Respected Mam,
I'm a P.g.d.m student.I'm a big fan of you but today when i traveling from syalda that is from jammu to kashmir i seen many T.T were doing business,they charge Rs.50 or more from every passenger as there pocket money for standing in sleeper class and they beet the persons who stands in sleeper class and don't give them money,being a good citizen it is my duty to inform you and i expect you the same.
It is my request that you kindly,take corrective action so passenger can travel in trains freely.

    i was travellng from cstm to belapur,after mankhurd station one person in civil dress came in the compartment and asking for ticket,even iwas travelling with a valid ticket, iask him to show his id proof of TC,he started shouting on me and abused me then he turned to next person was a labour class and travelling without ticket he charched him 150 rupees without any giving him a reciept and from 4 to 5persons he charged at the same time, i dont remember but im sure that i saw him one of the ticket window in mumbai perhaps i think he was in chembur or govandi station,issuing the tickets to passengers.my request is to indian raiway that do strict actions against these type of corrupted railway officers and in future that illegal fine goes to indian railways

    Indian Railways — TRAIN TICKET WINDOW

    IF YOU ALLOW LADIES COMPARTMENT SEPERATE IN EVERY TRAIN WHY NOT SEPRATE LINE IN TICKET WINDOW.THERE IS MANY PROBLEM WHEN MEN AND WOMEN ARE GATHERED IN SAME QUE.....
    SO MY HUMBLE REQUEST TO YOU PLS THINK ABOUT SEPERATE QUE IN TICKET WINDOW....

      4 months ago i m found guilty of the parking chllan on the patiala railway station . frst i thought wat kind of chlaan is this ,this is my frst time ever i found guilty in vehicle field. than from that day they r giving me dates which was going on week by week or month by month. last saturday i succesfully get my RC back. but at frst they tell me it is of only just 100 rs. then they told 500rs. and finally it is of 300rs. we are all abt 100 peoples. some of them got chlaan of the cycle , they hv toh submit there form for beering the chlan.
      i m surprised at them . i m frustrated bcs frst they dnt give any notification of parking chlaan and then they r not responsible for that , some of the person RC r lost. they take the whole day for four or five times for beering the chlaan

        Why do the Indian railways maintain Sleeper compartments, when they are not in the manner which it is supposed to be? The wash room in sleeper compartments stinks like hell and is unhygienic. The compartment is crowded with unauthorized vendors and passengers causing inconvenience.
        There is no improvement in the service provided since 2000.
        Moreover, the ticket checkers are arrogant and currency seekers.
        I suggest the Indian railways to privatize, if they are unable to maintain the grass root level standards.

        i want to put an complaint to railway authority about missmanagement
        As i was on o tour from bilaspur to Delhi and returned by chattisgarh express

        1. entry of passangers with general ticket/ MST / without ticket in our compartment and quarelling for sitting at our seats.
        2. unavailabilty of water in the coach/ compatment toilets
        3. no complaint books are provided on asking so to TTE/ TC, etc
        4. Ask for bribe by ticket chekers between beena to jhansi for our original consessional tickets

        i think u should help me in these situations as iam a coustomer to ur facility

        Indian Railway — Wrost Quality of food provided by Indian Railway.

        Sir / Madam,

        This is to bring to your kind notice that the food quality of North East Express (Train No: 2506) is very bad or should I say was worse. The food supplied by the Pantry Car is really very bad & the people working in the Pantry Car behave very badly with the passengers.

        I was a passenger in North East Express (Train No: 2506) from New Delhi to New Jalpaiguri. I bought the ticket from Okhla Railway Ticket Reservation Center under the Tatkal Sewa Scheme at a price of Rs.541. My PNR No. is[protected], Coach: S2, Seat/Berth: 70 – UB.

        I boarded the train from New Delhi station on[protected] & the train departed at 6:40 am. I took my breakfast of two Samosas @ Rs.15/plate i.e. Rs.7.50 each & Tea @ Rs.5/cup which compared with its quality is very low graded. In the lunch they have two options 1.Non-Veg (where only option is Egg Curry) & 2.Veg; I ordered the same @ Rs.45 / meal. The Rice and the Egg Curry was not even eatable. When I made payment for the lunch with an Rs.50 note. I was supposed to get Rs.5 in return, but the service person in the Pantry Car has not returned the money.

        During the dinner the same story happened. I ordered Veg & I was served with what so called Veg Biryani which cost me Rs.40, but trust me it was not eatable at all. I was very disappointed with the food quality of the food and the service provided by the Pantry Car. Everybody in the train was bearing the same feeling.

        This is not only the matter of Rs.5 but also the matter of goodwill of Indian Railway. I am a citizen of India. I know that being a citizen of India “Corruption is the part of our life & an Honest man is a liability”, but if there is tourist who visits India & this was being faced by him/her. It would be a bad experience for them & it would harm the goodwill of the Indian Railway.

        This is high time and this matter should be looked at with high attention because it takes a lot of time to create goodwill but it takes a little to loose it.

        I along with my wife and infant son boarded the 2441 Bilaspur New Delhi Rajdhani express from Durg station on Monday, March 15, 2010.

        The PNR number was [protected], class 2A, seat nos 21, 22.

        In the rice bowl, we found a dead cockroach.
        This was immediately brought to the notice of the catering staff.
        They said that the food was packed in Durg station and the running staff were not responsible for it.

        But the crux of the matter is that this situation can lead to food poisoning and other ailments. In the train there is no medicines leave alone a doctor.

        Such are the standards of the Bilaspur Rajdhani. Incidentally no other Rajdhani suffers from this kind of step motherly treatment at the hands of the Railways. See the facilities available in the Mumbai / Howrah / Sealdah / Guwahati rajdhani.

        Indian Railway — Worst Service

        I have tried three consucative day to book ticket, but every day i get the same hanging error.
        then i tried to book the ticket from ticket counter, when i reach there to collect the reservation form for tomorrow so that i can go there befor 2- 3 hour and get my reservatation done, there i find 4 to 6 people all ready in line for tomorrow's booking, when i conform from the local vender there, they said, people use to start coming from 3 pm to take there place in queue for next day.
        It's simply horrible. finaly i get to go through airways.

        No Seat Avaibility, No Platform Ticket ( In delhi), Never on Time ( Every route, every where, every train), Poor Service, Worst Employee ( in term of behaviour) .

        Dear Sir,

        1. It is highly appreciated that myself and my family has travelled in 2 AC instead of 3 AC (originally booked) in train no. 2615 GT Exp from Chennai to Jhansi on 10 Sep 2010 (Refer PNR #[protected] due to up-gradation scheme.

        2. In the same time we have also seen the worst 'CATERING SERVICE' provided by RK Catering, New Delhi. We are very surprised to see such a bad service in a super fast express connecting both the metros. Mr Dharmender Singh has served the food and confirmed that the quality of food (Rice and Dal) can not be changed by them and it is in the knowledge of higher authorities.

        3. The general cleaning done inside the AC compartments by the railway staff is also not up to the mark.

        4. It is requested to look into the matter and take appropriate steps to improve the catering service and also the general cleaning in the AC coaches of super fast trains. Low quality of food may spoil the health of the customers to whome you serve with smile.

        Indian Railways — SERVICE

        It is quite bitter to my tounge to say that yesterday, what did i experienced while travelling in the Mumbai suburbs through the lifeline of mumbai, the local railways of mumbai.
        I bought a ticket coupen from Kharghar railway station to Vashi. I punched coupen of value Rs. 6/- and then I bought another coupen of Rs. 50/- because I have to buy ticket for my colleuge also. Each was of Rs. 7/-.
        I first punched the ticket of Rs. 6/- from one of the CVMs and then I punched another Rs. 8/- valued coupen from another CVM.
        Noe when we arrived in Vashi, the TC asked us to show our tickets, and found that the rest Rs. 8/- ticket which we punched on another CVM was having the timing 2 hours earlier.
        The fault was in the CVM at Kharghar, and the officer charged us Rs. 260/- each.
        Though we baught ticket, but due to the Railway's fault, we were charged like this.

        Then again when we were about to left Vashi, we went near to the CVM at Vashi and punched ticket for Thane, we found that one more CVM at Vashi was faulty and was showing timing 3 hours prior to the current timing.


        So, in this way, the Railway is busy cheating the public by setting the faulty CVMs at the suburb stations in the Mumbai. I strongly protest their stupid action here and want to take strict actions aginst this issue.

        Indian Railways — Worst site in this world

        Hi All I never seen the site in this world as very and very slow is https://www.irctc.co.in... How worst and they dont have enough money to spend for server...

        TCS did great projects, better to stop now, thats good for TATA family,

        As a regular traveller..9 out of 10 times, the trains gets delayed.I never reached my Destin...on time, every now and then.I don't even think, it will be resolved..but want to show how we are adequate to such thing without resolving.
        Very worst experience with indian railways i really shocked that being super fast how come it get delayed by 6.30 hrs that for shprter distance i seriosuly suggest that indian railway minister along with his staff he need to exp with train no 12816 that to in gaya stn. So that they know the public problems unless travelling in chopper and ac vehicles with public tax amount. How many people suffer in stn by sleeping on floor. I suggest people to not to use train 12816 its one of worst train like indian railways.
        Indian railway services is very poor nor we get help from customer care. It is very bad services of customer care. They won't pick up the calls. Calls rings but they don't receive nor they say anything. So it's Very useless to call customer care. It just for name shake they have kept in net to complain regarding anything but it's not worthable. Really its Very disappointment of customer care of indian Railways. We don't give any rating for this.
        Very poor services of Indian Railways of customer care. No calls received from them. No response from customer care.

          Dear Sir/Madam,

          I have booked Railway ticket from surat to Ahmedabad for the date 17th, Nov., 2010. for Karnavati Exp. (Train No. 2933. PNR No.[protected]. and from Ahmedabad to Udaipur city by Udaipur Exp. (Train No. 9944. PNR No.[protected] for the same date for further travelling.

          I filled only one reservation form for both the tickets. but they issued the ticket of Karnavati exp. for the date 17th Oct., 2010 instead of 17th, Nov., 2010. While they issued the ticket for Udaipur Exp. is on correct date of Journey.

          So pls I request u to look after this complaint.

          Indian Railway — wrong dated ticket

          hi sir
          i have booked 6(six) ticket of navjeevan exp.(train no.2656) from chennai to ahmedabad dated 10-03-08 pnr no.[protected]-7878567 according to it i filled my form but when i went to railwaystaion i found that ticket was of[protected] so i missed train of[protected] i became upset because i m new in this route then i have to buy 3 tier ac 6 tickets which i cant afford but i have to buy it and its pnr NO.[protected] and i paid 8190/- for that tickets bcoze of railway staff i have to suffer and i have to pay a lot money.

              I was supposed to travel in train no. 4313 Dadar-Bareilly Express from Bhopal to Jhansi on 8th of November 2010 at 22:40 PM. My Berth and Coach No. respectively were 57, S-5. PNR No. [protected]
              But, as soon as the train reached Bhopal Junction there was a heavy rush in the train and it was over-crowded. Many people were travelling without ticket or on waiting list ticket who are not supposed to board on train. I was having reservation but in-spite of it I was not able to reach my berth due to immense rush in the train. People were lying on the corridors near and in the toilets. There was so much crowd that i could not entered my bogie due to pushing and over -crowded. Then I searched for TTE who could have helped me but in-spite of being on his duty he was not present near by the train so as he can solve my and other passenger's problem.Then I approached towards AC Bogie which was 5 compartments behind it.There I contacted AC -TTE whom I told about my problem, but he Irresponsibly answered me to get back to my coach where I'll find Sleeper Coach TTE who was not present there on his duty. In This mixed confusion and running suddenly the Train whistle blowed and the train went away and I missed my train due to such irresponsibility of TTE who are supposed to help passengers but they didn't, who allowed people without ticket and people having Waiting List Ticket to board on train. Because of this only, I missed my one more train from Jhansi Junction to Kanpur Central, which I needed to catch next day morning at 6:00 AM from Jhansi Junction so as to attend my duty.

              Coach and Berth No. : C1/0045/WS
              Note:
              (1)My Complaint is that if any TTE was on duty on coach no. S-5 then where was he?
              (2)If Railway didn't appointed any TTE in that particular coach then it was Railways Mistake due to which many passengers suffered.
              (3)In these circumstances when I reached AC-TTE his attitude was not good towards the fellow passengers he was irresponsible which didn't suited any Public Servant's behaviour.
              Lost which I have suffered due to this irresponsibility of Railways:
              (1) From Bhopal to Jhansi amount of ticket : Rs. 150.00
              (2) From Jhansi to Kanpur amount of ticket : Rs. 255.00
              Moreover this I didn't reached my duty on time which ultimately resulted in a leave.
              Therefore, I request you to refund my above amount and please take appropriate action against the TTE whose absence resulted in this, so as no more people need to suffer this type of mental stress in further future.

              Indian Railways — NOT PRESENCE OF TTE

              RESPECTED SIR,
              ON 29 JUNE 2010 I TRAVELED FROM KANYAKUMARI TO COIMBATORE ON RESERVED TICKET PNR NO.[protected], TRAIN NO 6525 BANGALORE EXP ALONG WITH MY FAMILY. COACH NO S-9 SEAT NO-39,38,39 AND S-1 SEAT NO-01 WAS ALLOTTED TO ME. TRAIN WAS FULL DUE TO LOCAL (DAILY) PASSENGER, I WAS NOT ALLOWED TO USE MY RESERVED SEAT. MY BOTH CHILDREN SUDDENLY BECOME SERIOUS SICK DUE TO HIGH FEVER AND OTHER PROBLEMS, AFTER 8 HRS OF JOURNEY TTE CAME TO CHECK MY TICKET AT TRICHUR, HE TOLD ME HE IS ERNAKULAM RAILWAY STATION STAFF BEFORE THAT NO TTE OR OTHER PERSON WAS AVAILABLE TO HELP ME. I WAS MENTALLY TENSE BY SEING CONDITION OF MY SONS. I REQUEST HIM TO PROVIDE ME MEDICAL AIDS IMMEDIATELY AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE. BY SEEING CONDITION OF MY SON HE ARRANGED DOCTOR AT PALAGHAT RAILWAY STATION. DOCTOR WAS AVAILABLE AND THEY CHARGE RS 50/-WHICH I HANDED OVER TO NURSE WITH CONSULTANT WITH DOCTOR AND STATION MASTER.SIR MY REQUEST IS THAT MEDICAL FACILITY SHOULD BE FREE BECAUSE PEOPLE ASK FOR DOCTOR ONLY IN EMERGENCY, AND IT IS NOT POSSIBLE THAT ALL PEOPLE HAVE SUFFICIENT MONEY AT THAT TIME.

                Hi,

                I was travelling from Tirupati to Bangalore on 5th Nov 2010 with my family (18 tickets). Train number 214 (Chennai to Mysore Passenger) We were been alloted on S5 Coach and seat numbers are 9 to 14, 57 to 70. Both the seats are near to toilet and when I boarding the compartment there was a worst urine smell on both the toilet.

                I went and gave a complaint to Dy. Station Manager. His response was very quick and there was an announcement for the cleaning staff.

                But the support staff not reached to the compartment without the necessary equipment to clean these toilets. The TTE was also there in the platform and I informed the same to him as well. He responded that there is no water in Tirupati station so the cleaning can be done only in Bangalore or Mysore. I was surprise to hear this from a TTE. I again requested him to arrange for the cleaning.

                We all are aware that there are many people visiting Tirupati but the Tirupati railway station is not equipped with necessary equipments due to this we were struggling my entire family.

                The same problem was there in S7 coach as well on the same day as I got one more announcement after my request announcement.

                Will this be taken care? God only knows. I would request all the people to do their duty perfect so that this kind of issues can be arrested.

                The necessary incharge for this area should be punished including the TTE who not responded properly.

                  I booked railway ticket from CLT - MAS from chennai and the ticket was confirmed one.Due to my personal reason i want to change the boarding point to Shornoor,so i went to Guruvayoor railway station to change the boarding point and filled the form.But the officer told me that its not possible to change the boarding point because both are different quota.So its not possible and you have to go CLT.If i am going there then why should i change my boarding point..Could you please tell is there is any restriction is there to change the boarding point like quota probs.

                    Dear Sir,

                    I am a Physically Handicapped person having the disability of amputation to my right leg.
                    First I should thank providing a separate Disabled Coach for exclusive Disabled persons. But regularly in this Coach non-disabled passengers are travelling and not allowing the Disabled persons neither to sit nor to board the train. The Railway Authorities is failed in Implementation part of separate coach. Though there is a penalty of Rs. 500/- for boarding non disabled persons into Disabled Coach, no TTE is visiting to this Coach to check. If anybody want to travel ticketless the Disabled Coach is the safest Coach. The police personnel who is suppose to safeguard the system allowing non disabled passengers by taking petty amount.
                    My personal experience is that I have travelled by 7050 on 23rd October 2010 from Secunderabad to Kazipet in Disabled Coach. The coach was already filled with the normal passengers. The disabled persons were about 8 members. The two normal passengers viz. Duvva Venkat Raju and other used unparliamentary language about Disabled persons. I taken objection for the words used. The train was just left the platform. The quarrel in hot. The normal passengers were manhandled me though I am a disabled person. For the help I pulled the chain. The train was stopped and the RPF personnel on guard arrived the spot. They taken me to the custody for doing Alarm Chain Pulling (ACP) alongwith the above 2 persons and handover us at Kazipet Rly Stn. ( RPF Station). The time was 2.00 AM (night) the SI (P. Maharaju) was really in good sleep. Being the local persons, the Normal Passengers (Venkat Raju) brought recommendation from local RPF police personnel. As such he was made free and I was booked under Section 141 of Railway Act, for ACP. I requested the SI that I have not pulled the chain intentiontionally but for need of help, but he told that if I speak more he will register the case under 3 to 4 sections so that I should be remanded. At last at about 3.00 AM he registered the case under section 141 of ACP and collected the bail amount of Rs.1000/- and freed me to attend to the Court on 26th October, 2010. Being the section 141 petty case I was not given any chance to pray before the judge. Normal passengers travelling in Disabled Coach resulting to petty cases on disabled passengers instead normal passengers who are wrongly travelling in disiabled coach. I was made to sit right from 9.00 AM to 2.30 PM before the Court and I was given a Receipt for amount of Rs.1000/- penalty.
                    Sir, My request to Railway Authorities, Ministry of Railways, Ministry of Social Justice, Hon’ble Supreme Court Judge to look into the matter regarding :
                    1) Steps to be taken for proper implementation of Disabled Coach meant only for disabled persons.
                    2) Strictly TTE should check the passengers in disabled coach.
                    3) Disabled persons need not be forced for Escort.
                    4) Tickets to disabled should be issued in both ways with or without Escort so that misusing of travelling with Escort ticket is minimized which lead to income to Railways to the extent.
                    5) The disabled coach should be attached at particular point instead of either front or back to SLR Coach.
                    6) The disabled coach location on platform should be announced in public announcing system so that the disabled passengers can reach the sport in advance.
                    7) The penalty imposed on non disabled passengers should be written on the coach.

                    I therefore request the concerned authorities to see that the little provided to disabled persons should be implemented in proper way.

                    I completly agree with his state and appriciate him.
                    But what about the person who is not handicaped permanently but temporary he is handicapped due to some hurt. What about such people.
                    i am normal otherswise but suffer from acute angina pain on exertuion.i can travel in normal reerved coach, but when travelling by ENERAL COACH pain in the chet due exertion becomes unbearable.am i allowed to travel in the LRD HANDICAPPED PERSON COACH?

                    I also faced this type of situation, I have right leg disability, In July 2011 first time I tried to travel in disability coach, when arrived many people entered into the coach, they totally occupied the seats me and my dad thought if TT came people will get to another coaches and some body will get down with in two hour, Our journey is nearly 14 hours, We waited for 4 hours, that is first my father request a lot others to give me seat, finally some I got but that is upper birth but can't sleep because it is already with two persons, My father Sat down with people which is worst I felt very guilty, Actually me or my father don't know Disabled coaches like that for me, I travelled only 3 times in train that to General sleeper coach, If the incident took in the day definitely my father will take out of the in the middle of journey, but it is midnight we didnt have option, didn't have energy to argue because morning we done much work, the day we travelled didn't have any festival holidays, means they can try in another coaches, and not all members are lower people there are teenagers and Adults who can afford train, actually who cannot afford train ticket people are less, definitely disabled people can get seats but some #### who dressed well, and young people who are show casing are also travelling in same coach and arguing with this kind of people, Railway police should concentrate on this and Railway department also. From then onwards I just travelled only 4 times in train that to Sleeper coach, Maximum I am travelling in Buses only because of that situation. I think people like me are still facing the same situations.

                      Respected Madam,
                      I want to inform you that day by day street hawkers are growing on the railway plots and due to that misconvinience, small accidents, traffic jam, is occuring badly. The main problem is that they are misbehaving and teasing to the localite and railway quarters holders. They are about to make their shop in the quarter, they are badly entering in the quarter premises and they are showing their political power and they are thretning the people badly.
                      I hope You will take some urgent action behind this or You will suggest me a proper way to complain against this.

                        This is to bring forth the inconvenience caused to passengers at the recently functional train station at Anand Vihar, New Delhi.
                        The main cause of concern is the unavailability of food or any eateries at the station.
                        I had a train to catch, unfortunately from the Anand Vihar station, train no 2874, Jharkhand Swarna Jayanti Express, on 2nd Nov.
                        When I called the train helpline no 139 during the day, it told me that the train was scheduled on time but in reality it was almost 5 hours late.
                        Assuming that the train would depart on right time, I reached the station before time only to know about the delay. since I had never seen this new Terminal , I had no idea that there were no food joints there. I almost starved because of the unthoughtfulness of the railways people who supposedly have thought that the passengers would carry food stuff with them and hence no options of eateries are provided to them..
                        There was only one stall where one could find a few packaged things to eat which also got closed by 9 30, as if people don't feel hungry or don't crave for tea, coffee after 9 30.
                        Though the station is quite organized, infrastructure wise, but this unmindful act on the part of the railways caused starvation for the passengers.
                        This should be immediately looked into so that the future passengers who come to board their trains from the terminal don't have to face such problems.

                          I went to old Delhi railway station to see off my friend who had already come there and was waiting for another train to board.
                          After meeting him and he boarded his train, I was caught by a ticket checker for not having a ticket; I explained him that I was not aware about the procedure(I was indeed not aware about the same) but to no avail.
                          I asked him to let me go and find out if it is true but he didn't allow me to do so.
                          He fined me Rs. 254. In the meantime so many people crossed him but he didnt check them.
                          It was a terrible & frustrating experience for me.
                          There should be effecient system in railway so that nobody can enter the plateform untill a ticket is available instead of paying a heavy fine for nothing.(that too when u were not at all aware of the same).

                          I am Software Emplyee, Mumbai. At the WeekEnds i am always plan for going to temples. But with in 20 Weeks i Absorved that Ticket Collector & RPF Police People are Behaving very worst way to get the Money from the Passengers.

                          1. Police People is asking the Ticket, when the passenger showing the ticket Police People take the ticket and telling him to come with me. There they telling to the Passenger you are not having the Ticket. You Have to Pay the Fine of 500/-. TC & Police People are Cheating the Passengers. And they saying that you have to go to jail and also Beating with leg. Due to these dirty Animals your society is going very back and no body is taking care of passengers. Who has to take care of these Animals and also Police People Support is Ticket Collector also. This Sutivation is happened in Every Day Dadar next stop Elpenston Stop very very very bad for Western Line Passengers.

                          Please Sir if any body is in Higger Grade in the Govt. Office. Please Make like Issue to be Sent to Exact Inbox Place. Because i have no option to post the this message to correct person. Thats why i am posting in this Place.

                          2. Good Sir For Our Mistake we have to Pay the Fine and No Mistake also we have to Pay Fine. Hands Up to the Indian Government.

                          Me along with my wife and three year old kid committed the mistake of not securing a platform ticket due to the urgency to drop my old parents who needed help to board the train.
                          Kr puram railway station is situated on the main road and is a trespassed by many locals for crossing from one side to another.only me and one other person were picked by a very rude behaving ticket checker with a red tag, not even able to make out if it's a genuine officer, no uniform and was screaming for money.
                          They were very choosy in picking their victims and letting go people who looked poor .
                          after digital India I hardly carry cash with me and genuinely had paytm and debit cards.they refuse to let me and my family go and held without a solution putting everyone indiscomfort.
                          Another person's I phone worth 98000 was confiscated to pay the fine.upon argument for snatching the phone the TT who was a lady claimed that her picture was taken of the incident and called railway police.he was later taken to police custody for further harassment.
                          We genuinely understand that we are at fault for not securing a platform ticket.but I think this need to be fixed by the government by introducing a tab on the online ticketing Portal giving provision to buy platform ticket as well.we are not people who can't afford a platform ticket..it's the inconvenience getting them on hand or the system which is not secure letting us do this.
                          Ticket checker should also have provision to collect digital money.
                          Request govt to take this as a feedback and take necessary measures.

                            Online railway ticket booking facility through irctc.co.in remain inaccessible during 8.00 hrs to 9.00 hrs which is the opening hour for TATKAL ticket booking. There appears to be some corrupt practice being followed during this period by blocking interest connectivity of the website particularly 2 to 3 days prior to festive days like Diwali, etc.. The facility is only open after by 9.30 hrs. by which time all the TATKAL quota shows WL. If someone urgues that due to heady traffic congestion during the peak period of 8 to 9 hrs, the existing brandwith capacity becomes incompatible, it is not acceptable since the same problem does not arise on other days when there is no festive seasons or the bandwith would have been increased to ensure transparency in the online ticketing system. Due to this, the very purpose of TATKAL Scheme or elimination of malpractices in the system gets certainly vitiated.

                            Yesterday night i had seen tickets available for Konkan Kanya Express/0111⇒10111
                            however in morning when i sat to take tickets the website was showing "Service unvailable " for merely 1 hour and once it started the ticket status had gone to :

                            [protected] WL# 252 WL# 80 WL# 30 WL# 7

                            This is not the first time i have faced such problem from last 1 month i have been seeing tickets are not in availability status they are all in WL list and if the tickets are available previous day the very next day they goes in WL.

                            Hope to see action taken against such malpractice which is spoiling the image of indian railways.

                            IRCTC — Non-availability of tickets

                            This is the second worst experience with IRCTC. We really need to strive for booking a ticket. Within a second there is no seats available even in speacial trains. I logged and saw availablity for Special train No 06003 at 8AM but the minute i book it got struck in payment and atlast it ended with a waitlist ticket. This is autrocious, i wish any big official should try booking a reservation atleast once in his lifetime then he will realise the pain of a common man. PLease take strick action against IRCTC

                              Dear Sir,

                              I went to secunderabad railway station today morning by 6.25am to receive my mother, she was coming in Narayanadri Express from Tirupathi.

                              I purchased the platform ticket and enquired about the arrival of the said train and in which platform in the counter. I was told that announcement will be made at the time of arrival. I was waiting for .35hr in platform no 10 under the mic waiting for the announcement.

                              Then I received a call from mother that train has already arrived in platform no. 8 at 7.00 am. I was shocked to know that there was no announcement with regard to the said arrival. I was made run from 10 no platform to 1 no. platform to receive my mother. IWe feel that there should be proper communiation to should me made. The administration has failed to do so.

                              This also to inform you that my mother aged 68 years and having knee pain travelled from platform no. 8 to platform no. 1 with laggage. She doesn't carry mobile phone, she took the help of another passenger and called me. If I would have been there I would have arranged a wheel chair and got her safely.

                              I request the concerned department to take up the matter sericously and value the time, feelings, energy of the other person who is are in need of information.

                                139 by indian railway is very poor-use less service provider.
                                today i call 139 from [protected] on dated 31.10.2010,
                                i call 139 4-5 times ,service is OK till enter train number and std code but after than 139 customer care executive appear then they give me really very wrong information, i ask about 9221 train is running today but they tell me yes, but actually train is not running and i am really mismanaged my travel plan.
                                i have proof of all call recorded which is communicated with 139 customer care executive.

                                Indian Railways Call Center — Wrong Informations

                                Hello,
                                This is for the information of all Indian Citizens, never ever believe on Indian's so called BEST TRASPORT call center. I have been experiencing a in convience for the long time, but now it has crossed the limit.

                                Let me share with you the recent worst experience i have faced, I was supposed to travell from Lucknow to Haridwar yesterday from Doon Exporess 3009. The schedule time of arrival of train at Lucknow station is 6.05Pm and departure is 6.20pm.

                                I was tracking the train from call center (139) since morning becuase my house is too far from raiway station and this train comes from Howrah so there are big possibilities for this train to get late.

                                At 4: 30 i have again asked about the train status, call center executive told me that train is running only 1min late. at 5pm i left for railway station and reahced there at 5:45. At 5:50 pm i called at the call center and asked about the status, he said, train is running 1Hr 10 min late and is expected to reach lucknow at 7:15pm. Then left to complete some pending works at nearest market.

                                I came back at 7 Pm coz train was expected to come at 7: 15. When i reached statiuon, i found the stiry that train has been departed 15 min back. It was shocking for me. I was carrying Tatkal ticket and there is no refund policy on it.

                                I again called back at customer care 139, they said that train is running late by 1hr 10 min and is expected to reach Lucknow at 7:15pm.

                                IT WAS 7PM THAT ACCORING TO CUSTOMER CARE TRAIN WAS EXPECTED TO REACH IN ANOTHER 15 MIN AND FACT WAS THE TRAIN WAS DEPARTED 15 MIN BEFORE TO 7PM.

                                My point is, Indian railways give so much of promotion for there call center, and actually the call center is worst.

                                So never ever believe on Indian railways call center.

                                  My complaint is regarding the reserved seat transfered to other person. On 31-oct-2010, my mother(Name - Shanti, Age - 51) was travelling from ghaziabad to phaphund in Gomti Express (Train Number - 2420). She has reservation in 2S class(second seating) in D2 coach at 30 number seat. Due to heavy crowd and rush at ghaziabad station and in train, she reached at her seat after 30-40 minutes with lots of trouble (Before Khurja Station, she was at her seat and khurja is the first stop after ghazibad).

                                  She found that, another person has been alloted the same seat by TTE (TTE Name - Mr. A. K. Srivastava). When she asked TTE about her seat, TTE misbehaved and used wrong wording (like - "tum kya kar logi?") and some very harsh and bad comments(which i can not mention here ).

                                  I request you to take necessary action against TTE Mr. A. K. Srivastava so that he can learn some manners and come to know, how to behave with passengers and respected citizens of our country.

                                      I have booked my ticket on 5/10/2009 through internet , from Solapur to Kalyan (Maharashtra) Journy date was 11/10/2009 train No 6382.After reaching to station I came to know that said train has been cancelled due to track problems.
                                      After filing TDR for refund, with hell lot of followup I have received refund after 5 months .Refund amount received is Rs. 90/- where as ticket amount was Rs.383/-
                                      I would like to know instead of getting compensation on account of harrashment by Railways , they are not even refunded my full amount .

                                      Can I approch to consumer court .

                                        WHEN HE BOARDED THE TRAIN AT 12.30 NIGHT, IT WAS ALREADY LATE BY 8
                                        HOURS & IN THE MORNING, HE NOTICED HIS LUGGAGE (GOODS WORTH Rs 7000-
                                        8000) WAS MISSING.

                                        WHY THE RAILWAY ALLOWS UNAUTHORIZED PERSONS TO ENTER ANY COACH, WHY
                                        THE MISCREANTS ARE NOT PREVENTED AT THE GATE & SPECIALLY DURING NIGHT.

                                        Indian Railways — Luggage Theft

                                        My Mother and sister were travelling from Howrah to Mumbai on[protected] in JNANESWARI SUPer deluxe in 2AC coach. It started from howrah at around 11 pm at night. In the morning they found that my mother bag is missing, that too a big and heavy bag. After search the attendent said that a co-passenger of next cabin of the same compartment de-boarded the train at Rourkela in the morning 5 am, was carrying 2 luggage and one of them was of my mother. we have identified as the handle was broken and he was pulling it away. The attendant said that he asked him for the luggage, but that person said its his.
                                        To surprise, it seems that the co-passenger had sprayed something that made all the 4 passenger in the cabin to sleep..and then taken out the luggage from the seat easily.
                                        NOW DAYS YOU CANNOT EVEN TRUST A CO-PASSANGER.
                                        We lost quite a good amount, as it had cloths, jewellery etc. It seems this is a regular happening in the Howrah - till Raipur belt, co-passanger are the people who with the aide withthe attendant are doing theft..
                                        Still Railways authority are doing nothing, but knows all the happenings.

                                        Dear Sir,
                                        I was travelling through railway from vadodara to borivali dated 09.09.10, train No.2928, Coach No.S7, Seat No.41,42 & at surat station my luggage got stolen.
                                        The total value of asset inside bag is 2 Lacs. There were three theft in the same coach.There was a RPF person inside the coach & at each platform there are railway police then also such kind of incident take place.
                                        Railway is fully responsible for this & I demand compensation for this from railway.

                                        Railway should also answer follwoing questions:

                                        1) When I lodged complain at borivali, the railway police has not informed to any staff at surat at least by phone. (FIR No 00/10). They don't even take this responsibility to pass this information. (Till 18/09/10, the FIR or not any information has reached to Surat railway police, Why?
                                        2) There is no CCTV camera operator at Surat Railway Station, Why?
                                        3) How many such cases they have solved & how many are pending?
                                        4) Why there is no computerization of railway police? Why they still write all the information on piece of paper?
                                        5) Why no body is taking any responsibility as there is no accountability of Staff?
                                        6) Why railway is not learning any lessons from terrorist attack at CST Mumbai?
                                        7) How much Time does an railway FIR take to reach the respective place (within two states, Borivali to Surat)
                                        8) Why they don't work before any major incident? Why they want something to happen then only they will wake up?

                                        Luggage — luggage stolen in bhopal

                                        I was traveling on 9th in Dadar Express for bombay coach No-s2 Seat no -53 with my laguage.
                                        there was two person sit by night from delhi in below my seats in same box also travelling .only three person was available in train.
                                        It was stopped at bhopal next day on 10th -i try to take some water and i said both of guy to take care of my bag.
                                        when i came back it was stolen,person was both of ther.
                                        i ask them -they said they do not see no one came and climbed on top seat there.
                                        i started and search immediately the person but i was not able to get them,i told t.t to tell the about complaint -he did not help me and train started .I was surprised that the both of guy also not there when i came back on my seat they also was going to Bombay.
                                        i wait for police in train for complaint till Bombay no single police i seen in train.
                                        i came back from Bombay and writing you for complaint .
                                        Pls help me in this .

                                        Western Railway — Clean-ness

                                        I am regular traveller of western railway from Surat to Mumbai in TRAIN NO.59442 Ahmedabad Passenger. There is absolutely no cleaning work done in this train. There were cockroaches all around the seats. and I could not sleep in entire journey. I request you to take necessary steps.

                                        I am sagar from mumbai, on 4december i was travelling from Nagpur-Mumbai by vidarbha Express 12106 with sleeper class confirm reservation.There are lot of passengers with Batch Of Dr.Babasaheb Ambedkar are without ticket enterd intio reservation coach, hijacked all seats of reserved person and doing misbehaviour with passengers and was not allowing to sleep in their respective seats..There were no RPF and TTE's for any help, lott of person lost their belongings during travelling due to such worst public..
                                        I am requesting to Railway why you are reservation that on such day during 03-09 december [period for normal people, let them allow to book the train in without ticket...
                                        i[censored] fell that is right then book 2-3 coach for such worst people extra and dont allow them in reservation coach, why are u allowing them in reservation coach...
                                        I salute to RPF and TTE, s for great support to them and not to the people who paid money for reservation.

                                        Worst management of railway for them who are giving them revenue and income ...
