Sir,

I appreciate that your website can be labelled as one of the best.
But my problem is about train time Schedules that the Railway is keeping.
I belong to a far off desert area in Rajasthan, so many persons used to travel to Delhi from Churu and surrounding villages to Delhi. But now the Railways has changed the times of these trains.
And to my surprise and pain three trains are running on Delhi Bikaner route and all of these are having a ruthless time-table.

In desert region villages are located far off and transport facility are less and that also nonexistent in night hours, then how the residents of these areas are to reach the Railway stations.

Local people are having great troubles in reaching the trains, many a times in dire emergency they need to hire a personal vehicles to catch the trains and the cost to reach the station is almost five times the Bikaner to Delhi train fair.

My humble request to the Policy Makers is that please take a considerate thought on the problems of this neglected region and to limit their agony.

They are already having enough suffering, kindly do not add more to that!

MY REQUEST TO THE CONCERNED AUTHORITIES IS THAT AT LEAST ONE TRAIN SHOULD RUN DAILY ON THIS ROUTE LIKE
Train no-22471(DEE INTERCITY) AND SHOULD COVER WHOLE STRETCH IN DAY LIGHT TIME ONLY TO BE O[censored]SE.

Kindly take efforts to forward this request to the concerned Policy Makers.

    Dear sir,
    I have booked an e-ticket from chittor(CTO) to vijayawada(BZA) in Seshadri Express(PNR No.[protected]) for 20th October for four passengers but the ticket turned out to be partially confirmed with only one passenger's berth confirmed.So,I filed a TDR on 1st Nov for refund of the other three tickets.On 18th Jan I received a mail that the refund is cancelled without specifying any reason why it is so.I have tried to contact them with all the customer care numbers provided in irctc.co.in but none of them were responding.
    The ticket is partially confirmed sir and i'm entitled for full refund of the waitlisted tickets because those passengers have not even traveled in that train.So,kindly take an action in this regard sir.The ticket id assigned by irctc to my request is [IRCTC #191944].

      Dear Concerned Authorities,
      This is to express extreme disappointment regaring the Reserve Against Cancellation ticketing method. I had to travel from Mumbai to Ahmedabad on back to back days in sleeper class, both overnight journeys. Both my tickets (to and fro) were into the RAC status. Both the times I got allocated to the lower side-berth where two people have to share a single 2.5 foot wide berth. i could not sleep for two straight nights inspite of my tickets being confirmed.
      How is it possible for 2 people to even sleep during such long journeys? I am now suffering from multiple back and neck pains and sleeplessness and fatigue. Why do I get a lower side-berth allocated which is twin-shared while others get a full berth in sleeper class - when I am paying the same amount of money for the ticket as others are. Just because I am a male and 26 years, doesn't mean I can get the least priority ticket.
      Now that I got a half-seat and discomfort for myself in both side journeys, will I even get a refund of my money spent on the ticket? Who is now responsible for the harassment faced by a consumer like me? Can this system of allocating two ticket holders the lower side-berth in trains change?? This is extremely unfair. All consumers are not treated fairly nor equally. Please do something for the betterment of the people!!

        This complaint is regarding the pathetic organisation of Danapur Railway Division in Bihar. I live in Mumbai and whenever i travel to Bihar, I find that the train always get late or neglected after it crosses Mugalsarai. I frequently travel by LTT Bhagalpur Superfast train. Why is that train after entering Bihar gets delayed for reasons unknown. It is not an isolated incident but a regular one. Is the Danapur Division the worst division in the country when it comes to maintaining punctuality of the train. It seems that this division is not functioning or there is lack of discipline in the staff or they are not interested in their duties. Since most of the train are long distance ones, the railway forgets the convenience of the passengers as they are bound to get further delayed in reaching their destination. Also, all the trains entering Bihar becomes a local train. The train runs in a sense that there is nobody to take responsibility of the things prevailing there. I sincerely hope the Railway Board takes an appropriate step in this direction, or i will be file a PIL in court in due course. If the train is more than 3 hours in reaching destination, the Railways should give a refund on the ticket, which should be announced in the coming railway budget 2012, or atleast they should make an effort to improve punctuality of the trains entering Bihar.

            I RESERVED ONLINE 1A FROM JABALPUR TO NIZAMUDDIN(DELHI) PNR NO.[protected] TRAIN NO. 112411 GONDWANA EXPRES ON 19th. JAN.2012. BOARDING POINT JBP. I WAS WELL BEFORE TIME AND CHECKED THE LIST THAT WAS PASTED JUST THEN ON THE TRAIN(COACH) AND GENERAL QUOTA 1 TO 8 HAD NO NAMES. THE TICKET INSPECTOR ON CHECKING MY PRINT OUT SAYS THAT I HAVE NO SEAT AND THE TRAIN IS FULL! THE RESERVATION WAS DONE TWO MONTHS IN ADVANCE AND PAID FOR. I WAS TOLD NOT TO BOARD THE TRAIN BY TTI.

            I HEAR THAT A MINISTER WAS TRAVELLING AND HAS OCCUPIED ALL THE 8 BERTHS! WHAT KIND OF JUSTICE AND ADMINISTRATION IS THI? WILL MY MONEY BE REFUNDED ONLINE TO MY BANKERS? I HAD TO FLY NEXT DAY BU KING FISHER FLIGHT AND WILL I BE RE-IMBURSED/ DO I HAVE A COURSE TO SEW THE RAILWAYS?

            PLEASE ADVISE.

              Sir,
              I have started my Journey from Bhubaneswar in Rajdhani Express (No.22823) PNR [protected] on 21st Nov 2011 but the train was delayed by more than 24 Hrs due to fog and I have booked other tickets accordingly to reach Haridwar in 12055 train on 22.11.2011 PNR [protected] as the train got delayed I booked tatkal tickets twice through online in train 12205 (Ndls DDN AC Exp) PNR [protected] and another ticket costing 2100/- (PNR .....) in same day i.e. 22.11.2011 for the train depart at 11:30 am (NDLS). as train is too late I could not caught the train.
              I asked for refund and the answer was as it is in tatkal no refund for you.
              Please suggest how to get my money back.
              This is not my fault why I'll loose it ?

                Sir,
                I am A.H.Vasavada. Mrs.P.A.Vasavada and Mr.G.M.Vasavada, we all senior citizens were travelling together in same tatkal ticket on 19/1/2012. Following are the details of journey:-
                Date of Journey- 19/1/2012
                Station- Vadodara to Borivali (Mumbai)
                PNR No.- [protected]
                Train No.- 19116
                Train Name- Bhuj BDTS Express
                Status of ticket- Confirmed S12/ 0009, 0010, 0012.
                Ticket checker Shree Parmar during checking considered us passengers without ticket and charged us Rs.14,440 vid. Receipt No. M 0584169 dated 19/1/2012.
                I showed my driving license to ticket checker to Shree Kapadia and Shree Parmar as proof of Id card referred in the ticket. The driving license valid throughout India bearing no GJ10/[protected] is duly attested by Executive Magistrate Jamnagar. The Government accepts such attested documents because they equivalent to original and takes care in the eventuality of loss of the driving license. Therefore I cannot be fined by the ticket checker.
                I a senior citizen was caused harassment by the ticket checker Shree Parmar who was not wearingidentity card explicitly visible to passenger. The contention to ticket checker that passenger failed to produce Id is not correct. I also showed my voter card no Gj/03/025/180010. Mrs.P.A.Vasavada voter card and Shree G.M.Vasavada showed pancard.
                On the money receipt it is mentioned that passenger failed to produce original Id card. In this connection Shree Parmar to also mention on the receipt that driving license duly attested by the competent authority is shown but Shree Parmar refused to mention the proof which I had shown. This was necessary so that on the record it is clear that identity card duly attested was shown because by merely stating that passenger failed to show Id card is half-truth and unjust to the senior citizens travelling by tatkal ticket.
                As a public servant the ticket checkers have to respect senior citizens and should not cause pain and strain and harassment by asking senior citizen to pay money immediately. They could wait for the passengers to get down at destination.
                I now request a) Refund of extra ticket charge Rs.14,440
                b) Instructions to ticket checkers to be human, respectful and practical to senior citizens.

                Indian Railways has been working on TATKAL category of reservation that is pathetic,
                they try to make it fool to the public, as everybody know about the site runing same, this is avilable only for the broker on time. there were excuse for overloading from there that is wrong..............
                I want to know the mecanish to rectify the same...............
                IRCTC site is on hold at 8 AM onwards same will be avilable after 9 AM
                Sir,
                I hope to get a fast reply on this issue..

                  I have been a regular traveller on Mumbai Ahmedabad line for the last several years. But in the last year whenever i have travelled I have faced with rats menace in the A/C compartments. Today morning I returned from Ahmedabad in Gujarat Mail fro Ahmedabad in bogey No. B 6 and during the travel my handbag was eaten up from below by rats thus eating the contents and damaging the bags. Before a month I had travelled by Duranto Express from Ahmedabad to Mumbai that time as well the rats had eaten up the bags. I hope this matter is treated with utmost seriously and get something done about this type of menace. Passengers and their belonging safety should not be compromised. the compartments should be cleaned and fumigated thoroughly after every journey so that this type of menaces should be eliminated. Some days back it was reported that 1 A/C compartment of of a train was infected by bugs and passengers had to face lot of harrasment.I hope the authorities take this matter seriously and do something about this urgently.

                    Bad experince form central railways and the department form TDR section for not reposneding for last 7 months..Tickets was booked for mangalore to mumbai and the train was cancel due to the blockage of mud slide .....

                    after filing the TDR for refund amount they told it will take 90 Days.. now almost 7 months going on still they not refunded the amount and under is trail mail is there ...

                      I had booked e-ticket to bangalore from malkhed and due to telagana strike the train was diverted and did not come to our station and as per railway
                      rules i filed TDR and i was suppose to get the full amount i.e 400/-Rs but i received only 119/-Rs.No reason was mentioned.

                        This is to report a problem faced by many passengers on a regular bases, travelling by Indian Railways. On 15th Jan 2012, we were travelling from New Delhi to Indore by second class sleeper. On journey, there were some 5-6 men who had only one reserved ticket. They were openly drinking alchohol and making nuisance, passing comments on female passengers, touching young girls etc. Upon looking this one men objected to their behaviour, but he was beaten up by those 5-6 men. there was no TC available that time and in the morning when he arrived, we told him about the whole incident but he ignored all.

                        In one more such incident, i was travelling with my family to vaishno devi(in winters), we had our aunt with us, who is a cancer patient. One of the female travellers, kept the door of the coach open and when we requested her to close the gate, she refused by saying that her station will come in 30 mins. we again requested her the same, but to our utter surprise one army men came to us and started abusing and theatened to beat us. he openly supported that girl and there was no support from any indian railway staff.

                        SHAME OF INDIAN RAILWAYS AND INDIAN ARMY MEN(ONLY THOSE WHO USE THEIR POWER TO ABUSE INNOCENT CITIZENS, REST WE SALUTE) !!!! SUCH PRACTICES ONLY PREVENT THE INNOCENT INDIAN YOUTH IN STAYING BACK IN OUR OWN COUNTRY.

                        CRIME IS JUST IN OUR COUNTRY AND MORE AND MORE WOMEN ARE GETTING RAPED AND ABUSED EVERYDAY. THERE IS NO LAW AND ORDER. NO STRICT PUNISHMENTS. NO FASTER TRIALS IN OUR SO CALLED COURTS OF JUSTICE. HOW FAR CAN WE GO IN SUCH A WAY. THERE R ONLY EXCUSES , EXCUSES AND EXCUSES BY THE BLOODY POLITICIANS. ALSO APART FROM POLITICIANS, MOST OF OUR COMMON MAN IS ALSO TO BE BLAMED FOR THE IRRESPONSIBLE BEHAVIOUR LIKE ABOVE.
                        this is such a non-sense from indian railways, that has to be improved by atleast someone. is there anyone from indian railways hearing ????

                          Sir,

                          I want to raise a complaint against the ticket checker in train Bangalore Rajdhani.
                          I was having a confirmed tatkaal ticket from H Nizamuddin to Bangalore for 8th Jan 2012. I boarded the train from Bhopal and with some reasons I was not able to get my boarding station changed before getting into it.

                          This conductor started harassing me for not getting changed the boarding station to Bhopal and ask me to get down from train and told your ticket will be considered cancelled.
                          I requested him to consider my case as a female travelling alone and Bhopal was just the third station for train and also my seat was not allocated to anyone else till the moment.

                          He behaved very rudely and told me either you pay 4000 cash or get down from train.

                          I was not having much cash and I already paid 2400 while booking ticket.

                          He kept harassing me till Nagpur even when all passengers in coach asked him to consider my case as my seat was empty and it would not be safe for a woman to get down alone at some intermediate station. He didn't listened to anyone and when Nagpur came asked workers, to throw out my luggage. Finally I have to get down at Nagpur.
                          I was alone and I faced lot of difficulties to reach Bangalore from Nagpur.

                          Even after paying 2400 Rupees for a ticket which was confirmed and with seat available, I was made to get down from train.

                          I request you to take some strict action against this behavior of the conductor and help me in getting my money refund back. My PNR number for the ticket was [protected].

                            Due to illegal encroachment common people life becoming in danger day by day front of bandra railway station east towards bandra terminus road we can't walk, at illegal cloth market now days the shop owners dwelling 40 feet high structure without railway or BMC permission no breath taking place while you walk through as its a cloth market no fire precaution if once fire take place no one can exit and because of this so many innocent family will suffer, this jurisdiction under railway but RPF enjoying taking openly bribe and neglect innocent people around ,after some time the encroach er will demand there illegal structure.
                            kindly take necessary action as soon as possible if your not with that RPF staff or part of bribe

                              Sir,
                              It will be highly appreciable if the stopage of Pune Patna & Patna Pune Express is allowed at Danapur Station Under East Central Railway. As the Danapur station is also a Divisional Railway Manager office and a suburb of Patna ,it will reduce the passengers load on patna and also save the valuable time and inconvinience of passengers.As so many Trains Terminate and start from patna Stoppage of many more trains at danapur will ease the congestion at Patna Railway Junction

                                The IRCTC website www.irctc.co.in is very bad and annoying in many ways. The UI and the options it provides are good, but the response time and the number of times it logs-off the user automatically are horrible. Forget about Tatkal tickets, it takes a lot time and patience to book even 1 single ticket. It will be a great achievement if one can book tickets in this site successfully without being directed to error page. Below are the list of some common issues

                                1) Automatically log off's even before time out for some strange reason. Sometimes pressing the login button is re-directing to "session expire" screen
                                2) Not responsive at all and takes loads of time to load even a single page
                                3) Takes Hours and hours to display availability and logs off automatically after waiting for so much of time
                                4) Never can book Tatkal tickets
                                5) Transactions never happen properly. Money will be deducted from the bank/card, but the ticket will not be successful...

                                These are just the basic ones. I am not sure why it is so difficult to build a web site, a Public transportation site by government, that serves lots of common man of India. Why can't our government recruit/outsource the development to some better company?

                                It is seriously a very very bad experience to book tickets via IRCTC and our government can really do a better job. Else all the money will go to private agents...Please consider common man's pain and provide better services

                                  I am a regular passanger of Gour express travelling to and fro each week from Balurghat to Sealdah station since last 5 years.Things were Ok a year ago when running of the train was punctual.But about a year ago, Smt Mamata Banerjee introduced a new passanger train From Balurghat to NJP Station.Things turned worse since then.The same coaches are being used for both the trains.Hence the Balurghat Malda Passanger which carries the reserved coaches of Gour Express from Balurghat to get them attached with The Gour Express at Malda cannot start at it scheduled time that is 5.05pm since the coaches are with the NJP-Balurghat passanger
                                  which is regularly late to arrive at Balurghat by 2-3 hrs.So once the later arrives and the coaches are again fitted with Balurghat Malda Passenger it is usually 7.30-8.00pm and passengers of Gour Express have no way but to remain stranded at Balurghat station.Their plight is not over yet.When Balurghat Malda Passanger arrives at Malda station running 2-3 hrs late,Gour Express which is supposed to carry the reserved coaches from Balurghat is found already left Malda.Now the coaches are either attatched to some other sealdah bound Train like Padatik Express/Uttarbanga Express/Hate Bazare Express etc whose route may not coincide with the route of Gour Express.Passengers who are supposed to visit Naihati ,Bandel or Bidhannagar stations often have no way but to get down at other stations and reach their destinations by Local trains.This has been a regular affair now and the authorities seem to have turned a blind eye to our plight.I hope this complaint will be addressed by Railway Authorities as soon as possible.                                     I have come across this kind of charge second time in last two months when the contractor/attendant at Bandra Terminus, Bandra ( outside upcountry station) has charged me Rs.20/- for car parking, for less than 30 minutes, while his parking ticket does not show any charges (Intently left blank) for upto 2 hours and shown more than 2 hours - Rs.20, which he shows and charges.
                                    I told the attendant that this is wrong, then he said that he is uneducated and he has been asked to charge by his owner the same from all cars. First time it happened two months ago, when I told him, and he gave the same reply. This time, again he charged the same thing and told same reply to my driver.
                                    It is a clear fraud. I have his ticket as proof and must be taken up by Western Railway as the contractor is fleecing the public in hundreds of numbers everyday and minting money.
                                    Clear rates of parkings should be put up on the Board visible to all car owners.

                                      I have one irctc a/c . in that i took one e ticket on[protected] from VIJAYAWADA TO KOTTAYAM, for six members journy date[protected], my a/c name is SRAJABABU , ID is SPRB , on that day after taking this ticket isaw a mistake before logout the a/c,i took this ticket anothers irctc a/c name also like my name SRAJABABU ,from VIZAK,i dont know how i entered in to his a/c.
                                      on that day[protected] i tried three times to take this ticket in the prosses two times i lost the money,one time i got the ticket . after four days the lost money is added to our sbi debit card
                                      so please cancil the ticket pnr no[protected],date[protected], i use sbi atm no[protected], card holder name yarragogu kesava.

                                        I would like to bring your attention to the harassment done to the Handicapped People when they go to buy a ticket from the counter producing their Concession Certificate.
                                        Shouldnt there be a separate counter for the handicapped? If atall it is there, there is nobody to attend and assist the handicapped. They have to stand in the same queue as others to get their tickets done which is inhumane on your part.
                                        The people sitting at the counter always have a problem making concessional tickets either have a problem with the stamp, it should be A ROUND STAMP or THE STAMP IS NOT CLEAR ENOUGH or THE NAME OF THE DOCTOR IS NOT LEGIBLE, etc. They always have a reason to avoid making such concessional tickets. I would like to mention one such place where they always have a problem with the Certificate whereas we have been getting concession from other counters in the city. This is the RAILWAY BOOKING COUNTER near ELGIN ROAD. They seem to have a problem every time.
                                        Why dont you train your people enough in this matter so that they understand the value of other's time and stop being negligent towards them.
                                        It would be nice if you could make the Concessional Certificates ONLINE and issue a Handicapped Card which could be verified by the authority when they are travelling. This Handicapped Card could be of the size of a PAN Card which is convenient to be carried than the normal A4/Legal size papers.
                                        It is an earnest request to you to look into this matter and find a more convenient way so that the Handicapped People are saved from running around sometimes to the Government Hospitals and sometimes to the Railway Booking Offices for no reason. Hope you will look into this matter urgently and make India a better place to live in for the disabled.

                                        I Sanjay Horo (27) son of Naiman horo (50) Residing at J-67 Shyamali colony PO. Doranda Ranchi-2 Jharkhand,
                                        1.On date 14/12/2012 at 18:47 I have taken Reservation ticket from jasidih railway station for the journey of jasidih to hatia on date 15/12/2012 train no.18621, my PNR no.[protected].
                                        2.On date 15/12/2012 at 20:50 I have boarded train from jasidih railway station as my ticket is confirm and showing confirm seat at S-3, seat no. 65, 66.
                                        3.In S-3, seat no. 65, 66 But two person are already seated there then I check there ticket and PNR no.[protected] and [protected] show same seat confirm to them.
                                        4.Then I spoke to TTE, Mr. D.K singh and G.Toppo who were on duty they check in there Chart list and they told me that tour ticket has reservation from jasidih to hatia but boarding from ranchi to hatia, so you are not entitle on this seat neither you allowed to travail in this ticket.
                                        5.Therefore I had correctly filled the ticket reservation application form.
                                        6.Therefore I had to travelled whole journey standing and inconviance, as I am post polio Orthopedically Handicapped person from right leg therefore I suffered 8 hour journey with very difficulties like physically and mentally harassment because train was over crowded due to heavy crowded passenger as next day Bank exams and SSC exams where in Ranchi. Due to this heavy crowd not got place to seat.
                                        7.As my father was travelling with me my father is also patation of “Pulmonary Embolish” one year ago he operated in CMC hospital vellore Doctor Advice him not to stand continuously for 2-3 hour.
                                        8.Therefore kindly consider my case as serious issue and take an action against it as per railways rules.
