Myself Anupam Mandal, employee of one of the private company , posted at Navi Mumbai. I have booked first class season ticket and have shown my PAN card as identity proof and from counter they mention PAN card number on ticket pass. Unfortunately I have lost my PAN card on same day. Next day TC has been checked and ask me to show my PAN card, I have shown photo copy of PAN card and snap shot of the card from mobile, and told him " my card has been lost". Then he told me for the day I am realesing you, but next time if I will cath then u will be fined.
Then I have asked the TC for suggestion means what should I do for this issue.
He told me just thow the pass and take a new pass, when I ahve taken just on yesterday.Then I have visited Cheif Booking Supervisor at Vashi, he told me the same when I have told them please consider for 15 days for reissue of PAN or issue a ID proof after verify my PAN card copy , snap shot of copy, or original Voter ID , Passport etc. They simply said , " you have to take new ticket".
Now my question is this, when they are very much sure I am the same guy who is having genuine ticket and I can show other proof instead of PAN card, then why they are not accepting.
This is the lack of policy of railways or something else.
Could you please confirm me , is there any rule " you have to show your original copy everytime".
So I am requesting to concern authority , please look in to this matter with proper attention.

Indian Railways Call Center — Wrong Informations
Hello,This is for the information of all Indian Citizens, never ever believe on Indian's so called BEST TRASPORT call center. I have been experiencing a in convience for the long time, but now it has crossed the limit.
Let me share with you the recent worst experience i have faced, I was supposed to travell from Lucknow to Haridwar yesterday from Doon Exporess 3009. The schedule time of arrival of train at Lucknow station is 6.05Pm and departure is 6.20pm.
I was tracking the train from call center (139) since morning becuase my house is too far from raiway station and this train comes from Howrah so there are big possibilities for this train to get late.
At 4: 30 i have again asked about the train status, call center executive told me that train is running only 1min late. at 5pm i left for railway station and reahced there at 5:45. At 5:50 pm i called at the call center and asked about the status, he said, train is running 1Hr 10 min late and is expected to reach lucknow at 7:15pm. Then left to complete some pending works at nearest market.
I came back at 7 Pm coz train was expected to come at 7: 15. When i reached statiuon, i found the stiry that train has been departed 15 min back. It was shocking for me. I was carrying Tatkal ticket and there is no refund policy on it.
I again called back at customer care 139, they said that train is running late by 1hr 10 min and is expected to reach Lucknow at 7:15pm.
IT WAS 7PM THAT ACCORING TO CUSTOMER CARE TRAIN WAS EXPECTED TO REACH IN ANOTHER 15 MIN AND FACT WAS THE TRAIN WAS DEPARTED 15 MIN BEFORE TO 7PM.
My point is, Indian railways give so much of promotion for there call center, and actually the call center is worst.
So never ever believe on Indian railways call center.
