Dear Sir,

I have booked a e-ticket in the month of Nov - 09 against PNR No [protected], when the TC checked our ticekt we have showed our original voter identity card to him, the railway person (TC) told me that in voter ID photo is not cleared show me other identity card like pan card etc. which we have not carried on that time.

After the lots of discussion he has cancelled our e-ticket and maket the another ticket with the penalty as per the railway rule and told me to pay the amount which i am not ready to pay for that.

The railway TC and other railway person has called the RPF and mentally and physically harassment done on that time. We are travel with the family person with 2 ladies and 3 childs due to this i paid the all amount to TC with the penalty which is charged against him.

On that time i called IRCTC customer care no for that the customer care told that via TDR procedure you can cliam your amount. and the 50% amount will be refund you within 3months. As per the instruction i have make the TDR request on IRCTC web site on dated 27.11.2010.

Till the date i am continue followup with the customer care, [protected]@irctc.co.in, tdrprocess <[protected]@irctc.co.in> for non receipt of TDR amount. But he is not replying on the mail.

My concern is how can railway charge the double amount for the single seat. We have paid the amount 2times for the single seat which is not in the rule.

Request your help to return back the amount. Kindly look into this....

Indian Railway — Not refunding of TDR Amount

my pnr no. was [protected]. i have to travel on 22.5.11 from delhi to chakki bank but the train was delayed more than three hrs. i have filed tdr but get confirmation of refund of 50% only. why it is 50% it should be hundred% as per irctc. pls look in to the matter and refund balance as early as possible.

      Dear Railways

      This is to bring to your notice about the apathetic attitude and service on train Number 2625 – Boarder Trivandrum , on[protected] to Delhi 7-09-10.The I ssue is regarding the unserviceable condition of AC system on coach B1.From 5th September – 2010 11.30 am to 6th September – 8.30 pm 2010 .

      Despite repeated reminders to the B1 coach attendant , nothing more than careless argumentative attitude was displayed. The staff blind response was ,” Every thing is working fine” when in reality passengers where sweating and suffocating. The AC supervisor was unavailable when the passengers sought his presence. And When the issue was conveyed he was unresponsive. When the issue was escalated to the TTE on 6th ..there was luke warm response and nothing done.

      During all this time passengers were suffocating and sweating due to the AC not working. When frustrated passengers sought explanation and resolution from the staff on duty and the TTE , then the matters was conveyed to the Nagpur Station by the TTE and things were temporarily resolved by the engineer at Nagpur station ,after a full 32 hours of repeated complaints and desperate requests by the passengers to the Staff and TTE.

      We the passengers of coach B1 , Train 2625 , aboard have been pained about callousness of the staff and the journey turning out to be suffocating and unpleasant . We request you to look into this matter seriously, take action deemed necessary against the staff and to avoid repeat of any such callous attitude or such unpleasant event in future and make Indian Railways a more customer sensitive and professional organisation .



      Please find attached the written complaint with the PNR details of the passengers.

        I always book my train tickets through IRCTC - irctc.co.in. 2 months back i was not able to travel also i forgot to cancel the ticket, after that i file a TDR against it. 2 weeks back i got a mail says that "your account has been suspended, Due to fake TDR file". I was totally shocked, till no i have booked so many tickets for myself and my parents for the next 3 months in irctc, even i didn't took any printout of those tickets.

        Since i have contact customer care over 15 times and also sent more that 10 emails. Till now i didn't got any responce. Most of the time lines are busy suppose if they attent also not giving proper responce.

        Already i have missed 2 travel not being login to account.

          DEAR SIR,
          YESTERDAY ON 4TH SEPT 2010, I WAS TRAVELING FROM BHAGALPUR TO HOWRAH BY 3072 PNR NO [protected] B1 SEAT NO 24.
          WHEN I SEATED IN MY SEATS AND IT WAS 9PM , I WAS TAKING MY FOOD, I FOUND 100 OF COCROACHES AROUND SEAT AND FLOOR.
          SOME INSECTS GONE TO MY FOOD ALSO, AND I DIDNT COMPLETE DINNER.
          IN NIGHT 12 PM I GOT FEVER AND NOT ABLE TO SLEEP . I ASKED CO PASSANGERS FOR HELP AND SOME GENTLEMAN HELPED ME.
          NOW AFTER REACHING MY HOME , I CONSULTED DOCTOR , AFTER EXAMINATION HE TOLD ME THAT I GOT VIRAL FEVER. NOW AM NOT ABLE TO GO TO MY BUSINESS FOR ONE WEEK.I
          AFTER PAYING GOOD MONEY AND TATKAL FEES, I AM NOT GETTONG SERVICE.
          I WILL BE LOOSING MONEY AS WELL AS HEALTH. TEN LAKHS RUPEES LOSS WILL OCCUR IF AM NOT GOING OFFICE TOMORROW.

            I am Amol Thakur,one of passenger used to travel by Indian Railways.
            Its my complaint that at the time of booking of tiket by first class,Railways will not declare exact cuppe number,even when requested by passenger and his requirement for family.If passenger will travel by air and booked ticket in executive/bussiness/'J'class seat number and class will be expressed on ticket or booking voucher,while boarding or desembarcation assitance will be provided.
            But when passenger will travel by railways evan in first class(fair almost eual to air fair),cuppe code or number will not be declare.It is very deficult to find or adjust with other co passenger when we will travel on special medicaton and care.
            Its my hearty request to look into the matter,in the interest of passengers and do the needfull and give desired cuppe on request.

              Dear Sir,
              I hereby, bring to your kind attention that AC-2 coaches are horrible in Provotor Samprak Kranti Express(2501).Cockroaches and mice move about freely in the coaches. Toilet is not cleaned and smells so badly that it is not cleaned since a long back.Is RAILWAYS so inefficient that it cannot arrange for cleanliness & hygiene at least in AC coaches? Also, I would like to tell u that birth lights are not in working condition in AC-2 coaches. Will u please arrange 4 it and oblige your customers?

                Hello Sir

                Yesterday mean 30/08/2010 my Mom and Sister took train from howrah, Howrah-Malda Intercity Express (3465) I book their tickets AC chair car tickets (C1- 58, 59) from IRCTC everything is OK some how they forgot to carry there ID proof that is the reason
                TT did not listen any thing perhaps they have a valid tickets but TT don't want to listen anything used non standard languages...
                They have tickets but TT compel them to leave the bogy...
                at last finding no way MOM and Sister go down with Bag and Suitcase and some how come at Malda by sitting on General class.. My MOM is a hart patient...


                Thank God that they are safe.

                I know the reason TT found that its a good chance to earn some black money... which TT are usually do...

                Earning is Good but exchange of life is not good we should stop this

                Is there any way to stop this?????

                  Dear sir,

                  The platform in the Banaswadi railway station, Bangalore is too short that many times passengers from express trains have to get down to the unhygenic and dangerous areas near the track. Please note that this station is very convenient for majority of the people from the city central. I humbly request you to either extend the platform or atleast clean the areas near the station so that passengers can safely get down there.

                  This may be relevant for many other small stations where a high number of people may be using the station but the platform may be too short. I request railways to consider this matter.

                    Is illegally supplying vendors at Itarsi Platform for the food stalls , he is master mind in

                    making in duplicate identity cards .


                    When ever Police verify the vendors I-card it seems to be perfect but as a whole more

                    than nominated venders are working on each stall .

                    MR, Jitender Sing Chandel, Resident of 12 Bangla Itarsi is dangers man for security.


                    I would like to request you ,please do not disclose my Identity , because he is a big

                    mescal man. & It will dangerous to me & my family’s life.

                      Dear Sir,

                      When I was travelling from SURAT to Mumbai on 27th August 2010 in 2010 Up Shatabdi Express, There are lots of Passangers Travelling in Corridor of most of the coaches
                      When I ask TTE, whether it is allowed to Travel like this on Wait List Ticket in Corrisors, He says Yes, I have asked Him Whether you have charged any Fine on them, He says No, I have not charged any fine.

                      This is pure case of Bribery, where regular Passangers from Surat and Vapi, comes and pay monthly amount to TTE and travel on Board in Train Like Shatabdi Express.

                      Railway — Unauthorised passengers

                      Yesterday i was travelling with train no. 14257 (Kashi Vishwanath Express) from Lko to Ndls where i found that TT is giving entrance to the passenger who are having general ticket and that passengers are disturbing to the passenger who have spent money and booked ticket in tatkal scheme but they can not sleep due to disturbance produced by unauthorised passenger who should not be allowed to entre. I was travelling on Sleeper Coach S1 at Seat no. 23. Kindly look into the matter and take necessary action

                        sir,

                        recently i.e on 20th August 2010, i have travelled with my family on Nizamuddin-visakhapatnam Link express and came at Rajahmundry railway station for boarding. the train came around 9.50 am. The halt is 2 mins. i am travelling with 3 suitcases, wife, daughter. I made reservation in S-9. After train comes i approached the concerned S-9 coach. unfortunetly the said coach was locked by some unthorised passengers. i looked for assistance. No GRP/RPF found in platform number 3. similarly i enquired about TTE. No TTE is there at S-9. in the mean while train started. i along with family rushed with huge luggage to 3 A/C compartment. I found one TTE sitting in that compartment. I asked about the joining details pertaining to me in S-9. The TTE said that he is helpless. TTE is on duty from Vijayawada to Visakhapatnam on that day.According to him that there were no other TTEs for that day. He asked to pay the differential amount and i paid the fees and taken receipt. in that peak joining i lost my brasslet worth 12 thousand. i complained to The GM, Railway Minister, DRMs, CTI and others. i am waiting for the reply. i went to visakhapatnam for my daughters ill health (to see the doctor). i request concerned official to make arrangements to safe guard the passengers.

                        Indian Railways — Unauthorised passengers

                        Now a days AC Sleeper class is not different from unreserved class especially in the case of 3351/3352 Alleppey - Dhanbad express. Passengers boards the Ac coach with a general class ticket and occupies the vacant seats. Once the TT himself allotted a single vacant seat for three members of a family.Just imagine how much inconvenience it causes for the genuine passengers who is travelling on valid reservation ticket booked 60 days in advance. This kind of TT sponsored travelling is rampant in Rayagada - Ranchi route . Please take necessary action.

                            Indian railways introduced Tatkal system for the people who suddenly plans a travel.

                            But during peak days when we go to reservation counters TATKAL Quota will be compleated with in 5 minutes after starting reservation at 8 am,

                            I went to reservation counter 2 days back. Actual availability of tatkal for GOWTAMI Express was 302 seats. But immediately after reservation opening at 8 am It showing availability as 100. with in 3 to 5 minutes those 100 tickets also compleating.

                            How it is possible? there are no other ways Online booking Server will be busy up to 9am every day so there is no possibility of booking througn online for a normal person.(even in high speed broad band).

                            And reservation available only at stations. Even in those stations about 2 persons getting reserved. What About Others.

                            and an action against it is necessary...
                            althought i think that that the govt. can not do anything right now...
                            as its a matter of corruption which can not be controlled over night, yeah but some serious action should definately be taken to ensure equal opputtunities

                              Given below are the correspondences, made with IRCTC as of date. Though the minimum period of 90 have lapsed, I have not get back my refund amount of Rs.2920/-. In my case there is no fault on my behalf. Since the train has got delayed by more than 10 hours, I have to cancell my ticket. A lower middle class persons like me may not be in a position to wait for such a long duration to get back the refund.

                                    I want to file a complaint against western railway regarding non cooperation to find out lost mobile in cracked body of railway coach. during travelling from ahmedabad to surat by Karnavati express on dated 16/8/10 by ticket having PNR NO [protected] IN COACH NO 911595 BEARING COACH NO -D8 NEAR WINDOW OF SEAT NO 4/5/6.
                                    During travelling due to damaged body of railway coach of above no, accidentally my samsung mobile fell down in side the crack body and railway people did not able to find out. It is my request to western railway of ahmedabad authority kindly try to remove it while train came back in yard and handed over to me.Further it is to mentioned that this is to bring your notice that there should not be any misuse of my mobile kindly file this complain and forward to railway police

                                      Mr. Sanjay Kumar Was travelling in Train No. 9656B Ajmer Indore Link Express his seat no. was B2--8. PNR No. [protected].Date of journey 11.08.2010. Unfortunatly Mr. Sanjay forget to keep original copy of Driving licence but Mr. Sanjay was having the copy of driving licence and other proof as ATM/ Debit card and Companey ID card ( public limited companey). Because Mr. Sanjay was not Having the original ID proof he was treated as without ticket and Mr. Rajesh ( TTE) was asking for money Rs 500 ( as bribe) for considering the copy of Driving license as proof of ID. Mr. Sanjay was not having the Money, He replied sir, i dont have the money, so please consifer this Id Card as proof. Finaly TTE does not considerd his request and TTE was treating Mr. Sanjay as Without ticket passenger. Mr. sanjay requested to TTE that I will arrange the Ticket (open ) Ticket and money of Diffrence amount for AC. Final one of the friend of Mr. Sanjay bought the ticket (general ). When Mr. Sanjay asked the TTE to issue the diiffrence amount ticket and allot the birth at that time Mr. Rajesh suddenly started abusing and beating to mr. Sanjay. On reply Mr. sanjay also beated Mr. Rajesh as self Defence. Finaly there was high voltage drama end with arresting Mr. Sanjay with help of police and puting Mr. Sanjay in railway police Chhitorgarh. and Mr.Rajesh ( TTE ) Made an FIR. against Mr. Sanjay.Mr. Rajrsh TTE also get down at chittorgarh railway stataion.

                                      Dear Sir, as i was also travelling in the same coach and i have seen the above mention drama.

                                        requested sir,
                                        at vasai road [w] their are some prostitutes and haukers sitting inside your railway premises near ticket booking office, a person name raju selling piracy dvds and blue flims with dirty pousters on it, how can a ladies passangers stand in q to remove tickets. bridge work is in prosses their is no spase to stand for tickets, a second thing prostitutes stands in railway premises making their dirty business at puplic place, let me know how can ladies passangers can wait for their family members at statons, i had made a call at ur mumbai control room at 7/8/2010and8/8/2010 no action took place against it till now 12/8/2010. please take some quick action on it for ur passangers and let passangers knows railway has don some good job for them.
