Train No 2309, Date of Journey - 03.07.2010, PNR No - [protected], Boarded from Patna Junction for New Delhi. Soup has been served at 2030hrs & despite of several chasings, food has not been served till 2330hrs to the entire Coach B3. This is really pathetic & is not at all acceptable atleast in Rajdhani Express. The train has crossed Mughalsarai & still no food has been served.
Also, complaint book has not been provided by the Catering Manager.

As a descent citizen of India, i seek to have a clear information on the penalizations to the concerned catering services selected by The Indian Railways.

Indian Railways. — Poor catering Services.

I was travelling on 25th. Oct. 2008 from New Delhi to Lucknow by Bihar S Kranti Express (2566) in class 2 A [PNR[protected]]. THE PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED:
1 Bad and dirty water was supplied for drinking (On payment) by the Pantry car vendor (IRCTC person).
2. The food quality was awful.
3. Even if we want to pay more, good quality food is not available.
4. Why the passengers of AC class are forced to eat the poorest quality of food? Who is taking bribes?
5. Why there is no AC Chair car in this train as half of the Journey is during the daytime?

    Myself Siddhartha Sivaji Ojha had booked a consignment(two wheeler - hero honda bike) dated 07/07/2010 with RR consignment no 804760 in Nagpur Jn to be delivered at Bokaro Jn.

    At the time of booking they had commited to despatch the bike on the very next day. But sorry to say that till date it is undelivered.
    Yesterday (15.07.2010), when I called up the booking station and tried to register my complaint over phone, I was told that the consignment is yet to be despatched. Even if despatched from Nagpur Jn, according to the booking branch official, I personally have to arrange the unloading of the consignment at Jamshedpur station and again load the same into another train untill Bokaro, at my own effort.

    I had paid the freight charges at the time of booking and now i am helpless due to mismanagement of Railway Goods booking department.

    I did not find any customer complaint segment in the indian railway website and hence am mailing my issue to this email id.

    I kindly request you to take necessary action at the earliest.

    I have booked my motorcycle in Chennai Egmore Railway Parcel office on 22nd December 2011 to Mannargudi . But till date i have not received my bike. My Parcel Waybill No: M 756355. Railway officials in Mannargudi station have no idea when it will be delivered. Anyone please help me.

      Respected Sir
      As per above refrence sir myself (ASHISH D. AGRAWAL AND MY WIFE MRS . NAINI AGRAWAL) have taken a waiting reservation ticket for traveling from JAMMUTAVI to NEW DELHI.

      Sir since my reservation has been not confermed so I have approached to MR. vinod kumar ( T.T.E ) in the train for the confernation of my ticket but he has used a very abuse and mis chiefwords with me and in anger he said the that there is no place and when I have reask him he said to me that “ CHAL RE LAVDE NIKEL MERE LAVDE PE BAITHE GA KYA.”

      Sir is this type of T.T.E are running in your train and since Rajdhani express is most presious and luxurious train in India and in your this reputed train this type of corrupted and non mannered T.T.E.S are running in the train hw don’t know how to talk with the passenger .

      Sir please take a action against Mr. Vonod kumar a very mischief and corutted man .
      If there is no action has been taken on my this complaint I shall approach to further authority.

        Right now I am sitting in 2 ac coach of Rajhdhani, going to delhi from ahmedabad... I would like to share my experience and complaint about Railway. AE2 where I am sitting right now... Railway employees say it an extra coach... This coach unlike other coaches do not have charging point facility, AC is not working and the side seats are too narrow... This is not all, you will puke when you will go inside the toilets... I have paid 1895 Rs for this coach... When asked the attendant for complaint book he told to get it from the train manager, when asked him he told to get it from TTE... No proper response...Railways should give our money back...

          we are a regular passenger from bangalore to adoni railway station. train number 7307 basava express,5016 and 2592 gorakhpur expresses does not stop at adoni station which is a hub for as much as 3 lakhs of population.7307 basava express even stop at yadgir, mantralayam, shahabad stations(which are smaller destinations),in this regard i urge you to provide atleast 1 minute stop so that hundreds of passengers and railways get benefited daily.kindly look into thematter and oblige the same

          Please, provide 2 minutes stoppage of Gaya- Chennai SF Exp(12389 & 12390) at Anugrah N Road(AUBR). Because, this is the only weekly train from Chennai to Gaya.
          please provide 2 min stoppage at harda of 12617 mangala express there is a no single train for South there is very difficultly for travel please help I request 😭😭
          Please, provide 2 minutes stoppage of Sanghamitra Express -12295 ( Bangalore Cy Junction to Patna Junction ) at Malur railway station. This is will help so many government and private employees who travel from Bangalore to Malur every day.
          Dear Sir/Madam,

          Kindly provide 1 minute stoppage to 09093 - Porbandar Santragachi Kavi Guru Sf Special at Vyara (VYA) railway station. This train runs from Vyara station but it has no stoppage over their. So please provide this one minute service so many students will be benefited who are studding at Anand (ANND).
          Indian Railways — request for halting Rajdhani Express (22691) at Yadgir (YG) railway station.
          Sir, Yadgir railway station is one of the busiest railway station in north east Karnataka region. Either we have to go at Raichur (RC) or Seram (SEM) to catch this train. Please note SEM station is very small in terms of passenger footfall and revenue. Since Yadgir is one of the largest revenue generator under Guntakal division, a one minute stop should should be provided for 22691 Rajdhani so that it will easy for us commute to our country's capital. We have many students and employees from Yadgir residing in New Delhi for study and work purpose. It will be useful for such people. Thank you!
          We are a regular passenger of Nagercoil Weekly Express Train number 16353 does not stop at Ambur station which is a hub. 16353 Nagercoil Weekly Express even stop at Gudiyattam, Vaniyambadi stations(which are smaller destinations), in this regard i urge you to provide atleast 1 minute stop so that passengers and railways get benefited daily. kindly look into the matter and oblige the same

            Dear Sir,

            This has reference to the Train No. 2971 Sec-bad to Patna Express. This train which was bi-weekly has now been made daily. The scheduled time to reach hyderabad is 9:30 PM, However recently i have found that this train is consistently late by more than 3 - 4 hours, thus arriving at beyond 12:00 Pm in the night. Further this train is also reaching very late to Patna (consistently more that 5 hours delay on June 27 and 28 , 2010). Will the concerned authorities look in to the matter.

              I wanted to transfer my two wheeler from Bhuj to Secunderbad, so on 27 May 2010 I booked my vehicle through Parcel service of Indian Railways. Till Date I haven’t received it. On enquiry from Ahmedbad Railway Control office and I visit to Ahmedbad I found that my vehicle is lost. It had reached upto Ahmedbad railway station on 28 May 2010 but there after there is no record of the same. Also on search of the entire railway station & all platforms I found the vehicle is missing. Railway parcel office could give me one entry according to which the vehicle was further sent to secunderabad, but in reality the vehicle was not mine and someone else’s. Now the Ahmedbad railway control office superintendent says that vehicle might have gone to Rajasthan or somewhere in south. Its a shame on Indian Railways Parcel System & their working culture. What should I do?????

                Luggages — Lost Luggages in Train

                While i was travelling from Chennai to Mysore on 3rd Dec 2011, I found my luggages lost in between Bangalore to Mysore on 04th Dec 2011 in Cauvery Express train. The following were the valuable products i had,
                1. All my Educational certificates (10th,12th, semester certificates(1 to 6),NCC certificates), Airforce SSB interview Call Letter.
                2.Id cards( Voter Id, Driving License,College Id)
                3.Nokia mobile C2-01.
                4.cash Rs.1000 and Indian Bank ATM card.
                5.Cloths and Books worth Rs.2500.
                I have lost my bag/luggage while travelling from Chakki Bank to New Delhi. The bag is of Mehandi colour and it comprised of only clothes and few medicines. The train was Uttar Sampark Kranti (Train No. 12446).

                There are 5-6 pairs of ladies jeans and 10-15 tops in that.

                  I was travelling with my wife in 2835, Hatia - Yesvantpur Superfast Express on last Tuesday (22-Jun-2010) in coach number B3. From the beginning of the journey there was no water supply in the toilets. To add on top of it, suddenly on the day 1 of the journey, sometime after midnight the ACs stopped working in our coach. Initially we didn't realized, however during early morning (of day 2) all passengers started complaining. Since it's summer and there used to be absolutely no air ventilation in the AC compartments, it started suffocating inside. We kept complaining to the attendant, to the Ticket Checker and whomever it was possible, but everything went in vein. We kept asking for the complaint book but no one availed it to us (actually it was no where there). Finally during 7:3o in the evening the attendant informed us that one of the compressors has failed because the compartment was manufactured during 1997 and it cannot take the load. He kept postponing a fix for this issue and finally with utter nuisance we reached Yesvantpur. It was nothing but a horrendous journey (courtesy our great Indian Railway), which I pray no one should ever have in there life. I've the following questions:

                  1) How can a department like Indian Railway be such irresponsible to give a green flag to such long distance train, without absolutely not checking the technical fitness of all compartments?

                  2) Most of the passengers who travel in this particular train are patients (because of well connectivity with Vellore). What if someone would have lost there life inside because of the suffocation? Who should have been held responsible for that?

                  3) We've paid money for travelling in an AC compartment. Will Indian Railway refund the money because we faced the trouble?

                    I had booked a ticket from Jaipur to Katni, the initial status of booking was WL 18 which switched to CNF (Confirmed) in 2 days before the journey, now as i went to station i have given wrong information about my PNR status from the reservation ticket window that my ticket has been canceled and the status showing is NO ROOM, but after the train has gone, the online status changes to BE1, 9 this is pathetic, since i would not be able to travel because my ticket was E-ticket and in case of non-clearance, i would not be allowed to board the train, now how do a customer knows that his PNR status has been confirmed PNR number ([protected]). Because of the faulty system i would not be able to board the train and my money was wasted, May somebody help in this matter, I want my money back.

                    If this is the case, action should be taken against IRCTC!!
                    Since your ticket was raised from IRCTC, railway and their ticket counter has to do nothing in this matter, and more they cant do it. You ddnt have to check the status with the counter even. Have you got the printout of the softcopy saved of the confirmation status ticket?..once confirmed, it will not be cancelled of modified, unless untll, u have done modification on that. Also mind from where ur ticket was taken?..u urself? or from agency? or ur freinds, if so in any case, some body cancelled your ticket from the IRCTC site itself, this may happen. Otherwise, if you have any proof for the transaction u go ahead with complaints against IRCTC, claiming the penalty also.

                      My name is pankaj sharma.This is to bring your kind attention that i had booked my personal luggage from chennai(MAS) to New Delhi(NDLS) and i was promised to reach all the lughage to new delhi railway station on time but the luggage has not reached yet and as i enquired they had told me that my luggage was transported on 31 May 2010 from GT express and it shoud have reached on 2 june 2010 but when i enquired in New Delhi station then they told me that there is no entry for receiving of the luaggage in delhi and it seems that lugage has been transported somewhere else or missed out.

                      I humby request you to look into the request and let me know by when it can be rectified.

                      I hope my request would be considered sympathetically.

                      Sir,
                      With due to regards and humble request. I beg to state a few lines for your considerable action.
                      Sir, I was posted in jaisalmer Air Force station as an administrative opfficer while coming for another posting to Amritsar I have booked my luggage (House hold goods) at Jaisalmer railway railway station booked up to Badami railway station. On 04 Jun 2010 till date my luggage has not been received to its destination.
                      I had asked for the same in jaisalmer boarding station (originator) as well as Badami railway station. But negative responce was received from the both station ( Jaisalmer & Badami).Luggage supervisor of jaisalmer railway station simply state that the luggage has been duely sent to Badami railway station. On 04 Jun 10 with the voucher no:- 210430 and Foreign LT No:[protected].Non receipt of the items is the simplest answer of badami railway station Master.
                      I have been in a great confusion about my luggage. Irresponsible and casual response from Luggage supervisor and station Master makes the customer like us very upset towards the railway Authority.

                        Myself sunil choudhury, working as an Software engineer in HCL technologies.
                        On 19th June i went to Koromangala IRCTC booking counter at morning 5'O clock. I was able to reach the counter at exactly 8.10 AM.

                        I was looking for ticket from bangalore to Vishakhapatnam for any day in tatkal scheme.
                        But the lady in the counter Miss " Mythali Rao " said at 8.10 that no confirm ticket is available. More she mentioned as

                        for 19th -- 67W.
                        for 20 th -- 52W.
                        for 21 st -- 37W.

                        Instatly I called to my friend (Mr Pradeep )to Pune and surprisely he found 33 seats still available at 8.45 am, And fortunately I got the ticket though him by same irctc.co.in site.

                        So it is very clear that , Railway People involve in the cheating. Knowingly they keep some tickets for the brockers ( irctc autherised booker ).

                        I went soon after to a brocker in the same complex at shop -1 . He told me it can possible to get ticket for 21st Jun, but it will take 300 extra money for each ticket. He only told clearly that he has to pay money to each level stating from counter people.

                        I would like to make a complaint on Miss Maitheli Rao for involving in such scandle.
                        She was on duty on 18th Jun at the same address.

                            I have booked the ticket for myself and my family (myself, wifer and two small kids, one 4yr and another just 1yr) through IRCTC and I was travelling with good amount of Lugage to my native from Mumbai Dadar station.

                            When I booked the ticket the status was waiting 1 and 2 in 2nd AC. Latter two days before the travel the status got changed to 1 RAC and 1 Waiting. Finally one day before the travel, the status again got changed for both the ticket to RAC 3 and 4. All this status was through IRCTC as well as through SMS (I already have all these sms in my mobile stored) This is all before chart preparation and one day before the travel.
                            My train from Mumbai to Amravati was at 20:15 from Mumbai, and during the day of travel I checked the status through IRCTC and sms and the status was still showing RAC before chart preparation. Assuming that once the chart will get prepared, the status will change to confirm seats and I reached Mumbai Dadar station at 18:30hrs itself. At 7 when I saw the chart my and my family name was missing and again I checked through sms, to my surpise the status got changed to waiting, which means the ticket got cancelled and I cannot travel.
                            I checked with the enquiry, as well as I met the Reservation manager and all the top officials who were present at that time at Dadar Railway station running from place to place requesting them to help and to understand how this has happened. The answer I got is that because of some VIP arrangement your ticket got cancelled and now nothing can be done. All the Railway officer said they can't help its the problem with IRCTC.
                            I called IRCTC customer help number and I got the rude answer saying go by some other means and it cannot be done.
                            At Railway station the behaviour of the officials was not good at all and nobody want to lookinto the case and I have to request and plead them number of times to help but I couldn;t get any help and I was struggling and my family was stranded at Dadar Railway station. At it was 21 in the night and I didn't find any help for me and for my family,

                            Finally I took the decision to book a cab and godown to Pune in the night and from there by bus to Amravati. The book the special cab which charged me hafety amount and I reached at 01:00hrs at Pune and got into hotel late night, latter in the day somehow got the travel ticket. On the way to Amravati the bus failed and again I have to struggle to get into some other bus to reach to my destination with family and with luggage.
                            It was horrible experience and I complaint to IRCTC in mail with details about the problems I faced and to my surprise I got one liner reply after few days of my complaint saying it is not IRCTC problem it is Indian Railwas who has dropped the coach at last hour.
                            As I understood the not a single coach was not dropped but both IRCTC and Indian Railways are passing buck to each other without bothering the suffering of the customer. They forgot that for a customer, it is Indian Railways and there is not two seperate bodies (IRCTC and Indian Railways).

                            For this mental and physical harrasement of myself and my family, I would like to lodge a complaint again Indian Railways for cheating and would demand for a compensation for this act and for their misbehaving,
                            With this complaint, requesting Consumer Forum to help me in getting justice to me and my family members.

                              i write in hindi type english. meri ek tiket jiska p.nr. no.[protected] hai.is me 2 passenger ki ticket thi.is ticket me se muje 1 person ki ticket cancale karani thi.meri train subhah me 7.20 a.m. per thi. jab mai ticket cacell karane staion gaya or kaha ki muze ek ticket cacell karni hai to booking clerak ne kaha ki computer per cancell hogi.hum puri ticket cancell kar sakte hai.tub mane kaha ki mauze to ek hi ticket cancell karani hai.unhone ticket cancell karne se mana kar diya.mane train me not journey ka certificet li.kisi karnwas mai howrah me iska paisa refund nahi le payi.is me ek ticket meri daughter or ek ticket mere son ki thi.jab mai 15.6.10 ko lakhisarai ke bada babu mr.yaday ke pass gaya or unse kaha ki muze iska T.D.R.CERTIFICET dene ka request kiya .to unhone kha ki iska ab kuch nahi ho sakta hai.mane unse kaha ki TDR dene se paisa to nahi mil gaya.tub unhone ki app jante hai ya mai. us ke bad mera health kharab hao gaya.mai janana chata hu ki iska refund kase hoga.

                                this is all about sorry state of affairs related to Indian Railways showing no respect to its passengers and having no accountability while giving informations regarding trains running status.though tis applies to each 7 every aspect of their functioning,many times(like this one) passengers could not board their train only because they relied on the information given on internet and on their customer care numbers 139. I was to board Magadh exp on 18th june 2010. it was reportedly 8hrs delayed from its scheduled departure 20:10 and was rescheduled at 05:00 on 19/06/2010. this was confirmed repeatedly on phone 7 internet at website http://www.indianrail.gov.in/. suddenly at 01:00 am it was displayed that the train had already departed at 22:26 pm on 18th june. I again called on 139. attending officer also confirmed the departure . when I asked him how could this happen ,how and why a train that had arrived at 21:45pm( 18th june) was preponed suddenly.now I am feeling cheated.not only that this is to cause unprecedented inconvenience and unnecessary & forced stay in delhi. further getting reservation in any train from new Delhi to Patna is quite impossible. right this moment I do not know what next to do to reach my home back. my berth no. is B1, 3,4 7 6 with my friends.
                                I request you to take the matter seriosly and take necessary steps so that such an inconvenience to customers can be minimized and erring officers should be given a lession. my email id is [protected]@gmail.com

                                  I am Pavan. I forgot my IRCTC password. I tried generating new password from "Forgot password" link. Got this message on giving correct user Id n security answer "Password has been sent to your email id", its been more that 14hours and im yet to get new password. My train is scheduled tonight at 8.00pm.
                                  Please give me some working customer care number. The customer care numbers given on IRCTC home page are all broken.

                                    The food quality in Amritsar Shatabdi has gone from bad to worse.
                                    I travelled twice in Amritsar Shatabdi (Train No. 2014) to Amritsar in last two months. The first time I travelled (1st April 2010 , PNR No.: [protected]), I had severe food poisoning and remained on bed for 4 days.
                                    The second time I travelled (20th May 2010, PNR No.: [protected]), I fell ill with typhoid the next day.

                                    This has to be checked as those incidents have happened not only with me but many of my friends as well.

                                    I am always ready to testify in court against Indian Railways food quality whenever required.

                                      v guyz went for ahmedabad from chennai in sangamitra express on march month.whil travlling during the day time ter s lot of disturbances from transgender.they simply threatening us and getting the money frm us.f v r n upper berth als they just beat us and they ll ask money.f r not ready 2 giv tats all v ll b caughted by all f them.they ll behave indescently 2 us..n fear itself v r giving t.f v gav 5 rs they r not gettin t.atleast 20rs.wats the hell.f a handicap man cross over us v ll b laging behind 2 help them.but tis kind of people getting bugs frm us by theratening..pl tis kind of practice should be noted and they should b warned.pl take a note f t..hereafter t should not b practised...............

                                        my mother was travelling in ndls kanpur shatabdi 2033 UP on dated 12th june 2010 alone. she was not able to get reservation due to charting done . she got an urgent work to come from kanpur to delhi. we got to know there are 118 seats were available in the chair car after the charting done.
                                        so she enters in the train with general ticket from kanpur to delhi costing 108. When the TC came to her she told the TC as seats are available so kindly make my tickets . But TC told This ticket is worth less for this train and your are as a without ticket so you have to pay penalty.
                                        She told ok kindly make the ticket then she gave the seat 56 in coach C5 and tc told her to give money to pantry car person.then pantry car person taken the money rs 1240/- and give excess fare ticket but ticket mentioned the fare 620 and excess fare of 620 due to excess wt but she was having only one bag . she is 48 years old .

                                        Kindly Reply us as soon as possible because they asked the charge for the food also . kindly do the need ful.
