Dear Sir,Just today I hv booked railway ticket online from pure to vadodara at 8.00 am 24.11.2012 train no. 16532 Garib NawaZ Exp.. today is 120 day advance day i.e.26.07.2012 . opening day of booking for 24.07.2011. I log in at sharp 8.00 for booking and booking also start from 8.00.when I book I found 80 seat waiting.how it is possible to full the reservation in 1 Minute.I feel something is wrong going in reservation system.pls look into the matter

    I was travelling from Mumbai to ahmedabd dated :24/07/2012 by Bandra - Bhavnagar express train Train No:12971 My PNR NO: [protected], S 11, Berth 9, Ticket was booked by my daughter at Ahmedabad- in Tatkal quata. This journey was very very urgent, I was having my Driving licence- My PAN card, My Bank I Card also, at the time of booking my daughter had given the details regarding my Driving licence which was unfortunately TRUE COPY, during the Visit of Mr. TTE at 11.30 pm I had shown my Driving Licence & at the same time I have shown my other original Bank I card / Pan Card also, but Mr. TTE having his own obstinacy & didn't allow me to travel peacefully & charged Rs.- 480/- I requested him many times to have a look on my other original Identity proof, but Mr. TTE wanted only & only my original Driving Licence & not even ready to see and check other proofs. I think that Mr. TTE's intention was force me to go by other way. Please

      22nd July 2012 , I was travelling by famous Rockfort express from chennai to trichy. booked my ticket in 2 AC sleeper. when i entered the compartment to my surprise the AC duct was of full of dirt and dust settled . I was in upper berth , the top ceiling of the compartment were with dirts and dust. fortunately I noticed & changed my direction of my sleeping direction otherwise I would have got allergy. when I shown to TTR and attender there was no response or action. I feel there is no cleaning happening inside the train which needs to be done and checked before loading the passenger. let the railway dept take action such that it makes the passenger comfort on the amount paid. please cancel the train in case if it not upto the standard.

      Indian Railways — Dirty & Unhygienic Railway AC compartment

      I was travelling along with my wife by AZAD HIND EXPRESS AC-3TIER coach from Howrah to Pune with Tatkal Ticket PNR No [protected] coach no B-1, Berth nos 3 & 5. The train started from Howrah on 22nd August 2009 and Reached Pune on 24th August 2009.
      This is to inform you that we found lots of cockcroaches and rats in the compartment. Due to the same, we could not properly sleep on our berths and could not take food also in the compartment.
      The TT & Other attendants did not pay heed to our complaints and did not even produce the complaint book also.
      I would like to have compensation for this horrible restless journey and refund of my travel cost from Indian Railways.
      I would also like to request Ms. Mamata Banerjee, Hon'ble Railway Minister to cover herself in a BORKHA and book a ticket in the same train in AC 3 tier coach in the name of M Banerjee without disclosing her identity and observe the situation. She can also observe the behaviour of the ticket checkers collecting additional money for the empty berths and allowing more than the seating capacity of the coaches.

        I had booked ticket irtc's Ticketing service through inter net on 19 Jul 2012 for the train MANGALA- LAKSHADEEP EXPRESS( Train No.12618 ) for traveling on 20 Jul 2012 vide PNR NO. [protected] shedule at 20.30 Hrs.( Transactin ID: [protected]) The train was delyed for 10.00 Hrs due the train accident at Nasik-Bombay 19 Jul 2012 . Soon after hearing delay of train by 10.00 Hrs i have cancelled the ticket. I have paid Rs. 282/- through my Debet Card of Bank of India vide No [protected] ( A/C NO.[protected]) .
        Kindly refund the ticket at the earliest

          Dear consumer relation officer,
          I am residing in Kerala and i have been in Chennai(TAMIL NADU) for past 4 years.Today when my brother who is in Chennai was sending my Two wheeler bike via RAILWAY PARCEL. And he had done the packing and things himself. The officers inside parcel office are not allowing to en train the bike now. They are behaving very rude and angry with my brother as they didn't receive any bribe. Like they are asking for 950 as per parceling charge and now they are asking for another 1500RS as bribe. with out paying that, they are not allowing to send the bike. Please do the needful from your side.
          I can come to any court and show you the people disturbing the poor Citizens like this. These kind of people should be brought to justice. It is Ramzan and still they are behaving rude and disturbing the fasting person to the maximum. Is this the way an office should behave or treat a customer? Please do take actions.

            With due respect I would like to draw your kind attention to the fact that I am a daily commuter of railways and travel from Burdwan to Durgapur daily. Every day I board 53062 down Hatia to Burdwan passenger train from Durgapur. The train is scheduled to arrive at Durgapur at 7.50 P.M.

            But unfortunately due to some circumstances every day the train comes delayed for 20-40 minutes. This has become a generic issue now and delayed arrival has now become a common practice.

            Sir, as you know that 13318 down Black diamond express departs Durgapur at 06.21 P.M and after that we have no choice but to catch 53062 down. There is no train other that this passenger to reach Burdwan.

            Earnestly requesting you to look into this matter and help us to take benefit of railway services to its full.

              I want to register a complaint regarding people preoccupying seats in train.

              The trains which are meant to go from Virar to Churchgate; when arrives at Virar Station all the seats are preoccupied by people who are already seated at Nallasopara and down side stations. So the people who board at Virar station do not get a seat as all the seats are preoccupied.

              So, I would like to request you to look into the matter and do the needful as soon as possible.

Maximum passengers are without ticket and some passengers are travel in first class with general pass or without ticket. so i m request to you please take any action.

                  i am a villager of rajchandrapur(near ticket counter). it is in the SEALDAH-DANKUNI zone.. the ticket master of rajchandrapur ticket counter ILLEGALLY CREATING A CYCLE STRAND INSIDE THE TICKET COUNTER ROOM AND OUTSIDE OF IT. as my house is beside the ticket counter it creating very problen for me and other local persons as he places all the cycle in front of our house also... when we request him to replace the cycle he uses slang language. he demanded that he has got a TENDER OF CREATING THE CYCLE STRAND.. the name of the ticket master id PARITOSH ROY. i want to know that if he really got a tender or not?? if you inform me i will be thankful.

                    I Gurmeet kaur w/o Sukhjinder singh, I just want to pay your attention on the railway services. I was travel on 3/7/12 station INDORE to AMBALA CANT by train no. 19326, Indore Amritsar express with two small children below 7 year in AC 2tier (A1 coach). Seat no 37 RAC and 38 is confirmed, so I was slept on seat no 37 nd my two children was selpt on seat no 38(upper) but during this period around 2:30 am at night TT was came to me and said that plz you can move to seat no 29 that is your confirmed seat but earlier he was allotted me seat no 37 so i can manage myself and my laudge on seat no 37 , but I refused to go there bcoz 29 seat is far from seat no 38, and my two small children was already slept there, and TT gave my seat no 29 to another RAC person, but around 5:30 am in a morning another lady passenger came to me and said to plz get up on this seat bcoz this seat is allotted me, plz you can move to your seat but this 29 seat is already given to another person, so that time I am so confused what can I do on that time, in that situation I gave my seat to that lady (38 seat). And I was manage myself with my two children in one seat, but I had to pay for two seat charges, but still I manage myself only on one seat, so this case I was sufferd a lot at mid night. And when I was got up around 7:30 am in a morning at station RAJA KI MANDI I was socked, my lady purse is not in my place in other words it was stolen by theft. So many usefull things which I bring with me in purse is given below:
                    Cash amount around 8000/-, my nokia mobile,my pan card,votar card, I card, 2 ATM card jwellery and so many use full things. That time I don’t have any single penny even not in mobile phone in my hand and imagine how come I sufferd in this journey
                    With my two small children, no one can helpme out in this problem. And a long time when I reached at ambala station around 5:30pm in evening I registered my
                    FIR to railway police on 4/7/12. Now today date is 14/7/12 but still they don’t get any revert of my this complain, due to this mail I request to pay more attention on railway services specially in AC coaches, and those passengers who can travel with there small children, and plz allotted the seats near there parents, through this mail I want to get back my whole cash amount and other things which I was lost due to this incident.This is not the issue of refund amount but major issue is that we are not satisfied with that kind of services which given by railway so that the women and children are not safe in train journey, Hope so you can do resolve my this complain asap.
                    Iam very thankful to you if you can do resolve my this issue.

                      i have the worst experiense travelling on Rajdhani exp. this time.
                      let me tell you the food quality that are served on the rajdhani exp. are worst now-a-days.
                      this time i found a FLY in my chicken cury. when i showed this to the pantry boy who was serving the food said by mistake this might happen. he even didnt cared to change the food, so i didnt have food that time.

                      the food that are mentioned on the menu are not served most of then are missing.
                      the quantity of the Rice ands DAL that are provided on the rajdhani are not proper tp mark.

                      the toilets are not clean it look like you are travelling on a normal express train.

                      the most important thing that surprise me from INDIAN RAILWAY was WAITING LIST PASSENGERS WERE Travelling on the trail. it was difficult for a confirm ticket person to find a place to keep his luggage.
                      i complained this to the ticket collector , this was a golden chance for him to collect money from then which he did and let then go.

                      **** we pay such a huge amount of money and travel in such a luxurious trains and what we get
                      nothing just waste of money.
                      i have seen this thing specially on the northeast.

                        I am shocked to receive such reply from your end. Just to inform you and tell the back ground to this. I was orignally booked by AC 2 tier from Visakhapatnam to Vijaywada on VSKP SNSI SPL ( Train 08567) on 10/5/2012. However, to our surprise the coach was replaced with 3 tier ac. There are surely , many more who had travelled like me. I am sure, i am eligible for refund for difference fare between 2nd AC and 3rd AC, in all circumstances , that too for a family of 4 persons.

                        Your reasoning seems to totally unjustified and not sure of your letter to me. JUST TO INFORM , I HAVE RECEIPT FROM RAILWAYS ISSUED BY TRAIN TTE ON THE PARTICULAR TRAIN BY RECEIPT NO:086260 , DATED:10/5/2000 ( COACH ALLOTED INLIEU OF 2ND AC WAS) 3 AC , 58, 59, 60, 62 BERTHS. Intially , was asked to take refund from vijayawada, however vijayawada station refused saying this is e-ticket adn need to file TDR and would not refund money. There is no provision thru your website to give this receipt. I still have the copy of teh same and can present it for your ready reference.

                        So , i request you to refund without any further delay on this subject. I wish to see demonstration of things through action at the earliest.

                          I booked my bajaj pulser 150 on 19/06/2012 at 4 pm i have given all reg. fees to them, they commit me 3 days for bike delivery at akola it was booked from kalyan to akola.bike no, MH30 U 3767, till date no body is giving response to my calls and akola office is also not showing interest in this they are asking to visit kalyan office for details.
                          i have refuse their money demand thats why its happens to me. i am realy very frustrated due to this ,.....please help me help me..............they are very pathetic employee of railway.....very bad.....please help me

                            today, 02 July 2012 i reserved a seat for Mathura jn. to DURG jn in samta Exp. train no - 12808 for 03 July 2012 ( Tatkal seva) at ballabgarh (Faridabad) reservation centre.

                            i was filled mathura to durg in form( you can check it in form), but clerk make reservation H. Nizamuddin to durg which is PNR N.[protected]waiting no- 16), It was totally mistake of clerk. he charge me RS 20 for cancellation..

                            after that i get same reservation, same train PNR No. [protected], waiting No- 22, i was in line for morning 5 AM, please punish him, for this my mentally harassment. and help me.

                              I have booked my bike to parcel office kalyan on 19/06/2012 to akola station i did all formalities like documentation and fees, that officer commit me that you will get it after 3 days, and he asked for extra money but i refuse his demand and paid only govt fees, but still i have not received yet. my name is Pavan Deshmukh from akola the receipt no is C700390.

                                I have done my reservation of NDLS RNC GRATH EXPRESS (12878) of
                                4th JULY from the Ranchi station Window ticket counter. Right now I
                                am in Panipat and I have to cancel this

                                NDLS RNC G RATH window ticket from the Panipat station which I have
                                booked from Ranchi window ticket counter. Is it possible to cancel the
                                ticket issued by the Ranchi Window ticket counter in Panipat .
                                Please provide me the details along with the cost of cancellation.

                                You can cancel any ticket booked across any counter throughout the country.
                                Exception : Tatkal tkt cannot be cancelled anywhere. Once booked its for all.

                                  I am writing this mail with great regret .As I got a very raw deal from one TTE of eastern railways which I find utter

                                  humiliating .Kindly bear with me & go through the mail & have a reality check .On 14th June ,12 morning I intend to

                                  travel from jamshedpur to kolkata through steel express (12814) . As reservation was not available I took a general

                                  ticket on morning 5.34 am .But incidentally am unable to board on Steel express which departed Tata nagar on scheduled

                                  departure time of 06.15 am .Actually I was feeling sick for past few days & that is why going to kolkata for medical

                                  consultation as kolkata is my home town & my parents live there .Right after boarding Steel express I felt dizziness

                                  so decided to seat on the platform premises & let go the Steel Express .I was was sitting there for almost two hours

                                  some onlookers offered me water & help .After feeling better I boarded on Gitanjali Express (12859) but on sleeper

                                  compartment .I was willing to pay the balance fair but have not find any TTE in vicinity .Now after Chakulia station

                                  a group of TTE boarded on that compartment & asked me for ticket .After seen my general ticket they said I have to

                                  pay fine & they charged Rs.314 but unfortunately that time I was carrying only Rs.295 .Which they almost snatched from

                                  my hand .They forcefully taken my wallet & started searching for money .When I protested One of the TTE named Mr.M R

                                  Rao (Employee Id[protected]literally abused me & use filthy language against me in Hindi (M***** C***) in front of the

                                  all commuters .Was he has the right to behave like that??? After that I have to accompany them till they got another case

                                  like me & after few compartment they got one person who don't have the express ticket .In same way they taken Rs.250 from

                                  him & issued an accumulated receipt of Rs.314 for both o[censored]s & hand over it to me & told both o[censored]s to shift to general

                                  compartment immediately .Trust me sir it was a horrendous experience .I was drained physically as well mentally after got

                                  these kind of treatment which was totally unwarranted .

                                  Kindly look into the matter & do the needful to mend the behavior of this kinda employee as its really counts .I send this

                                  mail as an eye opener .

                                  Indian Railways — misbehave by TTE

                                  I was travelling on 16/12/08 by train no. 5609 in ac 2 tier from Katihar to Muzaffarpur, seat no. 37.
                                  TTE had misbehaved with me when Bihpur station was passing by due to seat problem, he shauted very badly and tried to hit me. Being a railway official...he must has some manners...
                                  I request to railway official to take necessary action against him.

                                  I had been to Orissa on the 13th of December and returned back to Kolkata on the 21st of December and am forced to write you this letter for the situation that we faced.

                                  This is my fifth trip to Orissa and I have never faced a situation like this before and am quite appalled at the lack of customer service and friendliness of the railway police and TT.

                                  We were traveling in a group of four all of whom are women. Two of them were senior citizens, one of 18 years and myself 34 years. Our return ticker for the 21st were RAC at the time of booking and on approaching station on the 21st we visited the Collectors office to get the confirmation of our Coach and seat numbers. The Collector wrote on the ticket providing the coach number as SE II and seat numbers as 7, 8, 15 and 16.

                                  The train Jagannath Express was late and came to the platform at around 11.05 pm. We ran helter and skelter but could not find the coach SE II written on any of the coaches nor did the computer signs which glows the coach number reflected any coach number adjacent to the train. I asked one of the Railway police to guide us and he was in a hurry to brush me off and said that SE is II is probably S 2 and I might as well get going in that coach. Traveling with elders who cant move as swiftly as us we had no other option to board a coach. Fellow traveler helped us to board with our elderly aunts and offered his seat to my aunts while I left to search for the T.T. I found him and if I am not wrong his name is Mr. S.C. Mishra. The T.T. told me that he cannot exactly say where the extra coach is and I might as well go searching for the extra bogy in descending order. I told him that if I cant reach the specified bogy if the door is closed can he help us in getting on the right coach? To which he replied that we can do so in the next stop but refused any assistance even after telling him that we have two elderly people with us. Thankfully another fellow passenger helped us to locate our seat. He too told us that he was equally puzzled to locate his seat as nobody could help him.

                                  My point is that people employed by railway and stationed at the railway stations should be friendly and helpful. That is integral to traveling and gives a huge impetus to travelers. I have an immense liking to wards Puri and would again come next year but as a lover of Puri it is my humble suggestion that please impress on the people who are related to tourism, that it should be customer friendly. I hope that I or any fellow passengers do not face what we faced.

                                  Railways — tte misbehavior

                                  I was traveling from kolkata to sambalpur trian no. 8005 dated 16th feb 2009.
                                  my reservation was confirmed from wl 1. I reached the station a bit late but any how i was able to catch the train. I was in sk2 and asked the TTE about my status .. That told me that I am not carrying the list very rudely. How I managed to come to my place I now. I asked him for the complaint book but he denied.I think he was drunk ... any how i managed to get a seat and slept. morning i realised that no one had bothered to come to check the ticket.. there type of anti social elements should be kicked out of the job.

                                  Indian Railways — Misbehavior by TTE

                                  Complaint about the misbehavior of TTE - Mr. N.Devasundaram, Deputy CTA, Erode

                                  I am a doctor practicing in Kochi. I had to travel by the Nagore Express from Ernakulam Jn. to Ottapalam on 29th. May 2010 for an emergency purpose. Since it was an emergency, I could not book my berth in advance. However, on suggestion from the Railway enquiry, I bought a regular ticket to Ottapalam and decided to try my luck of getting a berth with the TTE. I boarded the S2 coach and sat beside the Police constable who was the security in charge in the train. The constable reassured me that there were berths available and that I need not board the general unreserved coach. The train soon left the station and started moving at high speeds.

                                  The TTE Mr. N. Devasundaram reported for his routine check whereupon I requested him to allot me a berth, if possible. He said it was not possible at all and that I should try my luck in the AC coach. He also added that I should leave the coach immediately. I walked up to the AC coach only to be told by the TTE there that there was no berth available in the AC coach too. I walked back and requested the TTE Mr. Devasundaram to somehow allot me a seat till Ottapalam. He retorted very rudely and asked me to go out of the compartment. I walked ahead and sat in one of the vacant seats in the S2 coach, waiting to alight when the train stopped next, to go to the unreserved compartment, as there is no connection of the rest of the compartments with the unreserved coaches. This was when the TTE approached me again. He was very rude. He asked me to go out of the coach. I asked him how I could get out of the coach when the train was moving. He did not have the patience to listen to me, but told me that I should not be seen next time he comes that way. I walked along the aisle and stayed close to the door to alight and get into the unreserved compartment when the train stops at the next station. Soon afterwards, the TTE came up again with a shower of abuses. He threatened to impose a fine on me... I asked him to fine me immediately. I produced my ticket and told him that I'm a person who obeys laws of the land that I was only happy to pay a fine as I had erred by entering a reserved coach without a reservation. He fined me. Now, I requested him to be a little more polite with passengers... he started abusing me... I asked him his name and designation when he flew up in a big rage and continued hurling abuses... and that he is willing to fight a case upto the Supreme court if I'm to face him legally. He asked me to get out of the apartment immediately. I told him that I'll take this case of misbehavior with the concerned authorities... I got out of the compartment at the next station and continued my journey in the unreserved compartment.

                                  As a patriotic Indian, I feel depressed when I think of such arrogant public servants... It is a disgrace for the country as well as the organization to have such people on rolls... they should be taken to task and reprimanded for their improper behavior. I fervently hope some authority in the Indian Railway sees this posting and takes appropriate steps against this extremely arrogant railway employee Mr. N. Devasundaram, Deputy CTA, Erode.

                                    I would like to bring this to your kind attention that there is something wrong happening at Indian Railways. Through this in front of each and every medium I would like to bring the wrong doings of Indian railway one. I had booked four Tickets on 31st May through www.irctc.co.in. Here are the booking details:

                                    Train No : 12562
                                    Boarding Station : New Delhi Railway Station
                                    Destination Station : Samastipur
                                    I have to travel because my wife has an exam for her MBA from XLRI on 1st of July in Patna, Fraser Road and We have to attend my mother’s retirement function at Pusa University, Pusa (Bihar). I hope the need for travel can be understood very clearly. When I booked the tickets i.e. on 31st May status of the tickets was WL-1, WL-2, WL-3, WL-4. Status of all the 4 tickets was changed to CNF from 20th June onwards. I was relaxed that my tickets are confirmed. On travel date i.e. on 28th June 2012 I looged in to irctc.co.in website to check the seat numbers before leaving for the station I was surprised to see that my Tickets which were shown as confirmed for last 8- 10 days were again showing status as WL-3, WL-4, WL-5 and WL-6. I called up 139 and asked them about the reasons initially they were not able to answer anything and when I insisted on knowing the reason they mentioned that they have reduced the number of coaches. I asked them about the reasons they do not have any. I asked them why they have not informed us about the same they did not have answer for the same as well. When asked them what arrangements they have made for such cancellations, they said they do not have an answer. On asking whom should we contact for the same they ask us to contact chief reservation officer who sits in New Delhi Railway station at Reservation counter. We reach the station and found that the Reservation officer does not sits in the Railway Station but outside Railway station in Passenger Reservation center Paharganj. We rushed towards the reservation center and found that he has left for the day. We contacted some people over there in charting department they mentioned that it is confidential but since we are here they told us the reason is (a small coach sent in place of the big coach) and hence some seats which were confirmed were cancelled. When asked why passengers were not informed they were also clueless. They ask us to contact Station Manager as they cannot help us. We somehow again rushed back to the station but could not find the Station Manager over there. Station superintendent ask us write down the complaint we did that and the complaint No for the same is “058”. We checked with TTE about the same, we were surprised to find that our names were completely missing from the chart he was carrying. Our names were not there even in the waiting Lists chart he was carrying. We checked in his chart and found that the PNR numbers of the waiting List people were after our PNR number were missing completely. There was one more family on the station who was in similar situation and their PNR number was [protected].
                                    I would like to get the answers to following questions
                                    How come the Status of Tickets got reversed?
                                    Why our PNR number got missing from the Charts?
                                    Why we were not being informed about the cancellation?
                                    Who is going to pay for the discomforts caused? We spent money in travelling to and fro from the Station to Home and wasted our time and energy going calling one officer to another.
                                    Why arrangements were not done by Indian railways if fault was at their end?
                                    One important thing we booked our tickets in one month advance, railways used our money for complete one month charged service charges etc over it for providing us such kind of services. This is just one ticket imagine that each and every ticket is been booked in advance and out of it so many were not confirmed can you calculate the amount of money every day Railways is earning on behalf of service charges for non confirmed tickets?

                                      my parents were travelling from thiruvananthapuram to banglore in Banglore express on 13/06/2012.The train no:16322,PNR no:[protected],passengers were-V.Radhakrishnan Nair& J.Suseela Devi.They were travelling in B223SL &B218MB.On 14/06/2012 nearly at 4am they noticed that there hand bag was missing.They immediately reported to the TTR in charge.A quick search was conducted with no results.After about 10 minutes a bed maker informed that a hand bag was found in the near by compartment.The hand bag was that of my parents but the jewellery of about 60 gms &1000rupees was missing.A complaint form was filled and handed over to the TTR to file the case at central majestic station.My parents could not accompany the TTR as my mother is a sick person.They alighted at KR puram station.My parents are sure that nothing solid would happen without knowing the details of theif.My father is having a assumption that since the bag was left in the train the theif would most probably in the train itself,otherwise the theif could have left the whole thing outside on his way.My father request the railway police to make a enquiry on the concerned bogeis bed maker as he was the one who accompanied my parents through out the incident & first informed about the bag in the next compartment.We pray sorry if our intusions are wrong but we cannot miss aprobablity like that. There will be no use in questioning the person but a seceret watch on the person can help.If the person is innocent this seceret enquiry will not hurt him.If this type of investigation turns out to be fruitful then railway can to certain extent prevent such robberies in train making Indian railways reaching new heights.I would kindly request you to consider our suggestions with atmost importance.

                                      Dear Sir,
                                      I lost my bag containing a sum o[censored]S$ 500, AUS$ 1800 and a wrist watch when I was trying to board Goa Express (Tr. No.2870) on 17/12/2009 at 2.30 PM at Haz. Nizammuddin Station, New Delhi. Since I could not notice this loss at that very moment, I could not lodge the FIR there at H. Nizammuddin Police Station itself immediately. The only option left was that I could lodge my complaint i.e. via e-mail only.
                                      I therefore, request you that in case, any such person changing the currency etc. comes to your knowledge, kindly do the needful and inform on the above mail.

                                      I, my wife and daughter (PNR [protected]) boarded Vibhuti Express (12334) from Varanasi on 2nd June 2012 at 18.10 hours. At around 4.00 am on 3rd June 2012 at Jasidih (Jharkhand), my red trolley bag (Brand: Novex) was stolen, which contained 15 sets of pants and shirts, 3 sets of Salwar Kameez, digital camera (Coolpix, Nikon), pen drive (Kingston), Tata Photon plus (internet drive), panna set and jewellery, lots of important papers, mathematics books of class VIth etc.

                                      After the theft, I filed my complaint with the TTE in the train. The train reached Howrah Station at 9.30 pm Then I filed my FIR with Howrah GRP, which sent it to Jasidih GRP. Post it to I talked over phone to Mr. Praveen Kumar Srivastava,
                                      SP, Dhanbad, GRP (Mobile:[protected]) and sent a fax to him. Then I faxed the complaint to Jasidih GRP. It was a theft of Rs. 1,50,000 (Rupees One Lakh Fifty Thousand only). But till now nothing has been recovered. If there is no recovery then I would be compelled to knock the door of law enforcing agencies.

                                        Dear Sir, Sub :- Allotment of Vacant Seats against Money not against RAC

                                        Ref :- Our PNR[protected] Train No. 09004 Class 2A Compartment A-1,

                                        Date of Travel 14.06.2012 Name of TC Mr. Sudhir Kumar



                                        We four people all senior citizens (including one Ortho-Handicap), travelled in NDLS-BCT-RAjdhani SP leaving at 23.30 from New Delhi. We four o[censored]s were under RAC, all other passengers in the compartment were having confirmed tickets. We were awaiting for TC with a hope of getting confirmation , sitting tired for next 70 minutes, when TC Mr. Sudhir Kumar appeared.

                                        We requested him to allot seats against RAC, but he said it was going to take more time to check-up. We kept on approaching him for next one and half hours but failed to get seats. Later on he did not appear again and we spent our night in cold without sleep. Later on we found that TC sold the vacant birth against money not against RAC. When we asked about vacant seats in the morning, he informed us that there were vacant seats in Kota junction but he could not inform us as he was sleeping.

                                        This was a torture to us by Railway staff, corrupt practice and illegal action by TC. We would like to complain in Consumer courts and take necessary action against the concerned person.



                                        We request you to take up this matter seriously and get us justice. In case you do not handlee such cases , please guide us in the matter.
