with us like we are the culprits. I say that the facility in rajasthan is worst then the other states. Jodhpur station is not having seperate ticket counter for senior citizens, womens & physical handicap as in other states there are seperate counters.

    I feel very bad when the railway employees treat us like this. It is really shameful for me that I travel with the worlds second largest railway & the Railways ministry implies the law but dont see to the laws to be executed. As all the laws relating to railways are broken by the railway employees themselves & Maximum laws are manipulated by the GRP.

    I would like the railway authorities to check this time by time otherwise nothing could happen.

    Indian Railways — no ramp for physically handicapped

    dear sir,
    I am from BELLARY, like to draw attention of concerned authorities that there is a RAMP and steps for the foot over bridge to get down at plat form No. 3, but sorry to say that there is NO RAMP either at plat form No. 1 or 2 to get into the said bridge, if some one (physically handicapped person like me) uses wheel chair he has to climb the steps along with wheelchair to approach plat form No. 3. I have to travels to bangalore for my regular treatment and has to use plat form No. 3 to catch HAMPI Exp. Hence I humbly request the concerned authorities to kindly look into the matter and arrange to help the disabled persons. Hope to get the facility at the earliest.
    THERE IS NO SEPARATE TICKET COUNTER FUNCTIONING FOR PHYSICALLY DISABLED PERSONS IN SALEM RAILWAY DIVISION OFFICE
    plz provide such a railway subhyatra card to phyically handicapped passenger by which they can make their travelling easily
    its sad to see the response of railway authorities...and it is well expected from them also...the definition of the physically challenged and normal person vary...so it may vary from situation to situation...going to higher and complaining about that will not help...in india it is always better to solve the issue at site...best is to compromised with situation...

      I had booked two railway tickets online using bank of baroda debit card. Afterwards i cancelled the tickets and indian railways online reservation system says the money has been refunded to my account. Still my account does not show change in balance and money has not yet been refunded to me. When contacted Indian railways customer care they told me to inquire to my bank. Bank people are too doing nothing. The fact is money has not been refunded yet eventhough the status may be showing it has been refunded.

        Dear Sir,

        We are regular passanger of Titwala to Cst Up local, which is departure on 7.24 am from titwala.

        We found very Unclean local in alternate day manner, today 17/04/2012, we found somebody Vomitted at Window so we informed the Station manager regarding this and requested to arrange a Sweeper who clean the place.

        After contineous followup, Station Manager Mr Vikas Sharma said, due to lack of Sweeper we can not arrange the help for cleaning the place. Sweeper will attend the Train at kalyan but till Kurla, nobody attend the Train we are travel along with Dirt.

        What is the duty timing of Sweeper ?

        Second thing, we go to Platform No 2, Tea stall and request for water for cleaning a place ourselves. The counter person didn't listened the whole thing and shout, Toh kya main saff karu ? we said, we are not telling you to clean the place. Please provide a Water for clean the place but he do the misbehave so we has a argument in between us.


        So is this type of Service we get from Railway in future also.

        Is that Station manager answer we get in future regarding our problem.

          I booked my bike (Hero honda Splender Plus, Model 2009, UK-08N 1347) from Roorkee (Haridwar Distt) to Faridkot vide Receipt No G644297 dt 31 Mar 2012. Till date my Bike is not reach in the destination station. I went regularly to rly stn to whereabout of my bike. They said to insure from the previous station, I also went there, but they also said that to check in the previous stn of that. I also call to the Roorkee Stn and they told that they sent my bike from that station on train No 24887 HWBME link express and its not their duty that the bike will reached to the destination station or not. Every one tell that its not their duty , then whose duty is it????. i m really mentally and physically harassed, what to do.. Please tell me the whereabout of my bike and send it to the Faridkot as soon as possible. An early action is requested please.

              On the Farrukhabad Railway station 3 children of age of 10 to 13 year,are doing pick-pocketing for a long time.

              near-about 3 month ago my brother had lost their pocket with some money by those boys when he was returning from Relation(at that time he request to those boys to return some important documents from purse), and just some time he was returning from Mainpuri, he show that those boys are trying to picking pocket in row of ticket window he catch him & remembering last case ,Same those boys call 1 railway police man (named like "khan") and 2 civil man.Railway Police catch my brother as a pick-pocketor and beaten on platform.and leaving him after taken 1000/ rs in 24hr .and signed by my family as he is pick-pocketor under pressur.

                I booked a ticket for my wife from Udham Singh Nagar to Delhi in train KGM ANVT AC EXP / train no.- 14011 in 3AC for date- 06/04/2012, with PNR No.- [protected]. It was confirm reservation in B6 Coach with seat no 13. When train arrived on station there was no B6 coach in it. on being asked TTE said B6 coach is not attached hence your ticket is cancelled, you'll receive amount for it in your bank account( i haven't got it till date). and now you are without ticket and if want to travel pay for ticket and as well as penalty for being without ticket.
                She was required to catch a flight that day from delhi.
                My wife was on station with my 8 months old daughter in her hands and luggage, helpless......even after having a confirm ticket.
                This was an absolute neglect of duty on part of station master as well as railways as whole. They should reply to this complain and to all those passengers of B6 coach that day.

                  I have booked my Honda activa (KL04 U 8770) from Alleppey to Sambalpur through Alleppey-Dhanbad Express, The parcel
                  receipt number is 135675.
                  I travelled on the same train on the very same day and i have personnaly loaded my vehicle from Alleppey station.
                  But the vehicle is not delivered at Sambalpur Railway Station.
                  The concerned railways authorities are not responding to my request, I don't have any idea fro the further procedure.

                    i had waiting ticket of pbr howra exp dt. 22-01-12 train no,22905 pnr [protected] . i file the tdr at 11.30am on dt 23.1.12 but still i am not getting the refund.
                    i have booked the tickets online through www.irctc.co.in on 6th
                    october 2008 from madgaon to chandigarh vide pnr no. [protected] from my
                    sbi bank debit card.
                    subsequently i got it cancelled and received the message from irctc on
                    25th dec 08 that ticket has been cancelled and refund shall appear in my
                    account from which i had made payment.
                    however it did not happen, i regularly mailed them but to no avail.
                    then on 22nd jan 09 they send me the mail stating that they have refunded
                    the amount, but still i didn''t got any.
                    then on 28th jan09 i sent them my account statement in pdf form as
                    requested by them to verify.
                    again despite many reminders i have not got the refund as on date.

                    i booked a ticket on irctc website on 21st may 2012. The ticket between jammu to jaipur on train no.12414 dated 20/07/2012. The payment mode is internet banking.Same time amount deduct my account but ticket was not booked.normally after 3 days of booking the amount is refund but still i donot get my ticket amount.please take a necessay decision in this matter.

At the time of booking the PNR status was waiting 60, 61 62. On the journey date out of three, two tickets got confirmed while one was not confirmed.Because of these only two passengers travelled on the ticket.For one ticket i have not received the Refund.I have contacted dept. many times but there is no response.They say to get a certificate which the train TTE issues if passenger does not travel, but TTE has not issued any certificate to me and i was not aware about the process.                       This is Samrat Roy, S/O Lt Tusher Kanti Roy. My father was posted at Barakar as a Cabin Master. He was retired on 30/06/2009 from Barakar. His pension was started on 30/07/2009 (No – ASN/29511/CSD/2284). Unfortunately my father was expired on 01/11/2010 by an accident. After that my mother (Smt Tapati Roy) was withdrawing the pension and her pension was started as per normal norms. The amount she withdrawing is Rs 7670.00. the entire system was normal til 30/12/2011. But after that suddenly the amount is reduced to Rs 6162.00, which is confusing me and my mother both. As per our knowledge the amount will reduce after 1/7/2016 (written on Pension Book).

                      Currently myself is staying at Kolkata with my family (mother, wife& daughter) and I am involved with a IT Organization. It somehow troublesome for me and my mother to go Asansol frequently for the same. Could you please assist us to solve the issue.

                        Failed transaction money not been refunded to my account by irctc.co.in - website of indian railways and this has happened not once but many a times over. Situation is that neither a ticket is booked (and the money is deducted from the account ) nor the money is refunded. only 3 times it was refunded and rest 15 times it was not refunded. Do not cheat customers. Do return their hard earned money. and this is not my voice only a similar voices are raised are of my friends and other customers also. Ask irctc to return our money

                        My ticket was not booked but money has been debited from my account. The debited money for the failed transaction is not refunded till date. please look into the issue.

                        The reference number given by SBI for the failed transaction is: IG58765124
                        you must contact [protected]@gmail.com ...they only approach irctc and get back your money...for security transaction you are asked to provide some details ...give that details you will get your money back...i suffer this same issue before two months ...do this you will get your money back

                          Recent past I received undue calls and messages which is absurd from your Airtel Service provider Customer No. [protected] while verifying that number I am quite surprised that the Personal Information were not available. I found that without having proper identity how the service has been provided to that particular customer. Please clarify the same and make me from such type of non-sense calls or messages from that number.

                          If this compliant was not been sorted out by the authority the same will be taken to further action.

                          I hope that the authority will do the needful at the earliest.

                              Dear sir,

                              i have complaint against mr. pancholi who is working with indian rail on surat station. he is a cheted all the passanger, who wants reservation, for their journey, when passanger asked for the ticket he is directly said that give this much money but actual ticket price is less than the money he wants, every customer he collect 4rs as black money, which is law says.


                              in my case i asked for the baroda ticket but he gives me bombay ticket, when i want to cancelled this ticket he is said me that 20rs is decudted from this ticke i said its ok but, as he is claver he is not cancelled my ticket and just issued me baroda tiket and cut twenty rupees.

                              for me time is running out so i have not take any action at that time but i urje to take action against them and please transfer him at any small station when he is not cheated any customer of indian rail.

                              sir, i m gurjit singh from jalandhar(punjab) i wsweras filed a complaint of Excess fair on 20 Sep. 2011 but yet i have not get any answer, u have take 30 days for solved a complains , now how much time u'ii take
                              i get my amesty renewed on 3rd december and i forgot it in my home as it was in my pocket and on 4th december it got checked and ask her to check it by tomorrow morning but she reused and she collected unusual charges i.e rs 255. for such a short distance from ghazbad to chader nagar.

                              Today I had gone to Krishnarajapuram, Bangalore to send my female member to chennai by 12610 and had not bought the platform ticket. The Ticket Examiner had fined me for Rs.300/- vide challan no.772911 dated[protected] . When I explained my fault he took my PAN card and my mobile phone. Told him that he can not pull my phone. When I paid the fine he issued slip EXCESS FARE TICKET . Is it the challan for not taking platform ticket.

                                  We travelled by the First Class in the Chennai Express from Trichur to Chennai Central on the night of the 27th March. We had a horrible and miserable experience of travelling in the company of cockroaches and rats. We were six adults and a one year old baby. The old compartment was vibrating and the noise was terrible. At about four in the morning one of the rats bit the finger of my wife. My wife and I are senior citizens. Fortunately the baby escaped being bitten by the rats. We complained to the TTE and he promised to send in his feedback report. After reaching Chennai I took my wife to the local hospital where she was given an injection and asked to report back if there were symptoms of rat poisoning.
                                  Surely the Indian railways can maintain its train well and fumigate all compartments and provide good service to its customers after the increase in the railway budget. Safety and comfort should be the motto of the railways.

                                    I am a general passenger of Indian Railways and travel daily from Ranaghat to Howrah. While traveling in the above mentioned route I found money laundering by some middleman attached to G.R.P. staff from those male passengers, by mistake who travel in the vender compartment of ladies special train. Without any authentic receipt they collect Rs. 400/- cash from each (at Naihati Station). From a train they collect minimum Rs. 5000/- to 7000/-. Which is a big thing of worry, and the collection never funded to Railways. I feel you would consider the matter seriously.
                                    In the circumstances, I beg you to take some action to prevent this money laundering, and ensure Railways collection.

                                      On 30th of March 2012, I bought 3 tickets from Srirangapatnam to Bangalore in a Passenger Train for me, my wife and daughter at 13:45 Hrs for the 14:45 Train. Since the temperature was very hot and no drinking water facility and the toilet in the station, I asked the Station Master to give the complaint book for which he refused to give on the grounds that everything is available. Although none of the above facilities were available he argued with us without giving the complaint book till the arrival of the train. Since me and my wife were senior citizens and I wish this should not happen to any other people, I want this complaint should be taken more seriously.

                                        It is very annoying thing that, today Western railway has not attached AC Chair car bogie 7 instead they have attached second sleeper class bogie. I am travelling by 12936 UP Surat- Bandra Terminus Express from Surat to Borivali.

                                        It clearly shows that in India, Railway minister don't have any value, then normal people will have what value ????

                                        Travellers book in AC because, after long office hours, they also expect some peaceful journey & comfort. It is summer season & temperature is almost touching to 40 Deg C. But it seems,Government doesn't care for Dinesh Trivedi & Railway doesn;t care for normal travellers.

                                        Reason given is they don't have AC coach. But if it is so, they would have done altrernae arrangement in advance & should have informed it to travellers also. It is really disgusting...Can Mukul Roy will answer on this???? or Mamta Banerjee will answer this?

                                        All the people are saying, we want comfort.

                                        My seat is C1- 68.
